went to this establishment a few days ago and had an amazing experience, Leo was an amazing bartender and made delicious margaritas, he also informed me with everything they also had one the menu and all the varieties he choose for me was phenomenal. Will definitely come back with more people.

My dining experience at the Mercato has historically been underwhelming, that is until I stumbled upon this place. Love at first sight & bite! From the ambiance to the menu and outstanding service, Waxins is a real treat! We will certainly be returning.

My visit to Waxin's Naples was fantastic from start to finish. I had a great time, and the food was a surprising excellence. The Swedish dishes were a highlight and did not disappoint – I highly recommend them! The atmosphere and service were both five-star, making for a truly memorable meal. A must-visit if you're in the area!

Waxin's is a true culinary delight! Do yourself a favor and eat here. Be sure to get the Swedish Style Caviar - the flavor is spectacular. Andrea the GM is lovely and originally from Sweden - something special in the heart of Naples, Florida.

My Friends and I went after a movie and had a wonderful time. The food, atmosphere, and service were amazing! Thank you Chris for the great service. We will be back!

I had an amazing experience at Waxin's in Naples, FL, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Leo, the bartender. From the moment I sat down, Leo made me feel welcome and taken care of. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable about the drink menu, but he also went out of his way to craft a cocktail that perfectly suited my taste—something refreshing and unique. His attention to detail and friendly personality really elevated the whole evening. Whether he was making great recommendations or just checking in to make sure everything was perfect, his service was truly top-notch. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it made the experience at Waxin's that much more enjoyable. Waxin’s is my new favorite happy hour spot in Mercato! I had an amazing experience thanks to our server, Jon. He was very friendly and welcoming, and also super knowledgeable on the menu and gave great recommendations. The Swedish meatballs were perfect and the half-off wine during happy hour sealed the deal. Will be back soon!

Weekend Vibes - a hidden gem for the Naples night life! Waxin’s turns into the place to be on the weekends! We came in late Friday night and ended up staying until close. The bar team Leo, Sophia, and Alyssa were absolutely electric—fast, friendly, and fun. They were mixing up creative cocktails all night long, and each one was better than the last. Start with their signature HOTSHOT it will blow you away and if you're feeling adventurous Sophia's signature cocktail is something special! By 10pm, the place transformed with music, lights, and an awesome energy that gave it an upscale club vibe without being over the top. It’s such a great mix of classy and lively. The bartenders kept the energy up, and you could tell they love what they do. Perfect spot for date night or meeting friends. Already planning to be back for next weekend!

John and Sofia were absolutely awesome! We came in for drinks after a lackluster birthday dinner at a fancy restaurant and this place completely blew away the customer service, drinks, and prices of that restaurant and John & Sofia really made our night special!

Great ladies night menu- Caesar salad, truffle fries and espresso martini for $15! Waxins is a great addition to Mercato

The Caesar salad is absolutely outstanding. Pasta dishes and steak excellent. The server was great but veryyyy slow to get your food. The food presentation is great. I hope they keep it up as it’s still new.

I am so happy to have this fabulous new restaurant in Mercato. The atmosphere is elegant and I am glad I wasn’t intimidated by the menu. IMHO the best seat in the house is at the bar. You’re in great hands with Tony but the entire bar staff is top notch. I highly recommend it.

The Swedish meatballs were great, along with the gravy and potatoes. The Wallengare was excellent as well. Our waiter was excellent. We sat outside, which can be a bit noisy with live music and the mall activities area out front. Will be back.

Overall, the experience was very good, even though the service was a bit slow. We weren’t in a hurry, so it didn’t affect our night, but based on other reviews it seems like they’re still working through some front-of-house timing issues. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, and they may just be slightly understaffed. The food was excellent across the board, and we would definitely return for a special occasion.

What a diverse menu of delicious plates from starters,main to dessert courses. First off the interior is contemporary, tastefully done n meant for comfort. Bartender Lauren super friendly and will deliver u a nice drink with a smile. I have no favorites but as I eat lunch im reading menu for my dinner the following eve. Happy they are in the Mercato.

What a great addition to Mercato. The lingonberry mule was by far the most refreshing mule I’ve ever had. The design of the restaurant is sleek and modern with a touch of old money. We have gone a few times and the servers are nice but could be more attentive. We often sit with empty drinks for an extended time. However, totally worth going.

