I was amazed at this location, first time here. The place has a lot of parking and the staff is very friendly. The food has the right portion. I will definitely come here again. The best part is that everything is fresh and cook to order. Plus, did I mention that miso soap is provided at no charge.

This place kept me fed while I was in college. Early mornings, lunch, and dinner at last hour. It's TOO good!!! I have taken loved ones to this place that also love it just as much as I do. The sushi, the bento boxes, the mochi ice cream <3 are all delicious. I've eaten here as a vegan and non-vegan. There are plenty of options for everybody! The cherry on top is the friendly service I get all the time. I miss this place so much!!

The combination plate is good, lots of food for a decent price. The servers are friendly and attentive. The roll that came with the plate was loose and the rice wasn't sticky, so it fell apart but it tasted nice:) the tempura was delicious.

I unwrapped mine and this is what was included...If I had swallowed this, we would be having a different conversation. If the owner sees this, I would like to have a chat.

I visited for the first time doing takeout and got the teriyaki chicken bento. It ended up being $17 for 5 pieces of sushi, teriyaki chicken, rice, and tempura! The service was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was semi full on a Tuesday afternoon, but not packed. For the amount of food that you receive the price is really reasonable. I would come back again!

I usually went here often, they are down the street and the food is not bad at all. The problem is the portions. Very small. I ordered especially extra meat because of knowing that. Paid 2.50$ extra and received the same amount I usually get. 13 dollars for this? I could have had 2 panda expresses.

Excellent service a friendly atmosphere, but everything we ordered was overcooked. 😫 The chicken, the salmon, all of it. 😭

Horrible experience with the food. Had it before and was fine, yet when I ate a take out order of the Hawaiian Roll I became terribly sick with food poisoning, there was vomiting, fever, and every other symptom that comes with food poisoning occuring. Another person in my group suffered from headaches. Disappointed and distraught.

If I could give this place a 0, I truly would. I called at 8:30pm asking the seemingly "nice" lady which sushi roll has the most EEL. She told me the CATERPILLAR ROLL. Look at the pictures. Before I even took a bite I began digging into the roll to look for any actual EEL. There was NONE to small shards big as half your pinky nail. The largest piece I found was maybe a dime sized in one of them. The rest, either nonexistent or teeny tiny bits, this could hardly count as an EEL ROLL. It's very disappointing. I called today, explained my issue, and the manager refused to speak to me AND refused to meet me half way whatsoever. His worker told me "they won't do anything..." Also, the "nice" lady on purpose "forgot" to place a receipt. The evidence I have that this is from California Bowl is their chopsticks paper. I will never be returning here. I used to be a loyal customer. Look at the photos and judge for yourself. This is what the CATERPILLAR ROLL looks. Stay away

When she came home with one order I asked her about the second order. The restaurant failed to give her my second order, even though both parties are at fault, I called and they couldn’t give me a discount for them not presenting both orders at pick up. At this point I am eating my sushi two hours from pick up time since it is far away from my house, disappointed.

Take out order was burnt and inedible. Called the manager and was told they would make it right by giving me a free replacement next visit. Went in a month later and they said sorry no, we lost our paperwork on it. So they wouldn’t keep their word. I’ve been eating here 15 years… they literally could care less! Bad business!!

A group of 4 people ate at this food place bought sushi on 11-27 for lunch around 2:30pm. This place deserve a ZERO star. Later that evening all of them was vomiting, weak, dizzy, fever, stomach pain, nausea, fatigue and kept vomiting every 30-40 mins. They slept in the bathroom near the toilet to vomit. One of the minors had to go to Urgent Care. The fish was bad causing them to become ill. They will not EVER eat at any California Bowl Sushi and Teriyaki again They were sick for several days Food Poisoning is no joke. The cook should've known that the sushi was bad. This place is disgusting, nasty with contaminated fish.
