Food was good quality and the tea is good. Whole restaurant was really quiet but it wasn’t awkward. Would eat again.
I live in Dallas and I always try to stop here on road trips. It's right off I-20 so it's a super quick pit stop. The food as amazing, they have the best smoked sausage I've ever had, and their brisket is on point as well. All it a much cheaper price than you can find in Dallas. The staff is amazingly nice, as well. I love the small town feel. They've got lots of sides too and cool desserts like fried pies and fruit pies. It puts other BBQ places to shame.
Good barbecue and great ribs just wish that the ribs had a little more meat on them at times
Very good food and nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. My husband was unsure what to choose and they made a suggestion of a "mailman" which was a chopped beef and hot link sandwich. He LOVED it. We will come back again for sure!
Fantastic authentic Texas BBQ and great value.
I usually get iced or chopped beef but was wanting something a little more figure friendly. I ordered smoked ham and MAN was it good! I very much enjoy the beef, but I don't know when I'll get it again. My kudos to all the staff, always eager to make sure you're happy.
Always love to stop and get a meal. Have tried pretty much everything on the menu and it's very delicious. Highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for great Texas style BBQ. ☆Update: I drive a big truck and been stopping here since there was more than enough space to park. But now when I went by today a pipe fence was put up. It made it a smaller parking area for a big truck. This place was a great place for a truck driver to get a decent meal. Now us truckers are going to have to find another place 😒 What a disappointment since the BBQ is so delicious.
First time we stopped there was on a business trip and we saw a sign and stopped in to eat. A year later we decided to take a trip that passed by there and so we made plans to stop due to the fact the inner atmosphere and of course the BBQ is outstanding!! I recommend that if your passing through to make that a primary stop to eat. And the desserts if you have room left from the meal is excellent. I recommend the pecan pie. I know that any trip going by that direction will be a definite mandated stop to have lunch or dinner.
I like the homie vibe. You go through a line get really good BBQ and then no one bothers you till you ask for something. Sweet and southern the way it needs to be
1st time driving through east Texas stopped in long view, best brisket, ribs pecan pie. We ate the special there which was a chopped beef sandwich and a side, mac and cheese 🧀, ordered another sliced beef to go, and a slab of ribs. Definitely a good meal.
Great food and great service will have to remember this place in my travels. Ribs were tender and very flavorful no sauce needed for them but a great addition. The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and equal quality. Chilli beans were great and potato salad was wonderful. Keep up the great work. I will be back and will recommend
As we entered, we were greeted with a smile and a big welcome. They had so many choices, we were undecided but chose the ribs, links, a good ole' sloppy beef, Mac n cheese, green beans and pecan pie!! The food was hot, and ribs were tender and all delicious! I would've liked less barbecue sauce mixed on the sloppy beef. It was a little overbearing. LOVED IT!!
The food was awesome. I had the 2 meat combo plate with Brisket & Pork. The beans & potato salad were awesome also. We opted for the peppers onions & pickles which just only made it that much more AWESOME. I stop in every time I'm through there & I've never been disappointed.
Stopped here on the way to back SC and was glad we did. The brisket, smoked turkey and pulled pork were excellent, some of the best I've had anywhere. When traveling I always look barbecue joints. You won't be disappointed at Bodacious.
We needed a place near Gladewater to have a family lunch where we could all sit together after my mother’s funeral. Bodacious had a banquet room we could use after going through the line. So it was quick, gave us the privacy we needed, and the BBQ was great. All the staff were friendly and accommodating.
I'd noticed this place several times, as I was passing thru on my truck route. I finally stopped in and Oh Wow was it worth it. I ordered ribs, sliced beef, potato salad and baked beans. Absolutely everything was delicious. The meat was tender and juicy and the sides were seasoned great. I couldn't be happier. I'll definitely be back.
Here in Kilgore for family Emergency. But my first time eating here. Really good BBQ, ordered Boudin, sausage, brisket, potato salad, green beans, pinto beans with brisket and Coconut cream pie. It was very good, very tender and juicy. It did not disappoint. The service was good, very friend, fast and nice atmosphere. Batbrooms are clean, over a good place. I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend, this establishment.
Very good and consistent food, spacious restaurant.
Absolutely amazing service, very welcoming and hospitable. The food was very delicious and full of flavor, the brisket practically melted in my mouth. Definitely will go back for more!
