Friendly staff, best matcha red bean smoothie I could find around the area.
Incredibly refreshing mango bingsu. They are very friendly and try their best to meet requests. Been here twice in a week and impressed with service on both counts.
Food: The mango bingsu is delicious. It consist of sweet mangos, 90% shaved ice and condensed milk. It's delicious, but is expensive for what it is. Drinks: The milk tea is nothing to rave about. It taste like any other milk tea. Service: You have a cashier. No one to bring your order to you. Ambience: The place looks new and can do with more stuff. The space is very open. They do need more seats and tables.
My sister took me here years ago to try Mango Bingsoo for the first time. I've never looked back. Every time I'm in East Bay, I try to stop by. Their shaved ice isn't just normal ice. It's milky. And their condense milk isn't straight condense milk. It's lighter and makes the dessert sweet but not overwhelmingly so. The staff is also nice and quick to serve and clean.
This is my to go place in Fremont! I love their milk tea!! My favorite is the 3m milk tea where they have boba, grass jelly, and pudding. This is the perfect combo and I don't have choose one over the other. I have a sweet tooth and I get 80% sweetness which is the perfect level for me. I tried other variations of their milk tea and they were all great. They have a new brown sugar boba latte and the drink is pretty with the brown sugar mixed with the milk. Their peach green tea with boba was also delicious. Their watermelon slushie was decent and definitely tastes like fresh watermelon. I personally prefer their milk tea drinks though. Popcorn chicken was hot and tasty. Pretty flavorful! I have been here several times during shelter in place for drinks takeout. A face mask is required to enter and everything in the store is very clean. It was pretty easy and fast ordering drinks in the store. I did go to the store once before COVID and I remember their mango bingsoo being on point too! It comes with plenty of mango and condensed milk. It was refreshing and delicious dessert! I would definitely be looking forward to trying their bingsoo again.
I am so glad that I found this teahouse, this will be my secret place to go on occasion for doing homework, chilling with friends, or go on sweet dates. Free Wi-Fi available during the business hours. Because this is located in a mall so there are plenty of free parking. Speak to their drinks, two words to describe --- Flavorful and refreshing! I love the classic milk with pearl (tapioca), recommend to order with light Ice, well balanced milk and tea, is the smoothest Iced milktea so far in East bay. And the another drink I highly recommend is the fresh iced fruit tea, not like the T-pump that made with artificial flavored syrups, in Mandro they use the real fruits, fresh lime juice, and tea, looks good and taste amazing. Come visit if you can, you won't regret.
Bingsoo craving fulfilled! Wow. This place is huge and their portions are even larger. Great place for a group and to share a variety of shaved ice and Asian desserts. The mango, strawberries and anything mochi are my faves! I could go on and on about this place. Just go! You won't regret it.
Best shaved ice I've ever had. My nephew loves this place. You have to try it to know the difference. The shaved ice is so fine, you don't feel the iciness at all. And it instantly melts in your mouth with whatever the flavor you ordered, so tasty and such satisfying feeling!
I’ve been to Mandro Tea House multiple times and tried their Korean shaved ice desserts (bingsu) on different visits. Over time, I’ve had the strawberry, original red bean, matcha red bean, chocolate, and mango flavors, and every one of them has been really good. The shaved ice is very fine and fluffy, not icy, and it melts smoothly in your mouth. The strawberry and mango flavors are fresh and refreshing, the matcha red bean has a nice balance without being too sweet, and the original red bean feels classic and comforting. The chocolate version is rich but still light enough to enjoy. I also like that the condensed milk is served on the side, so you can control the sweetness. Each portion is generous and easy to share, but also manageable if you’re having it as a dessert. I had never tried Korean shaved ice before coming here, and Mandro Tea House ended up being a great introduction. It’s a solid spot if you want something different from typical desserts and prefer something light and refreshing.
