Perfect little local hangout with excellent food and beer! They even have some GF options and hard cider for me. Dog friendly. We have been dozens of times and it never dissapoints. Go at sunset and enjoy the view.

Can’t beat the atmosphere and service here. We loved the frequently changing beer selections and the patio. The food is interesting and thoughtfully done. Among our favorites are Annie’s breakfast burrito and the sliders. And don’t forget the Avocado Caesar Salad. Remember, this is avocado country!

Beerwood sums up the outdoorsy chill oceany vibe of the Baywood-Los Osos area well. The drink selection is always good, and the charcuterie and cheese boards are perfect compliments to the drinks. The food is usually pretty good, and there are often fun specials. One minor thing as a Caesar salad lover: I find their Caesar salad dressing a bit too fishy for my taste. Overall, I recommend you check out this awesome local spot!

I got the breakfast burrito with chorizo and a passion fruit mimosa. We also had a plate of cheeses and meats. Delicious! But being your own coffee as they have none! This is a special place with lots of community involvement and support.

What can i say....after having Beerwood recommended to us by friends, it has become our #1 go-to place for a comfortable, casual, outdoor local eatery. I cannot say enough about the staff. So friendly, accomodating, but within all that, they are very professional in a very understated way. The food is amazing, the Charcuterie board not to be missed. The beers are all high end microbrews on tap and rotate regularly. Go on Monday for the Farmers Market right outside. We love this place.

Relaxing local bar. Plenty of patio seating amid a calm neighborhood. Staff was friendly. Beer selection is solid, with a particular focus on local breweries. We didn't try the food but the menu looks good.

Tried the chocolate charcuterie board, and red wine, and OMG, what a treat! It is all dark chocolate (that they make themselves) with almonds, coconut flakes, and sea salt 😋 accompanied by a glass of Ancient Peaks Cabernet, (local wine) and wow, a party in the mouth. Super dog friendly, casual upbeat atmosphere. Love, love this place! Wether you go for dinner, a drink, or dessert, or all of the above, it never disappoints 👍❤

I had a breakfast sandwich here. Very tasty. My wife had a bowl of something, can't remember TBH, but she liked it. The ppl sitting outside were very friendly and most had dogs. It was really pleasant. Will be back.

From the food, to the service, utterly outstanding! We flippin' love this place! I don't use the word perfect very often but let me tell you what, everything was perfect. This place exceeded our expectations. We ordered a few items and drinks, they were the bees knees! The staff are the most wonderful folks I have come across and even the other customers were so kind to us! I give this place a million diamond platinum stars out of 10 (that means this place is the best). Another win for my hometown!

We celebrated our son's 51st Birthday and an early Father's Day with 9 family members and even though the restaurant was full, they gave us full attention as if we were the only ones there. Everything was delicious! The Charcuterie tray was exceptional as was each entree. Loved it all!

A super fun place in Los Osos to hang out and enjoy life. Great selection of beers. Our AirBnB host suggested this because it was a few blocks away. We visited on a Monday, which is the day that the Farmer's Market is just outside the door. The dinner choices are certainly "bar food" but the quality of ingredients is amazing. We had a grilled cheese with chorizo and a quesadilla that used corn tortillas instead of the traditional flour ones. Both were excellent. We were jealous of the locals next to us who got the most incredible cheese/meat/fruit plate that included several of the items we recognized from the market earlier that day! If we only had room we would have ordered one.

I’ve eaten at Beerwood during a festival but this was my first time with their full menu. Wow! Everything was so tasty; totally exceeded my expectations. My eyes were bigger than my stomach but it was just as good the next day as leftovers 😋 Patio seating was perfect on the mild day I dined and it has lots of umbrellas for extra sunny days and inclimate days too. The staff was delightful and made me feel special.

Great food, good atmosphere - outdoor patio is very nice. The grilled cheese was great. At first I thought it was a little pricey for grilled cheese. But it is HUGE. I barely finished half. The bread has a crisp finish to it, Texas toast like and loads of cheese! DELICIOUS

What a find in Los Osos. We happened to visit on a Monday when the farmers market was happening out front. Kind and professional staff, dog friendly, and all items we had were fresh. Did the charcuterie tray (she warned us about the size), corn quesadillas and lentil soup. We tried but failed to finish charcuterie board, but upside is we have breakfast and afternoon snack.

Was in town for work and we stumbled across this little place for lunch. Got the single quesadilla plate with chorizo and beans for the side. It was amazing. Completely unexpected. Also, the service was awesome. If you do end up getting this plate, make sure to add the tomatoes and arugula!

We stopped in here based on Google review . It did not disappoint . We had just taken the amazing Bluff Trail hike and wanted a great lunch with a cool vibe! That’s exactly what we found at Beerwood. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine along with the family size quesadillas. More than the 2 of us could eat but sooo yummy. It came with a side and we chose the antipasto salad which was superior !! The service was perfect and extremely warm and friendly . We will be back !

My husband and I really love this place and whenever we go to Los Osos to hike, we end up here! We've tried multiple things on the menu and everything is good! Their options for beer are vast, but they also have very nice wine offerings as well. Portions are amazing, I'm often taking part of my meal home for later! The patio is welcoming i'm very comfortable. We always say we wish we had a "Beerwood" to our home! Luckily for us, we're only about 45 minutes away and try to visit as often as we can!

