Locale pulito e personale attento. Abbiamo ordinato 2 menù di tigelle con affettati misti 4 salse e contorno a scelta: tutto ottimo. Abbiamo avuto anche il bis di tigelle che ovviamente abbiamo divorato. Le tigelle sono senza glutine. Purtroppo è difficile trovare parcheggio e solo per questo ho messo una stella in meno. Lo consiglio.

Friendly staff. Simple food. Great price (€10/person). Fantastic fried tigelle, perhaps a little heavy if you want to walk in the afternoon.

Metto 3 stelle perché sono stata in questo posto due volte. La prima volta ci siamo trovati bene. Super impeccabile cibo e personale che serviva. (Era presente anche la proprietaria quella sera, presumo fosse lei) La seconda sera per niente bene. Portavano i taglieri senza tigella e gnocco fritto. Questi ultimi arrivano quando i taglieri erano già terminati. Tutto sommato è un buon locale.

This restaurant is located in the center of Mantua and has a fairly simple atmosphere. I found the place very stuffy, excessively loud, and chaotic. Service was slow, partly due to the large number of customers, but a few more hands in the kitchen or dining room would have made a difference. The portions of gnocco and tigelle aren't huge, but you can reorder them at no extra charge. The sauce set is a nice idea.

Honestly, I expected better. The sauce ideas were excellent, but the tigelle, while very good, weren't what I expected. The place wasn't exactly aesthetically pleasing. Prices were a bit high for this type of dinner.

Esperienza non positiva, intanto bisogna premettere che a pranzo non esiste né tigelle né gnocco fritto, in pratica è una pizzetta fritta che assomiglia a uno gnocco. Gli affettati non sono di prima qualità. La giardiniera era poco più di un cucchiaio 4,50 euro. Ambiente rumoroso, personale gentile ma non organizzato. Attenzione al conto, perché se nel menù è prevista l'acqua (non è specificato quanta a testa) c'è ne hanno fatto pagare 3 su 4. Perché, se eravamo in 5?. Non ci siamo. Naturalmente non torneremo.

I'll start by saying that the food was good, but the service was poor, and we had several unpleasant surprises during our dinner! We must have been unlucky, but out of four dishes we ordered, two weren't available... keep in mind that the menu has seven dishes!!! Anyway, the cold cuts arrived with sauces, and after 10 minutes the tigelle arrived, one tiny basket, and then after another 10 minutes another tiny basket of fried gnocco... So we immediately reordered the gnocco and tigelle, which didn't arrive for another 30 minutes... Given the time and the limited quantities, we immediately ordered more, but after another 45 minutes they hadn't arrived, so we gave up and got up to pay, very bitter and disappointed! P.S. As already noted in other reviews, the prices listed online are significantly lower than those listed on the restaurant menu!

Cena per 3 persone di fine anno prenotata il giorno prima per il primo turno dalle 19.30 alle 21.30. Appena arrivate il proprietario ci ha accolto chiedendoci con insistenza di lasciare il locale entro le 21. Tigelle voto: 1 Da mangiare all'istante bollenti oppure diventavano dure e immangiabili in pochi minuti. Gnocco e affettati sufficienti. Ma la perla ci aspettava al momento del conto...ci viene chiesto se avremmo pagato in contanti o con carta prima di dirci il totale (e già questo è poco trasparente..). Decidiamo di pagare in contanti, il proprietario ci comunica che avrebbe fatto uno "scontone"...alla fine usciamo con ben 60 centesimi di sconto che sfrutteremo per le prossime vacanze alle Maldive!!! Nutriamo dubbi sul ritorno all' osteria della tigella!

Unfortunately, I had a somewhat negative experience at the tigella restaurant. There were 6 of us, and after sitting at our table, we ordered 3 gourmet menus and 3 traditional ones. When they arrived, it wasn't clear which one belonged to which person, and when we asked, we were told, "Oh, I don't know, sorry." 😅 So we got what we thought was ours. Plus, they brought a plate of cured meats for two people with the same menu, and that was fine, but once we finished that, that was it; they didn't bring anything else, even though we still had some tigelle and gnocco, which we then finished with the three or so sauces they gave us. The organization in bringing the tigelle was a bit poor, we only had time to go away, we were hungry. I don't think I'd go back there again.

Unfortunately the place was closed without any communication outside the place. I only found out once when I called the owner. I hope to be able to re-evaluate and rewrite the review once I go to dinner. Anyway, for the record the place reopens on September 1st