A Perfect Late-Night Treat for a Warm Evening! Snow Bowl was the perfect find for a late-night dessert craving on a warm holiday evening! The place was lively and full of people, which is always a good sign. It’s so great to have a local spot that gets the important details right, especially when it comes to their shaved ice. We ordered the Strawberry Bingsu and a Mango Sago to-go, and the bingsu was absolutely delicious—the ice was so fine and flavorful, and the boba was some of the best I've had. I was most impressed by how well they packaged it. It was still perfectly frozen and intact after a 10-minute drive home, which is amazing! While I do wish our Mango Sago had some real mango pieces in it, and the store was a bit warm, the quality of the bingsu more than made up for it. We had a small system glitch with our payment, but the staff was helpful about it. I'll happily return whenever I need a shaved ice fix!
Stopped by Mandro Tea House and ordered the strawberry and mango shaved ice—an absolute treat! The texture was incredibly light and fluffy, melting instantly with each spoonful. The fresh strawberry topping added a nice tartness, balancing the sweetness of the juicy mango pieces. Drizzled with a touch of condensed milk, it had the perfect creamy finish. The flavors were refreshing, not overly sweet, making it an ideal dessert for a warm day. The presentation was also beautiful, almost too pretty to eat. Overall, a delightful experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors!
Their shaved ice come in a great variety of flavors and taste really delicious—highly recommended!
Bingsu heaven is what this place is all about...wow...absolutely amazing. And for those who are wondering what Bingsu is...it's the most AMAZING shaved ice you will ever have. The texture and flavor is BETTER (yes, I said it..) than even the most AMAZING Hawaiian shaved ice. Try it today and you will be hooked...!
Surprise that this place open till 11. So packed at night. The shaved milk ice are so delicious. We ordered rice cake and mango flavor. Both are good. Ice are softy and creamy. Totally not those thick and big piece. Recommend to anyone who likes dessert.
Love this place. This is my go to spot for bingsu/bingsoo and will drive far just to get it. They even offer take out which is nice to bring home and enjoy instead of staying in the business when it is busy. I do sometimes which they had more flavors or allowed you to put new and different toppings on your orders, but otherwise the sweet treat is amazing.
We love this place! Especially for their bingsoo. We are regulars and have tried mango, strawberry, green tea and injeolmi so far but our favorite would have to be mango / the fruit flavors! We appreciate that they give you the condensed milk on the side to adjust the sweetness to your taste and like that it is not overly sweetened with unnatural syrups. Would also recommend their popcorn chicken and boba!
Edit: Still love it! Not sure what happened to the Milpitas one (temporarily closed last I checked) but this one still one of the best for snow. After my favorite snow dessert place closed down, my second favorite place (which is this one) is now my favorite. I love coming here for the snow dessert. It's very fine grained so it does look and taste like snow. I don't come here for the drinks so I can't say much about that but for the snow or bingsu (Korean term) this is amazing.
Frankly, the best Bingsoo I've had! Even better than the one I tried in Koreatown in LA. The ice is just so powdery soft. Quite a luxurious mouth feel with every bite. Freshest ingredients for toppings elevated the entire decadent experience.
First time had this shaved ice Mango with red bean desert. Loved it! Thanks!
They serve boba drinks, popcorn chicken (seasoning was yummy) and Korean style desserts called bingsoo. Many varieties of toppings to choose from. We had the Mango and it was delicious! Clean and spacious interiors.

Fun and refreshing drinks. Tried the mango smoothie and the strawberry cheese. Cheese foam was really good. I like how you can customize the sweetness.
I order the mango sago here a lot through Doordash and have not actually went in person. My drink though is always consistent and tastes great, no matter the season. Thank you!!

I didn't realize there was one here, because the only other one I know is in Davis. This one seems to have more variety for both drinks and desserts. I tried the taro matcha milk tea and visually it was good. The taste was interesting. Very matcha strong, but bits of real taro. I'm a big fan of taro but this one didn't impress me.
Went to the Davis location way back in like 2014-2015. Cool to see that there is a bay area location now. Tastes just like how I remember the Davis location. Even the interior looks the same. Price per drink is super reasonable compared to all the other places out there. I got the roasted oolong milk tea with boba and 80% sweetness. Wished there was more tea strength and the 80% sweetness was perfect.
5 stars for the drink! 3 stars for the shaved ice! The drink was super refreshing and I was really surprised how good it was! It was essentially what you'd imagine a mango soda tasting like. Would definitely get it again. The shaved ice on the other hand looked really pretty but there was only really thin layers of mango on top so it looks like a lot but aside from the thin layer of mangos we were left with a lot of shaved ice. Not bad, but have been other places that put more mango.
