Fantastic place to get a western style breakfast or brunch. Prices are very reasonable, portion sizes are gigantic, large enough for two people to share at least. Omelettes come with a side of 3 pancakes and are already very large. The Dutch baby is positively gigantic. Food comes out fast and is delicious, you may end up waiting 15 minutes for a seat during busier hours. Overall I highly recommend this dining destination if you are a breakfast enjoyer.

Dreamy breakfast place! The Aliso Viejo location is the best. We’ve tried many places in town for breakfast but this one is the best by far. We usually order family style although the menu is designed for individual ordering. The dishes we enjoy most are the mini pancakes, the omelette, french toast, home fries, and bacon. We’ve seen many others order the Dutch baby and it seems quite popular. The food is wonderful, service with a smile, coffee as soon as you need it, and plenty of parking. It’s a busy restaurant so expect a line at the rush times and especially on weekends. We like to go an hour before closing to avoid waiting. Late breakfast is delicious!

A wonderful restaurant that serves a variety of dishes from omelettes and delicious pancakes with types of jam and honey, with the possibility of adding Swiss cheese and cheddar cheese with a cup of hot American coffee. Suitable for all family members. I recommend visiting it to experience the unique taste and unique pleasure 👌🏻

I've always loved breakfast, but I've been disappointed by a lot of places. I was starting to think that I would never find a breakfast place that could satisfy me. But then, my partner took me to The Pancake House Original. The moment we walked in, I could tell that this was a different kind of breakfast place. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the smell of fresh food was intoxicating. The restaurant was busy and we had to wait 20 minutes. We ordered the Oven Baked Dutch Baby, which is a giant pancake that's baked in the oven. It was served with whipped butter, and it was so fluffy and delicious. We also ordered the egg Benedict, which was perfectly cooked with a runny yolk. And the Thick Sliced Canadian Bacons and Farm Style Sausage were so crispy and flavorful. But the best part of the meal was the Hot Berry Syrup. It had a delicious, natural sweetness. We were so impressed with food quality and taste that we're already planning to go back. It's the perfect place to go for a memorable breakfast with your family, friends, or partner. I used to think that I was a picky eater, but after going to The Pancake House Original, I realized that I just had high standards. This place is the real deal. The food is delicious, and unique. The Pancake House Original is a hidden gem. If you're looking for a breakfast that will make your day, I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

Timeless place to go for breakfast, their pancakes are addictive! The corn beef hash is really good compared to other locations, actually has piece of potato in the hash. The atmosphere is cramped, but it's got a classic style.

OG pancake House lives up to its name. If you haven't ever tried a Dutch Baby before I highly recommend trying it at least once in your life. It is what I can describe as a light and lemony souffle pancake. A little slice of citrus sweetness in every bite. It's definitely family size, so I would recommend sharing it and putting the butter, fresh squeeze of lemon juice and powdered sugar. Melts in your mouth... chefs kiss! 🍋

Was impressed with the blueberry pancakes. For $16 I was expecting maybe 3 cakes. There were 6 total. The compote was not overly sweet. The coffee isn't that great. The service is exceptional! Love the wait staff and hosts. Atmosphere was just plain old American diner. Nothing really to look at inside. Overall a great experience for a Monday morning breakfast. Oh wife and I also shared some bacon and eggs. Bacon was cooked perfect. Scrambled eggs were not very fluffy and not seasoned. I would come back and try the sourdough pancakes next.

Dutch baby is a classic! It's been a while since I've been here, think 5-10 years, the wait it still long and the food is good but the prices have really spiked. A bit steep for breakfast.

A really good go-to pancake house. Diner-type food, with some really great options (sweet and savory). Some high recommendations are the apple pancake (or waffle for smaller portion), Dutch baby, bacon pancakes, potato pancakes, and corned beef hash. Wasn't a huge fan of the spinach crepe (hollandaise wasn't quite up to expectation).

This is a decent small chain of breakfast restaurants. The portions are large and the food is good, but pricey. This location has recently been remodeled and looks nice. My biggest issue is with the kid’s menu. If you have kids, ignore the kids menu entirely. If you have only one kid, a half portion makes sense I suppose, but you pay more for the half-sized portion and it doesn’t even include a child’s drink. Someone needs to seriously rethink this portion of the menu. Just stick to the regular menu and have the kids share. I enjoyed the 49er flapjacks. They were smooth and tasty. The coffee is your Denny’s diner quality level. The place is a bit loud and usually very crowded, with wait times, but we were seated quickly. Other than the issue with the kid’s menu prices, it was a good dining experience.

First visit, open 6a to 2p. I had the Pigs in Blanket, very good sausage, but pancake was just OK, which is surprising because it’s a “pancake house” ! I also thought the way it was served, in a bowl, was not very good either. Coffee was good, but expensive ($4.39/cup). Service was good. Won’t be hurrying back anytime soon.

Almost no parking available. I had to desist and leave before I could find a spot. There's a whole block of parking spaces but you can only park for 25 minutes. I am yet to taste their food.
