My favorite pancakes. Hands down. Cracker Barrel wins every single time! I've tried a lot of things on the menu but the grandmas sampler is the best. Did I mention that the pancakes are amazing? There's a cute little country store with candy, nick knacks, and gifts for family and friends. If I was a white man, I'm pretty sure this place would be my anthem 😂. I love it! Wait times can be long during peak hours so make sure to be patient. It's worth the wait! Servers are usually nice and friendly. Restrooms can use a deep cleaning, but the food makes up for it! 5 stars mang!
BONNIE ⭐️ five gold star excellent ⭐️ customer service delicious food great prices BONNIE LOVE LOVE ❤️ LOVE BONNIE ⭐️
Great food and the servicer was attentive. Gotta stay away from the candy though.
Great food and service provided by Ethan. Busy place, but all was good.
Alex did an amazing job serving a group of 8. The coffee and water was never ending, so we were satisfied with our drinks. The food was on point; served hot and delicious. The new decor is much brighter and welcoming.
Met my sister for lunch. Had fish today. Rainbiw youth and two sides. It was very good. Had Cole slaw and mash potatoes. They brought out biscuits and corn bread. Had ice tea.
Amazing food , service, and atmosphere, Will definitely be returning soon, 5 stars all the way
Matthew our waiter gave us excellent service. Very good waiter.
Have always come here for breakfast so decided to check out the dinner. We were impressed. I decided to go with the steak as a test and it came out perfectly cooked. The bread and muffins are a great tasty edition to your meal as well. The most shocking part….they now sale alcohol. According to my wife the strawberry mimosa was excellent The service was great from the entire team working.
The service was better than most places these days! The food was good, but the biscuits weee a little on the dry side, not too bad though it was a nice breakfast with friends and the serve time was excellent.
Had a great birthday dinner. Staff is always nice and friendly both at the store and in the restaurant. Amanda our server was very friendly. She made sure that we were taken well cared off. Freshened our drinks and came by often to ask if all was well or if we needed anything.. Great service Amanda! I recommend dining here.. Clean, friendly family atmosphere. We will definitely come back
I love the delicious food and the wonderful store full of beautiful items. Every time I go, I shop and shop!!! I not only leave with a full stomach, but I leave with full shopping bags!!!! Our server was friendly and helpful.
I enjoy dining at Cracker Barrel. I always receive friendly customer service, delicious food and I always find something beautiful to purchase in the store.
I can care less about the decor or logo. The food is still perfect and our families favorite.. we drive up 30 miles from our town to eat here
We were there a little late. There was plenty of space. Our waiter was very good. I will go back.
It was absolutely delicious!!! Talk about a huge portion! 2 big pieces of Chicken Fried Chicken w/ country white gravy, w/ mashed potatoes, corn and macaroni and cheese. Oh and I can't forget the buttermilk biscuits. Yummm!! Flavors were perfect! And I got to take leftovers home! Definitely the best I've ever tasted and I make really good Chicken Fried Chicken! This was by far the best!! 5 🌟
Food was served hot and everything was cooked perfectly. Server was friendly and helpful. Thank you Alex!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Was in Harlingen on a business trip. Stopped at Cracker barrel since I don't have one where I live. Had a hard time choosing from their extensive menu. But ended up with the maple glazed chicken breast it did not disappoint. It was superbly cooked and had a good flavor. Nacho was our waiter he was truly the best. On the spot super sweet and accommodating.
My husband ordered the campfire chicken skillet. He said the chicken was moist and tender, the meat was falling off of the bone, and the seasoning was perfect. I had the campfire beef skillet and although it only came with 2 small pieces of meat, it was very tender, moist and tasted delicious. Our waitress was great and I even got to meet the manager. He just happened to be helping check people out. He seemed like a cool guy. All in all a great visit and we will definitely visit again.
Most incredible food!! I love the gravy and biscuits. Also we had the most amazing waitress, Krystal. She really loves her job and did superb in taking care of us. I had the grandmas special, you can’t go wrong when something has grandmas name on it. I wish every experience at every restaurant was like today, thank you Cracker Barrel.
We love Cracker Barrel and the local people who served us. The floor manager Hadie was wonderful and made us feel right at home. Thanks to the whole crew.
Enjoyed lunch with family. crackel Barrel has a great selection of homestyle dishes. And I left with a beautiful pot, from the gift shop.
