Friendly and fast customer service. I believe they either recently changed owners or just changed their restaurant name but the quality has not changed. I’ve been here a few times (both for pandemic - outdoor tent seating and now-mask mandate indoor dining) and have not had any issues at all. A solid spot for KBBQ.

The service here is so attentive and genuinely warm. I looked over the wall to see what the rest of the restaurant looked like and immediately a waiter asked me if I needed anything because I looked like I was looking for staff lol

Excellent food and service. Marinated kalbi meat was incredibly tender and tasty. Side dishes (banchan) were plentiful and delicious, especially the fresh kimchee. And finally don't forget to get the dessert ice cream. Highly recommended.

The food here is utterly amazing and a definite MUST try! The service was great too! However, there are 2 things that I would like to share about the place to someone whose never been there before... a) it's expensive so be prepared to spend some money & b) that if you're going at dinnertime, be prepared to wait for a table because it is super busy, especially on weekends. This is our second time and like the first, we loved it. We will come again. This time we brought our service animal and she was accepted with fine but when they saw that she was the perfect family member they started to come around and give her compliments. My friends and I always come here to eat barbecue, they have really nice and healthy foods. The atmosphere is really nice and comfortable. The service is so good, they are so nice to us and treat them as how you want to be treated. As long being kind and polite to them they will treat you sooo well!!! I saw I child crying and the waiter jogging to that kid to ask what happened, then the waiter give that kid a popsicle to calm down that kid.

The BEST kbbq in the valley. Great service by the elderly staffing. They were there when I thought about reordering. Seemed they were trained well by an expert servers or have been serving for decades. Meat quality was consistent. Most other places 2nd, 3rd portions usually lack quality. But not here. Also my favorite was the cold noodles. OMG, this is what I'm going back for. Most kbbq places that have good meat rarely have good cold noodles or they have good noodles but meat quality is poor. Our server suggested and I'd trusted them with my ordering and WOW did it really come through. This isn't for the fusion loving bbq, but almost traditional Korean bbq. Was the best kbbq experience in 2024 so far.

One of the best K restaurants in the valley. If you like traditional fermented and seasoned vegies, you can have it here. Enjoy briskets and other marinated meats. Rice should have been cooked a little less H20 to make it less sticky.

Second time there and it was very nice both times. The lady’s who were on the floor where very nice and friendly and came up to us a lot to check if we wanted any more meats. No having to wave down any server which was nice. It is a bit expensive but it’s a very nice place.

The best Korean BBQ place we've been to so far in the Northridge area. Nice, clean location with ample parking and lots of indoor dining space. Can accommodate larger groups in their separated dining rooms. Accepts reservations. The AYCE BBQ choices are great, which includes appetizers and side dishes, along with all the usual marinated meat favorites (kalbi, bulgogi, etc.). Staff was polite and accomodating, and helpful in describing the menu choices. Don't over-order because you can't take leftovers home, although who can blame you when they provide a good amount of quality, marinated meats to grill. Highly recommended.

The owner Young Choi is very cating and paying attention to every single table, we went on Saturday night, very crowded and we get a corner table. Its hard for waiters to check on every table often in such busy night but owner check on our table 4 times and even without saying any words he keep calling people to our table. It feels being special for that level of care.

Best service from a Korean BBQ restaurant I've had. They welcomed me and kept offering to refill Banchan. Mixed mild tofu was nice and slightly spicy with good amount of meat and seafood. It was moderately salty though, FYI. Galbi could use more sear, but the sauce sticks to it well. Overall, good food and great service

Great and fast service. We got seated right away, drinks, sides and order was taken right away and was provided. Meat quality is okay. Main concern is that the $35 does not include any galbi and other sides… no other choices of sides pure meat. No lettuce wrap, fish cake, cheese corn or ramen none of that. They have 3 choices for appetizers but thats an additional cost.

Was my first time and was seated instantly. It was a bit confusing at first since they have different menus. I went with friends and we thought we were looking at the same menu. We ordered our drinks and they messed up my friends drink order. They brought out the meat fairly quickly. Also don’t like that they have a limit. And before we could order dessert, they just gave us the bill. We were lowkey excited to try their cheesecake. But paid and left instead. Overall, for my first time it was alright.