Thank you staff for your patient! I called at 1915p they waited for me to arrive and werw patient while i picked my choices. Short walk from the TA express truck stop on the other side of the highway. Grabbed a slab of ribs, potato salad and green beans. Its about to GO DOWN FOR REAL😃😃
Absolutely the BEST BBQ in Texas. Bodacious Sauce is ridiculously good.
Always a nice quiet stop when we are traveling to see family. Food is wonderful. My favorite is their smoked turkey tho it is all amazing. We have been stopping at different locations for years. When my boys were still little kids( now 24 and 32), they always wanted one of their favorites, the smoked cheese rounds. My husband loves their beans. The sloppy Joe special is a favorite as well. Staff is always friendly and helpful and the restrooms,( and the rest of the place) are spotless.
Son and DIL traveling through to Dallas wanted to eat here and it was a very good pick. The food was delicious. And the employees were nice and courteous.
I don't think this Bodacious location gets the love it deserves. The bbq is always very good! The restaurant is clean and tidy. The staff is always super friendly and engaging. This location also has very tasty gumbo! From a quick meal, to a catered meeting or training class for your employees Kilgore Bodacious is always on point!!
Best bbq in town. We travel from Arizona to Florida and we stop at Bodacious on our way to Florida and when we're coming back to Arizona. They have several locations and we've neatened at all of them.
Get the melman sandwich! It's a chopped beef sandwich with a hot link in it. Delicious! The people here are awesome and they are able to deal with huge rushes really well. The food is consistently great. I have had better, BUT not for their price point.
Food is very good. Daily specials. TUESDAY SMOKED CHICKEN IS OUR FAVORITE. Lady at Drive-thru could smile more.
Best BBQ in East Texas! I grew up eating here & always grab a meal when I’m back in Texas to visit my parents. 😋
Bodacious has excellent barbecue, friendly, down to earth service, and always a warm atmosphere. I consistently have a good experience at whichever Bodacious location I eat.
On the way out of Texas on Interstate 10 and wanted 1 more taste of Texas BBQ. Right off the exit on of I-20. Staff was helpful and friendly. I asked and they said they were known for -- brisket and ribs -- so that is what I had. Food was great and more than what I could eat. A true Texas BBQ experience.
I'm a truck driver and I just went in, sat and ate. The food was delicious and the customer service was A1. I was not asked to leave a certain amount for a tip, and ordered the ribs. They were absolutely wonderful, with and without the sauce!! The sides were absolutely delicious and when I come back to the area, I know exactly where I'm having dinner! I pulled in with my truck and I respected their lot because no one wants to have to pay for another man's mistakes and negligence. I appreciate the good business and great food!!
Big lot next to the restaurant that I pulled my rig into, came in at 1900 they close at 1930, but they never seemed to rush me. I placed my order to go which was chopped beef, green beans, mac and cheese, and pecan pie.The meat was perfect, and the BBQ sauce was awesome. I got both regular and spicy. Mac and cheese was ok but the green beans, oh my , could have closed my eyes and would have thought momma made them. The pie was delicious. This will definitely be added to my favorites List on I 20. Keep it bodacious.
I don't know how they do it, but the turkey LITERALLY melts in your mouth! And it's amazingly delicious! Ditto on the pork. Their sauce is pretty good, although not the best I've ever had. (If you don't like vinegar you won't like their sauce.) They advertise RV parking - should say something about trucks being welcome. If truck drivers know the parking lot has room for their rigs, they will stop! (I've been on the road for a few years with my guy and a BBQ place with truck parking is pretty much a guaranteed stop for us!) Love the easy access, right off the highway. We will definitely be back! YUM!
We popped in to pick up a to-go order. Fast, friendly and the food is fabulous!!! Can't wait to go back!
Passing through, food is delicious, staff friendly but direct(we need more direct) Will definitely be stopping by again next work trip..
Well, we unfortunately missed getting to go to this restaurant We pulled up, and they were closed So we went to the next place on the map - it was meant to be. It was right down the road, a little hole in the wall place that was absolutely incredible Please. Look at my review And then please make your own review of both places and let me know if we should go back to Bodacious next time we're in town From alabama
As a World Traveler Texas Bar-B-Q is probably my favorite cuisine and Bodacious is a must for any connoisseur. All their meats are good but I enjoy their pork ribs and usually get a few racks to go. This has my favorite sides and desserts in Texas. Get the CHILI! Meat can be a side of meat!! Also try the Coconut Cream Pie! Right along the highway by gas stations. Make it a planned stop!
