Opiniones de Vero Cafe Lake George
We loved Cafe Vero so much! Came in once for their delicious latte choices and then returned for breakfast. The latte I had was called Caribbean Dream and it was coconut and caramel. So good! For breakfast I had the French toast which was fantastic. For great coffee and good food Cafe Vero is a must stop when visiting Lake George!
My boyfriend and I stopped here on a whim to grab something to eat and we were not disappointed! I got the Steamboat breakfast sandwhich with a latte and he had a BLT. Both were delicious! Probably one of the best breakfast sandwhiches I’ve ever had. And the staff was super friendly too :) would definitely come here again!!!
We were recommended here by local friends, and Caffe Vero did not disappoint! We had the biscuits and gravy special and it was some of the most flavorful biscuits and gravy we’ve had! We also had a shamrock mocha latte and cinnamon roll latte - both were delicious. The best coffee we’ve had on our road trip so far. The barista even did beautiful art in our coffees. Highly recommend.
I went here because I heard it was dog friendly. It was. I went inside and ordered a pumpkin latte and a breakfast sandwich. The food and drink were amazing. A bee drciddd to take a nosedive into my latte, and the server, Trinity, went above and beyond to make sure I had a new, fresh one, but also to make sure we were comfortable. Trinity offered my dog water, was very nice, and made sure we had the best experience there. The atmosphere was cozy, the music was nice, and with the great food, I would go back. I think it is my new favorite coffee place in the area. I also love that the pumpkin latte clearly had a fresh pumpkin puree and not a spice syrup. The bacon on the sandwich was crispy, not burnt and tasted so fresh. I have been dreaming about it since. I definitely recommend!
We got some coffees (roasted in shop) with some wonderful art in the foam. We ordered some apple pull parts which were delicious and perfectly sweet. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits breakfast and was very happy with the quality of the food. It was a cute little coffee shop with wonderful workers and a great atmosphere. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Lake George.
Café Vero is an absolute gem in Lake George! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that makes it the perfect spot to relax with friends or enjoy a quiet coffee. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel at home. The coffee is top-notch—rich, smooth, and freshly brewed every time. Their breakfast options are delicious and made with care, especially the pastries and sandwiches that pair perfectly with their drinks. Portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh. Whether you’re starting your morning or just taking a break during your day in Lake George, Café Vero is the place to be. Great food, great service, and great vibes all around!
Placed a breakfast order by phone and it was ready right on time. Breakfast was really good. I ordered an iced coffee to go and it was delicious! The service was fast and the staff were friendly. They also have a nice selection of food and bakery items. Definitely a great spot to grab a quick coffee or snack.
This great coffee spot is dead center of Lake George Village. Hubbs and I only drive thru this crazy busy area for 2 reasons. This is one. The other Capri Pizza. This am on our way to our family's summer cottage in Bolton we stopped at CV. The Latte was perfect, hot and beautiful. Hubbs enjoyed a Cappuccino and we had the Adirondacker egg sandwich. So delish! The staff is great here too.
It’s my second time coming here. The first time I came was around April for the solar eclipse. The breakfast is really good. I haven’t tried the lunch yet, but I will definitely try the lunch. The coffee is very good and they even have it in coffee bags if you wanna take it with you back home. You will not regret coming here. The employees are very nice.
A Gem in the Heart of Lake George Café Vero is exactly the kind of place that makes a trip to Lake George memorable. Centrally located in the village and run by a local husband-and-wife team, it’s more than just a breakfast spot — it’s part of what gives the area its charm and authenticity. There’s something deeply satisfying about starting your day with great coffee and a homemade breakfast in a place that feels genuinely connected to the community. In a world where so many travel experiences are becoming generic, locally owned establishments like Café Vero are what we truly seek out — even if we don’t always realize it. The fact that it’s open year-round speaks to its commitment and its importance to both locals and visitors alike. Supporting businesses like this isn’t just about a good meal — it’s about investing in the soul of the place you’re visiting.
