We are visiting for work, and Amber Cove was recommended to us by some locals. Do not let the outside appearance fool you because the inside is beautifully represented for a fine dining experience. Our server Dave was unbelievable! He was personable, attentive and gave excellent descriptions of the food. Their chef is innovative and his food is one of a kind! Dessert is a must, so save room. The owner also came to our table for a visit which was such a nice touch. Highly recommend and we will be back next year!
Please note that many older reviews reflect the previous restaurant, not the current one. Our meal here was a wonderful surprise. The food was exceptional from start to finish, and the service matched it. We chose to sit outside and, while pleasant, there was more traffic noise than expected for a small strip mall setting. The amuse-bouche was a crab cake bite that was absolutely superb. The beet salad that followed was as flavorful as it was beautiful, with incredibly fresh herbs that made a noticeable difference. For our main course, we had the Sole en Croûte, which was fantastic. The accompanying sauce and the white asparagus were both outstanding. Dessert was the Key Lime Statue, an excellent finish that delivered bright flavor without being overly sweet. I would rate the food here among the very best in Naples. Our dinner could stand alongside top meals from notable establishments like Sails, Del Mar, and Mediterrano. Highly recommended!
Amber Cove gave us the best experience for our Anniversary. Our waiter Seth was so instrumental. My husband and I both agreed that we have never had a better waiter! The owner was a delight as well. Mingling with all of the customers and informing us of the detailed delicious menu. My entree was spot on perfect. Thank you Amber Cove! We'll be back!
We visited Naples for a long weekend in September 2025 and were lucky to discover Amber Cove, recommended by a friend. What a gem! The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and both owner Tim Herman and Executive Chef Jehad Alsharabini spent time with us, which made the evening extra special. Our group of eight tried a range of dishes. Our favorites included the 32-Hour Short Ribs, Faroe Islands Salmon, Lobster Linguine and the spectacular Sea Bass. Every dish was outstanding. Desserts were equally memorable, especially the deconstructed baklava cheesecake. The wine list is excellent and well-priced; I loved the White Burgundy Chablis. Spectacular food, service, and value in a fine dining setting. Highly recommended! Naples is lucky to have Amber Cove!
Amazing food. The chef and kitchen are true experts. The sea bass was perfect. Best ever. Fish/Crab cake as well as the Beet salad simply could not have been improved. Treat yourself!
This was our first experience at Amber Cove restaurant. It was fabulous! We were greeted by Seth, who was our server as well. He was terrific very helpful in explaining some of the dishes, had a great sense of humor, and I would say one of the best servers we’ve ever had. My husband got the halibut special and I got the short rib. Everything about the meal was wonderful.
We tried out Amber Cove last night for the first time to try out a sampling of their feature menu items on their Sizzle Dining Menu. Every detail was delightful! We began with the innovative and beautifully presented beet composition and fish cake starters; then both enjoyed the Short Robs as Mains; and finished with the chocolate mousse and iced cream sundae. The owner Tim checked on us several times and our server Seth was a gem. We wish them all the best of luck and look forward to many more wonderful meals at Amber Cove! A&R
Absolutely incredible dishes, everything we ordered was so delicious from the appetizers to the desserts! We got the short ribs, seabass, and salmon for meals! Our server Shannon was also awesome, and even the owner came over and chatted with us and walked us through the whole menu! overall great experience, will definitely be back again!
My family and I had the most delicious dinner at Amber Cove Restaurant last night. I have not had lamb so perfectly prepared before. It certainly set a new standard. I also enjoyed every well balanced bite of the tuna tataki. My husband enjoyed everything he ordered as well. The soft shell crab and prawns were absolutely perfect! I cannot overstate the talent in this kitchen.
Mom & I say at the bar (as usual when this space was KC Bistro). Shannon was behind the bar waiting on us (also as usual). She is knowledgeable & very friendly & attentive! We met the new owner Tim, who was kind & informative & obviously proud of his new endeavor! The space looks similar/familiar & neat & clean. The food is contemporary & flavorful & beautiful to look at! They kept some of the favorites & classics of the KC menu, but added their own twist. Mom had the mushroom bisque (like she always has when it was KC Bistro)...it had a new truffle whip dollop & it was (still) delicious! I had the beet salad, that was also delicious! They whipped the goat cheese & added a little truffle to it... I loved it! Mom had the miso sea bass & it was gorgeous! The portion was very satisfying! We can't wait to go back!