It's a great place it's almost as good as the one in Henderson! Henderson I give a 100 this one in Kilgore I give 99.99
Hard to find if you use Google maps. Its right at the corner of 20 and 42. Not on the Dunkin side.... large black metal building. Nice upgrade. Great staff.
Very tasty BBQ directly off the highway. I highly suggest their homemade gumbo as a side dish. It was extremely flavorful, something you wouldn't expect at a BBQ restaurant. The ribs were flavorful as well, with a nice sweet and smokey taste. Service was spot on, they were very friendly to me and engaged me with conversation.
This is the best bbq on l-20 l have eaten i drive this stretch from Shreveport to new Mexico 3 times a year and eat nuthing but bbq and texmex and there brisket wow sausage was good coleslaw best i had in a while i only have 2 thumbs but i give 4 thumbs up
Food Fantastic.... service so fast & impeccably awesome. I live in Shreveport. On the way home from Dallas I had to Stop. I was not Disappointed
Cool place, has a really down home backwoods feel to it. I wanted chicken, but they were out. I ended up getting a chopped Brisket sandwich and it was great, with a side of fresh tangy coleslaw. Staff was friendly.
They had very good brisket and sloppy joes. They didn’t have any pork available. The lemonade and desserts were too sweet. The employees were very nice. Overall I should rate it a three but my brisket was very good.
My boys and I enjoyed the BBQ. Prices were reasonable for BBQ, and the portion sizes were good. The Sloppy Jo seems to be the best deal, and was really good. More of a mixed BBQ sandwich than a traditional one.
This is part of the East Texas barbecue chain, as with the other restaurants in their group, the food is excellent and the service is good. You place an order at the counter in its assembly line method, you pay when you receive your food. At most of these locations particularly during the day the owner Is present and takes care of all the details. The value of the meal for the price is , and I will be back I have been to this location and on several times. Just a heads up, you can have a bit of a wait right at the lunch hour and at the peak of the dinner hour common so plan ahead. Big groups are generally no problem they can put several tables together and seat a dozen people easily
We were passing through and wanted some TX BBQ...this place was easy access from the highway. I really enjoyed the smoked turkey and the warm sauce. Not a fan of the sides, neither the potato salad nor the slaw. The sausage was okay, not special or unique. The brisket was good according to my buddy. Overall glad we stopped but TX BBQ does have better.
Really enjoyed the place food and people. I walked over from the TA. It’s a tough walk because no shoulder or side walk over the bridge, but I got ribs, beans and sliced turkey to bring on the truck for the week. Excellent! Thanks
Food was very good. The brisket was tender, and the turkey was juicy and my favorite. Both meats were very good. The sauce had a good flavor. We liked the potato salad and green beans. The pinto beans were delicious but, we weren't thrilled with the mac and cheese. The atmosphere is very casual, laid back and family friendly. We would definitely eat there again.
Average, served warm. Nothing served hot. Good menu. Good location. Better restaurant than other location.
You have to make sure you go to the right Bodacious in East Texas - The one in Kilgore off I-20 the White Oak exist is the best. Try the Smoked Boudain and Gumbo for those that like Louisiana flavor. And there smoked ribs and chopped beef will have you wanting more. They have the onions, jalapenos, and Pickles where you get as much as you want. And it's inexpensive. Plenty of seating and parking
Traveling through and this location is awesome for a quick stop as it’s right off the highway. The parking is great for trucks and trailers. Inside is roomy with plenty of tables. Employees were friendly and helpful. We ordered a little of everything. Brisket was ok as it was pretty dry. The Turkey was great!! The ribs were awesome, they have a little bite and are perfectly caramelized. Jalapeño cheese sausage was pretty good. For sides we tried the Mac and cheese which was delicious. The Gumbo was awesome!!!!! The potato salad was ok just a little different. Prices were not bad. If we tried Bodacious again we would probably try a different location.
Stopped on the way out of Texas for a quick lunch. Place had a good vibe. They have a simple menu but its all done well. I had the ribs and they were really tasty. Had to take brisket sandwiches for the road with thier very good BBQ sauce. I recommend you stop there for simple, authentic Texas Bbq
Good brisket. Ribs were a little tough and dry. Portions were very generous. Fried pie was good flavor but old and couldn't chew the crust. Had not been to this store for 30 years and was disappointed that the quaint original restaurant was gone. The new building is not as inviting as the original one was. Trash littered the grounds outside. If I'm passing by I might stop again, but won't make a special trip like I did this time. Disappointed.