It's a ok place but they need to hire pepole that can communicate with customers with the English language , It feels like they're always On top of your head making sure you eat and get out real quick because it's all you can eat. Make sure you double check your check stay over charge sometimes

I called days in advance to make a dinner reservation for a party of 10 for my birthday. The guy on the phone stated the party would be seating together and to make sure the whole party has arrived before they will let us sit and order. We all got there and was waiting on 1 person who was running maybe 1-3 mins late. They called and asked where we were and they were going to give our seat away, mind you we were only outside waiting. We told them you guys told us we wouldn't have been able to sit down until our whole party has arrived. He then stated "oh yea" and then proceeded to say " were getting your tables ready right now" The late person got there a min after, we came in got seated and 3 different tables. A party of 10 seated at 3 different tables ? Back to back not even able to talk to each other lol If I would have known we all would have been seated at different tables I wouldn't have came to this establishment, the man on the phone should have stated that when we called to make the reservation. At the end of the dinner our bill came, we asked if we could split it they gave us attitude and slammed the bill on the table and said we can split into 4 and walked away from us. We decided to split into 3 bills, we all paid and they still charged us all gratuity on all 3 bills which im pretty sure they weren't suppose to do. But whatever. Sad this place has went to bad, I've been here before and everyone was friendly and kind but now it seems they rush you and don't care I wouldn't recommend this location for any party's over 5

He was so short with us. The rest of the wait staff was so lovely, they were attentive and friendly to us. The cheque came out to $100.93, this was with an added 15% gratuity. It seems like that 15% gratuity gave our waiter an excuse to treat us poorly, despite us being paying customers.

The quality of the meat at Hanoo Kalbi was good — well seasoned and flavorful. However, the overall experience was negatively affected by the service and some operational issues. The waitress who attended us (Korean) never waited for us to finish placing our order; she constantly interrupted and left the order incomplete. On several occasions, we had to ask again for items because they simply did not bring everything we requested. They also never checked on us to see if we needed anything else. Instead, they brought the bill without any prior notice and turned off the grills even though we still had more than 30 minutes left within our allotted dining time. Additionally, they were not attentive about changing the grills when they became carbonized, which directly affects the quality of the food. The exhaust system also does not function properly, causing smoke to accumulate in the dining area, which made the experience uncomfortable. The food has good potential, but the service and attention to detail need significant improvement to match the restaurant’s concept.

On top of that the owner or whomever came up to my bf and I to tell us on how to eat our food should learn how to talk to people first of all. why couldn’t the server let me know there was something wrong about anything going on at my table? Then the server came up to me and took the tonsils out of my hand to tell me they are going to change the grill top, there’s no need to grab stuff out of customer’s hand…..we’re not children. Oh and plus they are constantly watching you like a hawk. You could be enjoying your meal for a moment, look up and about 3 workers are watching your moves. As a server myself, this was a nasty experience and money could be spent better at the korreean bbq up the street.

What happened to this place? New owners ? The food quality went way down as the prices went way up. Looks like they took advantage of the Covid trend … the manager is extremely rude and has no regulars for customer service instead she comes at the table like a dictatorship and demands her rules of the restaurant instead of trying to make the customers happy. I’m your customer not your child don’t forget that!!! Very discriminating against their customers. We have gone there since my children were babies and I have watched it go downhill. What a shame. Upon my exitus amongst many other things I told the manager that I had to spit out have to meet because it was inedible due to the quality at dryness and chewiness. She made no effort to look into it, or give me a peace of mind, except ignore me and throw backlash at me as she stated that nobody else complains there. Look at their yelp reviews. There are tons of one stars. I suggest you read them. I will be calling the BBB and the Health Department as well!!

Came for lunch special menu i saw on google. It was around 1pm. There was no special. 2 people party. They added a 15% gratuity to our check. I wasn't told of any time limit or any reason for the gratuity added to the receipt.

AYCE bbq was good overall. The servers were rude and reluctant to fill our orders. There was four of us and we can only order two items at a time. We felt awkward and insulted and have been to many ayce k bbq. We left the place hungry.

