Juice and Java is an airport cafe with mixed reviews. Many appreciate the reasonable prices (compared to Starbucks), quick service, and tasty pastries like the guava danish. However, coffee quality is inconsistent, with some finding it bitter or weak, and service can be rude.

Off the Ship and headed to the airport to fly home and was dying for a hot coffee and sandwich and this location delivered. I passed by the quick shops and stood in line to order a Hot Mocha Coffee and custom egg and cheese on croissant. Both were sooo good! Nice and hot and made my tummy happy. There were many hot and cold (bottled water and fresh squeezed juices) options. Wish this spot was in VA!
The folks here do a good job! I asked for two ‘off the menu’ items, and they came through each time! I got a bagel with salmon, hold the cream cheese, and later a coffee for my dad. Both were good!
Great spot to stop for a sandwich in MIA airport. Service is super quick and the prices aren’t crazy for an airport. Got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was delicious.
The guys who work here remembered who’s order was who’s and made the drinks perfect. I sat by the pickup window and watched everyone’s face surprised by how good the drinks were. I spent a week in Florida and this is the only place that made the drinks the way I asked. Amaziiing. Easily best coffee place in Miami.
Do not get the drip coffee get the cuban one. Guava danish was extremely soft. Would get a 4 stars for price but it's in the airport
Really long line but the employees were very nice and they had delicious looking food and pastries. And the prices were super reasonable. The coffee was cheaper than starbucks and they had a lot of options. They had almond and soy milk as well. They also have a few of the Torani syrup flavors (caramel, chocolate, vanilla, sugar free vanilla). Very very impressed for airport food and coffee.
Delicious white chocolate mocha and good sized guava cheese pastry for $10. Cheaper than Starbucks! Sandwiches looked good too.

Best service ever! They accommodated my mom with her gluten allergy and even customized my coffee! Can't wait to come back!
We absolutely loved the cortadito we got at Guava & Java! Actually flew in to Miami instead of Ft. Lauderdale just to have another one!
Loved my cafe` macchiato and hot buttery croissant! So good that I bought a guava pastry to eat on airplane later !
Axel was very kind!!! Good customer service
CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENT. PERSONNEL SUPER KIND AND FAST. REGULAR PRICE BUT WITH A GREAT VARIETY OF COFFEES AND PASTRIES. I LOVE IT !!!!!!
Really good smoked salmon bagel and friendly staff! Definitely an "airport food" surprise.
Coffee is super nice, prices are OK and staff is lovely. Hard to find in Miami Airport. Highly recommended! 👍🏻
The ladies here were were the good note of our 5 hours of chaos. If you are in Concourse F and you need a good sandwich or breakfast, stop by. They won't disappoint.
The guy over there made one of the best cappuccino much better than Starbucks. We were very tired, and the very first sip lifted our souls. Visited on 10/8 around at 3:30PM
I had an early flight back to Jersey from Miami airport and stopped by the G&J stand for some coffee and breakfast. I’m a cheese danish fanatic and I have to say the danish from here is the best I’ve ever had. The caramel latte was also amazing. I wish there were more locations of this place!! Seriously the best. Also, reasonably priced for being at the airport.
Workers were working hard and effecient. Getting everything fast out for people but making it quality. I tried the turkey and cheese on a croissant and it was actually really good. My friend had a cheesecake brownie and said it was amazing. Tried a café con leche for the first time and it was strong!! And pretty good. This is the best place in MIA.
At Miami Airport…Bacon, egg & cheese croissant was very good, croissant was fresh, egg was good for a pre-cooked product & cheese was fresh & flavorful… the sandwich was very satisfying. The guava & cheese danish was also very fresh and very good. There was a long line that seemed to move steadly, customer service was good also. Was too hungry to take a photo!
The cafe latte actually is excellent - better than Starbucks! Staff today quite friendly. opening hours here on Google obviously wrong - it's 6:50 pm on a Friday and the staff is happily serving drinks and food.
Shout out to the guy who made me coffee. When I told him I wanted it sweet.. he made it sweet. Pretty sure I'll get diabetes from this. Besos y abrazos, compay. Y aché pa ti.
