One of our most favorite dining rooms on campus. There’s a great variety of food every day, so it never feels boring. The halal and kosher stations are a big plus and not something found in other dining halls. The vibe is always lively, and the space is big enough that even when it’s crowded, we can still find a nice spot to sit and enjoy our meal.

Hands down the best university dining hall I’ve ever experienced. Open to the public at $16 for adults and ~$7 for kids, it’s an absolute steal considering the quality and scale. The space is massive and beautifully designed, even equipped with a “Discovery Kitchen” for live courses and cooking demos. The food stations are incredibly diverse: halal, West Side Grill, East Side Market, North End Pizza and Pasta, salad bar, dessert bar, fruit bar, yogurt bar, ice cream (from Cornell Dairy!), and more. Even in summer break, with some stations closed, the options were overwhelming in the best way. Highlights: • The pizza was top notch – fresh from wood-fired ovens. • Blueberry and banana yogurt? Dreamy. • The grilled fish was surprisingly delicious. • Tater tots and salad bar were far above average – packed with thoughtful toppings like artichoke, chickpeas, beets, and tuna salad. • Desserts were solid; the brownie was rich, and we had fun making waffles ourselves. • The ice cream options, while not mind-blowing, are generous and fun to explore (and hey, it’s Cornell Dairy). If I were a student here, I’d never want to eat off-campus. Absolute envy.

Best dinning hall in US universities. Totally blown away by the quality and variety of the foods. I had the best pizza in America so far. There are red pizza, white pizza, all kinds of toppings, and the crust is made perfect, all freshly from the real fire oven. Price is also very reasonable. All foods are made to high quality restaurants standards.

Overall, one of the best dining halls on campus. Food quality is nearly as good as West Campus and the variety is solid. Breakfast is repetitive but in my opinion the best at Cornell. There is a lot of chicken for lunch and dinner, but the chicken dishes are pretty good. While the place often gets crowded, there's usually enough seating and the lines don't get too long. I wish there was less pork served (especially in the pasta), I wish that the customizable pasta station was open more, and I wish that they could hire more people and improve the dishroom operations to more consistently utilize reusable items. You can partially thank me for recent improvements in that last one, specifically involving separating your utensils into bins at the dish drop :)

Morrison Dining Hall is a brand new, modern, and huge area with a great variety of food - ranging from pastas & pizzas to breakfast omelettes and stir fry. The western omelette is delicious, as well as the blueberry & banana overnight oats.

Visiting my alma mater after 17 years, the meal with my family at Morrison Hall was truly moving. I was especially surprised to find that Dave, a staff member from Cornell Dining whom I used to see during my time at school, is still working there. The quality of the food was still excellent, and the prices were great as well. I’m proud of Cornell for maintaining such outstanding facilities.

Whenever I don't feel like cooking for the family, Morrison Dining is our go-to. Even though we aren't members (graduate student family), paying per visit is quite affordable, especially considering the vast variety of menu options. I appreciate the inclusion of halal food and the irresistible Cornell dairy ice cream! Fantastic spot!

Easily the best dining hall on campus. It's huge, and it's got a good variety of food. Apparently if you're eating here every day, it can get a little repetitive, but if you're just eating here a few times a semester as someone who doesn't live on North, then it's great. Pasta, pizza, salads, halal, Asian fusion... most of it surprisingly good. I wish they could hire more people so they could use washable plates and bowls though.

The food was really good. There is a variety of dishes ranging from salads to udons to pizzas. The pasta was especially good. It was cooked to order and the chefs are really skilled in making it. Six different options for ice cream and many cookie and bread selection for dessert. Overall the food was good and I would come here again.

My husband said Let me take you out for lunch and we went to Morrison dining. I was truly blown away that it was a college campus. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well as seeing all the chefs cooking and prepping the food right in front of you. All the different stations that you can choose from as well as the amazing prices. All you can eat for under $15 and all of the food is amazing in each station. I believe my only complaint would be I wish that the staff would smile more. Other than that I enjoyed the food and the company. Looking forward to returning 💗💞🙏🏾

My daughter works at Cornell University and we often meet her here for lunch or dinner. If you have any experience with university dining anywhere, this is the equivalent of a five star university dining hall . If you were on the Cornell campus, this is definitely worth a try.

A very nice dining hall, modern set up. Food is generally pretty good, but it does get repetitive cycling through the same stuff over and over-- there is quite a bit of pork in different capacities. Nice to have a number of options from pizza to the salad bar to desserts-- quite good dairy and ice cream options in particular.

One of the best dining halls at Cornell. Lots of options and the pizza is the best on campus.

As its newest dining hall, Morrison Dining is where Cornell showboats to community members - particularly on special occasions. It includes modern decor, but expect to traipse around the entire hall trying to find food to choose due to the confusing layout. Staffing shortages can result in inconsistent experiences, so visiting somewhere on Cornell's West campus can sometimes be a safer bet.

Toni Morrison has an extremely diverse spread of good--not great--food. You can find the specific offerings and times online, but otherwise can expect their usual stir-fry noodles, pizza/pasta, salad bar, something Asian-themed, something Western, continental offerings, and baked goods + ice cream for dessert. If you like variety, quantity, and value, this is the place for you. If you like strong flavors and exotic dishes, keep away. P.S. the Sunday Brunch is usually the besylt meal.

I was here ten years ago and then I let for a reason however this time when I came back the food is being decreased. They are not as good as they used to be. I remembered at time, Cornell dining were on the top ranking of the university dining’s . However, I mean this time it was even worse. They are not as good as the dining in the university of California or the university of Texas. Please pay attention to the our students. Either increase the choice of the food or change the price of the dinning’s! !Big red bears.
