A very pleasant, spacious place with parking. The parking is a bit hidden, but the entrance is on the right. The food is good, but the sauces, the onions, and of course the garlic cream are even better. The food is very well served and the price is quite reasonable. A good place to go for lunch with friends or family.

Best nachos in Merida hands down! Came here around 1 in the morning for a giant plate of nachos with meat was not disappointed. The play came with more beef than cheese, and I can barely find the tortilla chips.

Bien la comida, con un sabor muy rico, pero el servicio no es lo más adecuado, no te pueden proporcionar vasos individuales ni hielo, con el calor de Mérida

La comida es muy rica, para los amantes de la carne al pastor, la recomendación son los nachos y los burritos son excelentes, el único detalle son los servicios sanitarios que dejan un poco que desear en general está muy bien.

Buenísimo pero el servicio podría ser mil veces mejor y más eficiente

El Cacique... A taqueria on Prolongación Montejo Avenue, with plenty of tables and ample parking. I decided to try the tacos al pastor, which weren't too bad, but the adobo was heavy on the sweet side. Then I ordered a Mestiza de Chuleta (Pork Chop Mestiza), which was really good. Afterwards, I wanted to try the pastor en torta (Sandwiched Pork Loin), but the bolillo wasn't very fresh, which lowered the torta's score. In the end, I wanted to try a Mestiza de bistec (Mestiza Steak), but the meat still needed seasoning. In conclusion, if you're looking for tacos al pastor, there are other options, but if you're looking for larger portions or to order them by the pound, ½ is a good place to enjoy them. The waiter's service was good and fast. I would recommend cleaning some tables more.

En la noche ha decaído mucho, comida fría o recalentado, refrescos calientes, en los desayunos son muy ricos los polcanes, solo que se tardan mucho, aún cuando se haya pedido con anticipación por teléfono

Cacique is a place we Yucatecans go to out of tradition. It's not pretty, the service isn't the best, and it's not the most modern or clean, but we go anyway 🙉 Honestly, I don't know what it is about it! 🤣

It's great that there's food very early in the morning but cards aren't accepted so if you have no cash this is not the place to go. Very disappointed since this place is located in a somewhat touristic area.

Disappointing, I saw the place full and thought it was a good option, but found the food quality and amount of portions not so fair related to the price. The place is very well located but it seems old and poorly maintained. There are cheaper places for tacos and with better taste and portion sizes.

Coraje tener que pagar por comida tan mala, no lo vale para nada Su crema de ajo sabe a mayonesa y esta agria Pobre la presentación de mi comida, tostadas y le tiraron la carne encima, fría, tiesa y sin sabor En cualquier otro lugar el precio de sus platillos esta mucho mucho mejor servido. No nos entregaron cubiertos. Los cocineros se la pasaban molestos y hacían público las disputas del personal durante el servicio.
