Opiniones de Oli's Kitchen Marble Falls
Food, service and atmosphere was great! I ordered the tacos and my favorite was the shrimp. Our waitress, Heather, amazing. Great service 👏
We love Olie’s Kitchen. We’ve been coming several times per month for the last few years and have never been disappointed. The service is always very good. Our favorite items to order are the Carnitas Street Tacos. They are excellent and the creamy green sauce served on the side is fantastic and VERY spicy. The rice and beans served on the side are truly delicious and seasoned so well. This is probably my favorite meal there. Also excellent are the Chicken Flautas as well as the pork tamales. We’ve never had a wait for a table so it’s a dependable, great place to eat in Marble Falls and it is SO much better than the other Mexican restaurant a few steps away.
Food is surprisingly delish, portions are perfect definitely has a more cafe Mexican type vibe , seating was comfortable waitress was an absolute sweetheart, just an all around peaceful experience.
We went this past weekend and really enjoyed the fish tacos. The others in my group ordered the fried fish tacos, and the really liked those. I had the grilled fish tacos, and I’ll definitely be back for those again! Our server was super sweet, and we had a great time.
We first saw an advertisement in Facebook for Oli's Kitchen and visited last month. The experience was so positive that we returned on the weekend and stumbled into a time they offer brunch. What a treat for us. We enjoyed a quesadilla appetizer for the table. Each of us selected a different entree and all were excellent. I enjoyed a combination of eggs and enchiladas. Wow, great flavors.
Such a Fantastic restaurant. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place. The food here is very delicious and fresh. I ordered the Chili Relleno and it is too sure for. The best I've ever had. A must try. My wife had the Sabrosa Portabella and it was very tasty as well. The staff was great and the restaurant was very clean. A definite MUST try.
First time in Marble Falls and definitely won't be the last. Came by Oli's Kitchen and had the best lunch ever. Burgers were made from scratch and tasted wonderful. Our waitress Mrs. Maria Perez was amazing and made us feel right at home. So if you are in the Marble Falls area, please come by Oli's Kitchen and enjoy an amazing home cooked meal. You won't regret it 5 STARS all day long.....
Oli's isn't fancy but has solid food and service. It's an older building in a cute part of Marble Falls. The atmosphere is casual in nature but natural, if nothing else. In other words, it's not memorable, but just fine. The food at Oli's pleasantly surprised us. We found almost everything we tried to be delicious, a testament to our love for Mexican cuisine. The dishes were not overly greasy and prepared promptly, and the service was swift and attentive. The prices were reasonable, making the experience even more enjoyable. The Baja Fish, Steak, and Carnitas Tacos were all excellent. The margarita may have been unpleasant, but the sopapillas with ice cream were a classic delight. If you're looking for some solid Mexican food as you pass through Marble Falls, this is a good choice.
I would give them 6 stars if I could. Everything they serve is remarkable and creative. They present traditional, true Mexican food with elevated artistic expression. The interior is humble but the food is astounding. The service is personable and dedicated to the customer experience. Any town would be lucky to have Oli’s. It is a hidden gem in MarbleFalls and hill country. I hope the secret gets out for everyone.