Always a pleasure to eat this establishment. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. You can't go wrong. If you enjoy good country style biscuits fixins and platters designed to fill your stomach. Then give it a try. I enjoyed the Country Boy here. Always leaves me full and happy. Place can accommodate small or large groups. Menu has plenty to choose from. There is also a place to shop if you'd prefer to do so. Staff is attentive and friendly
Everything was great. We enjoy going to Cracker Barrel from time to time. When there are apps lot of people there, which is pretty much always, then it gets a bit loud with everyone talking and all the commotion.
Food And dessert was great. Had a chicken plate with some good sides and the country fried steak with loaded mash, and bacon Mac And finished it off with a Coca-Cola chocolate cake to go. Our server, Madison was amazing very attentive And so kind. The atmosphere was nice and calm and the staff Were All smiles. I have no complaints. I only wish there was a sign or some reminder about tipping your server in the front. I paid For our meal in cash after looking around the shop and later realized, I had forgotten to leave a tip. I felt so bad when I saw my receipt later That Showed no tip. Our server was so nice and amazing. I figured the least I could do is make a good review about her. I don’t live near Harlingen so it wouldn’t make sense to drive all that way just to give her the tip she deserves. Overall great service and great food. 10/10 recommend!
Southern style cooking at its best. I still have yet to order something there I haven't enjoyed. I do tend to gravitate towards the fried 🍗 for lunch and dinner, and the pecan pancakes 🥞 which they serve with little bottles of warm mouth watering syrup. I do enjoy Southern style cooking is not your bag , you may want to pass. Honestly I love it.
A Delightful Dinner at Cracker Barrel We stopped by Cracker Barrel for a hearty dinner, and it exceeded our expectations in every way! My husband opted for the classic Steak n’ Eggs, He is on carnivore diet , perfectly grilled steak paired with sunny side eggs no crispy hashbrown he changed for another egg. It was a satisfying, no-fuss meal that hit all the right notes for a savory start to the day. I went for the Fried Turkey with a side of creamy mashed potatoes and gooey macaroni and cheese. The turkey was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and seasoned just right—not greasy at all, which is a win in my book. The mashed potatoes were smooth and buttery, while the mac and cheese brought that comforting, cheesy indulgence we all crave. Our server was an absolute gem—attentive without hovering, with a warm smile that made us feel right at home. The restaurant had that cozy, nostalgic vibe Cracker Barrel does so well, complete with the old-school country store charm. Prices were fair, portions generous, and we left stuffed and smiling. If you’re craving Southern comfort food with top-notch service, this spot is a must. Five stars all the way—we’ll be back soon!
Cracker Barrel in Harlingen never disappoints! The food is always hot, fresh, and full of that classic comfort flavor. The service is quick and friendly, and the cozy atmosphere makes it feel like home. Perfect spot for a hearty breakfast or relaxing family meal after a long day.
I occasionally stop here. When we do,its always a delight. Friendly staff and so much to look at from clothes to decorations and toys, house decor and candy. Not only for adults but ypu cam find something for any age. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry sets earrings, braclets, necklaces. You must leave with something from the shop. We always have breakfast when we go. I love the breakfast menu.
3pm eating out with My grandson. Waitress was courteous, pleasant n Helpful with our order. Comfortable with our window sitting request. Music can be less volume to hear myself relax, think, eat n visit. Coffee was superb. Like all day breakfast menu availability. I like new menu food baked half chicken with sides. I bought, battery operated clear plastic Nativity Scene. I Love gift shop variety of items. Thank you Cracker Barrel for fine dining family restaurant 😋 😍 👌
Hey there! I recently discovered this amazing breakfast spot in America, and I’m absolutely thrilled with it! The food was incredible, the decor was top-notch, the cleaning was spotless, and the atmosphere was incredibly comfortable. They even had a great store for gifts. If you’re looking for a breakfast experience like no other, you absolutely must check this place out!
The BEST! This is the best Cracker Barrel location I have ever been too! The food is always HOT & FRESH, the service is always excellent! My mom got the steak & eggs and she said they were amazing, I’m on a diet so I got the smoky grilled chicken and OMG…BEST GRILLED CHICKEN I’ve EVER had! It was juicy, PERFECTLY seasoned, I couldn’t believe it! I’m SO glad Cracker Barrel has healthy options like this that are full of flavor
Loved “Momma’s Breakfast!” We were seated almost immediately, and the waitress visited our table right away. After ordering, our food came out quite promptly. The eggs were perfectly over-easy and the pancakes light and fluffy. The cute little bottle of syrup was a nice touch too. I also enjoyed the Southern Fried Chicken special. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, and she appeared to be genuinely happy to serve us! We also enjoyed the gift shop with its many one-of-a-kind, old-school styled gifts: reissued vinyl albums by “The Who”, toys, clothes, hats, candy, games, and more. The price for our meals was more than reasonable. We had leftovers, and were given sturdy to-go boxes and a strong bag to carry them in. Thank you Cracker Barrel!