Food was very good. However, they need to work on their cashiers attitude. We came in on Sunday afternoon and had several in our party purchasing food and we came to check out she told me to “hurry up or it will time out.” That’s being so customer friendly! Just saying folks that’s not how you treat your paying customers.
It's hard to rate this one. Tyler and Kilgore not so much their food has really gone down hill. But then you go eat lunch at the bodacious in Tatum And it's absolutely mind blowing. I know each of these locations have different owners. And they run them different ways but you guys should really take some notes from your Tatum location. Tatum 5 stars.
I’m a type 1 diabetic, I came in with a low blood sugar and a bit light headed. The lady taking orders was amazing and offered me a coke immediately to help out that’s why I’m giving 3 stars because other than that the ribs were really dry and flavorless also the Mac and cheese wasn’t too bad just a bit too mushy . I probably wouldn’t eat here again because I thought Texas had the best bbq but this place didn’t live up to that but thank god for the lady taking orders she made it worth the visit
If it's okay I don't necessarily have any complaints about the food but the service there's something to be worked on last time I came in it was 7:00 p.m. and the lady at the register with steadily talking about what time it was like she was insinuating I needed to leave that kind of pissed me off I can remember that happened at least two times so would I be back not necessarily unless I'm just in the mood for some barbecue and I have nowhere else to eat
Well I was goin to stop but after reading reviews on dry meat and overpriced I'm keep goin. I guess the owner only pay attention to very little good reviews they have
We spent $35 on barely a pound of meat and 4 small sides. The brisket was completely flavourless- I was not impressed at all. The ribs and sausage were good. The green beans were fantastic.
Like my brisket to be less lean - fat is where the flavor’s at! - but that personal preference I guess. I had 2 meat plate, brisket was just ok, ribs were better.
The food tasted good, but they were out of pulled pork and root beer. The buns were a bit dry and hard. The employees were kind and helpful, but not necessarily in a hurry (one was on the phone).
One of the things I really look forward to when I come into town is Bodacious, and usually get a good bit to take back to TN with me. However, this time I did not. We got an assortment of meats and everything but the sausage was too dry and didn't have its usual flavor. Very disappointing, especially for the prices they charge. I usually don't mind the cost because of the quality but this time I did.
I bought 3 plates of sliced brisket and asked for moist not fatty. What we got were slices of brisket with a large fat pad on the top, but they were tough and dry. For the money it's not worth it... p0
Nice big clean place good prices. Service was “I have a job but I don’t really like my job” attitude. Brisket was flavorless. Sausage was bland and had a weird texture. Mac n cheese I could’ve made better from a box. Sauce and green beans were really good.
The BBQ was pretty good. Not great for TX standards but still pretty good. Their sides over shadow the mains. Their potato salad and and pintos we're great. The smoked sausage was decent. The place was pretty empty when I went. That didn't make the process of getting my food any quicker. But the real kicker is how unfriendly and rude everyone working there was. The only exception was the guy chopping the meat. He wasn't unfriendly, just very matter-of-fact. But every time I asked a question about something they seemed annoyed I was even there. People in Longview are generally very nice and personable. This place just must be where the sour people go to work.
Stopped in for lunch but decided not to stay because I stopped in the restrooms first and was thoroughly grossed out. They were in total disrepair. If the employees in the kitchen are forced to use restrooms like that, I'm not interested in the food! No wonder the place was vacant and quiet. Charging prices like that, you would think they would have enough money and pride in their establishment to fix restroom fixtures....
I have always loved this place. Yesterday I had waited all week for a chopped beef sandwich from there I was was extremely disappointed. It was so greasy that by the time I got home (10 minutes) grease had totally soaked through both buns. I could not believe this as I've never gotten a sandwich like this before and I've eaten there for YEARS. I tried to eat it but the grease outweighed the taste even with lots of sauce on it. The potato salad had no taste and some of the potato pieces barely had anything on them - not sure if it wasn't mixed well or they were just skimping on the ingredients. I've always loved their potato salad over any other that I get out. At $9.50 for a sandwich it will be a LONG time before I enter those doors again. They need to trim more of the fat off and give a premium sandwich for the prices they are charging - not a grease soaked one. I wish I had taken photos of it but it would have probably made you sick to look at it. It was totally disgusting.