Meeting a friend at Oli's Kitchen recently I was excited to see they had some interesting healthy and lower carb selections on the menu. I was prepared for the chips and salsa not being complimentary thanks to reading previous reviews, but this wasn't an issue for me as someone who prefers to eat low carb. My friend raved about her Baja Fish Tacos, giving them a solid 5/5. Her portion of two tacos with rice and beans was $16.00. She also ordered an unsweet tea for $3.50. I opted for the Pollo Rico Bowl with the mixed greens base and no beans, and this is where my experience was a bit different than expected. After asking more about what this dish was, I was under the impression it would be more of chicken atop veggies with a sauce, but it turned out to be a stir fry-ish style with the chicken sautéed or mixed with the sauce and vegetables (Brussel sprouts, carrots, broccoli), with cabbage and pumpkin seed, avocado, pico, and tortilla strips on top. While surprisingly tasty, it wasn't what I had envisioned, and despite specifically asking for no beans, my bowl still contained them. I did also inquire about adding cheese, and while I received a nod implying a response, it didn't arrive with my bowl. When I asked, it was brought on the side with a rather steep $2.00 upcharge. In hindsight, the dish didn't need the cheese, so I don’t recommend it. The cost of my bowl with the side of cheese was $17.00. I did think the flavor was great, but I would probably not order it again. Like others who have mentioned the service, I'd echo that it certainly wasn't their strongest point. I felt rushed by our waitress and as if I was taking up too much time when trying to clarify menu items - which resulted in some confusion with my order. It was difficult to get her attention when we needed her and our drinks did not get refilled. While she was nice, her hurried demeanor and lack of attentiveness was a bit off-putting. But, the gentleman at the front was friendly when we were leaving – he even went out of his way for a specific toothpick request! Ultimately, while the flavorful food and lower carb options were positives, the cost of our $39.50 lunch (before tip), combined with the less-than-attentive service, led to a lower rating. Oli's is a good option for those who follow a lower carb lifestyle and I will probably go back at some point, but be prepared to potentially encounter service that isn't very helpful and doesn’t align with the price point. Just a heads-up: the lighting here is quite dark. It sets a mood, but if you struggle with low light or want to take clear photos without a flash, it's something to consider.
Came in around 6 and was immediately seated. Ordered the $10 guacamole that was the “large”. The amount would be honest at $6. No free salsa. Maybe the 2nd time of come across this in my lifetime. I ordered a michelada ($12$)!!! and the steak fajitas. I’m glad they have the vegetarian beans option. Food came out in about 15 minutes. And was presented well and very tasty. Salsa is a staple at a restaurant in my opinion. Charge for refills if necessary, but for first serve?!? Overpriced on some things, fair on others. I’d possibly try again, just avoid some things on the menu.
Indoor and outdoor seating. Bar available. Vegetarian options available. I had their pick 2 and chose the portobello enchilada and their bean taco. It comes with your choice of beans, and I chose refried. My husband had their portobello enchilada and carnitas quesidilla. He chose charro beans. Both meals were good. Service was friendly and prompt.
The cilantro salad and shrimp rice happy bowl were really good. Didn't like that you have to pay for chips and salsa. Got the large queso blanco for $8 and the small bowl was only about 1/2 full. It was busy on the patio and service was a bit slow and lacking. May give it another try?
Only Mexican restaurant that I've been to that doesn't serve complimentary chips & salsa. They cost $4.. Server gave us a sample bowl & it was very good but nothing special. Taco & enchilada was very good but tamal was very dry. Rice & beans very good. Grilled tuna on salad was bland, unseasoned but was ok with cilantro dressing. Server Heather was excellent. Not a do over.
2nd visit here, first was a 5 star. This time…. Parking hasn't changed, in fact, since there was some kind of street fair (?) going it was worse. Oh well, can't blame them for that. We were greeted and seated promptly, our server was pleasant. Our drink orders arrived quickly, and after placing our order, our food arrived not long after. Ordered the same thing I had previously, the Richys Fajita Burrito. Unfortunately, it has changed. It was good, but no longer the amazing dish it was. I wouldn't say it was bland, but no longer had the kick it used to. Atmosphere is still the same, mostly consisting of some low volume background music. Otherwise, it's mostly just the normal sounds of a restaurant. So overall a good experience, but nothing special anymore. We drove from over an hour away to come here, because it was that good the first time. Now, not so much. I would maybe eat here again, but certainly wouldn't make the trip just to eat here.
It took a while to seat us and even longer to come by and take our drink order. During our wait it just felt like we were the only table getting skipped over. I had the steak enchiladas, boyfriend had fajitas and daughter had taco salad. The food was surprisingly good! We would come back for food but hopefully service is better next time.
If you want vegetarian beans, you should ask for a manager. We asked for vegetarian beans and were assured we had vegetarian beans all the while there was bacon in the beans. The food other than that was good, but as vegetarians, we will go elsewhere in marble falls next time we’re here. Please teach your staff the definition of vegetarian. Disappointing. Photo shows beans with meat in them.