All great food at a fantastic price point. If you love breakfast, they serve it all day . Their pancakes with syrup and apple butter is very tasty.

Waiter was great..food was hot n correct. Mama breakfast was enough food. I will say I think they make a lot of dishes with each portion brought out on different plates but if it works keep it up. I assume that you get biscuits n cornbread as a norm but we had to ask and we got them right away. The hashbrown casserole was good too. And as always the store was old childhood things like old drinks and candy that's hard to hind these days. Store was clean.
It’s not Cracker Barrel anymore! Missing traditional foods which have been changed out for cocktails / alcohol. Dining room felt very sterile not inviting. It was obvious that they had “fake antiques” & recently printed posters to try to imitate what once was. The server was very nice but the manager was just defensive about their changes. We were there about 5:30pm and the restaurant was basically empty so I’m guessing that I’m not the only one who decided to not return!
The waitress brought coffee and gravy until the very end. Other than that the food was good and hot, we ordered the build your own plate and got pancakes, biscuits, chicken, and eggs. The chicken was delicious w the gravy.
Food is generally of consistent good quality although the veggie items are still loaded with bits of meat, (to excess). Annoying. I was a bit shocked to see that CB was using unwrapped straws. The server was attentive although she brought me the check and didn't ask if I wanted dessert or coffee. Getting in and out the door can sometimes be a challenge since CB has so much merchandise in their gift shop with a lot of gawkers pawing over everything with no intention of buying anything. I will come back but the place needs to look at some issues indicated herein.
Hadn't been there in a long time but enjoyed the food. Especially the corn bread.
That day the food wasn't what we expected; it was freezing cold, and the potatoes were really old. It was awful. The pancake I ordered looked like a ball of flour. It really wasn't worth what I paid.
First time going to this CB. Food was good and prices are very reasonable. Service was pretty good too. Personally, it was a little chaotic when it came to paying as there are no signs directing one where to make line so we were standing in a random area close to the register and no one direct us or told us that was not the line to pay for a while 😒, lol. In the end, we ended up asking other customers for guidance. The staff that was just standing there did not tell us or directed us. Again, it was pretty chaotic becuase the registers were super busy and lots of people. Post a VISIBLE sign to avoid this.
The customer service was outstanding considering how busy it was. The food was not so good. My order wasn't cooked to my request, and it was a tad cold as if it were sitting out for some time.
One of my favorite chain restaurants in Harlingen. Their light menu is tasty and satisfying with decent options, but I can also go there for comfort food. The buscuits and cornbread are so good. Sides are also great, this last time I tried the brussel sprouts and kale salad, which sounded like it was gonna be awful, but now it's one of my favs. The little store has some cool stuff, and I can usually find a last minute gift there.
My family and I visit this Cracker Barrel once every couple of months. The food has been better recently relative to when it first opened and we enjoy going here. The service is usually good, although they seem to have a high turnover rate so you never know. Anytime I've had an issue with my food, the manager has been quick to reconcile it. The store section is well stocked and has a good selection of seasonal merchandise. The bathrooms are kept clean as well.
One thing puzzled me while the waitress was taking my order. I asked her what the cost would be to change the type of sausage that was not offered in my breakfast order. She said I would need to look at the menu to find that out. This is something she should have offered to find out for me.
Grilled chicken salad is a big portion. Soup bowls are always great flavors and right temp. Kids tenderloins and mash was pretty decent for my 7 year old. Overall, food is good and the ambience there is nice for a family setting. Gift shop is always a must when going especially the candy section with kiddos.
On our visit 2-23 we we were not satisfied with the restaurant being too cold. It was a cold day and they did not provide heat to the dining room other than their fireplace.. We will not return on a cold day. Music was too loud.
