I don't know how many years this place is open but it's been a decade or two? It just never disappoints. They're fajitas are great the steak salad taco shell is amazing. Breakfast tacos are filled nicely, meaty and delicious. They have a great green sauce. U have to ask for sauces. Line is long when it's popular dinner times but it's worth it.

2nd best 24 hr Texmex in Houston. I mean how many places can you get tacos & pancakes in the same spot? I love this place. It’s always a wait & customer service is a hit/miss but food is always 100/100

3/23/24 Went in drive though ordered nachos, 1 taco, and a margarita. The nachos were quite generous with cheese and incredibly savory. Its a lot of messy yummy nachos! Service was exemplary: she made sure I was getting the meal I wanted and was genuinely hoping I ordered what I wanted. The margaritas always hit the mark. Consistently good service at this location. They don't have a lot of business but they are damn good. Maybe they need to serve breakfast tacos for more business? Smh This place is great. GO TRY IT. Update: The chicken tortilla soup is ¡MUY RICO! If you want a hearty meal, the soup is worth trying.

I wanted tacos today for lunch ... so my girlfriend mentioned Chachos So I agreed.. so we went thru the drive thru and OMG ... one of the best Mexican food experiences I've had in a longtime the food was awesome I will definitely put this place on my radar for next time I need that Mexican food fix... At first I was disappointed because their dining hall was not open. I still ordered and I don’t regret it. I order the mushroom and spinach quesadilla and it was amazing. I would have love to try their red and green sauce but I didn’t ask for any 😔. Regardless it was really flavorful and I enjoyed my meal. The employee that I interested with was a gentleman and he assisted me very well. Their margarita was also delish!!! Try it out. 😋😋

Went to Texas for my first time and Chacho's was my first Texas restaurant. The Nachos were the best I've ever had, after one bite I immediately nutted in my pants. Yes they are orgasmically delicious

This place has one of the best margaritas I've ever tried. Nachos are great too. Great food, prices are also OK, the only thing that has some area of improvement is how you order your food as the process is quite slow. The place is clean and people is really friendly too.

I love Chacho’s. I used to go to the original location in San Antonio before moving to Houston, and I really enjoy this Westheimer location. The food is always fresh, never over-seasoned, and I find the service to be quick, accurate, and pleasant. And the salsa bar is amazing.

They only offer drive through for now (I think). Got some steak nachos and quesadilla. It smelt so good. Hubs and I just parked by the side and had it all. Yummmmm.l

Chacho’s is the 🐐, I just wish they would open up inside dining again! The inside has been closed since the pandemic started. Butttt those beef fajita tacos were HUUUGE and Delicious! There was about a 20 minute wait in the drive-thru but well worth it!

This place will forever be a Houston go to for Tex Mex. This is the Steak Taco Plate. When I tell you the only thing I added was sour cream and jalapeños when I got home believe me. This is a top tier meal made to order from an iconic restaurant that’s been around for many many years. Always A Great Experience dine in or for take out.

My wife and I dropped by Chacho's, it was late but they were open. We ordered one picadillo and one carne guisada gorditas plate. The food was finger lick good and the plate was very well served. Came to know that Chacho's just reopened two weeks ago and all three locations are open 24 hours, dining room and drive thru. Come and enjoy from their vast menu at any time of the day.

This Chachos is 24 HOURS Great Customer Service at 7pm DANTE is an amazing cashier/worker hes very positive and made our entire dinner comfortable. Definitely recommend this location.

Drinks are good. Very very casual so don't expect high end decision or ambiance. Prices are good considering the size of their portions. Two or three people can get full with the large nachos, I've never finished a burrito in one sitting. The outdoor sitting is something that I look forward to at this place. Oh, and the birds WILL eat your food if you leave It unattended. They will.

The option to dine in is currently not available apparently due to remodeling. Drive through is the only option currently. Food is still good regardless.

The lobby isn’t open so be ready to take your food home or eat in your car. Neither ideal being messy or ending in soggy food. Having checked reviews before we came as we hadn’t been here since we lived here wanted to check hours etc so we were prepared to eat in the car. Puffy tacos, 2 black & white nachos. This restaurant has been going downhill for at least 5 years. The inside dining has been closed since the pandemic and they show no signs of opening it even though it used to always be very busy and was a big draw. They never have enough staff anymore and the drive-thru service is not even good. The workers there act like they are inconvenienced by you and they get your order wrong a lot. Just went there today and I'm reminded why I haven't been in a really long time. My order was wrong, also the food quality has been declining as well even though it's still okay. My rice was crunchy today and I paid a couple bucks extra for the steakhouse beef but it didn't taste right. Tasted lower quality than in the past. They also mixed up my order.

