Even at lunchtime, the service was 👌. The food was hot and drinks didn't taste all bad. Window lady was amazing 👏

This place tasted awesome, the lady at the register, I think her name was Rosetta but I know it starts with an R. She was extremely nice and made an effort to give me a good service. 100% recommend!

Been here several times over the years. Quality has always been "Good Enough", but better than the local fast food fare you'd find in the area. I will say, and this is an absolute rarity these days, the quality has continued to improve with every visit. The service is fast and friendly, the food is great, and the location is spotless. Of all the Whataburgers I've visited, I can confidently say this is one of the best. 5/5 well deserved stars

This store is always real busy and usually (understandably) slow and tonight was no exception. The big difference tonight was the customer service. A big thank you to Erika (with a K) for going above and beyond. A very friendly, genuine attitude with excellent customer service skills. She came out to verify our order and apologized for the delay, as they were short staffed. I wish you all the best, Erika and I hope your management sees this review.

Absolutely the best! When I ordered my burger I forgot to customize and didn’t realize until they brought it. They remade it for me without complaint! Didn’t take long, and the food was great!

Unlike other spots where burgers sit under a heat lamp, you can tell mine was made the second I hit the speaker box. It’s always hot, fresh, and exactly how I customized it.

One of the better Whataburgers I've encountered throughout my storied life. Friendly staff, clean, good neighborhood, shake machine usually working, etc.

They did not give any napkins no catch-up and no picante sauce for the breakfast burritos

There was a young kid working the counter that was weird but cool lol. He hooked me and with some good grub andthe manager is really laid back. They got a basketball team their food within 10 minutes and it was all hot and fresh. Yummy.

Update 11/20/25. They have improved a great deal. Finally have a hometown Whataburger getting it right. Must be under better leadership. This is literally the worst Whataburger in all of Texas. Multiple chances given. Multiple times forgetting us in the b line or curbside. Multiple times messed up cold food. I travel for my job all over Texas and everyone I’ve ever been to is ten times better than this White Oak location. Don’t know how it stays open and I question if it should. Update 5/13/24. Decided on another try. Big mistake. Curbside wait forever only to see multiple cars come through and get food ahead of me and I ordered ahead. Food was ice cold and fries were old. Two employees were just standing outside at a car not working. Still the worst Whataburger in a tri state area.

Clean and organized facility. They practice the social distancing thing with seat spacing and masks. Every one of the associates were very friendly, courteous, and will to help in any way they can. While I was in this establishment I noticed that the folks whom were patronizing this place must have been regular customers due to the familiarity with the associates that were on the floor. Very easy and relaxed place to grab a bite to eat.

Dining area was clean and neat, the service was very good, Ava was very friendly. The burgers and shake were great, but the fries were not as good as usual. Overall it was a bigger better burger, Whataburger.

Food is normally good but be prepared for your order to NEVER be correct. Employees are polite but always seem to be short staffed. If you don't have time to drive in to Longview, it'll do, but just barely.

Great food, but I had to rate this one like this only because the Dribe-Thru at midnight really needs help. The crew was fine, but it seemed like 30 minutes before my food was even ready. I know it was late, but for a "24 hour service" that should not be an issue.

Never had a problem with the food. But they need to do something about their drive thru. I wait for five minutes and no one comes on the intercom and so I start to think maybe they are closed. But no they were open. Don’t know if it’s the workers messing around in there or if it’s the pressure plate. Either way something needs to be done.

First time going to this location. Didn't get the fries I ordered. The lady working the register didn't even smile or seem to care about helping anyone. The restaurant definitely needed to be clean. But the food was hot and the person bringing the food out was nice.

First and foremost, I love my daytime people, but this Whataburger for the last two months this Whataburger at night has become probably the worst one in Longview area. They’re very slow. For the last 5 Sundays, service was slow inside and at the drive thru. Today it took 40 minutes to get my order. Person on duty blamed it on the manager for under staffing. I saw 2 people demand refunds after waiting 30 plus minutes and an order for the drive thru wait 45 minutes and his order had been sitting on the counter the entire time. Your time is more valuable than eating here.

Came in because I had good experience last time... not tonight.. my order was placed at 8:04 pm... not busy.. matter of fact only ones here... they didn't give us complete order... and here we sit... waiting on rest of order... current time is 827... ..told it would be another 7 minutes... so far it's been 12...asked again.. honestly it's 2 apple pies.. and we know they are not from scratch 🙄 time received 841 pm... I filed a complaint on their website because the lady who took our order broke my husband's card and tried to pretend she didn't know, then they didn't give us one of our sandwiches and we had to go back and they didn't apologize, then my sandwhich was soggy and unappetizing. The manager said he was going to compensate us but wanted us to order through an app and had to text him when ready to order... Text him and of course he is not available, then he says he'll send us something in the mail and of course it never happens.