The wait time was not bad, very brief to be exact. The staff were attentive, and expedient. The food came at an average amount of wait time. The food was hot, fresh and pretty good. My wife lo ed the Sheppard pie casserole. My chicken fried steak was below average, due to the actual patty being very flat, not crispy in any sense of the word fried. It was also bland, and theu forgot my gravy. The sausage gravy was very good. The biscuits were fresh, but the cornbread was cold, dry and kinda tough.
Man, they just can't seem to get the carryout correct. The last three carryout orders have been problematic. How about as much care as is put into the Dine In ? The servers are awesome Inhouse. The food is always good. Kitchen staff just do not seem to have the same love.
The food is the Best part of Cracker Barrel. I'm glad they kept their logo and the country store. But the remodel? You could have saved some money on that. It's supposed to have a country feel. NOT a modern, bright, dining area. I can go to any so called "modern restaurant" and get that. Now, Chilli's and Applebee's are more country dining that this place.
I liked the restaurant's aesthetic, and it was clean and well lit. The waiter took our orders as soon as we were ready, and it took around 10-15 minutes for us to get our food. The waiter was atten…

The wait was not bad for the weekend. The cashier and my waitress had great attitude and we're attentive. Horrible management experience and he(mgr) cared less what I gad to say. Glad the cashier listen when I gave kudos to dir his good attitude.
Food isnt as good as before. Our waitress didn't seem to happy to serve anyone. A roach was crawling up the wall. Other guests closer to that wall did advise a worker, cant remember what happened after that. I know food attracts bugs and such but restaurants are supposed to be clean at all times and it makes us wonder whats back there in the kitchen. Oh and before we'd always got cornbread and rolls before the food, now nothing. If servers supposed to ask, my waitress didn't ask.
The food was very good and the waitress was very attentive. I arrived at 8:15am and was very disappointed that the only person at the register did NOT greet me after I told her Good morning TWICE!! And when I went to pay for my breakfast she still didn’t greet me. It is rude for a hostess not to be friendly. This is the first time this has happened to me. Cracker Barrel in Harlingen Texas has always been my favorite but there are other restaurants that are friendlier in my area.
Cracker barrel has been a favorite of mine for a long time, untill today. My Old Times breakfast was served on a cold plate, which drained the warmth from my food. The bacon was way too salty, the over medium with no runny whites was under cooked (see photo) the hashbrown casserole had uncooked potatoes. Orange juice was on the bitter side. My husbands pancakes were thin and sausages were thin and on the cool side. No links available. The music was so loud that we couldn't talk without the other tables near us hearing.
I was very disappointed to see that our classical restaurant was modernized. I felt stripped away of many memories. I was also surprised to know that we couldn't get biscuits & cornbread unless we paid for it. I also missed not been able to play the peg game. What a bummer.
I should’ve sent my meal back my mashed potatoes and gravy and corn and I had a side of gravy was just barely warm. I would consider the side of gravy and nearly cold. I should have sent it back, but I Ate it the way it was. I was a little disappointed. Also, the waitress did not return to the table to ask how my meal was until it was nearly gone.
Harlingen, TX. Service is excellent. However, the breakfast food was warm and not hot whenit arrived at the table. Cold by the time we got to the end. The grits were very watery and not well cooked. Taste of food was good. Atmosphere was pleasant, however, the music was so loud that it was hard to have a conversation.
Server - Latoya I went with my family and honestly I was disappointed with the service. I asked for biscuits and when they arrived they were cold. I politely told the waitress and asked if I could get fresh ones. She said something along the lines of “I’ll get them whenever we have some” and her tone made me feel uncomfortable. After that I didn’t even feel comfortable asking her for anything else. She never came back to ask me for any refills so we ended up asking other servers for more coffee and juice. The food was fine, but the service definitely needs improvement.