The food was very good even though the menu has some very odd selections on offer. The drinks were also excellent, especially the Hot Shot, which I still can't wrap my head around. It was one of the strangest, yet delicious drinks I've had but I went down so weird that it had me scratching my head and wondering if I had just spilled it on the floor instead of down my throat. And that isn't meant as a negative! The staff was super friendly including the owner who came by our table to have a laugh with us.

We decided to checkout Waxin's. It was a nice and quiet evening and the service was great! We tried a couple of different dishes including Beef Rydberg, Wallenbergare and Ceviche. Overall the food was well presented and prepared. I'll definitely return to try the rest of the menu.

Great vibe. Poor bar servers. Not attentive. Not trained, certainly not friendly or accommodating. Consistent with our previous visit as well. No apparent management overseeing staff. Had to flag someone down for drinks. Too bad. Hopefully they sort it out.

“Wonderful food and a great atmosphere make this a spot worth visiting — the dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented. However, the kitchen was a bit slow (waited 40 minutes for mains), and the music volume was downright deafening, making conversation nearly impossible. I asked our server to lower it, but nothing changed. Ended up speaking directly to the manager (a somewhat tense exchange), and only then was the volume reduced to a reasonable level. It’s frustrating that basic adjustments like this require escalating to management — it really dampened what could have been a perfect evening. Management should proactively monitor sound levels so guests don’t have to fight for a comfortable experience.”

A little pricy but atmosphere is beautiful. We just had wine and an appetizer. We have had better burrata appetizers at other places nearby, it was a little simple for our liking. Did not try anything other food while we were there, but we will be coming back!

This was our third visit. The first was exceptional, second very good, this one just good. Food prep wasn’t perfect. Service was slower than previous visits. Seems like they may have a staffing issue. Still like the place and the menu, but, Waxin’s needs to step up the game. It’s pricy. It has to be consistent to warrant the prices.

Overall, it was a decent experience, mostly due to the wine and food. The staff on the other hand seem to lack in training. I’m absolutely thrilled anytime I see a menu that states a dish can be made vegan and grateful for the inclusion. Unfortunately, our water seemed to be hearing this for the first time when we asked about it. And after going to ask the kitchen, the best he came back with was making a pasta with olive oil and paow (a soy based plant protein). I ended up getting the west Palm beach salad with paow after looking through the menu myself, which was lovely. Additionally, we waited quite some time for our waiter to initially greet us and he was quite rushed and inattentive. Would love to come back and try something else given the staff is better able to accommodate a vegan meal that isn’t noodles and olive oil as the atmosphere was lovely and my boyfriend loved his meals as well (spaghetti bolognese).

We’ll start with the positive, the food is delicious. From starters to dessert, everything was so good. Kudos to the kitchen team because they really made this experience. Unfortunately the service end of things really hurt the evening. When we walked up to the restaurant, no one was up front and since it’s a bar area, it wasn’t clear if we needed to go in to get seated (apparently we didn’t). We walked past a bartender who just looked at us and didn’t say anything (wait here, etc) We even walked past the host/manager (not sure) who said hello, but then didn’t ask us if we needed help. We did eventually get seated. We were there early, so the restaurant had very few people. That being said, it did get busier as the night when on and as best we could tell, there was only one server. He was just polite, but not sure I can fault him, because he had very little help. This lead to every step of the evening just taking a long time. A while to get drinks, then starters, etc. The final bit was the entire front of the restaurant is open to the outside. This must be beautiful in the fall and winter, but not July. It was just hot and it made the evening uncomfortable. We can deal with the heat, we live in SWFL after all. But the service is hard to get past. Which stinks because the food is so good. It’s hard to imagine what it will be like in season when it’s super busy. Even though they have been open for months, maybe a little more time will help a few more details get sorted out.

In my opinion, the service should have been much more attentive for an establishment with a 600 dollar bottle of wine on the menu. More attention to detail. Side dishes delivered 25 minutes before the accompanying main dish. One refill during the 2 hour dinner in beverages. I was expecting much more for the atmosphere and price point. The food was on point but lacking in other areas.

