I was in town on a snowshoeing trip and came here every night since I wanted a hearty vegetarian meal that wouldn’t break the bank. Of the 4 main dishes I tried, I enjoyed the veggie Ho Fun and Egg Foo Yung the most. Staff is very friendly and the orders came out quickly when I called ahead. Portions are also generous on the main dishes; I needed it after burning 3,000 calories a day hiking.

I highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken; got a pint with white rice. They are very generous and it's delicious! I like the smaller pieces of chicken . Very fast, friendly ,and affordable! I'll be back!

She might not look like very much, but she's got the energy of three people, and loves a good joke. I've been going there for years, and will often compare other places to Number One's offerings and abilities. Other places might occasionally compare, but usually fall a bit short. Of the three Asian houses in Saranac Lake, this one's the best. Park on the street, or across the street in the small corner lot, and either way mind the traffic. You'll want to to make it home safely for a really good meal.

We were out taking a drive after morning rain and decided to pickup some Chinese to eat at the park along the lake. Food was fast, but order was only warm and portion was kinda small for the price. It didn't ruin the day, but we probably wouldn't select take out from there again.

I have been a customer 4 times now and the place is woefully inconsistent with plump juicy chicken in my Sesame Chicken one day to fried dough chunks the next. No big deal as its not really Chinese food anyway.

Usually it is a simple dish: wonton wrapper, cream cheese, and faux or real crab meat. Today's recipe omitted cream cheese, and instead there is this gas station nach looking stuff in there with very little evidence of crab or its facsimile there of. Also, most of the rest of the order looked like it's been sitting in a fridge a night or two and got re heated. Usually love the food but as of lately... not so much

Very rude when I called to ask about delivery they hung up on me and when I called back she had to ask to if I was picking up before taking my order... Very unprofessional!

Rude and hung up phone before I could even order. Took 7 tries to get through and when picked up the phone on the counter and ignores it and then hung up in my ear.

Food was undercooked and chicken and pork fried rice smelled like week old garbage. Worst Chinese spot ever. Not only that, but the lady at the counter was extremely rude and disrespectful.

They do not like answering their phone for orders when they are open, I rang them 20 times and then decoded to drive down only to find them open and with only 3 people at the time in the resteraunt.

NOPE..... they serviced it with pork fried rice..... 2) If you ordered Sesame Chicken, wouldn’t you expect sesame seeds on too.... NOPE.... no sesame seeds.... The bathroom was locked and out of order.... in the age of Covid I would hope that you could wash your hands before eating. No fortune cookie.... seriously.... give out a a cookie with each order... The whole place seemed dirty.... it is June and the still have Christmas stickers all over the window.... CLEAN the place up!!!! On a positive note.... the portions were large...

My order was messed up scallop had a bad smell and flavor was bad. Shrimp was mush and meal was cold. That was one out of 4 meals. And they gave 2 of the wrong meals not happy after spending 40+ their

Worst Asian food I ever had. My wife almost died because of their food. The hospital found high levels of msg put in my food. I rather go to China Wok in Tupper Lake it’s the same distance from my place. China Wok is the best Asian restaurant I ever had in the Adirondack’s.

My son ordered sesame chicken and said it wasn’t good so I tried it, it was the worse sesame chicken I’ve ever had. I don’t think it could be called sesame chicken because there was no chicken, just balls of crispy dough and some sauce. If I could give 0 stars I would.