So came in on a March 1st on a friday was craving their homestyle fried chicken and to my surprise it dont come with gravy, yet the country chicken fried chicken does hmm 🤔 it is the same concept and dish yet i'm like baffled with it. Well, here are the pics of chicken fried chicken plate and the southern fried chicken. Yet different prices.. I don't get it. But ok, the dish is good for the acception, no gravy🤦♀️ Came on a Sunday hoping to have my taste buds satisfied and yet it was a horrible experience now this is difficult some places have different meanings on how to cook eggs all I wanted was over easy eggs and I get that clear yucky makes me gross out some may like it but I don't I was specific with my meal yet they mess it up all the clear was on egg what I didn't want. They take it back, and funny it returns as if it was placed on stove and bring me the same plate back. Was not cooked I just didn't want to argue by this time rest of the meal was cold then I was eating upset it killed the taste and dissapointed on my plate to begin the presintation was horrible I ordered the old timers plate with 2 over medium eggs, 2 sausages, grits and biscuit with gravy and in my head I have this awesome presintation in reality 2 messed up eggs, dried sausage No biscuit apparently they bring it to you to your table with the corn bread. For that case, I should have ordered a side of gravy and made my own, but instead, idk what they are thinking. This was definitely not the plate I read. Then another lady said, "You don't like it? I'm like NO, but let it go. It's done. it messed my meal up. I just want to be done and out. They come and bring me 2 more eggs and still a mess. I'm like, forget it. They were dry. At this point, I wasn't hungry and lost my appetite it was just aweful. You all need a chart with pics so the customer can explain what is asked for and have pics in the kitchen so your cooks know what is wanted. Well, we came back after our horrible experience, and this time, it was on par. Our waitress was on top of things. My dish was awesome, was great & tasty delicious. I ordered the Saturday special pork chops omg highly recommend it very moist. My husband ordered the meatloaf plate , and the taste was ok. Only if it was hot was cold was a bit more dried than it should be. Mash potatoes were fresh and good, not from a box. The fried oakra was good, too. So this time it was better than last time. Was pretty busy, and I even took a pic of the updated menu with pics. Mine was just a plain Jane simple plate and got chaos. There is a pic here, so you all know exactly what and how the egg is cooked, the simplest item on the menu yet cooked and given wrong. Make your breakfast plates presentable nowhere near as description.

They didn't use to have the music so LOUD. It's so irritating. Not everyone listens to the country, then it's a radio with talking DJ. Maybe try some nice lower volume calmer piano music. I have gone to many cracker barrels for many decades. Great food always.Sept 2024, music is still so loud. It's unnecessary. Can't even hear each other spreak. Horrible atmosphere. I asked the waitress to ask if music could be turned down. Then a manager, i believe, that checked me out When I paid, i also brought to his attentiom. I hope they can do something about that. I won't return. Even in bathroom the music super loud. Can't even make a phone call in there.
Best Meatloaf! We also love the pancakes… It is just really frustrating when the service is horrible, thank you Jenyfer for the horrible experience at checkout! Good thing we got our favorite and attentive server, Alejandro than you!
The food was ok. My ham was nothing but gristle and looked like it was taken off someone else’s plate. The Door Dash driver had both the food container upside down in the plastic bag along with my gravy and grits. The lids were not properly placed on and so the grits and the gravy were all tossed out in the bottom of the bag leaving a heck of a mess. I didn’t get to eat my grits, my gravy and my biscuits, the eggs and the hashbrowns were messed up because they were also upside down. The bacon wasn’t crispy as per my request and it looked like somebody else’s leftover piece of ham was put on my plate. The coffee was a mess had coffee streaming all down the side of it did not receive the coffee cream I requested all in all this was a terrible experience. I will never do this again. Please see the picture below.
3 different breakfasts. The eggs were rubbery. Bacon had a weird flavor, couldn’t eat it. Sausage not eaten on two breakfasts due to taste. Very disappointed
Unfortunately our Breakfast experience was not enjoyable. The eggs were cold, all the meat was dry and overcooked, the biscuit gravy was ok, but not warm. However the Pecan pancakes were delicious. The restaurant was not extremely busy, but we waited a long time for our food. Our server was fabulous despite the food. Hope things improve or we wont be back.
If the service wasn't so good, this would be given a 1 star. I will brag on our server. She was excellent. The food...was terrible. Country fried steak was not good. Okra was soggy. My wife had chicken snd dumplings and that was worse than what I had. Cracker Barrel food has gone DOWN hill in the past few years.

Rude management. Could not answer questions on how food was cooked (pork allergy) nor ensure that the meats weren't cross contaminated. Literally shoo'ed me away when asked. Waiter was decent. Food that was served was below average. Update: We were charged for the plate I asked to be canceled. The meal was paid for to avoid any other interaction with management. Really disappointing as I was visiting and took my family out.
Had to send bacon back twice apparently they dont know what crispy bacon means. At end, waitress came back and said "this is the best we can do" i guess cook got upset. By the way, bacon was nasty. Coffee ok
Service was abysmal even though the restaurant was only about 15% full for dinner service. Ordered the sampler plate but was forced to eat the meatloaf and fried chicken breast because they were out of all the other choices. Meatloaf tasted old and had a lot of hard gristle bits in it. Inedible. The fried chicken breast and cole slaw was decent. My son also had the meatloaf and said it was horrible. The biscuits and cornbread were very obviously not fresh and were like hockey pucks. Will not be back.
