Opiniones de Dolce Vita Piazza Giovanni Ventitreesimo
Piatti deliziosi, bruschetta e carbonara spettacolari. Ve lo consiglio. Servizio curato.
Locale molto accogliente e tranquillo.
We were there yesterday and we'd like to thank the not very tall, bearded waiter (pity we didn't ask the name). He is very professional and well mannered. He gives great advice on what to eat and what will go the best to drink with the chosen food. We enjoyed this restaurant only thanks to him
We went for happy hour spritz, and we had a blast! Thank you to our wonderful waitress who even lent us a pen for our postcards! Cute!
This place is one the most expensive restaurants at Piazza Navona, but nevertheless it's the second time we're coming here just because of waiter Hazem. He's very attentive, nice and really knows his job. He suggested to us great pasta and a bottle of good wine. On our next trip we'll come again
*update: they also have Illy coffee which is the best espresso you can get!* We have been here many times over the years. When you compare to all other restaurants on the piazza, this is the best and NOT Tourist trap. Service is excellent. They are friendly and remember you— even the woman who has been slandered in other reviews 😭. She has gone above and beyond to get us the beverages we request, offer solid alternatives when our choice of wine is out of stock and make us feel welcome and happy. The prices reflect the location and atmosphere. We have had mostly appetizers and drinks, but also ordered gluten free pasta and it was cooked to perfection. Remember — you are coming for an entire experience of the hustle and bustle of one of the most highly traveled destinations in the world. Sit back and enjoy it all.
This is one of many sidewalk cafes/restaurants in a very touristy area and the prices reflect that. It was not very busy last night (I think because all the other cafes were showing the Eurocup games on big screen TVs) We decided to pay for the view of the piazza and the experience. The service was friendly and the mushroom pasta was very fresh. We also had a caprese salad that was tasty. Probably not the very best food in Rome, but it was overall a lovely experience. A perfect stop on our walking tour of Rome. Restrooms were clean.
Dolce Vita will always be the main highlight of our vacation. We were walking around looking for a place to eat when a very charismatic lady just took us to seats and gave us our menu's. It was hands down the best service I have ever received. Not to mention that the food was fantastic and affordable. I definitely recommend enjoying a bottle of wine with lasagna. But I personally don't have a wide variety when it comes to eating pasta. But the one shown in the picture is what I ate and it was delicious. I would even just go back to see the lady that helped us again.

Really really good service and food, which was well-priced. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to eat in or around the piazza.

I was with my fiancé and had one of the most tasteful dinners. Service was great, the surrounding ambient was cool and romantic. You have a clear view of "Piaca Navona". The prices were reasonable …
I have to say the negative reviews are a little harsh. My boyfriend and I went here because they had dairy-free options and we had a great time! The staff were really friendly, our waiter spoke 4 different languages and I liked the food. Be prepared to spend money, in general the restaurants in this area are over priced.
This place just feels like a red flag. Its the middle of August and every other place in the square is packed and this place is empty. The reviews are terrible and the owner / guy on the street looks like a movie villain. But we wanted to sit and people watch and have a cheap spritz. They said 5 euros aperols and i double and triple checked if it in fact was happy hour. Honestly they were great. Great drinks, they didnt hover. Just let us enjoy the great space. Quick service. Great prices. Would absolutely go back.
Mediocre food, extortionately priced drink plus rude, arrogant waiters. Not impressed at all. There are plenty of other options

That’s the worst meatballs and tomato pasta I’ve ever had in my life! Just awful. There are also rats ! Like gigantic rats crawling on the window ! Staff is ok.
We sat down here because one of the staff members outside lured us in with a “happy hour” offer — €5 for an Aperol or beer. We thought, okay, let’s go! While we were having our drinks, we noticed the same guy trying to get more guests in. Whenever someone politely declined, he frowned and muttered something angrily under his breath. When we got the bill, instead of €10, it was €20. We said we came for the happy hour deal where the drink was supposed to be €5 each. The person at the register looked at the guy who invited us in, and he completely denied it, claiming we had arrived before happy hour started — even though we had clearly seen the sign! Then he said the happy hour price only applied if you also ordered food. We asked why that wasn’t written on the sign, but after arguing with about three employees, they finally gave us a €5 discount, and we ended up paying €15 instead of €10. Never again — total scammers!
Worst Customer service. And we waited a long time just for two drinks. Establishment next door looked more friendly :) If there was an option of 0 stars i would use it. Don’t bother on coming here. Waste of time and money.
I was really surprised and disappointed by the rude behavior of one of the servers. When I was politely offered a table and said “no, thank you,” the server insulted me for no reason. It was completely uncalled for and made me feel very uncomfortable. I was just trying to be respectful, but the reaction was aggressive and unprofessional. No customer should be treated this way. I was walking around planning to have dinner and maybe returning but after that I went to the one right beside which it was 10000 times better and politely and very professional!
Horrible place. Says ”Happy hour”, but only for ”drinks to go” 😄. Rude staff. And the Aperol Spritz did not at all taste like an Aperol spritz. A ripoff and I felt very unvomfortable here.
I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this place was truly disappointing. We waited over 20 minutes for just two cups of coffee, even though there were no other guests at the time. On top of that, we were charged €22 for two coffees and a bottle of water. When I mentioned to the waiter that the pricing was unreasonable, he started talking about “quality.” —> it’s just water—it shouldn’t cost €7. It’s no surprise this place has such a low rating. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
Overpriced, worst meal in Europe yet. Our table was on the front line on the piazza which was the best part of the meal. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria- a mini vase was brought that gave us one half glass each, it was room temp. We’ve ordered Sangria around Europe and got twice as much for half the price. The .5L serving was $20Euros. Bruschetta - lots of tomatoes, nice flavor but bread was over toasted and there was only one small slice. I ordered Spaghetti Alla Vongole. Al dente pasta, which I’m getting used to but when you looked at this pasta you could see the white uncooked center and to top it off, it was cold, tasteless, bland. I asked our waiter for some Parmesan cheese which took over five minutes to get. He seemed nice enough but when we let him know the pasta was cold he just shrugged his head and walked away. We also ordered the tagliatelli with marinara sauce and meatballs which at least came to the table hot. The portion was small, the meatballs were small but at least it was edible. The woman, who seemed like the manager, pulling people in from the Piazza had zero personality and was curt and rude. When we asked for the bill we had the credit card in hand which she saw. She came with the bill but not the card machine and seemed irritated that she had to go get out and return, which she did a few minutes later after she sat people down. I wanted to somehow signal the people looking at the menu board ‘don’t do it; don’t come eat here; go somewhere else!’ but I behaved myself. I would have appreciated if someone sitting at one of the tables had tried to give me a heads up! Enjoy your meals in Rome by eating somewhere else than Dolce Vita!