Though their so called "large" size was looking more like a medium. The mile high nachos with beef fajitas are noted on the menu as their most sought after item. I generally order them everytime i come here and they haven't disappointed me before, but this time they weren't as good as the previous times. My guest had never been here and they agreed with my three star review. As we finished our meal the amount of dirty tables out numbered the amount of clean tables. Ok here’s the thing , i have a love / hate relationship with chachos . I’m in their drive thru about 3 out of 7 days for either breakfast or lunch . The food is always good and fresh . They give you plenty of food for your buck , and just about every thing on the menu tastes great ... Now here’s the downfall , they have the worst drive thru service in the history of drive thru! One thing you must always do is check your bag before you leave because it’s a 99.5% chance they’re going to have your order wrong ! IT NEVER FAILS! As you can see in my photo i paid for a chicken & guacamole salad , and as always they didn’t put the chicken! This is the most common issue with their drive thru service . I’ve wasted so much money not checking my bag before leaving . It’s too much of a hassle to drive back up there and have to wait in that long line each time . So again ALWAYS BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR BAG!

Update: Brought Houston visitors to this location on 7/3 @ 5:45p and the women's restroom was atrocious. Downgraded from 5 to 3 stars. Your first thought is "are the employees coming in HERE before cooking our food?" The restroom is reflective of your overall sanitation being a food establishment and no one want s to eat where the restrooms are nasty. It was slow when we arrived so there was time to check. Staff was mopping a section with old smelly mop water so we avoided those tables and the overall appearance of the tables were unkempt. Not the Chachos I know and quite embarrassing. I posted pics of the restroom to get Chachos attention. I know it gets busy but you must ALWAYS have someone tending to the restrooms and maybe invest in remodeling them. The Westheimer location has the better tasting meat than the location off 610. Not sure why the taste of the ground beef varies but overall great food and you get a lot for your money. Definitely try a margarita. I love the self serve salsa condiment bar and outdoor seating. My favorite late night taco spot!

It's a decent place to have meal. It's not really good, nor is pricey. Often times really messy. On big turn off is the way you serve yourself water which is out of container that often goes empty without being refill. This is mainly a drunk dive spot.

Grabbed a bite to eat, this was my third time coming to this restaurant. I ordered a half order steak quesadilla & margarita. It was decent per usual; I love the cilantro lime sauce. It's sooooooo good! The margarita was ok, $6.99 for the size they provide isn't worth it. If your looking for a quick snack better than taco bell this is it. The drive-thru has a line at times but moves quickly.

This place used to be busy like really busy on the weekends. Now it's just slow, dark and creepy. Now. The food quality has gone down drastically in the past couple years. All the vegetables I had did not taste fresh. I've frequent this location over the last few years but those lady Friday night it was the most horrible service ever. My order was skipped several times plus not how I ordered it. The condiments were empty and not getting refilled in a timely fashion. My friends food orders were all messed up as well. We waited over a hour to get hour correct order. When I placed my part of the order in the extra bag when I was dropped off, I realized the poor girl had left out my cilantro, limes, and salad dressing. While eating my taco salad, I encountered a large un cut. Unwashed piece of romaine lettuce. Funny coz the salad was iceberg. I'm a fat girl tho. I powered through. My friend could not. He found the same thing in his deconstructed burrito bowl. When I called the location, the manager was very short with me. I explained that I was already gone, that I didn't have time to bring the food back. I just wanted to let him be aware of the situation. And he hung up on me. Very unprofessional.

I recently visited Chacho’s Mexican Restaurant, and this was honestly one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve had. I wish I could rate this place a 0! From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, things already didn’t look right. The outside tables were dirty, with dishes and trash still sitting on them. It didn’t look like they had been cleared or wiped down at all. We were there for about an HOUR, and those same dishes were STILL sitting outside the entire time. No one came to clean them up. That alone says a lot about the level of attention and care being given to the restaurant. When we walked inside, it took about 20 minutes just to place our order. The line wasn’t even moving efficiently, and there didn’t seem to be any urgency from the staff. While waiting, we noticed that almost every single table inside was dirty. There were trays left behind, crumbs everywhere, spills on the tables, and trash that hadn’t been picked up. We had to look around just to find ONE table that was clean enough to sit at. After finally ordering, we were given a buzzer and told to wait for it to go off. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for our food. The problem? The buzzer didn’t even work. It never went off, so we had to keep getting up and checking on our order ourselves. The first time I politely asked, “How much longer for my food?” the blonde girl at the counter responded in a very slick and rude tone. Instead of simply answering the question, she kept going to get the manager. It felt completely unnecessary when all I wanted was a time update. After that, I could clearly see staff members talking amongst themselves about me, which was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. On top of the poor service, the cleanliness was very concerning. Staff members were wearing Crocs, food appeared to be touching ice and buckets, and the grills looked oddly placed and VERY dirty. The overall condition of the food prep area did not look sanitary at all. It honestly made me question how this location passes health inspections. Between the dirty outdoor area that stayed dirty the entire hour we were there, the unclean dining room, the long wait times, the broken buzzer, the rude interaction with staff, and the questionable food handling, this experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this location based on what we experienced. Management seriously needs to address both the cleanliness and customer service issues because this was not okay.

