Amazingly good food! Service was extremely good they were super busy and I still got my food within 5 minutes of ordering. Green salsa was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more things. Menu is big. Candy and ice cream treats available at the counter.

Crowded vibe, loud TV with soccer or some other sport. Prices reasonable, and the food was unexpectedly high quality and delicious. I got a grilled tilapia burrito, which is easy to get wrong, but I wolfed it down. I love the smokey, spice rojo sauce, my wife loves the verde.

great place and fast service. the food was delicious. I had a taco salad and ceviche tostada. while I waited they handed me some fresh watermelon. NICE!!! that made my lunch and the hot day vanished as I ate that water melon. thanks and keep up the good work and service. come here for lunch, no line and dine in our take out. they get a big 5 stars+

The place is very clean with comfortable seating. I had the carnitas tacos plate. The carnitas tasted fantastic. The only reason I took off a star is because the red salsa and green salsa were only so-so. For me, a truly great Mexican restaurant has to have good salsa. I would definitely eat here again. The pictures I saw on Google reviews didn't do it justice. The prices are very reasonable. Went there again and had a breakfast burrito. Although the burrito was very plain looking, it was very large and tasted great. The potatoes were soft but not mushy, the eggs were soft and not overcooked, and the cheese complemented the proteins very well. Once again I wish that they had better red sauce and green sauce.

Nostalgia brought us here seeking Mexican candy, snacks and sodas in our new neighborhood and we were pleasantly satiated. The station they play on their outdoor speakers churn out songs from my childhood and the staffs warm reception overrides that nothing will ever beat my own mamás cooking, but at least I can get my sweet tooth fill at this local mom and pop shop in Oak Park.

We are visiting California and saw the reviews on this place were ok. But I dont think Im on the same place. The lady that helped us was really nice but the food was not up to the same customer service par. We ordered $119.00 worth of food and the only good thing was the chicken torta one of us ordered. 3 people ordered sopes and they sope was hard on everyone's plates, the carnitas on them were ok though. My daughters did not want to finish them. My husband and I had al pastor tacos, one of my tacos was very chewi and couldn't even eat it. My husband's were good he said. I think we paid too much for the quality of food. The tables were not dirty but not clean either. The fake flower decorations were dusty and looked old. I would not come here again nor do I recommend this place except if you are eating a chicken tortA!

A week ago I ordered seafood soup and it tasted like beef broth, I called the restaurant and explained my dissatisfaction, and that they should be more careful, today 04/23/2025 I ordered beef soup, it tasted like chicken broth, in my opinion, I think they use the same broth for all kinds of soups (beef, chicken or seafood) and the cilantro is not cilantro😡 I cannot generalize the food, but the broths or soups are No Good!!!!!

What us a chicken bone doing in pork? Food was served by a 3rd grader. Husband said his food had no taste, rice was dry and beans were watery.

Nothing that you would expect in Oak Park. DO NOT order the Nachos. Complete rip off. Consisted of about only a dozen chips CHEESE SAUCE, Pico and sour cream. They do not state anywhere that it is cheese sauce, which is NASTY. I honestly expected better from a seemingly "authentic" Mexican eatery. Ground beef Tacos were good. Margaritas across the street is SO much better. Cleaner all the way around.

I could not finish my meal, it was so bad. This was the 2nd worst Mexican food I have ever had (1st was Mexican food in Idaho; just don't do it, okay?) and I am so sorry to write this review, but I must be honest. I live down the street from this place and often walk by it. No one is ever inside. And now I know why. Please, for the love of SoCal, change your food.

The food smells like it was frying on 20th century oil. The atmosphere is one star because when you entering the store me personally, I saw a cockroach just hanging around on the floor and going from dining room to the kitchen. Also, the place looks like you are in homeless shelter on the street.

I ordered 3 tacos ala cart and was given and charged for, the 3 taco dinner. The shredded beef was unbelievably dry and had absolutely no flavor, as well as the beans and rice. It was terrible and ended up in the garbage. I won't be going back any time soon.