I'm just going to be nice and say that the best thing on the plate was the green beans. I won't be back
My family and I visited this place about a year ago and were unimpressed with the quality of service. We had some friends in from out of town and decided to give it another try. Upon entering this establishment that we're unfamiliar with we were inquiring about how to order and what kind of food they have. The help was very rude to my friends and rudely told them to look at the board on the wall without offering any help or suggesting what they thought was good!! For how much money we were charged to eat this bbq I would expect to see some smiling faces, or at least fake like you're glad we're eating at your restaurant. The food is okay, but in my opinion over priced. I would suggest that you show some appreciation to your customers when they come in to spend their hard earned money. That's probably why this place was practically empty when we were there. I will not be eating at your restaurant anymore. I will take my business somewhere where I'm appreciated!!
Unfortunately, our visit to this barbecue joint was a disappointing experience that did not live up to its past reputation. The restaurant was nearly empty, a bad sign that should have been heeded immediately. The brisket was the first letdown. It was served lukewarm and had a very faint, almost non-existent smoke ring. The lack of a proper smoke ring suggests it was cooked too quickly without the long, slow process that gives great barbecue its depth of flavor. The ribs were a slight improvement. The meat did fall off the bone, but the flavor was just okay. The sauce lacked any real punch, leaving the overall experience feeling mediocre at best. While they were above average, they were far from remarkable. We chose to skip the sausage entirely after learning it wasn't made in-house, which felt like a missed opportunity to showcase genuine barbecue craftsmanship. Given the mediocre food and the restaurant's desolate state, I would not recommend returning to this establishment. It's a sad example of a once-great place that has lost its way.
Still just so-so...sliced brisket dry, chopped fairly good. Beans still have chili powder in them. Cole slaw is only chopped cabbage with watery dressing. Update 3/4/18: Still not my favorite place but Hubby loves it. Discovered off-menu item called "Mailman sandwich," mixed chopped brisket and hot link sausage. (see pic) Tasty but a bit too spicy for my liking. Didn't taste any real cheese in mac&chz. Update 11/4/2021: Moving down from 3 stars to 2. It would be 1, but Hubby still loves it. I'm fully aware of the difficulties of the last year, but this place is pathetic. The portions have gone down and the prices up. Absolutely no improvement in the food. They could reduce the amount of meat on the smaller buns they're now using and reduce the price, too. Smoked sausage not cut into thin rounds but into quartered lengths, making it very tough to chew. Dismal atmosphere. Dining room now open, but still using paper packets of salt & pepper. However, it's ok for customers to touch the tongs, sauce bottles, and soft drink machines. Chopped beef is still the best thing on their (not there) menu. People hEAR with their EARS. Update 8/13/22: Still 2 stars because Hubby still loves it. Atmosphere still dismal and dingy. Still paper pkts of s&p. They desperately need Robert Irvine to revamp the dining room and menu. Overheard the meat cutter tell a woman that they had run out of baked potatoes. Sliced onion insert was empty, too. Wonder how they'll make tomorrow's potato salad without those. I'd never go there again except for the Hubby. Hardly any business at 5:00 on a Saturday evening with the Cowboys' first preseason game coming up at 8:00. What a shame! 🥺 5/28/23 Sunday lunch Ditto...no better, no worse. 9/30/23 Saturday, 5:30pm Nine people in dining room, including us. They partially remodeled the place and eliminated truck parking, but it's still dingy and drab inside. Chopped brisket is still the only thing worth eating, but the prices went up.
Guy with the electric knife (red flag) cut all the bark off the brisket. (Note to Mr Electric Knife Guy: the bark is the best part of BBQ. Serve that to your customers.) I even asked for marbled brisket. It wasn’t like I was going to be offended by a little fat under the bark. The sauce had to be 90% ketchup. The mac and cheese kinda scared me when I tasted it. I don’t know what it tasted like, but it wasn’t good. I thought I remembered another location of this same restaurant as being good, but this location was really bad. They also need a sign on the building. There is a sign out by the highway, but the store looks like a vacant metal building… until you get up close to the front door and see the door mat with their name on it. 1/5 for the food. BBQ like this shouldn’t be served in Texas. It’s disgraceful. This is probably what people from Ohio or somewhere like that think is good BBQ. I’ll be driving right by this place next time.
Brisket extremely dry, mac and cheese like mush, everything pretty bland.
