Hello Orlando, I did a pop-up here for a fun midday karaoke session on Saturday and had a great time! Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Heatwave ORL offers a vibrant LGBTQ atmosphere with crafted cocktails and signature dishes in the form of tapas. I recommend stopping by to check it out! I started with their espresso martini, and it was most certainly bold and robust and has extra strength to get you started for your brunch. Next, I wanted something spicy, and I usually get a margarita; however, they offer a spicy Paloma. Let me say, the Spicy Paloma was my favorite drink, and if you are someone who likes Palomas, you know they have to be made just right. Even the sandy garnish was spicy with hints of lime and a subtle fruity flavor; I was very impressed. I have been wanting to make a banana drink at home for some time now, so when I saw the Banana Old Fashioned, I had to, of course, try it too. Hints of banana, vanilla, and walnuts—this was a strong drink with the right flavors and brûléed banana slices for a garnish. It was a delicious combination that I was able to sip on and take my time to enjoy. Lastly, of the four drinks I enjoyed, was the Lavender Bee's Knees. I really wanted a gin martini, and this was a great crafted version of that. While the flavors are simplified to four ingredients, this layered beauty is a refreshing thirst quencher. Stumbled upon this place on their first day of their new brunch service and it was so good we went back again the next day. The chicken and waffle sliders, breakfast flatbread, and savory pancake tacos were all phenomenal as well as the barista pumping out an incredible cherry matcha and delicious cocktails. And don’t sleep on the sweet potato waffle fries with an assortment of sauces. But by far the best part of the experience was Kevin. He was so kind and welcoming we just wanted to hang out with him all day. 10/10 recommend all around for great food and vibes.

I’ve been to Heatwave a few different times and they never disappoint! I’ve tried the sliders, hummus, and lox bagel—all delicious. The beverages are well balanced and so tasty. The vibe is welcoming and inclusive. Orlando really needed a place like this and I’m glad someone finally delivered a chill space to hang out and socialize.

So excited for the opening of this needed space in Orlando! The vibes are so chill & fun. The food is SO good. The drinks are SO delish too!! Everyone is really nice & knows their menu. We also really loved the indoor option, patio option or even loft-like option. Such a good time & can’t wait to go back!

Was wanting a place to sip and nibble while watching the Love Island reunion and came across Heatwave on instagram! Super cool & chic new hidden gem that just opened up. I like it because it was both chill and upscale at the same time. Not as casual as a dive bar, but not as fancy as Mathers. Their drinks are PHENOMENAL and I can’t wait to go back to try more. We got the Lavender French 75 and the Matcha Martini. Perfectly balanced drinks, beautiful presentation, and not too sweet! For food we ordered the caprese flatbread and the cheese sticks (I forgot what they’re called) but those were super delicious as well.

Went tonight for a quick drink before an event downtown, was super impressed by the drinks especially the friendly service!! Celio and sebastiano took amazing care of us both knowledgeable and outgoing! 🫶🏻 Definitely coming back.

So glad the new owners bought this place. We missed Stonewall, and they've made it even better. The food is actually amazing! Mocktails are delicious! It's nice to come and sit (yeah girl plenty of seating), chill and watch Ru Paul! Brunch menu is lit!

I attended their drag brunch yesterday and not only did I have an amazing time, but the food, drinks, and staff are absolutely incredible. The menu is the perfect brunch menu, the cocktails are well thought out and delicious - they have something for everyone, and the staff is the icing on the cake! Everyone is knowledgeable and courteous. I will definitely be going back!

Came is for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. So good. Bf got matcha cherry coffee drink, which was insane. My iced americano was great. The sour dough breakfast sandwich hit the spot. The staff was wonderful. Space is cute. Music is a vibe. Can’t wait to be back!

The espresso martini (made by Liv) is the best I’ve had in Orlando. The halloumi sticks and fried green tomato sliders are a must. I’m still thinking about the food and cocktails. The bartenders are hot and the space is inclusive, what more could you ask for?

This place has STUNNING cocktails, and great tapas. I literally starting applauding the bar tender when my blueberry jam mezcal cocktail arrived. A great space woth different sort of zones , one of which has an outdoor vibe that is somehow still air conditioned?! Brills. We are 2 very regular hetero types, but this is a very welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community and anybody else who wants a great cocktail and a sassy arepa situation. :) the staff was extremely cheery and chill and we felt right at home. Check it out!