Our second time there in 3 years and really love this place! Excellent Cuban Cubano/coffee and wonderful ham/cheese croissant. Young man serving us was very kind and gracious on an early Sunday morning---I believe his name is Alejandro. Awesome employee!!!
With a very convenient location this cafe provides service to Spririt and Southwest travellers. The service is good. The staff makes an effort to serve fast. The line is not that long and totally worth it. The coffee is really good, however they may need to incorporate products for people on keto diet or at least any low carbs choice. I couldn't find anything that fits my lifestyle. The experience was good.

Average price for airport food and drink, coffee was ok, wish was it bit stronger, good selection.
Very fast service, good coffee and yummy Fresh Muffin. Perfect before boarding.
Looks like the best place to get food at MIA Concourse G without leaving security. Caprese and Ham&Cheese sandwiches were both tasty, and coffee was good too. They had fresh guava juice which was a treat.
Update 4/12/2018: I tried the mozzarella basil sandwich toasted and it was fantastic. I know a few people are complaining about cleanliness at this coffee shop but I will tell you that all of terminal G is horrendously horrible in fact a few hundred because you pass this coffee shop and head towards the Budweiser restaurant the stench of stale and nasty food from the Pizza Hut and the Budweiser are overwhelming enough to make you want to puke. The iced mocha was excellent and this coffee shop is a saving grace in this horribly dated terminal. They will probably be a staple for my flights through Miami whenever I am in Terminal G. Regarding the food sold here - it does not seem fresh. The staff is cheerful and offer good service.
Well glad we skipped the "maestro" and came here instead. Was very surprised by how good the chipotle chicken sandwich was. Also impressed with the mocha frappe! It wasn't spectacular but for this miami airport which is definitely the weakest link amongst airports across the USA. Miami has room to improve greatly.
Since there was no other choice but to buy coffee or a sandwich here, we had to try it. It was mediocre, and they need to provide better food options at this gate.
This place is located inside the airport and on the terminal F, right in front of gate F15 TAP. We got a coffee latte and a cheese pastry from here. Price: was a little expensive but I guess is normal because we because were at the airport. Service: was good. Taste: the pastry was ok but the coffee was great and made exactly the way I like it.

I ordered bagel with cream cheese. Received warm bagel with small container of cream cheese. They were also out of regular bagels and it was 5 in the morning.
Ham egg n cheese tasted like an air sandwich. Coffee was very good and staff is friendly.
Ate here around 9 o’clock, experience was lackluster to say the least, only 4 menu items were available, non of which were vegetarian friendly, furthermore they were only accepting cash, my simple croissant and sweet tea cost me 22 dollars which is ridiculous even considering airport pricing, would not recommend. This is 1 of 2 restraunts in concourse G which is not connected to any other concourse meaning you cannot leave without exiting the secure TSA zone.
So this is pretty much the only place at the terminal with gates G where you can get somewhat descent food. They have a pretty wide variety of choices, but can't really make any changes to them as they all pre cooked. The drinks are pretty good and the staff were very nice. The prices as expected for airport of course are outrageous
The service was ok, the staff seemed pretty miserable, bread was old. There aren’t a lot of options on this wing so I recommend to just cough up the $11 for a coffee and old croissant.
Quarter to 6 A.M. and no breakfast sandwiches. Terribly burnt, almost undrinkable coffee. 2nd star because the smoothie was decent.
Thirty minute wait time for coffee. I think it’s mainly due to logistics as they handle each customer one at a time.
Staff was on playing on their phones, I had to get their attention to be helped, but that seems to be the norm these days. The muffin I had was ok, the croissant was toased in the microwave, but still not bad.
Too slow for airport service might miss your flight and with language barrier good luck trying to get a refund sigh
Foods is okay, but the displayed item is not what you get. We thought, wow, nice tuna sandwich. But it turns out to be a jam sandwich. It's like they "buttered" the bread with the tuna salad. Both of us removed the top of the roll and threw it away. We ate it like an open faced sandwich. Seriously, otherwise it's like eating a dry bread sandwich.
The food was just okay. The fake egg yolk patty was that plastic egg type material that all airport fast food restaurants use, but the cafés we ordered were dangerously too hot.
