Opiniones de Good Tea Mérida
A variety of refreshing drinks, water-based, fruit-flavored, or milk-based. Prices range from 80-100 pesos, and you can add extras for approximately $20. They're delicious and refreshing. The tapioca is good, as are the lychee spheres. It's not cheap, but it's good, and the cups they serve you in are sturdy, reusable, and come with lids.
This little place looks very clean, and the service is quick and friendly. The menu lacks descriptions of the drinks, but the staff is very patient and explains what's in them. You could reuse the cups at home since they're made of thick plastic and have lids that prevent spills. Prices range from $70 to $100 MXN per drink. Some don't include tapioca pearls, so you have to ask them to add them when you order. My favorites are the Zangzang and the Coco Latte. Both have mild flavors, not too sweet, and are milk-based. The avocado frappe is creamy and contains real avocado. They accept cash and cards.
It's Asian! The generous size, unique cup, and portability are great! I love how the drink doesn't spill. I've enjoyed bubble tea often in Korea, and I've also enjoyed Gong Cha in Merida, but it was always a hassle to travel to La Isla or Alatabrisa. I'm so glad this place is nearby. Other bubble tea places often boil the tapioca too long, leaving a poor texture. This place is great! It's a bit too sweet for me, but the tapioca, the essence of bubble tea, is perfectly prepared. I want to enjoy this place often!
The portion-to-price ratio of the drinks might not be the best, but the fact that they give you a reusable glass at the end somewhat mitigates that. The atmosphere seems relaxed, although the bar's proximity to the tables means the noise can be bothersome. The service is good; they answer questions in a friendly manner. The menu lacks product descriptions, and a food menu would be helpful, as they sell items but don't specify what they are or what they contain.
A beautiful place to enjoy a refreshing drink. They have a multitude of teas, with tapioca, smoothies, iced teas, etc. There's a variety of sizes, and the prices are over $80 pesos. I don't know how good that price is in the area, but we know everything has gone up. The flavor is rich and refreshing. The place is nice, and the service is good.
Their drinks are delicious, and the place, although small, is nice. My rating is mostly for the customer service. There were about four employees, and from the moment we walked in, we said good afternoon to them, but none of them responded. The same thing happened when we received our drinks. We thanked them, and silence followed. They're not rude, per se, but they're very indifferent and have zero customer service. Only one girl with glasses seemed pleasant. And I point this out because customer service speaks volumes about business, even if their product is good.
First place in Mérida where they charge extra for tapioca and it's not included! And well, if they're going to charge for it, they should at least offer it, because it's not until they deliver your drink that you realize it doesn't have tapioca in it :( Otherwise, it's excellent! I ordered a taro and it was incredible!
I used to be a regular at this place, but over time the customer service has declined so much; I don't know if it's due to staff turnover and the fact that the staff who do serve you seem to be doing you a favor, or if it's the quality of their products. It's sad that a place that used to be so good has ended up becoming just another run-of-the-mill restaurant.
I ordered a mocha with tapioca from Rappi, and both arrived without tapioca even though I paid for tapioca in both and they had a black tapioca label. This is the second time this has happened to me; I was hoping it wouldn't happen again. Rappi refunded me for both, but the issue isn't the money.
They always stop serving customers before closing time. Twice I arrived at 8:40 and they refused to serve me because they were about to close.
Very small place, high prices for the quality of the product they offer. I ordered a drink that tasted like water with some sweetener and coloring—horrible for the price. I was even embarrassed to complain, and ended up throwing it in the trash, which perfectly reflects the place. 🤢
I always saw how crowded it was, even though the place was small. I was so excited to try the taro, but there was nothing to make the drink with :( My sister and I ordered a frappe, and it was awful. It was like they just put a lot of ice in it; it didn't even taste like Oreo. The girl who served us didn't even say goodnight. I wouldn't go back, even though it's very pretty :/
There was no taro, nor tea to make the original drink; some prices are a bit expensive for what they offer. Adding 20 pesos of taro to a drink that costs almost 90 pesos seems quite expensive to me; I left disappointed.
I used to go there quite often because I liked the staff they had a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, they had a lot of staff turnover, and in the end, the service and drinks declined significantly. It's a shame that such a good place has fallen so low due to poor and terrible staffing choices. This photo they've already removed from their social media is awful. It's part of their job to clear the tables and keep the place clean, and now they expect us to make our own drinks? How is it possible that they upload these kinds of photos to their social media, mocking their customers? I don't recommend going to Macroplaza.
I bought a taro frappe and unfortunately it doesn't taste the same as before. It's as if they've lowered the quality of the product and I don't recommend it anymore. I hope they go back to their original product because it had a very good flavor.
Every time I go, the tables are dirty. 😪 It's my favorite place to go for bubble tea because I love the variety, but lately the flavor has declined quite a bit. It's very bland. 👎🏻 And the staff should be more attentive when serving customers.
