Cheddar’s is a fantastic spot for lunch! The food was delicious, and everything was served at lightning speed. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly our meals came out, especially during the lunch rush. The pricing is also a huge plus—great value without sacrificing quality. The atmosphere inside is warm, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing meal. It felt cozy but still vibrant, making it a great place to take a break during a busy day. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the positive experience. Everything from start to finish was smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

From start to finish, our experience at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen was fantastic! As soon as we sat down, they brought out their honey butter croissants—and wow, what a treat. They had a special flavor, slightly crunchy on the outside, melting in your mouth with that sweet honey butter—absolutely amazing. The portion size of the main plate was generous and satisfying. I loved that we got to choose our own sides, which made the meal feel even more customized. We also tried the Painkiller drink, and it was rich, tropical, and perfectly balanced—a must-try if you enjoy flavorful cocktails. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was warm, comfortable, and full of good vibes. Great food, great service, and an overall 5-star experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Solid choice for good food! The menu has a great variety of dishes, so it’s easy to find something that makes everyone happy. We order to-go pretty regularly and the service is always friendly and efficient. My only downside is that the order is rarely 100% complete, which is honestly a bummer. The good news is that if you check your order before leaving, the staff is always happy to quickly get you whatever is missing. It just stinks that you have to double-check in the first place. Overall, still a great spot for consistent food, good service, and an easy crowd-pleaser. Just be sure to check your orders for accuracy and completeness!

Had the meatloaf substituted one of the sides for a salad. Salad was brought out cold and crisp and the bowl was cold and big enough so you could mix it properly. Meatloaf was good It's normally served with brown gravy on top I got it on the side along with a loaded baked potato. The baked potato was hot and fluffy inside and had a crisp skin. The meatloaf was probably some of the moistest meatloaf I've ever eaten seem to have red yellow and green peppers throughout. And the outside I think was finished in a pan or under a broiler because it had a little crisp exterior. Ended up bringing one piece home. Overall it was good I sat at the bar.

Very disappointed I’ve ordered the salmon dinner. I stress NO blackened and broccoli not be over cooked. The manager got involved, but the first time he approached me he made me feel as if I was complaining for no reason at all. The second time he approached me he seemed a little bit more interested in how things turn out. He could see that I didn’t eat it , so how can I tell? I mean my food sit out here till he brought the broccoli back. What as I supposed to do with cold food. it’s just not my to do in cold

We had recently eaten at the Cheddars in the Colony near NFM. It was a pretty eye opening and good experience. We live a bit close to the Irving location and decided to try them today. Ordered two , weekday lunch specials from the menu after walking in. A bit after 2pm so the restaurant is pretty empty. nothing complicated (sandwiches ). Took right at 25 minutes to get our order out. The fries were stale/not fresh and the sandwiches were salty. Baked potato was nice. People were friendly if not attentive (I don't mean stellar service, just like did not seem to care it was taking so long for two lunch specials). Nice facility and was clean. Chain locations are not all the same. We will be trying the Cheddars in The Colony or others again but the Irving one was not great at all.

The honey butter croissants were delish 😋 Our server was okay, but we were dissapointed with our meal. Food was mediocre. I ordered the steak and shrimp. The shrimp was small, my steak was tough, and the broccoli, rice, and cheese casserole was terrible. Hubby said his chicken fried steak had too much breading and was chewy. I didn't even eat the steak. Even though the prices are great and we had 3 adult meals, 1 kids meal, 3 drinks, and an appetizer for $66.00, we will not be back. 👎

The only reason I gave two stars is because I have had previous experiences with cheddars that have been good. This time not so much. I ordered a medium sirloin steak and not only was it not medium, it was not a sirloin. It was nearly raw in the middle, and I believe it was a poor quality ribeye. The baked potato was okay but the broccoli was way overcooked. It's gonna be hard to get this one out of my memory.

The waitstaff were not attentive when we came in due to having a conversation. There was a black male (probably a lead/asst manager), I am not sure what his role was but he did not greet us but was friendly with everyone else including my girlfriend. We waited almost 20 minutes for a table after being told of a 10 minute wait. The restaurant was not busy. The server, Aaliyah was very friendly and welcoming at first. The only issue with her is that she didn’t check on our table every 5-10 minutes in case we needed anything else or to leave. Overall, I did not feel welcomed by the staff and they seemed distant and unfriendly.

I want to share a recent experience. A co-worker purchased lunch from this location, and after eating the chicken tenders and potatoes, multiple people became sick. This was very concerning for all of us. Please be mindful and choose restaurants carefully.”

Cheddars is not AT ALL what it used to be...... Let's start with the ribs.... Replaced because the first ones that were brought out looked like they had been left over from a while back.... Hard, very hard on the top..... I guess they figured they could cover it up with BBQ sauce. So my husband wanted them replaced..... I guess they brought out the other half of the tire they had left over because the replacement was about the same. The burgers were dry and the chicken tenders were not very tender..... Very hard, maybe refried again?? Cooking at home would of been better and at least it would of been fresh!!!! The only reason I gave 2 stars for the atmosphere is because of the nostalgia. At any rate....wont go back again!!!!! Money wasted!!!!!

Very upset after our last visit. We waited 20 min to get seated and once we were seated no one came to greet us or take our order. After about 20 min of waiting a manager came by asking if they had taken our order yet which we said no not yet. The manager said “ok I will be right back” … never came back. After about 30 min of waiting we finally gave up and decided to leave. I told the hostess at the front I wanted to file a complaint bc we waited for over 20 minutes and no one came to take our order. She told the manager behind her(this was another manager) I wanted to make a complaint. He was very kind and asked me where were we seated and said he would take care of us. At that point I was very irritated and upset to which I kindly declined his offer since I did not want to keep on waiting.

HERE ME OUT…..IMPORTANT…..If I could give Cheddars a negative 99 stars, I would. Yesterday I decided to go there for lunch. I ordered curbside, NEW Orleans pasta. I picked it up and headed to work to eat in the parking lot. (Mind you I’ve had this pasta before so that’s why I decided to get it again). Proceeded to open my food and eat only to realize it wasn’t like the other New Orleans pasta I had prior. It was HORRIBLE!!! After work I took it back and I ordered a replacement meal which was lemon pepper white fish and two other sides. It was great until I bit into a huge chard of SHARPE GLASS🤬🤬🤬🤬…from then on the rest was history. Immediately called Cheddars to let them know I needed a manager ASAP and that I was headed up there again for the third time. All hell was raised.I told the manager my 7 year old daughter was eating from my plate. Luckily I took the bite that had the glass and not my daughter. I proceeded to tell the managers I will be in touch with the BBB, food inspection, corporate and so forth….This place is despicable because this could ended very badly.

Order a Togo order, and honestly it’s horrible everytime. I order the bourbon 5oz salmon and shrimp. Got home and the salmon did not look like 5oz. Weighed it, and it was 3.17oz. Im just so annoyed because this cheddars continuously disappoints me with food, service, and atmosphere.