Person at the register was wearing his face mask as a chin warmer … mouth and nose were exposed (clearly violating airport rules. When I said something about wearing his mask properly, he said “I just have to wear it”. Ridiculous and flaunting the intent of the policy.
I just wanted unsweetened iced tea in a cup with iced (to soothe my sore throat). Iced tea is NOT on their menu it they do sell Gold Peak bottled iced tea. They refused to give me a cup with a lid and ice so I could pour my iced tea over it. I think since they don't sell fresh brewed iced tea and I was forced to purchase bottled iced tea, they should have been willing to give me a cup of ice with a lid .
I would have liked to order a bagel. We were told they didn’t have any bagels. One of employees asked another in Spanish “oh you don’t feel like making it? “ The employee replied yes. The employees here are as lazy as they come. Guava & Jave needs to do better.
It's an airport kiosk so not much to expect somehow the bar was set even lower. The cappuccino was the worst I ever had they didn't include it in my first order. It was basically a watered down latte and cold as in room temperature. I tried to return someone's wallet they did not understand that's what I was doing. Security told me to leave it with them anyway. There are better options nearby to get coffee. Don't waste your time and money
My iced latte was 60% ice. Not worth it considering the price. Went here because there wasn’t a Starbucks in sight .
The service was good. The coffee was bitter, cold, and gritty. I'm not sure how that all happened. It's coffee. But it was undrinkable. Went in the garbage after I tried to add a bunch of sweetener to it and it still tasted nasty.
Very expensive! Two bagels, two coffees, and a muffin was over $30 after tip. The bagels were very chewy and hard to bite, basically had to rip it apart which was messy and got cream cheese everywhere. The muffin was kind of damp and bready. The coffee was decent and the staff was friendly enough but overall not worth it. I've had better bagels from the grocery store "expiring soon" section.
I was there 6/24/2024 around 2pm. I ordered a pastry. When I was ready to eat my pastry all the filling had fell into the bottom of the bag and my pastry was turned over loose in the bag. This was due to poor bagging from the worker. I went back to them and asked if my pastry could be put in the bag correctly. He made accommodations, and made me a new one, however it was not on the wax paper just in the bag loose. I suggest pastries she be put in a plastic container . They serve too many people a day to be half bagging those expensive pastries. USE PLASTIC containers !

Sunday 5/18/25 - My coworker just purchased a coffee. I walked over as she just finished paying and tried ordering the same thing. Cashier said hes not serving coffee anymore. It was 6:53pm and she just got her coffee. (Online says they close 8:30pm.) The machine was still on and not cleaned yet, it wouldnt have bothered him to make one more coffee. I decided to walk away and not purchase pasty either since he couldnt be bothered to do his job. Spent my money next door at farm2air market! Farm2Air Market has a really nice cappuchino machine to purchase coffee from and workers who like to do their job.
Coffee ☕ is terrible. I returned the coffee without asking for refund. Just to let the person in charge know about the quality issue with their coffee. He was rude on his take.
I would like to say this place is so overprice and the quality of the coffee. Total 75$ for 4 nasty coffees (please provide better coffee). The coffee is better in the airplane.... Croissants were good, the service was quick but quality so bad... Starbucks 4 can eat in the airport for 50$ ... just get better coffee to make kindly

Cold overpriced food and nowhere to sit.
Don’t understand why a coffee shop starts to close up at 6:30 PM when they close at 8:30 PM. People need their espressos!
Terrible service!!! If possible I'll give this place --5 stars. They just don't want to work so don't bother to ask for a smothie if they already wash the blender. It is incredible this happens in the United States of America
As I was looking forward to a good sandwich it was not satisfying but it was not the worst the chicken was not cooked (fake microwave)and it was very sloppy...
$4 for a fountain soda. Greedy business and I hold airport partially responsible because there are so few competitors to keep these thieves from charging so much.
Bagel sandwich kind of gross, didn’t finish it. Biggest concern, lady making my food was wearing gloves and stopped to take a call on her cell phone in the middle of making it. Is this part of food safety class? Employees seemed bothered to help anyone.