I’m not the type of person to leave reviews but this place is not it. They charge wayyy too much for mid quality service. The food tasted bland and the drinks tasted like soap. Like if they didn’t wash the cups correctly. The whole time I was there, we were thinking that we should have waited in line at gens. Rather wait a little for better food and service

Disappointed. One word, dissatisfied. There are so many things that I don't like nor recommend about this Korean bbq. I have NEVER been to a Korean bbq that automatically charges a 15% gratuity fee no matter what service you receive. This place is deceiving. In the beginning, the owner and the guy were nice and friendly but then it just went downhill. Like wow, after the first two meat orders, customer service just dropped. The lady/waitress was upset at us for double ordering on the second round but it was their fault for not communicating with each other, and for not checking on us in a timely manner. At this restaurant, what is service? Within the hour and 30 minutes of dining there, we were not attended for a good 30-40 minutes. My boyfriend and friend were disappointed and upset at the fact that our waiter was attending the bigger group rather than us. We didn't ring the bell mainly because we didn't want to annoy them even more. We tried flagging down our waiter and waitress but WOW, they see us but just provided horrible customer service in return. What exactly happened, you may ask? The lady was on her break 'supposedly' but face mask was down and obnoxiously chewing and responding to us 'I'm on break, ask someone else.' Like WOW, and when we finally reached our waiter, he's like 'Oh, you done now?' My boyfriend asked 'Can we please get rice paper and rib finger? politely. Then, the waiter repeated what he said but in a horrible manner. My boyfriend repeated himself but angrily, because he gave us the check when we didn't ask for it and said 'I'm going to place this here.' If I can write 5 reviews, I would because I want people to see that after new management and renovation, this place just went down the drain. 1000000/10 NOT RECOMMENDED! Please hear my warning and save your money and go elsewhere for better service! Also, food was 7/10 but service just made this review a 1 star.

We come here pretty often and it has mostly been pleasant until last night. They sat us in a separate room, where the waiters were barely coming. I have to beg to get our waters refilled at least one time. They kept asking for our order and never bringing it. We have to ask different waiters. One lady told us that we were only allowed to order 2 meats, even thought it said we could order three. Anyways it didn’t matter cause she never brought it. Our whole party was barely an hour in and one of the ladies told us we needed to leave cause we had exceeded our time,In a pretty rude manner. we ask if we could get last round at least. Brought us only one meat and it was the wrong one then I asked if she could tell us when we go there to see if they had a timer on us but she just went around brought another server and then I’m pretty sure he told them we hadn’t been there for the hour and a half that they say people are allowed there. Then they told us the boss was pushing people out cause it had gotten so busy. I feel bad for the waiters if they are put in that position but it is not the customers fault that you don’t hire enough servers so they can’t really provide a good service to them. It was really nasty the way we were rushed and she didn’t even try to understand us. She just kept pointing at the menu paper as if we didnt know at what time we got there. It seems this place is getting ruined by greed. Pretty harsh, but we are gonna start going to other KBBQ around. Kinda sad after we come here almost every week

the food is straight bad. we were having hard time finding at least any delicious item in the menu. there are a lot of better kbbq places in korea town, just don't go to this one. they also charge 10% tax and 15% tips included to your check

I placed an order for one item for pick-up. Guy on the phone said okay. I drove to pick it up. Lady comes up and said only one order? I said yes, she said “we cant do it” and walked away. Got me real annoyed. 😒 wasted gas and time for nothing. Update: Manager and Lead Staff called me multiple times apologizing for the incident. They also mentioned that they talked to the lady who gave us that unpleasant treatment, and offered us a free food if we ever want to come by. Not sure how we feel about coming back, but we appreciate the staff calling and addressing our bad experience

Over priced, for one person they want to charge twice for all you can eat. The price says $23.95 but I ended up paying $60.94. I sure won't eat here and bring people again. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they automatically take your money for tips without first asking the consumer.

I went here to get kbbq with my boyfriend as a late birthday dinner celebration, for the most part the meal was fine, however towards the end of the meal, while I was chewing I felt something in my mouth, I pulled it out to see that it was, a wire from a Brillo pad. I felt very disgusted, and I waved over a male waiter to show him it, and he began to argue with my boyfriend saying it must have been on the grill, but on a personal level that doesn't change the fact IT WAS IN MY MOUTH. I felt so disgusted and upset, they didn't even ask if I was ok or say sorry until the manager came over, my boyfriend and I immediately got up after they left the table, and went to the counter to pay, they comped just my portion of the meal and apologized at the register which was the least they could do, however I feel they handled everything very poorly in the moment. I am never going back and hope that they're more careful with their equipment in the future.
