Got take out for 1st time tonight. Crab Rangoon was the best we've ever had. Everything else was great.. Definitely our new favorite take out place..

Best American-Chinese food I've found since moving to the area. Several other places are expensive for less food, but for $14 I get beef and chinese vegetables + white rice which is enough for dinner + leftovers the next day. Orders are fast. Service is fine, there's 2 tables to sit at to wait or eat, but not a place to dine-in.

Best takeout place for well over a decade! Been all over trying Chinese food and none have ever beaten Main House.

Some of the best restaurants in Massachusetts are in this small little town, but this is amongst the best restaurants. If you really love Chinese food I promise you you will enjoy.!! I actually prefer this restaurant over any other.!! Highly reccomend!! Good size portions and very good quality 😊😊😊

Their food was absolutely delicious. I had the combination plate C23 and it was enough to feed 2 people. The staff was very courteous and polite and they'll be in business for many years to come. Their cooks are awesome and take pride in what they do. That also falls under great management and wanting to make sure everything is correct all the time. Keep up the great work and I'll be going back for many years to come.

I don't often leave reviews but i have to say -- this is, hands down, the freshest Chinese food i've had since the one time I went to A Single Pebble in Burlington, VT over a decade ago. I was blown away, as was my husband. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Atmosphere is what it is. It's a take out atmosphere. Love there chicken fingers, chicken fried rice, crab Rangoon and steak teriyaki. We've been ordering here for years and have never been disappointed.

This area is dry for really good American Chinese food. Main House absolutely provides!!!! Even better for me was they do have some gluten sensitive options (not listed, but if you ask they’re very helpful!). Family favorite-rice noodles! Can’t go wrong with anything though!

I do not know how they do it, but their chicken wings are double crunchy delicious! Absolutely a double order every time we stop be the Main House.

If you like Szechuan shredded beef you know it's not only difficult to find but also to have it prepared and cooked properly. The Main House nailed it! I'm thrilled to now have a local option when the craving hits! The beef teriyaki appetizer was also excellent. So tender it practically melts in your mouth.

One of my most consistent go-to locations. Fast, affordable, tasty. Scallion pancakes are killer! This place serves up meals like clockwork. 20 minutes flat almost every time I call in, rarely 25+ if they're absolutely slammed.

Portions for the combination dinners were large. All the food was really good; and the prices were relatively low for the area it's in. Only seating and tables for 2 parties of 4 each with more single seating for takeout. Cozy with friendly staff.

I stopped here the other day, expecting run of the mill, cheap Chinese take out. I was pleasantly surprised! When I got home, I took the lid off my wonton soup to find home-made wontons...so delicious. I had steak with mushrooms in a tasty garlic sauce accompanied by a lofty portion of fried rice & 3 crab rangoons ( which looked delicious but my nephew swooped them right up from under me). This order really served 2 people & was around $12. I can't wait to go back.

Had Takeout Just two appetizers Scallion Pancake and Jumbo Shrimp. They where excellent. The only problem was a language barrier in ordering. But was taken care of. Very Friendly will return when in area again.

The food is fresh and the staff is very nice. For the area and not a lot of options this place has good Chinese style food. Also viewing as an Americanized version of Chinese food....as real Asian cuisine is nothing like the fried dishes we know as "Chinese food". Take out and go.

Food was good - best egg rolls I've had since the Four Corners closed. Was disappointed to get home and be missing an item. Had to drive back to get it. Wish they were a full service restaurant.

Pretty much standard American-Chinese fare. Almost exclusively catering to the take out crowd. While they have a couple of tables inside, most people just do takeout.

Service is always quick. Food is pretty good for this area. I’ve had better but not so much locally. Dining area really isn’t even a dining area, it’s just a couple of small tables so I wouldn’t plan on eating here. You’re better off just taking it to go! Overall I’d recommend this place though!

With that being said…I got a large variety of items including: boneless spareribs, Crab Rangoon, shrimp with lobster sauce, Singapore noodles, fried rice, veggie lo mein, veggie chop suey, Szechuan chicken, etc! All items were pretty good but I think there was a lack of flavor in most dishes. I will def try them again! I did ask several other patrons what they thought of Main House food , they both said Maun Hiuse has good food and they have been there many times as a good reference !

I've been going to main house for many years. Prices have increase by 50%. I get there is inflation, but it's not at that level. My combination plate also had about half amount of chicken fingers as it did in the past. I can afford it but doesn't make it ok. Will try something else.

The food here not the best the other day. It's ok alittle dried out, other times it hasn't been to bad. Give it a try , everyone's taste is different.

Average take out Chinese food. Reasonable prices and they get orders correctly. I don't do delivery, so I can't comment on that. Food quality varies. I generally find appetizers to be good. The other food can be a bit hit and miss.

Chicken was also in huge chunks too big to eat with chopsticks. Spring rolls were too greasy and tough to bite; and no hot mustard was included. One and done for this kid!!

I called in a takeout order as follows "Combination dinner, sesame chicken, white rice, crab rangoon, spare ribs" the person taking my order giving a positive confirmation after each item indicating no issues over the phone. Even said "$14.82, 20 minutes" I show up to a $40 order. I said I ordered the combination dinner and she said yes but we don't have sesame chicken combination... So your solution is to swap my whole order to individual items without any notice? Why wouldn't you tell me that on the phone? This has to be the worst way to handle this situation. And no attempt to compromise when I brought up the mistake, just silence. With 3 people behind me I'm not going to stand there and argue and I don't want food to go to waste.

Not impressed. Saturday night meal. Chicken fingers were over cooked and meat was dry and chewy. In fact, Chicken Teriyaki, wings and the pan fried ravioli were all overdone. Mongolian beef was OK. Beef Terry was OK. Not likely to go again.

Ordered lomein, was given fried rice.

Beef lo mein had no beef in it and was dry. All the food is refried and they always get your order wrong. Save your money and don't go here.

Chicken wings were tough….. Shrimp with lobster sauce was made with hamburger which I have never seen that before the beef sticks were tough