Quick Stop at Caffe Vera, Lake George, NY Lake George never disappoints, and neither does its food scene! 🌊 During my quick stop at Caffe Vera, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy vibes and the stunning views right across the lake. It’s the perfect spot to fuel up before exploring the area. What really caught my eye was their old coffee bean roaster on display! It’s such a charming nod to their love for coffee, and it adds so much character to the space. Definitely a highlight for coffee enthusiasts. Here’s what I ordered: 🥞 Pancakes: Fluffy, golden, and perfectly sweet! These were everything you’d hope for in a classic breakfast dish. Add a drizzle of syrup, and you’re in heaven. 🥓 BLT Sandwich: Crisp bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes on toasted bread. Simple, but oh-so-satisfying. 🌯 Breakfast Wrap: Packed with eggs, cheese, and veggies – a hearty, grab-and-go option for anyone on the move. The service was quick and friendly, and the location? Unbeatable. If you’re passing through Lake George, make sure to stop here for a bite and soak in the lakeside charm.
We walked in at 9am on a Friday morning and the line was almost out the door. As soon as we ordered and looked back it seemed like the rest of town was coming in for breakfast too. And for good reason. Their pumpkin latte might’ve been the best I’ve ever had (pictured). The regular coffee was good and strong according to my husband. We ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage on an English muffin and the Adirondacker and they were both delicious. People were friendly. We found a spot to sit easily I THINK because people were eager to eat and get started with their day, and didn’t linger. Within strolling distance of the lake and our hotel! Lovely morning on our way to VT/NH 🍁🧡🍂
We stopped in here for lunch while on a road trip. Located along beautiful Lake George this coffee shop/bakery/sandwich shop is really amazing. We had the Reuben, and a turkey bagel sandwich. The Reuben was honestly the best I have ever had. It was flavorful without being greasy. The service was great, and the coffee was excellent as well. Check this place out!
Came here for breakfast while on vacation and absolutely loved it! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and the food was delicious and very affordable. As someone who is very big on coffee, my favorite part was their very large selection of flavored lattes! The orange milano iced latte was amazing as was my cinnamon raisin French toast. Probably one of the best I've ever had! We loved it so much we came back a few days later and got some omelets. I had the Spicy Jack and it was phenomenal!!
Coffee was cold ,but was busy when we were there and brought to table maybe thats why, but was a nice spot for a quick hot drink on a cold day lake George day
The cafe is super cute but wait times can be long and we ordered a vegetarian omelette that unfortunately had a piece of bacon in it! Coffee was amazing though
Came because I heard they had made donuts and cinnamon rolls, but there weren't any available. The server said she believed they don't make them anymore. The photos were from older reviews that I has seen. The cinnamon roll was good, but idk if I'd travel and spend $5 for it. It was just a bit dry and not my preferred style of cinnamon roll.
One thing is for sure that they have a really good coffee. We ordered pan cake, scone, omelet, and coffee, and everything was pretty much good. They open at 6 : 00 in the morning, so it is a plus point as a traveler that you can enjoy a good breakfast and start your journey ahead early in the morning.
We have been to Café Vero multiple times. We went there to get takeout before a long drive home and my wife went there to pick it up. She walked in and was unsure where to pick up the food. A young women with short hair was so nasty to her. My wife must have made a face as another young woman quickly jumped in and said come over here by thr counter I’ll go get your food. as she was standing by the counter waiting for my food a man we are assuming is the manager rudely goes Are you gonna move you dont see the people coming in and out. She was so taken back by this as she was maybe standing there for 30 seconds. We have been there so many times and received great service, but whoever that man was was extremely rude especially when she was told to stand there. She now never wants to go back because he made her feel so uncomfortable.
If you want a quick average breakfast then this is exactly what you'll get. There's no table service, you order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. Two coffees, two omelettes, and one blueberry pancake will cost you $50. The quality of the food wasn't the best, the omelette was small and thin, and the peppers and onions in the omelette were undercooked. The hash browns were also undercooked and I personally did not like the seasoning. The coffee was also average but hard to enjoy because the thermostat felt like it was set to 90°. I would not recommend.
I love the breakfast sandwich and iced coffee here. However, no matter what time of year I go in, the service is awful. Minimum 30-45 min to just get a coffee and sandwich. The staff is often slow and seemingly unfamiliar with the tasks. They always prioritize personal conversation over the line corralling out the door. To top it all off, the entrance-way of the restaurant that hosts the line is setup extremely poorly. Guests stand against the ice cream freezers/ in front of (in the way of) the coffee condiments. Looping the long line around the lobby into a confusing manner makes it worse. There’s a plethora of better ways this establishment could run better, and it doesn’t seem to change. It’s just disappointing to me as I can’t bear the long wait and poor service anymore for the acceptable food.
