The ambiance is great. I loved the decor and music. Service is friendly, courteous and helpful. We enjoyed our meal without a rush. The food was fresh and delicious. I loved the lentil soup. I devoured it and forgot to take a picture. The restaurants is wheelchair accesible and family friendly.

Best Meal of Our Long Beach Visit! George’s Greek Cafe delivered top-tier food and service from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive—our drinks never went empty, and the service made the entire experience even better. We started with the combo appetizer, which was perfect for sharing and full of fresh, bold flavors. The Greek wine was both unique and delicious. For mains, the gyro and the Greek chicken sandwich were bursting with flavor—absolutely delicious! Dessert was the perfect finish: the mini baklava, creamy ice cream, and warm Galaktoboureko with its flaky pastry and custard filling were out of this world. This was hands-down the best place we ate at during our Long Beach visit. Highly recommend!

Love, love, love this place! It's been years since I've been since I've moved out of state, but in the past this was a frequent stop for me. It's been 5 years, and it's just as wonderful as I remember. We sat at the bar because of course it was busy on a Saturday night, and the bartender Sam was awesome. Even with the restaurant being as busy as it was, the attention we received was perfect. Sam was personable, funny and easy to have a conversation with. I'm actually glad there were no tables available, this ended up being the perfect evening not only full of great food, but easy conversation. I wish my trip wasn't as short or I would return for sure! The food here is always fresh, the dips are on point, the Kalamata duo and Scordalia are our two favorites! The Baklava is better here than anywhere I've had, crispy and not soggy! The Saganaki is also the best here vs anywhere else also! Really anything on the menu is fantastic, and ending the meal with a sweetened Greek coffee is absolutely the best! You won't be disappointed!!

Go for the food. Stay for the service. Go back because it’s family. From the moment you step in, you’re treated like family. The owner, Nikki, introduced herself and asked for our names. She used them when she spoke to us over the course of the evening. Mike, the manager, runs a team of hosts and servers who provide service second to none. And, they seem to enjoy being there as much as the guests. We started with the 3-dips plate. My favorite was the potato and garlic with warm pita. Next up, the flaming cheese. The flaming cheese is a reason to drive out of your way to get to this 2nd Street jewel. They flame it table-side, so it’s cheesy goodness and a show. We tried the falafel, the lamb, and the baklava. Add in a bottle of wine and our meal was…chef’s kiss! Nikki told us that it was very important to them to be loyal to their guests. We felt that warmth all evening.

Yesterday Took the wife and kids to George's Greek Cafe to celebrate her Birthday. Her favorite plate is the Lamb Chops. The atmosphere in this place was amazing And the service was outstanding our waiter Obet was amazing and very helpful In recommending food options for me and the kids Food was great and delicious as always We definitely love coming here

This place is the best from head to toe! From the cleanliness, the most friendly staff and owners to the out of this world food and wine!! The Amethystos Greek wine is some of the best I've ever had, and we get it by the bottle every time we are addicted! The lamb chops are the best I've ever had anywhere, very tender, juicy, and flavorful! Don't miss out on this gem on 2nd street!! They are dog friendly too on their outdoor patio!

As soon as we walked in to the restaurant we were greeted by Fabio who took great care of us. He was very friendly and quickly to make suggestions. We took his suggestions and enjoyed the sizzling cheese cooked in rum and greek olives, and the tender lamb chops with a side of garlic feta fries and salad. We completed our dinner with the most delicious freshly baked baklava. It was sweet and delicious, with a wonderful honey syrup, but not extremely sweet.

Great food, even better service, very happy we tried it out. Pet friendly patio!! Picked it out because wanted Greek and From the pictures we couldn’t tell what kind of place it would be but when we walked up we were happily surprised. Thought it was a small sit down/take out place but it’s a whole restaurant with outdoor patio. Amazing staff, pet friendly patio is a huge plus!! We got the lamb chops and lamb kabobs (put it on one plate in photo ) It was delicious, lamb chops were perfect and sides were delicious, got the halloumi appetizer and it was also yummy. Looking forward to visiting again!

Delicious Greek food, very friendly staff and great outdoor seating area set up to expand eating area. We discovered this restaurant a year ago and made a point to return on this trip. Our waiter made excellent suggestions, we tried them and were not disappointed! Can't wait until we get to return again. Try the lamb. It's extremely flavorful and ridiculously tender. Save room for dessert! The custard and baklava are delicious!

First off, the service was excellent. I forgot to get our server’s name, but he only works Tuesday evenings. So go Tuesday if it works. The lamb chops were excellent and cooked to my requested preference. Fresh salads and nice wine recommended by our server.

Absolutely phenomenal food served here. They've been in the shore for years and have regulars that fill the tables on a daily basis. Staff are also well trained.

The food was absolutely horrible. I ordered shrimp kebab with two sides it was all inedible. The 6 shrimp were very tiny and overcooked. The vegetables were dreadful. Mushy broccoli and carrots. The green beans were also overcooked and none has any seasoning not any dressing not even a bit od butter. The rice was could. . My beverage was a glass if club soda. This meal which I really couldn’t eat cost me $50! I could have gone to a nice upscale restaurant for a great meal for that price. Needless to day I won’t going back.
