I was visiting from Seattle and am a big fan of public karaoke ... and this was fantastic. A fun, funky crowd each night I was there. Busy but not too crazy as far as karaoke can be. Good song selection and the bartenders, KJs, and security guy were all very nice. Definitely will be back.

This place rocks!!!. It’s chaotic and loud and crowded and when you make your way to the back it’s total sensory overload but wow, the staff runs a tight ship. Everybody in our party felt very taken care of. Booking the private room was SO easy, texting with the owner she was very responsive. We got the standard party package and it was 100% worth it, especially if your friends come thirsty like mine do lol. Staff was super helpful the whole night and the private room had a great vibe with plenty of seating for everyone. Maybe the technology is a little dated, but it adds to the charm for sure. Will be recommending to anyone looking to get a large group together for karaoke! Thank you Planet Rose for a great night!

I've gone to this bar many times with my girlfriend, and I'd have to say it's the best karaoke bar I've ever been to in the city. Great song selection, you can sing as many songs as you want, bartenders are friendly and welcoming. Good drink selection, but it's a little pricey. Any time I wanna go out and sing, I go here. This place can be a bit hit or miss, but when it hits, it really hits. Some nights are a bit low energy and you feel like leaving after a few minutes. But other nights have been insanely fun. There's no cover charge, and only $2 to put in a song request, so it's definitely worth popping in to see if the vibe is good that night.

It's decorated very pretty. Zebra print everywhere. It's has different private sections with a tv. I would consider this place laid back. It's a cute Karaoke Bar to be exact.

Went to AC for the weekend and was in the mood for some karaoke so we went here, this is the first time I’ve ever paid to enter a karaoke spot, the fee was $10, upon entering we realized you have to pay to sing, YES! it’s $2 per song! Not so bad? but factor in the waiting list on a Friday night which was about 1 hour and a half 🤯, you can skip the line but THATS A FEE AS WELL ! $20, to skip 10 people, $30 to go next 😱never again! The energy was decent, especially with the expensive drinks rolling, not a lot of POC when we went, so expect to hear pretty much the same type of music.

Bartenders were extremely rude to my special needs sister. Unacceptable.

The girl with dark hair is very rude. yelling at customers and being rude to them. This one time I was in a hallway chatting with another person, and this girl just literally pushed me aside as she was carrying stuff into the kitchen, instead of asking me to move aside. what kind of attitude is that?

I love both karaoke and alcohol and can easily say this is my least favorite bar and also my least favorite karaoke spot in New York, bar none. My friend has a trauma bond with this place from his college years so I've been dragged here like two dozen times. 1) I can't even count the number of times I have had a *completely* full drink (not 50% or 80%, like 95%) cleared out just 3 minutes after sitting down and putting it down. It is an extremely predatory practice meant to get people to buy more drinks but they are so heavy handed about it that you literally have to hold your drink in your hand the entire time you're there. 2) The folks working at the bar are mean. Like truly just mean to everyone. They clearly hate their customers and working at a bar. I've never seen them say even one remotely pleasant thing or smile. I think they think it is a "brand" but it is just a terrible experience to interact with. 3) From a karaoke perspective the sound quality is probably the worst I've experienced in New York.

Last time I was here I found a wad of gum on the bottom of my glass that definitely wasn’t mine and when I told the bartender she didn’t really seem to care. It also smells. There are way better karaoke bars in the city that there’s really no reason to go here.
