I went here post workout. I wanted sashimi. They had 20 piece sashimi fish pieces. I purchased that with a salad and an egg drop soup to go. The wasabi gave a good burn. You definitely don’t taste raw fish with the wasabi and ginger. I like the fish size for the sashimi here. Usually sashimi is cut really thin so the pieces are small. They are good portion size here. I do recommend

Well in short. It was amazing and you should come here. My daughter felt in love with her kid's Salmon (hit the spot with taste and presentation) Steak bowl another top seller and in my book a great experience in all aspects, timing, freshness and quality. Since the pandemic, all restaurants have gone to the QR world. This place is no exception, the software used was exceptionally intuitive. I do miss the time of a good waiter. But, changes are always good in any way.

There’s really been improved level of service and attention that I have noticed from the staff at this place. I'm not entirely sure what has caused this positive change, but it is evident that there have been notable improvements in their overall approach and attentiveness towards customer. I asked for the manager and Ricky store manger came and thanked us, even treated us to a dessert for the good feedback. Recommend this sushi spot 10/10 :)

This place has the best Sushi and Chinese food in Miami. Delicious, fresh and always consistent. They will custom the Sushi to your dreams. I love the dragon roll, it is absolutely perfect. I especially love the happy smiles of Teddy, the manager! He treats us as if we are family. He always treated my father as if he was royalty. Now that my father is no longer on this planet; Teddy still reserves a special spot at the table for him. At that special spot with an empty chair, Teddy respectfully serves Dad’s favorite soup to honor and remember him. My Dad although in heaven loves this special tradition and so does my family! The tradition is from China and it so loving. Teddy is always there to please everyone. Great atmosphere and lots of Bubble Teas to choose from.

We found the best Chinese food in Miami!!! Being from Long Island, NY this means a lot!! The Mongolian beef melts in your mouth. Never had anything like that before! However, the manager, Teddy, was the reason we visited this restaurant twice during our weekend stay. He often checked on us as we had questions with the menu. He really was such a delight to meet and cares about this restaurant. The orange chicken and of course bubble tea was awesome as well. Can’t wait to come back and look for Teddy and that Mongolian beef!!!

This is the best Sushi Maki location. The quality of the food is amazing. I’ve been coming here for years, the consistency in flavors keeps me coming back. They have the best sushi roll ever called Chili Tuna Crunch, today one of the female chefs made it and it was absolutely amazing. I even had to thank the chef and congratulate her because I was so blown away by her food. I’ve been having that roll for a long time and today was the absolute best. Also the service is always great, Teddy is very kind to customers. I also love having the canton menu, their Chinese food is great too. I love Sushi Maki Dadeland. The best! Ps: poke tuna tacos are also unbelievably yummy.

If you want good Chinese food, excelente service in a very clean restaurant this is the place. We have been going to the Canton at this location for many years before we moved away 14 years ago. Came back to Miami to see friends and We took them last night and the food and Quality is still outstanding. Our friends who live here said they definitely will be back. Our dinner was, Canton chicken wings, wonton soup, honey chicken, Pork fried rice and cantons special sizzling steak with sautéed vegetables. What a wonderful feast. We have known Teddy for many years and it was so good to see him and have him take care of us. The Canton is inside of Sushi Maki Dadeland. Great place and wonderful staff. Wendy and June!

While visiting Miami, our family decided to go to our favorite Chinese restaurant, Canton; and we were very disappointed to find it had changed. We have been coming here for over 25 years. We almost didn't go in, but it was already such a long drive for us... To our pleasant surprise, we were greeted by the same manager, Teddy! He told us that yes they made some changes, but assured us that they still had the same great food, as well as some excellent new dishes. It turned out to be an amazing experience! The food was as enjoyable as we remembered, and we are mostly grateful for Teddy still being there with his warm smile and genuine hospitality. TL;DR Almost made the mistake of not trying Canton"s new restaurant, Sushi Maki. We were very happy to see the same great food, and mostly, Teddy!

Had a great experience here which tied an otherwise melancholic Christmas this year together and brought my mother and I joy and nostalgia. Our server Kieran was very friendly and had some nice conversations with us. In an otherwise changing Miami this place still brings warmth and nostalgia even with its modernized renewed flare. The old canton plates really are a blast from the past and are integral to the nostalgia.

Cantons still operates out of the sushi maki with a very bare bones menu. The red chilli wontons were decent, I would have liked to have more of the sauce on the wontons, it seemed like the sauce and the wontons didn’t mix. The egg roll is the best I have had, ever. I love the egg roll from cantons. The Orange chicken was very good, I am sad that they no longer have sweet and sour but the orange was good. The pork fried rice was delicious as always. One good addition is the patio seating on the side of the building, it is lovely to sit out there and have a nice lunch.

How many awkward interactions with big parties will you have till you realize you might need to change your seating arrangements because this used to be Canton? You were one of the best Canton's in this entire area. Canton dishes are as good as ever. This transition is half aced at best. If you're gonna push it out then finish putting it out. If you're gonna keep the Canton stuff then please take into account bigger parties. I've been here twice since the change and each time it's a bunch of other parties in that awkward dance for seating and ordering.

Manager has a big attitude. I ordered a bowl and asked many times, no spicy please take out everything that’s spicy from the bowl… When I receive my order it was full of jalapeño and spicy sauce…. It’s ok that they made a mistake, i called to ask them to send me the correct order, and the manager was really bad saying i only told him to partially take the spices out??? Does that make any sense?

They underserve you when ordering take out on delivery apps and in-person. If you order in person and eat there the poke bowls specifically has more fish. It’s not the bowl presentation that is fooling you. I actually weighed the food and they are scamming you!!!!!!!!! You want your money worth eat there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