I always take the position that a new restaurant deserves a couple of months before reviewing because there is a learning period. This place is an exception. Service was perfect (Seth). Group of five. We had wagyu meatballs and mushroom bisque appetizers. They were both top notch. The group had Short ribs, Pork Chops and Lobster linguine. Everyone loved their meals. The chef and owner came and talked to us and were gracious and friendly. The comments on the entrees could not have been more positive. We finished with a desert selection of Carrot Cake, tiramisu, and key lime Bar which were all delicious. We will make this a regular stop!
Thanks to Chef Jehad, the food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the lobster linguine and the ahi tataki. From our waitress to the owner, everyone ensured we had a flawless experience. Can't wait to be back!!! :)
Exceptional… Finding a place where quality is the norm is not easy, outstanding service and warming welcoming making you feel comfortable, the food is the star and it won’t disappoint, every plate is crafted with precision and beauty, with flavor like no other, We had the ahí tuna tataki and the fish and crab cake… delicious The hazelnut grouper and the halibut special delicious in every bite And the dessert? The dark chocolate mousse is a great final for a perfect… can’t wait to come back to try more dishes The drinks are good too… the brinny martini was asom and so the pomegranate cosmo absolutely delicious
Lovely new restaurant. Very pleasant staff and the owner came by often to be sure we were happy. Food was quite good. We had the crab cake and grouper.

The food at this establishment is just incredible. We came for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Service was extremely friendly. The Ahi Tuna is a must and they had this goat cheese thingy with caramelized bacon jam. AMAZING!
This restaurant is clearly one of the best in Naples. If you liked Sails, The Grill at the Ritz, or Bha Bha, you will love this restaurant. The food and service is of the same high quality. The Chef's creation are delicious, creative and well presented. Don't be fooled just because it is located in a shopping center; the food and service are well worth it.

An all round great experience. We were a table of 10 however the server Seth never skipped a bit in delivery and with a high level of service with a smile. We enjoyed the mushroom bisque, heirloom beets, which tataki as starters. All exceptional. Entrees included Oceanic Discovery special, salmon, seabass and grouper. Outstanding for all.

We were a little skeptical. Quickly became fans. Tremendous service and treatment. Sea bass was very very good. The special (surf and surf) was also great. Upscale, but worth it. Not one issue.
We have lived here for over 40 years and this was our first visit. So impressed with the menu, wonderful options which made it hard to narrow it down. I started with a beet salad, so different than anything I’ve had before, but absolutely delicious. My husband had the date appetizer and loved it. We both ended up ordering the sea bass because it was highly recommended by friends. Definitely was the best we’ve had here in Naples. We tried dessert as well, peach cobbler and lemon cello cake, both great! Looking forward to another trip to try more items.
My family and I had a special night to celebrate and everyone at Amber Cove made it that much more special. Food was fantastic, staff was great! Definitely going back!
My wife and I were very pleased to discover this wonderful fine dining restaurant in North Naples. Several factors contributed to a very positive experience. First, our server was knowledgeable and professional. Second, the menu and food were excellent. Chef JE’s culinary expertise was readily apparent. Third, the owner, Tim Herman, dropped by our table to solicit our feedback. As shown on their website, he has considerable hospitality experience in fine dining establishments. Fourth, the atmosphere was welcoming; and table spacing and acoustics enabled the entire table of guests to enjoy a good conversation.
New restaurant that took over the spot fro. KC American Grill. Has great American menu well prepared at prices typical of nicer dining establishments. All of my friends loved their main courses and appetizers, and would most certainly return. I believe i was told by the owner that the head chef used to work at Baleen?
It's amazing what you find in strip malls in Naples Florida. This restaurant is a wonderful experience across the board. We had a wonderful time and Highly recommend. Thank you Peter! We had such a lovely and elegant dinner! I highly recommend the asian wagyu meatball appetizer. Amazing how intricate the flavor of a well-dressed meatball can be!! Grouper was also incredibly fresh, delicious, and perfectly paired with the wine they recommended. But above all, Tim's warm reception and his team's impeccable service made the evening memorable and thoroughly enjoyable.
My dinner (salmon) was excellent and the service was wonderful. The server gave us plenty of time for each course while continuing to check in with how dinner was going. Nothing was rushed and everything was personal. That night in June we discovered our usual KC Bistro was now in transition to new management to be Amber Cove. Our friends also told us that their experience was that the food at Amber Cove was upscale to KC Bistro. So, we decided to host our Summer Dining Club there to give our diners a wonderful, new, upscale dining experience with a limited menu to make it more practical to give good service and upscale food to 37 people. Tim Herman, the new owner, paid a lot of attention to detail as we planned the event. It has taken awhile to give feedback because we left on a trip that next morning and I wanted to take time to get feedback from many of the diners. The consensus is that the food was very good and clearly upscale. The service was exceptional and personal for each table. The atmosphere was calm and elegant--often hard to find when you are serving 37 people.
I agree with the reviews on the beautiful food presentation, delicious taste, exceptional menu, kind and attentive service, caring proprietors and warm ambiance. Prices and value are reasonable and aligned. Period. This is an exceptional addition to the Naples restaurant community
This may be the best food and service I've had in Naples. Mushroom soup, beet salad, four protein Paillard. WOW! Well done to Chef, Wait Staff Stu and Owner Tim.
Had our first visit to Amber Cove this evening…amazing food! While many of the entrees seem like traditional restaurant offerings, Chef J adds creativity and flare..making every bite enjoyable, one of the best meals we’ve had in Naples….will be back again& again! Wishing the best for Tim and the team at this new Naples restaurant!