This review is about the honey bbq chicken strip sandwich. 1 The sandwich didn't stick very well. 2 the flavors weren't mixed well at all. 3 the chicken strips were dry. 4 IT WAS TRASH. Also the service was slow.

The day is 01/09/23 8:32 pm and I have to say very unprofessional staff on the night shift the young lady was rude and they seemed more concerned with chatting and joking with each other than taking care of the customer took em damn near 20 minutes just to get two burgers and a medium fry to the window. Just about every time we order something online when the food is picked up the fries are old and cold, they forget something on the order and we have to go back and get it. Not once have they apologized for items being left out of the pick up order. Just cuz it's an online order doesn't mean you have to give substandard food and leave things off the order

We had to literally wait 10 minutes for someone to take our order. The man taking our order was so distracted that we had to keep repeating what we wanted. Then instead of having to wait a few minutes for our order it was more of a 30 minute wait. We order two Jr Burgers and a biscuit/gravy. Much to my surprise at 215 in the morning they didnt have the gravy made( we saw them bring and pour it into the warming container). So instead of letting us know they were prepared to serve that particular item, we had to wait. I can understand waiting that long for food IF THERE were tons of people and cars in front of us BUT there wasn't. Highly disappointed and mad that Whataburger allows this to happen.

This location seems to make a lot of mistakes. Twice now we've received kids meals with no chicken in the bag or burgers made wrong. The tea was really bad this time. The people working are nice but there is an issue with quality control.

This morning was the fourth time I've driven from Big Sandy to This whataburger for breakfast. I again was craving biscuits and gravy and a breakfast platter. I always order with bacon, sausage, and two extra sausages (one for the dogs). And for the fourth time in a row, my order was missing items. The first time, I was missing a tequito, the second time missing the side of gravy. Third time, again missing a side of gravy. This time, missing the extra sausage and the gravy was way, way too salted. Now, being a native texas, I, of course dump the gravy on my eggs and biscuits to eat. Nope, ruined from salty gravy. I had salt sickness for over an hour that the Dr pepper couldn't even make go away.. I paid $18 for two/three thin pieces of bacon and one sausage patty. I've finally learned my lesson. This whataburger marches to its own drummer and lost my confidence in their ability to provide what I pay for. The quality of food is not up to par. They will no longer get my money.... the staff, seems nice enough. But that's it. Check your morning orders, folks... I advise you to taste items also before you drive off...

Went to the White Oak Tx location, ordered chicken strip meal at the drive thru. Paid over $11 dollars for cold fries and dry chicken that tasted like it had been made hours earlier and they didn't even give me my complete order. Next time will just go thru McDonald's which is cheaper and hot most of the time.

15 minutes ago I went to Whataburger at 9:45 p.m. and ordered two whataburgers one with lettuce and pickles and cheese the other with ketchup mayonnaise and mustard all the way. I should have looked at my order before I got home but after working 15 hours today I was hungry and just wanted to get home and I trusted them to do my order right. I got home and all I got was the bun the meat mustard and ketchup. I do not like Sonic but in the future I will go to Sonic from now on. I wasted my money and I'm hungry but I will not eat that slop and I am taking it to them tomorrow with my receipt and showing them and I am getting my money back actually I give them a zero star because that's what they deserve the

Just went through the drive thru and the first time we waited for 5 minutes no one answered the drive thru. Went back around and had to wait again. Your representative was rude and didn't even ask if we need any Ketchup reg or spicy. This is the only location between Gladewater and Longview. We went to do the survey but the code and order number are both to long. There needs to be location in Gladewater.

Went thru Drive thru. Asked If the order would be fresh. Lady, said Yes. I ordered a number 1with Cheese. Mustard all the way. My burger tasted like it was in a warmmer.and my fries were stale. Really, frustrating. Fast Forward, September 18th 2021. Went thru Drive thru again, ordered Biscuits and Gravy, with hash brown's and tea. .got the order. Headed home, NO GRAVY!! I ordered a Jr. Patty Melt sandwhich. I guess i should have called it a single patty melt, because the Manager Candace let us know in a sarcastic manner that they have a single patty. The food is usually okay, not great but passable. The service here is horrible. I don't expect much, it's just fast food. It took ten minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the drive through and there was no one in front of us or in the dining area. There were five staff members working so they weren't even short staffed. When we finally got our order and pulled up to the front the worker was face timing somebody instead of working.

Took forever to get our food, and we ordered it 10m ahead on the app. Then the burger was very salty, fries were old tasting and the ice machine was broken. When the server would finally get off her phone to help customers, she just talked about how she is the only one running drive-thru. Burger was missing a slice of cheese, which I noticed after I was about done, but it would have taken another 30m to put cheese on it probably. Even the shakes we got were not thick and just not good. We love whataburger, but this location was a disappointment.

