Famous original rays pizza If you just want a slice of pie and are in Times Square, you could do a lot worse than stopping at Rays. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the pizza is amazing. I will give you a heads up, however, the jalapeños are smoking hot! The pizza has a great smoked flavor and definitely among the best I have had. Great little place in the area to grab a bite. Order up a slice, fold it up, and get busy!

This place is always busy but it goes pretty fast. I had buffalo chicken pizza, and it was really good .can't go wrong with that cheese slice as well. They have lots of different choices for pizza and other food

There’s indoor and outdoor seating available, though the space can get a bit messy—several tables were dirty and the trash cans were overflowing during our visit. That said, the place was very busy, clearly popular with a steady flow of hungry customers. Despite the rush, the staff stayed friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated. Overall, a fast, flavorful option in a prime location, just be prepared for a bustling, no-frills experience.

Recently had taken our Cadette Girl Scout troop to Ray’s Pizza Times Square location. We arranged in advanced for reserved seating and our pizza order. We arrived 1/2 hour early and we were gladly accommodated. We were told we would need to wait a bit for our pizza which wasn’t an issue. The pizza still came out in record time. Since we are from PA many of our girls were not familiar with how great NYC pizza is. They truly loved it. Everything was delicious and the staff were fantastic. Each and everyone of us thanked the staff as we exited. We highly recommend Ray’s Pizza!! Best we’ve had in NYC!!!

This was my first time trying New York style pizza, and it was the best pizza I have ever had in my life. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to try NY style pizza. It's in a great location, too, since it was super fun to eat pizza right near Time Square. As i said earlier I highly recommend :)

I tried a slice of pepperoni pizza with a twist—pesto sauce—and it was a pleasant surprise. The flavors were bold and well-balanced, and the crust had just the right amount of crisp. It’s clear they care about quality, even for a quick grab-and-go slice. The only reason I’m holding back one star is that while the pizza was great, the overall experience could be elevated with a bit more seating or ambiance inside. That said, it’s a fantastic spot for a late-night snack or a casual bite while exploring the city. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving a classic New York slice with a little flair!

Pizza was ok. Not the New York pizza I have always heard about. After picking up your food there is no service. If you need it, you go get it. That also includes cleaning your table. I would eat there again but with lower expectations.

It’s called Famous for a reason! The service was great and we received our food quickly. NYC pizza is great if you love thin crust. It’s our favorite! The garlic knots were also great. Prices were decent for NYC near Times Square.

This place has been around for ever! I had pizza here in my early 20s when I was driving cab! It’s solid. They have about 10 choices of different kinds of pizza. I always just go with classic cheese. The dough is good and crispy yet soft. Sauce is upper level and the line goes quickly. Outside seat and a bathroom downstairs are 2 pluses!

If you are there you have to try it once just to see what a NY slice is, but in general is not the best slice you can get. the bbQ chicken was the best slice...the peperoni one was to sweet and the plain slice isnt that good. coming for europe you will find oute that everything here tastes bland

The pizza itself was amazing. However, I paid, tipped 50% and they forgot my order and that I even ordered to begin with. 6 people after me all got their orders and the cashier wanted to charge me again. Amazing Pizza but due to the service, I would not visit again.

Not your best pizza after this i couldn't eat anything else left a bad aftertaste. The fact they have some slices out then they toss in oven 😒 😐 🙄 to reheat ... I guess but how long have they been there 🤔 some didn't look fresh at all so I went with basic pepperoni and tried the buffalo chicken pizza.... not worth it ill stay in my lane .... CHICAGO PIZZA THE 👌 BEST .

Super slow. Nearly $8 for one slice of Margarita. The main part of the slice was separating from the crust. This would be better as a $1.50 pizza place. Need to up the quality of pizza and speed of service. No reason to go here with other great places nearby.