If you’re ready for cool dessert stop by here. It’s a cool down time and check out the pics. We had the mango large. As always, post wherever your palate takes you. Update: more visits 9-16-23
Bingsu was good but they need to have a better table management, and have more tables too. You don’t really need big tables for the desserts. 2- 4 people were able to take 1 half of the table, so that we could let another group sit. Instead of letting people fight for the tables, there can be a better way to manage the tables (e.g. A simple policy of only having a table after ordering, quick assignment of a table after the order’s been made will make this so much more efficient) - see how it’s done at Malatown. Some were hogging the table way before they ordered and many people who ordered way before had to wait for a long time even when their dessert order was ready.
A new group share food experience -- Korean bingsoo with shaved skim milk, glazed mango and strawberry, condensed milk poured on top. It had a light fine texture and taste more simple, compared to Philippine halohalo with very sweet preserved fruits and beans mixed with shaved ice, ube ice cream and milk. Family shared two bowls with a side order of wings. Well presented light and cold dessert on a warm day.

The place is clean however the smell when you entered is little weird. We asked for no ice 80% sugar. However they gave with full sugar and ice. Its a mess. They did same for us and other two folks too..!! We ended up staying extra 15 min, at the end he took the same milk to us by eliminating the ice. We were felt bad and out experience is not good. We try next time and see what happens
They have a weekday promotion after 4PM, buy a bingsoo, get one drink 30% off. The bingsoos here were pretty standard. Clean shaven ice, no chunks, with sweet condensed milk drizzled over the top. Don't put too much condensed milk as it,lol just be wasted dripping onto the tray. The injeolmi (almond) bingsoo was pretty OK, definitely helps that there were red beans to add more flavor to the ice. Apparently, they tend to run out of the teok pieces and will still charge you full price after informing you of it, so not the best customer service. One last thing, the shop needs a humidifier. Came in on a soft low 70's day and immediately hit a wall of humid air walking into the shop. Not enough to be uncomfortable, but it definitely felt weird given that it's a bingsoo shop (I assume it's due to the heat generated by the ice shredding machine).
Total Score: 6.475 Ambiance: 3.25/5 Liked the little wall with the tea samples. But idk how this fits in to dessert 😖. I guess tea is in the name of the restaurant. Other than that, was clean, normal decor. Food: 3.5/5 This was LOADED and appreciated the condensed milk they gave on the side so we could have it evenly while eating. Plus there was a fun secret at the bottom 😋. Though, wish there were options with more toppings, or sauces. Wow: 0/1 Normal bingsu restaurant Total Score = 3.5*AM + 6*FOOD + 0.5*WOW

I had their Taro milk tea (one of my go-to flavors at any new place that I try), and it was super disappointing... One of the FEW times that I've actually thrown a drink away after only a few sips. It tasted like they just opened a gallon of Berkeley Farms whole milk and dumped it in the cup with some tapioca balls. Had a friend taste it as well, and they confirmed how bad it was :(
Waited over 20 minutes for a strawberry bingsu and they weren’t even packed. In the end, they forgot our order and served others before us. Crappy service. Wish the place in Milpitas stayed open over this place. I don’t recommend.
I’m giving a low rating because of how rude one of the employees was when I was placing my order. I made a simple mistake, and instead of politely explaining or helping me correct it, he responded with a very rude and unprofessional attitude. It was completely unnecessary and left a bad impression. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning. I also suggest they give their employees proper training on how to treat customers with kindness and professionalism. In my opinion the Bing su wasn’t layered very well which made it just okay.
First time trying this place “snowbowl” or “mandro teahouse” Walked in, there were two people standing at the counter, neither greeted me nor looked my way. I decided to order at their kiosk paid 15 for a smoothie and a snack. After Standing inside for 20 minutes and still no acknowledgment from the worker, my order was called out, he said thank you and put it on the counter. Smoothie 2/10 it’s just fruit and ice blended. Chicken 2/10 it’s boiled chicken wings seasoning