I originally asked for the hot Nashville chicken, but was told it wasn’t available because the machine was down. I then decided on the chicken fried steak. When it was brought out, it had no gravy. I asked the server, and she mentioned that they no longer had gravy. It would have been nice to be told about this beforehand rather than after the food was already served.
We love Cracker Barrel but our experience at this location was horrible! We decided to eat there with a Family of 6. We signed in and lady assured us 20 min wait. We waited 40 mins and decided to check in and they said that previous lady did NOT sign us in! The lady has one Job, to write down our name on a paper. By the way they said we have to now wait 40 more mins since other folks arrived before us. That was their solution to something that could have been handled by just allowing us in the new list. Anyways now at Lubys Great Service with no wait time, now eating and sharing this experience.
My husband asked for a burger they messed it up and then took him the same burger but on a different plate. The manager apologized and said he would have them do it again but they never came back. They didn’t care they just said “oh don’t worry we didn’t change you for it”.
Horrible in Harlingen. 11-22. Food was cold and thrown into 3 bags with the plates on their side. Everything was a mess, no silverware and nobody offered to help me carry or even open the door with the multiple bags and drink carrier, but 3 people stopped me to challenge if they were my bags. Haven’t been to a CB in months and won’t be back. Cold food, plates on side and food all mixed, rude employees. Two of the plates went directly into the trash. Absolute waste of $60.00 Provided the information per your request at the guest relations link. Order was Order #: 39699836448735237
I purchased the holiday dinner . very disappointed. Not the usual cracker barrel fair.. not warm. Very small portions. Turkey was tough. Just not what you want.I will think about next year.
Visited on a Tuesday for the Country Fried Pork Chops and added the soup and salad. The soup of the day was Chicken n’ Dumplins which amounted to about a half cup of tepid greasy water with bits of pasta and chicken served with stale crackers, the salad dressing tasted like a watery milk concoction. The lunch plate consisted of two pieces of boneless pork welded together by the deep fryer which took some effort to separate on the dish, accompanied by small sides of broccoli and carrots. Disappointing.
My husband and I had not been back to Cracker Barrel for a while due to abad experience previously. This time was worse we were patient waited an hour before being seated although the wait was told 30 to 40 minutes. I understand that they are busy we got there at 11am. Once we were seated still waited about 15 more minutes to have a waiter come. No one did a party ofb4 was seated about that time. Unfortunately the waiter went to their table instead of ours and we left. My husban is not a patient person so having already waited over qhrand 15 minutes and then getting skipped well let's just say We will not be having any Cracker Barrel. Tried x3 to give them a shot and benefit of doubt but no still the same. Manager was told and stated she would help Unfortunately by then too late for us and more than anything I worried because hubby is diabetic. We'll you learn.
Ordered to go order today. Glad we did not dine in due to construction. Drove 3o min to pick up a Togo order from me and the wife. I try to check the order before I left but knew I had a 30 min drive to get back home and did not want to delay the food any longer. I got my meal complete & correct but of course they shorted my wife's sides and it is not worth the fuel and hour travel to pick up a side. Please take some time and double check the Togo orders as not all customers live 5 or 10 miles away and can jump in the car and make a trip to pick up what you forgot. I have had better luck with the arches place on to go order than I have here. Picture of her meal she ordered 3 sides got one
When we walked in it smelled like cigarettes. Which should've been our first warning. Our server was awful didnt check on us even once. And forgot about our food so the first time we got our food it was room temperature and old. We sent it back to be re-made and it came back slightly warmer but still cold. The manager was rude. The only good part was the little store infront had super sweet employees. Would not waste your money there.
Normally I love Cracker Barrel, but the one I visited tonight was awful, the pop tested like soap, the chicken and dumplings were so salty they where uneatable. A manager never came and talked to me after I sent all this back. My husband shared his food with me so I did get to eat.
I liked coming to Cracker Barrel, but the service isn’t the greatest lately. Servers giving you the tab right away makes you rush even when the restaurant isn’t even crowded. And what’s worse is that they don’t return to check if you need anything else. I love Cracker Barrel but I’ll definitely switch locations because definitely my last experiences here haven’t been great at all.