Dirty counters. Discourteous staff serving stale food. Limited menu to be only 1 of 3 dining options on Concourse G at MIA.
Good Bacon, egg & cheese sandwich But I swear THE WORST CAFE CON LECHE!
The most disgusting ice coffee. Never try this....$5 in the trash... Chance the recipe!!! Urgent 911.
Don’t buy anything here, selling not fresh food.
bad service at the time of attending, vulgar language, and borrowing a pen to write something at the time, they answer you very hateful. and they easily tell you not to bother.Si
Everything is terrible. The muffins are burnt and dried out. The breakfast sandwiches are expired costco deli items. The coffee menu is slim compared to something like starbucks and the coffee itself tastes burnt. The service is very slow.
10am, 4 people in line and half an hour of waiting in the line to order my coffee! You can’t have one person preparing coffee, breakfast, cashier, serving, cleaning up etc alone!! The lady was very nice but surely you need more staff here! Also note that there are no chairs to eat your food or drink your coffee.
When you lose the concourse food lottery, you end up flying out of G concourse at MIA. There is no Starbucks. There is only pain and "Guava &..." uh, can't read the 2nd word because purple and green clash so bad. Anyway, great service and everyone there is working hard to scrape your coffee off the bottom of last night's pot.
the price written 12:59. but they charge me 14:99 each
awful experience, muffin was dry i almost choked on it, good thing kid knows cpr or i wouldn’t have made my flight home! Don’t get me started on the smoothie, took them 15 minutes before they even realized i ordered it! Talk about a rip off!!
The staff are very temperamental and rude. They rush you to order even if you are the only one in line. Their sanitary habits are non existent. Not one person washed their hands or put on gloves when handling the food or drinks. And when asked if cream cheese was put on the bagel they replied yes and instead I was given a side. The bagel was toasted until it it was burnt to perfection and they gave me a hard time when I tried to ask for another one.
$18 for a tuna sandwich and a roast turkey sandwich that tasted like we were eating cardboard. What a rip off. We were in flight when we started to eat, so there was no going back to complain. Never again. Next time we'll eat before we go, or purchase on the plane. Food on the plane HAD to be better than what we bought at Guava Java.
I paid for two sandwiches a ice coffee and a water and was handed one sandwich that I then gave to my wife to board with. I waited a few minutes for my other sandwich and was told it was in the bag. When boarding I called my wife to ask was my sandwich in the bag and it wasn't. The phone number you have online and the receipt doesn't work.
I got very sick from the food. I had a turkey sausage sandwich and coffee with cream on 1/30/25.
Charged us but did not give our coffee and pastry until we had to ask for it. Keep in mind that, there was no line or people waiting and the three guys were just having a good time amongst themselves while we patiently waited. Horrible service and rude.
Food is terrible!! Sandwich was ice cold (even though they heated it up). Pastry was sticky like glue.
They do not take Card, on purpose. Cash only. No sign says so. Will 'act' like they are trying and tell you their system is down. Food & coffee is below average.
The customer service was not good, the ladies were very unprofessional in how they communicated with the customers and looked annoyed. The food was not the best I wouldn’t recommend getting their sandwiches.
I don’t know how to put it in a nice way, but first of all their coffee tastes like water. I’ve never tasted a bad coffee like this one in my life and I’m a big coffee drinker! Secondly, I really hope the business owner takes this recommendation to their heart, as they MUST CHANGE their coffee cups! It’s ridiculous that the kid doesn’t have a spot that you can drink from, but instead each time you want to take a sip you have to get the lid off🤯🤯🤯! Seriously? Even plastic cups at Costco has a better, stronger cup where you can sip off from lid, without taking it off every time and getting coffee drops on clothes from the lid! For the prices they charge for coffees, they can get the best coffee cups are available out there, but instead they cheap out! Wish took a picture of their cheap coffee cups and posted here. Even grocery stores have better coffee cups than them!