Each stop at the bar: 1st time was slow service, cocktails on their menu not that good. Food was weird and not great. Beef Rydberg was basically poorly seasoned meat and a plate full on grilled onions. 2nd time, service was slow fish tacos were great however ice in the martini’s isn’t a martini. The Swedish meatballs? Dry, lean meat made them boring. 3rd time was not a charm and the last time. Service was again very slow and they had 6 customers at the bar, with 3-4 bartenders -zero excuses. Tried to order early dinner, had to wait 15 mins as they start at 5pm. Ok no problem. Grabbed a bartender, at 5:05, placed the order. 25 mins go by, nothing. Ask another bartender, no order was placed. 25 mins later food finally comes. Burger is small, fish tacos over cooked didn’t taste the same as the second visit. The bar staff is awful. Worst in Naples. Not kidding. They’re always talking to each other, never checking on customers with empty glasses. Too busy loading glassware and cutting lemons…where is the barback?? Management better figure their issues out or they’ll not make it. They have side tables by the bar that sit empty all the time, why? Can’t even order an appetizer at them, just drinks zero food. Bartender said the kitchen can’t handle the extra load!!! What?!?! From a few small tables?! We really looked forward to Waxins, now it’s a total let down.

A most disappointing evening! Party of 12. Advavance reservation and planning. Arrived on time and table was not set up. They scrambled to set up 6 high tops and I actually had to help. Table was against a wall so a server could not get to the other side of this long table. Everything had to be ordered and served over the shoulder of one side to reach the others. The menu appeared interesting and most everyone ordered different food. When dinners arrived they had no idea who ordered what! We played the "who got this and who got that game show". Items were missing and some got the wrong food. Food was cold and pasta dishes lacked a sufficient amount of sauce for the quantity of pasta. Overall most did not like there dishes and being cold added a nice touch. Management was lacking and it was apparent that they should not have accepted this reservation. The facilities were very pleasant but that is the only good thing I can say about our experience. At the end of the evening all but one couple said they would never return. I was embarrassed to have brought folks to this place. Based on our experience I would suggest you choose a different place to dine.

Our group felt Waxin's served below average food for the price. Two meals from our 8-top were sent back, and another meal showed up 15 minutes after the rest of our party was served. In general, we felt the dinners lacked much flavor. It's a lovely restaurant and bar -- if I go there again it will be for the drinks/ cocktails, and I'll skip the food.

Waxin’s has an average menu and I would consider the food to be average for the Naples area. The service was very good. The major problem is their drink prices. They are charging downtown Naples prices for drinks. For all martinis they charge $17 plus a $3 martini charge making your total drink charge $20. I consider the amount of liquor they deliver in a martini to be a short pour! I had one drink but refuse to ever drink alcohol there again. $20 for a martini is outrageous. As a result it will be a long time until I go to Waxin’s again for average food and expensive alcohol drinks.

Went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and ordered a bottle of wine, but we were served the wrong bottle. At the end of the night they tried to charge us for a bottle that was over $200 more than what we ordered! When we told the server he changed the price, but still had us pay more than the bottle we asked for. Anyone could of seen from the security camera that not only was the order verbalized, but I directly pointed to the bottle I wanted on the menu for the server to see. There was no manager presence the whole evening and no manager even came to address the situation of charging us for the wrong bottle. This is not somewhere I would consider being trustworthy.

Beautiful place but Staff is overwhelmed and undertrained. Only one bartender that took forever to make our drinks, then we moved to a table for dinner and Waited nearly 30 minutes and our server never showed up. We decided to go somewhere else to eat. 👎🏼

Very poor customer service. We seated at the bar and bartenders walked by without greeting or make contact eyes. They were busy talking each other without checking if customers needed something else. 😕 dont try this place.

Basing this review on my living experience in Stockholm Sweden, this restaurant is not a good representation of Swedish food. The food at Waxin's is averaged to poor and the service is horrible. They give you the excuse that it's a small kitchen, well that's their issue not the customers issue! I would not recommend this restaurant many other great restaurants in Naples! Unfortunately they're not a lot of Swedish restaurants; but if you go visit Stockholm you'll find many outstanding restaurants there that serve outstanding food and excellent service! Extremely disappointing experience, especially for a New Year’s Eve dinner charging $175 per person (not including drinks). Our server was rude and unfriendly from the start. When my boyfriend politely asked for his steak rare, she actually scoffed and said she prefers medium well. Unsurprisingly, his steak arrived exactly that way medium-well despite his clear request. For a restaurant charging these prices, that’s unacceptable. To make matters worse, after our food was dropped off, we did not see our original server for over 45 minutes. No check ins, no follow up, nothing. Eventually, a new server took over he was kind and professional but we were never told what happened to the original server or why we were abandoned mid service. ( apparently wasn’t feeling well) At the end of the night, the bill came to $476 for two people, and honestly, the food was average at best. Definitely not worth the price, and absolutely not worth the terrible service. For what is supposed to be a high end dining experience, this place was a complete letdown. Poor service, overpriced food, and zero accountability. A disgrace, especially on a night like New Year’s Eve.