Ate Friday night at Amber Cove with a party of 8. We had incredible food, with chef-driven imagination, and impeccable service. The seabass is one of the best I have ever had. On par with Bleu Provence where we dined the previous night. Our Amber Cove bill with two bottles of wine was below $100 a person. An unbelievable value and fine dining experience. The owner, as well as the chef, both visited our table.
From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place is special. Our server made us feel more like special guests rather than customers. The ambiance was equally impressive—stylish without trying too hard. The food? Simply outstanding. Our dinner looked like it belonged in a gallery and tasted even better-cooked with obvious skill and attention to details. Tim Herman, the owner stop by and in the course of conversation learned it was my birthday. Tim had the chef prepare a magical dessert. If you are traveling to or live in the Naples area and you’re looking for a dinning experience Amber Cove reminds you why dining out is such a joy.
Our first visit to Amber Cove but it won’t be our last! Owner Tim met us at the door to seat us. What a nice gentleman who took as much time as needed to explain things to us. I personally had the short ribs, and I can say with no hesitation they were as good as any I’ve had anywhere! This might be one of our favorites going forward…..
The food was absolutely delicious. Surroundings were very elegant and comfortable. Seth was our server and he was outstanding. Tim, the owner greeted us and was very attentive and informative throughout our visit. The chef actually came out and presented us with our meal. It will be our new favorite!
We had our first experience last night at this new restaurant. I cannot say enough good things about our dinner. The food was over the top amazing!! There was not one bite that I did not truly enjoy. We ordered almost every App on the menu and were thrilled. Desserts were so good! he staff are professional and attentive. This is a wonderful hidden gem in Naples. I see it being our new favorite in short order. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The servicer is 7year employee and his service was outstanding even the owner came to the table during are meal. He even delivered are Anniversary dessert and it 100% on point. A definite 100% all around outstanding evening.
Outstanding service, atmosphere and dinner. The owner greeted us, explained the menu and was a most gracious host. Our server was most attentive. The chef outdid himself with delicious food and superior presentation. We had a wonderful evening and will return in the future.
Hidden gem in North Naples. Almost everything, including the service was perfect. Calm atmosphere with really nice music. The bar seating is excellent. The only thing they need to change are those stark white LED lights in the dining area to something warmer. Do try the beet salad!
I had the scallops which were AMAZING but my boyfriends crusted chicken was not put together well, the flavor combinations didn't meld well at all and he couldn't eat it. Great service though!
If you’re familiar with the Pavilion Plaza at US-41 and Vanderbilt Beach Road, you might remember KC American Bistro, a long-time local favorite. The restaurant recently changed hands and has been reimagined as Amber Cove, now under new ownership. Since we had always enjoyed KC, we decided to give this new spot a try. Amber Cove is conveniently located near the movie theater, making it the perfect place to enjoy dinner before or after a show. The interior has been refreshed with a lighter, more coastal look that complements their seafood-forward menu. We arrived early before a movie, and the service was wonderfully attentive—the new owner even stopped by our table for a friendly chat, which was a nice personal touch. We sampled the Crab & Fish Cakes, Beet Salad, Hazelnut Grouper, and Lobster Linguine. The linguine was a bit sweet for my taste, but everything else was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. All in all, Amber Cove feels like a welcome addition to the North Naples dining scene—polished yet relaxed, with a menu that invites you to linger and explore. We’ll be back to see how it continues to evolve.
Family of 6, Christmas Eve. Atmosphere perfect, waiter great. The Caesar salad was good. It was downhill from there. The butter tasted like it had sugar and garlic in it. Every meal had sauces and flavours that were sweet, every single one we all agreed. My husbands fish, sea bass, tasted fishy and was not cooked through. It has mushy parts. We didn’t complain, Christmas Eve with a limited menu. We paid and left, won’t return. Just be ready for what you think is a gravy to be very sweet.
