I was in town for the weekend and only had one day to hang out. My friend suggested this place on Sunday & we had a time! Watched final four game & had $50 bottle of Moët. I was so happy. Wasn’t hungry but while drinking I needed something light , they don’t have sides ti til 6pm though. Welp i settled for the collards and i was not disappointed!

The New Standard Bar is the place to be. I remember having a lot of fun at the old standard bar and the environment was always good, but this New Standard Bar is on Steroids in every level, service is amazing, the cocktails, the bartenders, security, barbacks, management and owners are very welcoming and are committed to give you the best Latin nightlife experience in the city of Houston. Did I mentioned the HUGE rooftop with an amazing view to the downtown buildings!! 😁😁 The music is definitely a vibe, Djs know how to get the party going. The new Standard is one entrance, 3 different parties as it has a dj inside one in the patio area and one in la terraza (Roof top) in other words every where you walk in the establishment you will be partying for sure 🕺 💃 The food is very flavorful 🌮🍤🍝🌯🥪 and the bartenders will fix you some nice drinks at an affordable price. Also very important at this new location there’s a lot more parking space than the old one and that’s definitely a plus 💪🏻💪🏻 Hope my review is helpful to everyone 😎

Due to my busy schedule, I don't get to go out often. I'm a local business owner and I pride myself on giving great customer service. Therefore, when I am out enjoying myself, I must have quality service. If you are looking for a place where you can, relax, have a good time and get great service then look no further than this place! Alisa was phenomenal! Alisa was courteous and knowledgeable. I enjoyed this drinks and did not feel overwhelmed or rushed. 10/10 I will return and bring some more friends and colleagues with me.

It was my first time here, let me just say.. i love the view and even a greater vibe! The bartender Crista was amazing, her service was exceptional, made me feel very welcome. Great view and a beautiful bartender. what more can you ask for? 10/10 recommend.

I love the new Standard bar location at 702 W Dallas St. First heard about this bar, trending on tik tok and omg, I love it! Amazing views from the rooftop, and it’s HUGE. We’ve always had a great experience when going. It’s definitely a place to visit if you want to enjoy the night!
