The speakeasy place is next to a pizza front. The entrance is really cool with lots of door handles on the wall. Inside, it felt cozy and cool vibes. Very dim lighting. There's an outside patio that's really cool. I would recommend this place for date nights or group hangs. It'll be a fun night out.

Food: 3 Vibes: 5 My bf and I came here (mainly for food haha) bc it's very close to us. We also wanted to check out the vibe. If you want a chill vibe definitely recommend coming early on Sunday nights. They've got a DJ playing old school hip hop and r&b music all night. Such throw backs! Loved it. Entrance: currently only requiring ID to get in. When you walk in, you enter into a room full of doorknobs on the walls. You have to find the right doorknob to open the door to get inside. Super cool concept. You are the key! Food: we ordered pepperoni deep dish pizza and the garlic fries. The food wasn't fresh. The pizza was basically a thick pizza and had no cheese pull (super disappointed). The fries were limp and borderline cold. I understand people don't come here to mainly eat, but still! It should still be warm atleast. Drink: they seem to be pretty popular for their drinks. CINDY LOU WHO - 15 Vodka, Cranberry-Almond Syrup, Honey Liqueur, Apple, Lemon, Walnut Bitters STRAWBERRY MULE - 15 Vodka, Strawberry, Lime, Mint, House Ginger Beer SHADY SCHEMES - 15 Vodka(substituted), Pineapple, Apple, Serrano *I love fruity drinks so these really hit it on the nail. They could be a bit stronger but that's okay. Vibe Loved that the eating/drinking was separated from the dance area. The music is blasted throughout. Everyone's just chill and enjoying their time. Loved the music. Previous reviews with feeling unsafe with security guys are alarming and I'd think twice before coming here with a group of girls but it's nice if you're with a guy or a mix group. Will come back with a group!

The idea of finding the key is pretty cool. The bar itself is nice as well. The drink is ok, I will say average. But the fruit they put in the drink is truly pretty fresh 😂

I'll keep it short people, some nights are a hit or miss depending on the mission. The crowd is cool, the security is respectful, music played is usually hip hop all gen. Bartenders are very attentive. Over all good vibes parking depends

Super overrated. Waited on line for about 40 minutes, cool thing is that you can buy pizza while you wait. I wish I had a slice to review that but anyway I didn't know what to expect inside. No one on the line was dressed up, girls had sneakers on, different age groups but definitely on the younger side. Once inside the decor was classy vintage but bartender ignored us for a good 5-6 minutes. When we finally got her attention she wasn't nice, not rude or anything just not friendly or welcoming. Took forever to bring my card back. I definitely got a double shot of tequila to not have to go back and deal with her. Past the bar is the patio area, that was jam packed. I vibed for a bit but dudes were thirsty and you could not dance there, also it wasn't really dancing music more like sing along old school stuff. This place has so much potential but I wouldn't go back to be honest. Also did you know all the clubs close at 2am in cali? We ended up across the street at the taco truck spot and I told the guy to play music and he did! I had more fun there eating tacos and dancing and drinking! Check that place out. :) amazing tacos.

It said it was a speakeasy and the pictures reflect it, but it looked more like a club. The crowd wasn't dressed to impress. I'm sure they would be nice, but based on the lack of parking, the neighborhood, and the multiple big bodyguards we were not comfortable.

Food is delicious but the service is absolute trash. On top of the women taking my order for only 2 items! One was 20 the other 15 tell me how and why she charged me 9.75 IN TAXES I PAYED 44.75 ON AN ORDER THAT SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE THEN 35-38 AND SHE THEN PROCEEDS TO TELL ME I CANT PAY IN CASH THEN PAY THE REMAINING AMOUNT ON MY CREDIT CARD STRAIGHT BULLSHIT SHE OBVIOUSLY IS JUST LAZY AND DOESNT WANT TO ASK FOR HELP IF I WERE THE MANAGER I WOULD NEVER EVER LET SOMEONE LIKE THIS WORK FOR ME DEIVING AWAY CUSTOMERS AND CHARGING THEM AN ABSURD AMOUNT. This past Saturday I had the worst experience with a group of my 15 friends that were trying to have a good time here. Incidents below are as follows. Very hostile environment by the staff, uncomfortable environment for lgbt folks. Nobody was in the gentleman’s restroom and there was a toilet so I closed the door and used the bathroom— both of my friends were outside the door waiting for me. Security barges in, in the middle of me using the restroom and starts yelling at me saying I will be escorted out for using the restroom. I come outside and I tell him he isn’t one to tell me what my gender is and also why have a toilet if it can’t be used ? Another person can’t use the restroom with the door closed for whatever the case is? Very confusing and aggressive behavior in the way I was spoken. After this —I go to the bar with both my friends and the bartender is being aggressive and yelling at us for our order despite the bar not being busy. Our friends look at each other for confirmation and then we all said “ah maybe she’s just stressed out” no problem. We later come back to the same bar area to get another round of drinks and the bartender proceeds to yell at us angrily and throwing her hands up for our order. The 2 guys waiting for their next turn even looked at us in disbelief that she was talking to us like that. Once she finished making the drinks she takes the tab and literally throws it at me on the counter …. At this point I don’t even wanna tip her. I gave my friend my receipt for him to tip and sign because I was furious that everyone was treating us disrespectfully. We grab our drinks and we start making our way to the patio where we had a table with more friends. A bottle service guy bumps my friend and spills her drink on her hand, so I reached to grab a napkin from the table he was setting . This person snatched the napkin out of my hand and yells at me saying “YOU CANT TAKE THIS NAPKIN!” — “WHATS GONNA HAPPEN NOW IS AMA HAVE TO THROW EVERYTHING AWAY CUS YOU TOUCHED IT” … my friend was so uncomfortable because her drink was spilled by HIM all over her hand. Took the already touched single napkin out of my hand and threw it away. At this point we decided to leave and take our party elsewhere. Why keep spending our money in an establishment that is very unwelcoming and unsafe. Never coming back to lock n key.

I visited this venue on July 12, 2025, around 12:10 AM PDT to meet my friends who were already seated at our table. As I arrived, one of my friends came out to greet me and assist in finding the table. However, I was stopped at the front entrance because I was wearing Hermes Oz mule loafers. While I understand that some venues have dress codes, I found it surprising since my shoes were clean, professional, and elegant. Additionally, I noticed other guests wearing open-back summer sandals, which made the enforcement feel inconsistent. I hope the management can clarify their dress code policies to ensure they are applied fairly and clearly to all guests as the front door lady was apparently being racist.

We had a really disappointing experience with the bartender. The place was nearly empty when we arrived, yet the bartender lady was rude. We ordered two drinks but were brought three without explanation and were irritated. When we asked for the tab, we were given a bill with no itemized breakdown, which felt shady especially considering the high prices. The drinks werent even good, so we just left it. won’t be returning.
