Opiniones de Subway Lake Placid
I didn't catch his name, but I have so much respect for this server. It was a very busy day and he was the only one working, and even still he was the most patient, friendly, and professional server I have ever met. I would probably crack under such conditions but he made that job look so incredibly easy. Plus the sandwich was perfect, I haven't had subway in years and it was even better than I remembered. All the respect for this man, I wish him the best.
Best run Subway Ive ever been too. In town for CanAm tournament and Subway was busy. But the staff not only kept everything organsized and moving along with precision but the place was clean as if it was dead. Even the food prep area looked like I was the only one in there. Absolutely amazing. Other locations should be trained by this one.
Great shop. Great people. Needed to arrange food for 15 people on short notice. I called right before the shops closing the night before the food was needed. It was made so easy. We got two platters, one sub and one wrap. Variety was perfect. The next day when I went to pick up , the store was extremely busy. The pick up was easy and all people that helped me were friendly and efficient. Bonus , the food was delicious . It is not easy to make things work for multiple people, this worked ! If there was a sixth ⭐️... I would give it. Great management.
I called them and asked if they could make me a sub and have someone else pick it up. They were extremely friendly over the phone and got my order exactly right. Friendly accommodating staff!! Thanks!
My son and I stopped at this Subway for an early lunch. Great service, tasty sandwiches, and the cookies are top notch! All of what we expect from a Subway.
I've always liked this subway. The staff is friendly, polite and helpful. Everything is clean and fresh. Great place for a meal.

The staff are super nice and they even apologized for the long line. There are a lot of people coming in and eating here. They are very inclusive with their clients.

Average Subway experience. Friendly staff, decent food. It's nothing special, but gets the job done.
Friendly service, great tasting subs, I would recommend #12 the turkey avocado bacon sub. My only query is why servers with long hair are not required to wear hair nets?
When we travel by air, we always pickup a Subway sandwich. Never travel without some food and a Subway sandwich is our first choice. Whatever sandwich we pick, is never a disappointment. Where we live, it's never a far walk to find one. And the chocolate cookie isn't bad either.
We all know Sub-Way you hate it or love it. Personally here I love it, the staff here are fast and efficient at there jobs and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend if you're in a time crunch or on the road.

New location is prime for visitors that attend the Olympic Center, and since its new the conditions inside are great; I've also never had an issue with the food. However, I don't like feeling harassed and that's how I felt here. First thing you see when parking is a sign for "Customer parking only" and the threat of your car getting towed. Staff also constantly looks outside to make sure only customers are parking in the lot...so its definitely enforced. In the past this was never an issue, so a warning for visitors: don't plan on eating at this location and then walk down main street. This lot is privately owned, so there's nothing law enforcement can do about it. On the bright side, if you plan on only eating and then leaving, you will always get a parking space as the lot is now a ghost town!
The quality of the food at this establishment is excellent, which makes my experience here especially conflicting. Unfortunately, the staff is extremely poor and rude, particularly an older woman who consistently makes customers feel uncomfortable for placing online orders. On one occasion today February 6th, 2026 at roughly 6:10, she loudly and repeatedly stated that customers need to stop placing online orders because it is inconvenient for her. She asked another customer what they were waiting for, and when they replied that it was an online order, she took the next person in line instead. She then made passive-aggressive comments toward the customer waiting, such as, “See how quick that was if you would just order in person.” I understand the desire for convenience, especially as someone who has also worked in the food industry. However, when an establishment offers multiple ordering options, it is completely unacceptable for customers to be repeatedly complained to or shamed for using them. This behavior creates an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment. As a college student, I often use the app to save money. My school is nearly 20 minutes away from this location, and there are no other locations within a reasonable distance; the next closest is about an hour away. Ordering ahead allows my food to be ready when I arrive and is simply the most practical option. There are many valid reasons customers choose to order online. If this behavior continues, it feels like the choice will ultimately be between keeping this staff member or keeping customers. I am already very hesitant to return, and if I do, it would only be due to the lack of nearby alternatives; not because the experience is enjoyable.

The place was clean but service was bad. They put the wrong cheese, forgot onions and "lots of black olives" is about 4 of them for them (with 4 more when I asked for more)

I can't really rate the food because the unwelcoming staff convinced us to seek a better restaurant. I arrived with 12 people in 3 cars in an empty parking lot at 10:40 on a Sunday morning. There are signs that the parking is only for customers but we thought we would check out the Olympic Welcome center across the street for a few minutes before we ate at Subway. One of the employees promptly told us that we couldn't take up three parking spots while we were gone for a few minutes. Parking was free across the street until 1 pm on Sundays so it wasn't like any parking was at a premium. Instead of Subway we found Wyatt's Tex Mex down the street which had much better food and portions for about the same price. After eating we returned to the free parking lot and could see that Subway's parking lot was still empty.
The person there turned away me and a few other customers who got there at 7:50 saying that he he did not have time to do our order mind you I was one person away from getting my order taken and he refused. Absolutely awful
When I specifically ask you not to add double cheese but instead just one layer of cheese then you just don't put any cheese on it at all and still charge me for double cheese that's just malicious. Ever since subway started to use the "sandwich hero" menu subways become pretty bad Tried to give it another chance but apparently it's not worth it you are better off going to Wyatt's or the ADK Corner store
Ordered from them had three subs two of them was not what we ordered
I will never be going to this subway location again. The staff was extremely rude and did an awful job making a simple sub. I ordered a veggie wrap, so I expected a decent amount of veggies on the sub. The "sandwich artist" put 4 leafs of spinach, 2 tomatoes, 2 cucumbers, 3 pickles, and 4 olives (yes I counted). I had continuously asked for more vegetables, but she didn't hear me because she was talking to the people who came in after me. I was charged more for guac even with the lack of vegetables given (I get it. It's their policy). I just couldn't believe the attitude we were given from this employee. She acted as if we were bothering her and interrupting her conversation with her friends.
I had my First Worst Experience ever at this location. We came in at 8 pm in front counter to order subways and the lady just came from back and told us rudely that it's closed for dining. The closing time was 9 pm. We ordered two subs anyways for take out. My wife couldn't resist as she is three months pregnant and we also had our 16 months old daughter with us. After grabing the subs, She started eating one of the sandwich while standing however the subway guy shouted (while he was preparing sandwiches for other customers) saying you cant do that and you have to get out now. I requested if he could allow us as we came from far (Melone, Ny after driving 6 hrs from Toronto,CA) and we won't make mess but he didn't listen at all. He said we have to get out from there right away...I never see such humiliating behavior with the customers. I will never visit this place again!
My family and I went to this Subway as most other places around were closed before noon. What appeared to be the owner/manager was casually walking around the restaurant with no mask on while refilling the juice/drink area. I confronted him and asked why he was not wearing a mask, and he said that he was eating - while he clearly wasn’t eating as he was walking around refilling drink areas. He refused to put a mask on with others ordering food and eating - our family left immediately. People like him are the reason why we have this pandemic with thousands dying. If you want to support the spread of covid and don’t have any regard for your safety, your family’s safety and public safety, this is the place to go.

Locked the doors at 7:45 (closing time is 8). Was ok to let another family in seconds before us.