Tri-dip dip dip was insanely good and made with gluten free bread, chicken salad was on point and the pozole was hellza legit; it also came with a side of their sourdough which was extremely good. The food presentation blew our team away, and everything tasted FANTASTIC! The service was next level with them making sure we were taken care of, and our teammate with celiac disease had no issues! The team is definitely wanting to go back!

The grilled cheese sandwich was wonderful, but the side salad and balsamic dressing were so so. There wasn't any fruit on my plate like usually, so that was disapointing.

A fun beer joint with good quality beer and food that locals come to. The menu is limited, but pretty creative, especially for a beer joint. Also, the service was fantastic here as well.

Beerwood is a favorite and a local gem. The food is shockingly good and well crafted. The beer list is extensive. The atmosphere is inviting. The only thing stopping it from being perfect is lack of space to protect you from the often chilly breeze. Service is excellent, and friendly.

The food is so good and the atmosphere is great. I ordered food to go and got a side of bacon that cost $5. When I got to my destination there was no bacon. I recommend double checking your order prior to leaving if you order to go.

My review is based on the food. I am locally SLO county. The veggie sandwich leaves a lot to be desired. The side of fruit was underripe. Maybe focus on 1-2 fruits that are actually ripe? The wine is okay. The beer is great, but they ran out of what my husband wanted. I honestly don't think we will be back.

Other tables were taking two umbrellas ea. and the owner did not have the curtesy to throw us some shade. — I’m sure they have other amazing dishes, my husband got the sausage and was great! I got the egg rancheros looking for a nice red sauce they pack on chili beans and eggs were burned., very yucky, i did not eat it.

We heard great things about this place and had high expectations. We had sliders, 1/2 charcuterie plate, and the sausage plate. The sliders were quite good. The charcuterie plate was disappointing. The bread was very hard and tough to eat. Both of the cheese items were hard cheeses; a soft and a hard would have been great. It would have been nice to have some sort of a spread, a honey or jam. The sausage on the sausage plate was totally dry, no juiciest whatsoever. Overall, we were disappointed.

Over-priced --the soup was ok, but I've had better. Fruit served as a side was not fresh and had no flavor. Bread was decent. Music at counter was super loud - hard to hear anything else.

From the minute we sat down our waitress was giving us attitude about her not being able to see our numbers because of the way that THEY set up their tables. After we ordered it took so long for the first dish to come out and each of our plates took 10 minutes after the other to be sent out. Half of our meals were cold and my sandwich (the veggiemaker) was not tasty, I don’t recommend. By the time almost everyone had gotten and finished their food, someone in our party still hadn’t received their food and no longer wanted it because everyone was finished so she asked for a refund. The waitress rolled her eyes at us and stormed off giving us no answer. Eventually my mom and aunt went to the cash register to ask for the refund. I wasn’t inside when the conversation was happening, so I don’t know the specifics of what was said but I could see the staff yelling at my mom and aunt. Later my mom told me that they were cussing them out, saying racist remarks, and yelling in their faces. Not cool or professional and I do not recommend supporting a restaurant filled with such rude staff members. The male owner was one of two members of the staff who handled the situation with grace. This place seems to be struggling with identity. Either go Vegan or don't. Where are the potatoes? No fries or chips. The menu is really lacking detail as to what you are getting. My Italian sandwich contained unidentifiable meats and the oil and grease was pouring out of the sandwich. It was not edible. I found it interesting that they didn't question why the food wasn't even touched.

Very disappointed, it's been two years since I've been here and the quality has dropped drastically. Ordered two Brat's and some brussel sprouts. One brat was extremely soggy, filled with oil or water. The other brat was just fine, no soggy bread, no excess oil or water. The brat's come with fruit, one strawberry had dirt on it, the other was bad. The other brats orange had a hair. The brussel sprouts were extremely lack luster, the chorizo was burnt. The order was to go, but was eaten one block away at Baywood Park Pier, not enough time for the bread to become a sponge soaked mess. Writing this review is disheartening, I loved this place the first time, but there must have been a change of cook's since then. Dirty fruit, excess oil, and human contamination are factors that lead to health issues. I hope the management reviews their kitchen.

Only ate there once, but Tuscan chicken flatbread was awful - dry, way overcooked, almost no chicken, flavorless crust. The “host” who took our order was the most ungracious host I’ve ever seen. After we closed windows because it was freezing, she came in and opened everything and turned on a fan, explaining, “sorry folks, have to get the smell out.” Too bad about the customers.

I visited this restaurant recently, and their menu prominently states at the top that they can make any dish vegan on request. Unfortunately, when I placed my order, what I received wasn’t vegan, and when I tried to clarify, the staff was curt and unwilling to help resolve the situation. I ended up having to request a refund, which was only given after quite a bit of back-and-forth. In short… the experience was disappointing, and the staff’s hostility was unexpected. I hope they improve their approach to customer service in the future.

Passing through; local recommended. Loved the friendly vibe. Ordered grilled cheese on gluten free bread. Woke up next morning throwing up and suffered food poisoning for next 20 hours. Clearly NOT gluten free.☹️