Always gets my order wrong and food quality is hit or miss. Nuggets look like they were a handful of what was left over.

The food is old and cold or the grease is so bad the food tastes terrible. I constantly keep going back thinking it was a mistake and everyone has bad times but this is constant and I'm done. I will not go back to this nasty place. Change the damn oil and have more pride in the food.

Used tha app and ordered online. At night! Got there to pick up which was a ten minute drive, after waiting ten minutes to head that way, and waited in drive thru line for 30 more minutes. Total of 50 minutes… for an on line order! WTH? Then finally got to window and the dude on window tells me the malt machine is broke and he can give me a brownie instead. First of all it was $1.69 upgrade to a malt so he didn’t give me anything. Then my food was cold, fries were old, he forgot my onion rings that was on the original order and gave me old cold fries to replace them. Not impressed! And then to top it off he laughs about it to my face! Really? Y’all need to do some hiring and firing! As someone who has done fast food for years and deals with the public everyday at her job y’all need to step up or agit down! What an embarrassment!

Waited at the speaker for 7- 9 minutes just to be acknowledged… pulled to the window finally to place our order… maybe something is wrong with the speaker 🤷🏼‍♀️… place our order. Get asked to pull forward, wait 20 minutes there… multiple other customers served behind us at the window while we pulled forward… step out to window and given “3-5 more minutes” on our food… asked for refund… which was done fairly promptly and left… umm sorry but I’ve worked fast food food before and no… 45 minutes for ANYTHING is not how that works.

This is my least favorite Whataburger! They are always SUPER slow!!! I only go there as a last resort. The food is usually pretty good, but the wait times here are just not acceptable. I have tried contacting the manager and he talked a great game, but nothing changed.

Super disappointed in this location. We walked in to order and eat. One manager was sitting at a table with paperwork, totally understandable. In the back were seven, yes seven employees. Laughing cutting up and cussing at each other. We were the only customers inside, figured our order would be quick and hot. Boy was I wrong. Slow as molasses, the food was room temperature, bun was stale, two slivers of jalapeños on one burger, ice machine didn’t work, fries on the floor and the one trash can was so full we could barely get our trash in it. The manager wouldn’t make eye contact with me and went to the back when I tried to speak to him. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

This is quite possibly the worst whataburger in Texas. This was second try because every place can have a bad day, but don't go here if at all possible. Online ordering is completely pointless. You'll spend an extra 20 minutes past your time you're supposed to be there, and then you'll be brought your food, which is cold as ice because it's been sitting there. Nothing wrong with it. Just sitting there, getting cold. The fries were cold and mushy. The burger bun was watery from the over abundance of ketchup that had soaked in from sitting there. The chicken was a brick. 15 bucks people. Go elsewhere.

Ordered a burger with no onions at drive through. Confirmed at the window that they understood no onions. Got home, opened my burger and guess what I found. Loaded with ONIONS! had to drive back to get a refund. Asked why it was so hard to get the order right after confirming it in person. This happens every third or fourth trip to this Whataburger.

This was my worst Whataburger experience to date. It’s our son’s birthday and he loves or shall I say loved Whataburger so we decided to stop at the next location we found. It was a complete and utter mistake. The fries were cold, old, and tasteless. The chicken bites or nuggets were absolutely disgusting. It was dryer than dry and the chicken meat inside was shriveled and crusted. Never again. Please do better if you’re going to take people’s hard earned money. I called numerous times to speak with a manager but no one responded or called back so I had to write a review.

I’ve been here in town for some years now and I’ve never been able to just drive through at this location. You have to plan on a long wait as it’s not fast food. It is the same when there are just one or two customers as if there was 100 customers. The fries always almost taste refried. I’ve only gotten the correct order once and that’s because I was waiting 30 minutes and the lady said the biscuits were almost ready. I said Biscuits??? I ordered two large fries and two medium drinks no biscuits. She was shocked then told me they just dropped fresh fries. We waited another 15-18 minutes. If you go here expect a long wait time and always check your order before leaving. And as another customer said the oil needs changing more often.