This was the worst coffee experience I've ever had. The water used for the Americano was not just hot, but borderline dangerous. I had to wait nearly 20 mins for my drink to be safe to drink. the temperature would have been fine if the cup used was not so cheap and flimsy . The cap fell off multiple times resulting in my spilling the hot liquid all over my chest and airport seat. I cannot unrecommended this place more. Borderline dangerous, unethical, and down right a rip off for $4. (They also use Costco products for all their ingredients but upcharge through the nose. )
Let me just tell you that those women are the rudest people I’ve dealt with in Miami. The food and coffee is mediocre at best and very expensive.
Worst coffee I have ever tasted. I’d much rather drink used engine oil. It’d probably taste better
Coffee is horrible. Should be more careful when selling to customers. Bad coffee over heated.
They refused to give me hot water for my babies bottle, they said I need to purchase something. Absolutely zero empathy. The man working there (leider) claimed he would get fired if he gave me a very small amount of boiling water. however also said he was acting manager at the time and was being watched by his boss on CCTV. Whoever is the boss of this place is clearly scaring the staff to offer out a basic human right (water!) madness.
Wouldn't give me a complimentary cup of hot water for my own tea bag when purchasing a croissant and latte, insisted on charging me the full price of a tea. That's ridiculous, so I cancelled my entire order.
Extremely rude customer service! Purchased 7 grande lattes and two juices, spent more than $70 and still wouldn’t give plain hot water! They could be nicer about it instead of being very rude in the way they speak to you, especially the lady! Horrible horrible service! Also guava juice was completely watered down! Do not get it, not worth the money you pay for it:
I usually don't write a review but today I would like to share my experience. I am very disappointed with service on guava Java in Miami international airport, at counter F. One of the members who is taking my order was very rude, I asked the same service in different place at the same airport and I being very polite amd nice. I order 2 coffe and wanted to get hot water not for free, ,to purchase. I was told by guy who was taking the order that they are not selling hot water, I asked for green tea, I was given black tea. When I mentioned that I specifically asked for green, the lady who is making my coffee explained that they don't have it but I can have hot water.now is interesting part, the guy reimbursed me 3dollars and got hot water and looked at me and just poured it out.he didn't apologized or anything, showing his attitude..first of all ,I didn't ask for free. The next place sold me just a hot water for 54 cents. As being said, even everything looked very delicious because of this very rude employee, I would never make any purchase in this place. Thank you!
Food wasn't cooked all the way and the meat on my turkey croissant and my girlfriends chipotle chicken was still cold. Pastry was sticky in a bad way and gross. Also super overpriced.
I am Cuban, as Cuban as they come but I am tired of the service Cuban workers constantly give out in this airport. I stood there at the counter waiting for the two ladies to finish talking about their lives. Once one of them noticed I was standing there says to me “hello” with the same passion you would give that one family member not one likes showing up unannounced to your party. She took my order and when she gave me the coffee there was not even a “here you go” or “thank you” she just continued gossiping with the other person. Super unprofessional.
Terrible service & terrible food quality. I ordered an everything bagel & it was rock hard...inedible...had to throw it away.
They are serving Costco muffins, danish and croissants at a huge market up. We saw the clerk refilling the bakery case with all these items from Costco. The coffee was undrinkable. Save your money! It you are flying out of terminal F eat before you go. There is absolutely no good food options.
After my flight on southwest was delayed 4 times from a boarding of 5:45 pm to 10:02pm, i decided to get 3 sandwiches to feed myself, husband, and granddaughter. We spent $60 on 3 sandwiches and 2 pops. Only 2 sandwiches were made for me and I told the worker she was missing my sandwich. Ms Carmen walked off leaving us un served and the cashier had to make our last sandwich. So disrespectful and I will never return to spend my money at a place that hires disrespectful people like Carmen! Never again Carmen! I was tired and work too hard to earn my money just to spend it at a place with no customer service and disrespect! Miami Airport across from gate G9.
The lady with glass who was working on 1/18/2026 at 2:45 is the worst employee, I can bet that. Her service was worst. She was very rude and was not helping at all. I even gave the tip looking at hard work of the lady that was making coffee. The lady that was working in coffee section was awesome but the lady that was working in register was worst of all. Not sure how she got hired at such good place.
The guy was like a black cloud, lazy, didn't want to be there, sluggish, lady who made my coff was moving slower than a 3 year old. I got a coffee and tasted water down.