Drove from Katy to get a breakfast taco pulled up to order my order at 630am no answered me to take my order so I pulled up to windows where a lady comes to windows and told me they have a big order and can't make my order so I asked her u can't make me one breakfast taco she said no and closed the windows in my face. Now if she had better cs is probably already made or is making the type of taco I wanted im sure making my taco would have been about same time she took to talk to me to make my taco COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AVOID THIS PLACE FOR MORNING SERVICE THEY ARE UNDER STAFF AND CANT GET FOOD UNLESS U PLACE A BIG ORDER THAT MAKES THEM TELL EVERYONE ELSE THEY CANT PROVIDE FOOD FOR THEM

Says 24-hour drive-thru and dine-in. Absolutely false, the ladys was standing by the window talking. Doors were locked, the drive-thru blocked off and they weren't answering the phone. Why promote 24 hours if you aren't going to go by those hours. By the way, it was multiple cars trying to get food.

Last 3 times my family was there the guy taking the orders was speaking rude and being slow to annoy us. Don't go to this location, it's changed over the last few weeks and the quality of service is trash

My son and I went through the drive-through and I was happy to see that they were back open, but I was disappointed in the house fajitas. We were charged $22 for a pound, which was not a pound of fajitas and it was overly peppered, very limey and dry. We can’t even eat it so I just wasted $22 on nothing because I have to throw it in the trash. I’m a little disappointed but the tortillas were good, and the pinto beans were good. The service was not great. The woman was a little rude at the drive-through. I think if they just worked on these things they could do great.

If I can give them zero stars I would, we just went through the drive-through right now and been there for 20 minutes. The Sign sign says 24 hours and this restaurant has terrible customer service. We’re honking at the employees through the window. No one acknowledged us and I called numerous of times and nobody picked up the phone. I will never ever go back again terrible.

The woman with the large gums working the drive through was a nightmare to order from. After we paid she shut the window then came back and insisted we didnt pay and wouldn't give us our food. We showed her the proof of our debit card statement showing we paid chachos with time stamps ($60 worth of food by the way, a car full of people) the charge was not pending and had gone through. She said there was no manager, then she called someone amd said that they were the manager, we spoke with them on speaker phone, then they instructed her to give us our food (already made, sitting there) she was forced to give the food to us but kept yelling at us over and over "YOU NO PAY YOU NO PAY" then slammed the drive through window shut. I never had a bad experience at ChaChos before this, but beware of that lady if you decide to go here. She was unpleasant, unprofessional, and had no customer service skills. Also she didnt give us the chips with any of our meals (5 people). We waited over 15 minutes being yelled at to get our food.

False 24-hour advertisement. My crew and I came from a long overnight job and stopped here because they claim to be open 24 hours. The place was closed. One of the staff told us they would open at 6 AM, so we waited — only to be waved at from inside with no explanation. They didn’t open, didn’t communicate, and didn’t even step outside to let us know. The outside area also smells and clearly needs to be cleaned. That’s not how you treat customers, especially people coming off a long night of work. We ended up going across the street to Katz’s, where they actually welcomed us and treated us right.

This place looks like a dump! Parking lot always near empty except for employees parking. Windows are boarded up and those you can see into have boxes stacked up. EYESORE! You would not even believe they are open if not for cars going through the drive-thru! DO BETTER for the neighborhood and clean your mess up and bring it back to its original hey day!

1- the messed up my order and missed like half the tacos I ordered and didn't wanna give them to me and SHE TRIED to keep my receipt when I told her no it was my purchase.( all ladies where fighting in the back who to blame) 2-again messed up my order but at least they didn't charge me for them. 3 - they over charged me from the special time tacos mon-to -Friday 6am to 10am (charged me regular price) and is always the same cashier lady... tacos are good but the staff is TERRIBLE!.

It's Sunday 21st of September. At 7:45am I ordered some chicken tortilla soup through the drive-thru. Not feeling well & I do enjoy Chacho's soup. I can't say that today. I opened my soup & it wasn't delicious. No cheese & no chicken & tortilla strips on the side. Of course I called & no answered. The phone just rang & rang. I don't appreciate my food being incomplete & not right & definitely not anyone answering the phone. I'm upset & pissed off thinking I've got soup & all I received is unseasoned broth w/ cilantro & onions.

We usually get nachos from here and don’t have no complaints, but today I go there and got two med.nachos . The lady at the-drive thur had a nasty attitude When we arrived ! (If you don’t like your job find a new one! (SIMPLE) One nacho was good , but the other had tooth picks in there! Before I went there I called 4 times no one answered, so when I get there to tell them they had a tooth pick the lady at the driver the go say we don’t even use toothpicks. Okay so how it got in my food ? She talked to us like we were just trying to get free food , but then when they gave me a new one it’s bunch or beans and cheese!