Very dry meats. Service is not that good.@
Paid for a double meat meal, wasn't enough meat for the price. I also purchased a brisket sandwich. I should've just purchased two sandwiches. The barbecue was okay.Nothing bodacious about it!!!!
I stopped in to eat lunch , ordered a brisket sandwich and bag of chips, , you can see them fix your meal in front of you. sat down to eat and noticed the buns were stale, so I went back up and asked if I could get sum fresh buns because these are stale. you lady said they were fresh , but after talking to few employees she gave me sum more buns, sat down to eat again, these buns were stale too , so I asked just for sluced bread, and they argued with me , and focused to get me any , so I sat down again to proceed to eat. after bout 3 bites into sandwich, sum tall lanky dude came up to me and asked me what the problem was , so explained bout the buns, he started hollering at me saying the buns are fresh everyday..I told him to fell the buns to see for himself..we had a few words and he liked me out the restaurant..the worst experience ever, I been stopping there for years , but I NEVER will again..CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT SUCKS.. foid was allways goid til I had stale buns..
The place was empty, should have been a clue! We're from Washington State and I have to say it was the worst BBQ we've ever had. We both had a 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs, even the bread was just 2 pieces of cold dry bread. Do not recommend
Ate there 4 days ago. Wife had ribs, me chopped beef sandwich. The ribs DID taste like the inside of an old stovepipe. I am convinced the chopped beef was cooked in an oven. I suspect it all came off a food truck. The ribs were slapped out in a little cardboard carton, sides in tiny plastic cups, plastic forks------total cost abt $35 and they suggested a 25% tip-----FOR WHAT!!!! The place was nearly empty. It's dying.
Not sure what happened to the old bodacious but definitely need to go to the one on Mobberly. The food was less than par. The brisket was dry and the sausage had zero flavor. I guess I'm used to real Texas barbecue here in South Texas.
Worst Bodacious BBQ I ever ate at. Barbecue sauce trash potato salad trash. No thank you know how you doing no nothing shoved me right out the door. Needless to say I damn sure won't be back.
Save your money. Drive the extra distance to Tyler and go to Stanley’s BBQ instead. The chopped beef baked potato had no flavour at all. The toppings are given to you in pre-packed containers and are cold so they just make your potato cold where most places at least melt the cheese on top. The atmosphere is straight up depressing - no music, drab old decor, and literally no one in there other than a man and 2 miserable looking kids doing a Bible study in the corner. When a BBQ place is so dead and quiet you can do a Bible study there’s something wrong. I was excited to get one last taste of Texas BBQ before heading back to the UK and sadly left extremely disappointed. It’s pretty bad when Brits in London can make better barbecue than Texans at Bodacious.
Everything was great until the time to check out came. The cashier by the name Sierra C walked away from the cash register, so I waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited so I decided to ask her if she can help me. She told me wait again at because she wants to count the straw.Hungry and also had 9 hour drive ahead of me. So I waited again, waited again until one of the ladies (server) came and told her that she need cash me out and also the language she was using was inappropriate for the business so because of that I have to give 1 star instead of 4 🌟. I enjoyed the food. Great prices . Management need to watch out , this younger woman can slowly drive away your guests.
Just wasn't what it use to be. With the big beautiful place they built. They seem to adding to much to a simple old recipe. Me and the wife didn't care for the Tater Salad. Beans tasted like Bush beans with brisket added. Just wasn't the same.
I use to stop by some time ago as a truck driver. It's sad to hear that they no longer respect the truck drivers business. Last time I picked up some ribs to go. Drove down the road an decided to grab a rib. Nastious thing I ever tasted. The taste I can best to describe it as, it tastes like the inside of a stove pipe smells. Poured the BBQ sauce on it, did no good at all. Will never return there ever again. Definitely was over priced for what I got. It's very sad overall. I'm sorry you found my review of being a truck driver was not what you expected. But today's truck driver I would not want in my place either. That kind of business I would not want. Let's see review I wrote, was about the taste of the ribs that I picked up. They taste like the inside of a stove pipe smells. Even with sauce on it.
They are very rude I asked what the price of their brisket was and the girl behind the counter said our menu is on the wall. I said no wonder they are all closing down. Rude customer service and very over price. The meat of one brisket was not even being cut right. I know this cause I am a Chef and Specialist in BBQ. Go elsewhere please. Their sign is not even up. Tells you a lot
