Great coffee- purchased an almond milk cafe au lait with sf mocha and it was amazing! The baked goods not so much, but it may have just been that one particular item! Either way thank goodness Morro Bay or the central coast rather has some semblance of modernity with a drive through available!

Staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable about the items available. Drinks always taste superb!! I love it that they have low carb smoothies. I usually get the low carb choc smoothie with sugar free peppermint syrup...best peppermint mocha drink I've ever had!!!

The first time I saw a Human Bean was in Arizona. I was super excited to see one in the San Luis Obispo area. Great coffee, great service, and definitely worth the stop.

The staff are friendly, fast, and efficient. We tried the breakfast burritos and they were really tasty, and the little candy on top of our coffees was a nice extra touch. Okay, so this morning I was a little upset when my coffee was stolen on the beach this morning. Thank God the nice young man at the counter made me another! You’ve got to try the mexi mocha blended with whipped cream…. One of the best things I’ve ever tasted!!! Apparently Mr. Squirrel was happy too. Lol Look at him drinking it with his eyes closed… you can’t get mad at that xD Okay I’m adding to this review. I absolutely love the mexi mocha… but every so often someone will make it so nauseatingly sweet that it’s like literally pouring a bag of raw sugar down my throat. Please stop doing that!!!! Otherwise…. It’s wonderful and I love it. Thank you

UPDATE: I have no idea what is going on with The Human Bean, coffee shop, in Morro Bay, CA. Over the last few weeks the quality of their service and the quality of their coffee products have decreased significantly. I order a hot, 16oz, oat milk latte, add a double shot. That is supposed to be seriously strong coffee. Unfortunately, this has not been the case the last three times I have visited. Today, I attempted to address the issue again. Only to be asked if there was anything else I wanted. No confirmation that they would endure the quality of the product. When the server handed the coffee to me she did so without putting a temperature sleeve on it. I went to reach for it and had to put it down quickly because it was burning my hand. I asked for a sleeve and she said, "Oh, you need a sleeve?" This comment made me feel wasteful and not being concerned about the environment. However, I had to remind myself, I am 72 years old, my skin is thinning, and better to protect myself than end up dumping hot coffee on myself. The attitude, and service, and the quality of service is extremely disappointing in such a short period of time being opened up, here, in Morro Bay. I will not be returning to this location. Even though I have my third reward coming (yes that is how often I visit). Instead I will take my business back to Coastal Peaks. I have frequented Coastal Peaks for over 2 years and gave NEVER had the issues I have had at The Human Bean. FIRST IMPRESSION DID NOT HOLD OVER THE TEST OF TIME: Super addition to Morro Bay's coffee establishments. Great for all of us that head out to work to have a drive thru to get coffee on our way out. The coffee is great. The service is superb. Makes my day to head stopping by The Human Bean. And - love their discount scan code payment options.

The coffee is great, like really good. But the food is borderline. I ordered an egg, cheese and bacon sandwich and the bacon is gross, egg wasnt great.. Coffee is amazing tho so I really hope they improve the breakfast

Great coffee and service is pretty good. Just keep a close eye on what they charge you so you don't get scammed like myself Replying to the owner here: Thank you for your response! The drink we ordered was how we ordered it, as we clarified at the register in time that it didn't need to be remade, but were charged $.75 because of the cashiers mistake. I said no foam and we were charged for cold foam, hence my verbage of scammed. I understand it's highly likely that is was a mistake that the cashier thought they would get away with. We confirmed that today when we came back and were charged the correct amount of $4 for our small cappuccino. We enjoy it and will be back again! :) we appreciate everyone's hard work and love the little candies.

So that's $7.50 for a specialty hot mocha and a large specialty iced coffee. They put a chocolate covered coffee bean on top of the lid, so fun presentation. If you are looking for a high-end drive thru coffee kiosk, this is a good one.

As of late the quality of the coffee has been trending down in my opinion and for the price point it is way too expensive for what you are getting. In addition with update of the human bean application I lost $35 dollars worth of rewards and I find this to be very charlatan behavior. Do better bean!

Went through drive through at 8:30 this morning. I ordered 1 seasonal drink, 1 morning bun, and 1 burrito. I paid and had the order handed to me and that is when I realized they did not get the morning bun on the order. If there were prices on the special signs and for the food the customer would be able to correct this problem as they paid, but because I have no idea how much my order should have been I was not able to calculate that they missed an item. I decided to leave without the morning bun. I pulled forward a little to clear the drive through window and leaned over to put my drink into the cup holder and the lid was not on the drink properly so it dropped into the cup holder in a fumbled way, lid on the ground, about half the coffee spilled all over the car. Ate the burrito and found that the first few bites were entirely bacon, the next bites entirely egg and the last bites entirely potato and salsa. Terrible experience.

The worst coffee I have ever had absolutely disgusting, burnt, watered down. There must be no quality control for this chain. So gross seriously avoid at all costs.

Ordered 2 Mexican coffees today both my husband and brother were really disappointed. The drinks did not taste good! I don’t think the young lady knew what she was doing! It’s a shame when your looking forward to something and don’t get what you were expecting!

Might be the worst coffee I've ever had. I came around 2pm, not busy at all and I ordered two drinks. It tasted like water mixed with expresso, both drinks were disgusting. I'm not one for leaving negative reviews but definitely the saddest coffee of my life.

Wow this coffee is bad. Ive been 3 times now so not for lack of trying to give this chain a chance. Very burnt very watered down. Staff was rude, and seeming not to pay attention. Worst cup of coffee ive ever had. This place is horrible so disappointed!
