It's a student cafeteria, but a good one. The atmosphere is a big part of it. They have a very nice salad bar in addition to all of the other dishes. They also have a television screen that was showing a very popular soccer game while I was there. The excitement level was pretty high and made it a lot of fun. If you're on Caltech campus it's a good place for lunch.

It's clean and quite in summer. The food choice is diversified. They all taste good and healthy, not salty and not greasy. There are chefs cooking on site.

Very pleasant place, staff are friendly, prices are low and the good is great. 5.50 for the breakfast special, eggs, bacon, 2 pancakes.

This was my first visit to Caltech. I'll feel great knowing my kid will have good food to eat.

The salad bar was great and staff was efficient. The place was not aesthetically pleasing but ok to enjoy your lunch inside or outside the cafe. I enjoyed my lunch sitting on a table next to the einstein portrait.

Chandler Cafe is inside the California Institute of Technology with a few seating spots outside.

Many choices of food. But it's super crowded at noon

The food is genuinely pretty good. The food service staff are terrible. They act extremely entitled and are usually unhelpful, grumpy, and rude to people ordering. There are only a handful of staff here that would greet you with a smile. The rest don't bother responding when you say something.

Worse than Fred durst

It was closed when the google said it was open!!! It caused us to walk a long way to find another open cafeteria.

Food is extremely unhealthy and bad tasting. And it’s worse that it’s campus’s main option for food. Wish caltech would allow us to live on campus without participating in the mandatory meal plan.

I have gotten food poisoning here. Food is tiny for the price, and pricing is opaque. Unfortunately there are no options around so the students eat here out of convenience