I ordered on the app for me, my uncle and my grandma. All of the fries were old. Chicken was Burnt & the grease has not been changed in awhile because you can literally taste it. I live in gladewater so once we got home we realized, the dr peppers we all ordered were rootbeer. Fries were old. And so was the chicken. I call up there and the lady I spoke too was rude and literally cut me off while I was telling her what happened. We get back up there. And she comes out and tells us it’s going to be a 7 min wait. When she finally brings out the food 10 mins later, she handed it to me and then rudely said have a great day. She didn’t even give us our drinks. So I told her ma’am, what about the dr peppers and she said “oh I can’t make you any Dr peppers, someone hooked the line up with root beer.” Okay? Then ask us what we want instead. Because none of us like root beer. We get back home with the remake, and yet again. All the fries were old, chicken taste horrible. Even the teas we got Instead of dr. Pepper, you can tell been sitting there all day. I don’t even have the energy to deal with that extremely rude manager. I just refuse to ever go there again. I’ll just go to sonic right across the street, where I know I’ll get fresh food, and good customer service. This was the WORST experience I’ve ever had with fast food. If I was the general manager of that store, or the supervisor I would think about replacing the manager. She was beyond disrespectful. I’m just appalled with how they treated me on the phone and in person. DO BETTER !!!

I sat in the drive thru for a half hour, and they still messed up my order. They put mayonnaise on the sandwich that I ordered no mayonnaise. They didn't put any spicy ketchup in the bag in fact no ketchup for that matter. They didn't even give me my medium sweet tea.

30min. That is how long it took to get my order, from the time I placed the order to the time I received my meal at the window. 30min! After I got home the chicken was stale! Fry’s were stale. My second chicken sandwich was sloppy and messy. After asking why it took so long the reply was, I’m just the fry guy. 🙄 huge leadership problem here!

Went to whataburger for 2 chicken strip baskets on our way to LA. We ordered and waited 20 mins for our order. We opened Ed our boxes immediately after pulling out of drive thru and we had cold fries. How? If we wait 20 mins for our meal how can the fries be cold when they were the last thing to be put in the box?! I called the store and complained. They offered for us to come back and they would give us a fresh batch of hot fries but I said no thanks we were in a hurry to go see our grandbabies and they already had 20 mins ro five us hot fries and we weren't about to wait another 20 mins to get hot fries. And then after getting off the phone we discovered that they didn't even give us napkins! And the chicken strips were cold too!!! Not acceptable and this location needs to do better and being busy is no excuse!!

Honestly this is the worst Whataburger I’ve ever been to. My dad got a taquito last week for breakfast and it wasn’t even rolled up. Just folded in half like a taco but the worst part…all of the egg was on the outside of the tortilla. He ended up just throwing it in the trash and only eating the small order of fries he got. Tonight I got a double meat Whataburger jr meal. Fries aren’t salted and they are cold like they just came out of the freezer…mind you, I only live 10 minutes away..if they were fresh or even kept in the warmer until they were packaged they would not be FREEZING COLD! The burger has literally NO FLAVOR!! The only thing I can taste is mustard and pickle. Not to mention I had to recook my food in my air fryer… not insane but whenever I’m ordering food it’s because I don’t feel like cooking considering I am pregnant and just worked a 12 hr shift on my feet all day and have to drive an hour home. I don’t always feel like cooking so I decided to treat myself tonight to a yummy burger which turned out to be more disgusting than if I had just heated up some ramen noodles. I will NOT be returning to this location. No one cares about their jobs or the customers that come through there eating this nasty food. Maybe some extra training could change the way the food is prepared but who knows at this point considering the other reviews I just read. Honestly I think this location needs a full new kitchen staff or they need to close permanently and save everyone the time and money they spend coming here.

It was about 10:30 after a football game so I figured it would be busy but I didn't think I would have to wait thirty minutes for a chicken sandwich. The lady proceeded to walk out all orders behind me in line without telling me anything about my order. By the time I got my food it was 11 pm and the burger and fries that went with the chicken sandwich were cold and soggy. I believe they change their fryer oil once every 4 years at this location. Every single time I stop by in the morning for breakfast items that are fried.... And every single hash brown this location has served.. it's cooked in old grease and taste absolutely horrible. My suggestion... Don't order any meals here. Just the sandwich and drink. Anything that hits their fryer is absolutely disgusting and will make you absolutely sick.

I have an issue every time I come here, seriously!! They make things wrong or take 10+ minutes almost every time. This time I ordered a burger and tenders.. now I should’ve checked it sure, but my bladder was about to burst so I drove the 20 minutes back to my home quickly! I’m honestly kinda sad about this one. The last two times I’ve been to the whataburger, the wait was long but the food was worth it. Today, the wait was long (understandably considering the holiday) but the food was bad. Like bad, bad. The fries were cold and soggy with a bad oil taste and my box listed the two sauces asked for (which I was charged an extra $1 for, too) and only had one sauce in there… and the sauce looked like this. The chicken was super dry (probably the lack of sauce) and cold, too. Over $20 for two meals and both had bad fries and okay chicken and gross sauces and I’m just beyond disappointed and won’t be returning.

What a wonderful salad! All the lettuce was old, slimy, and extremely wilted. The tomatoes we all squishy, and rotting, and slimy also. If ypu want a decent salad, go to McDonald's.
