My husband and I just had breakfast here on the way to the hospital. I came in pregnant, hungry, upset and ready to bite someone's head off. No one knew this except myself and my husband. I really needed to eat. Our very sweet young server names Jesus gave us great service, made sure to check on us and made sure we had everything we needed the way we wanted it. I am deeply grateful for the service and nourishment that we received here today. You never know what's happening is someone's day and thanks to the professionalism of this wonderful young gentleman I was able to recover from a very rough morning. Thank you Jesus.
Came here to get a project done late at night. The vibes were perfect, and the service was great! Dana took our orders quickly and made sure to give us the best service, but I wasn't disturbed too much so I could casually get my work done. It's a good place to come chill for a snack late at night while studying.
I stopped by for breakfast on my own recently and had a fantastic experience. Gilbert was my server—he was incredibly friendly, took great care of me, and we had a really nice chat. I’ll definitely be asking for him next time I come in!
Excellent customer service by our waitress Courtney! Even with a relatively crowded restaurant, they managed to keep every table served as fast and efficiently as possible. A waitress who serves you with a smile despite how hard his/her work is deserves a customer compliment and recognition (verbal and written). Well done Courtney! This location was so much cleaner than others. The service we got was great our waiter came by multiple times to see if we needed anything. Not a bad Ihop!

We had a fantastic experience at IHOP thanks to our server, Gilberto. From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. He made sure our drinks were always full, checked in on us at just the right times, and got every part of our order exactly right — all with a warm smile and great attitude. Gilberto went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back, and asking for Gilberto next time. Highly recommend!
Love the middle of the night waiter!! He has it going on, all by himself! I had chicken and waffles! Colin had some big breakfast meal. It was great!
This place is an older rustic building with some quaint charm. It still had the backroom with the doors on it for the smoking section. It was basically empty and our food came out faster than McDonald's drive through! I highly recommend coming to this location just after 5pm on Friday. It's family friendly and they had plenty of parking. The oil stains don't look too appealing but if you liked the 70s then this place is for you.
The food is always consistent and the employees are very friendly and welcoming! Poncho is our regular server and remembers our usual orders every time we come in! Highly recommend!
My husband and I always come here for dinner or a late breakfast and every time we get Exceptional Service. Victor has been so patient with us each and every time and is so courteous.
Very short wait times and meal was hot enough to have to blow on before eating. It was soooo good. Waitress was kind, patient and attentive.and manager was also attentive and accommodating.

Famous pancake restaurant chain. Their pancakes are good as expected. I mean, their pancakes are very normal and natural in good meaning. I think the real food is like theirs (personally their classic pancake combo is perfect). This IHOP at Preston Road, the waitress was very kind and welcoming, which made me relaxed and satisfied very much.
I love going to IHOP when you have time to simply chill & enjoy breakfast food!!! Only downside was it was a little warm inside for me, however given how many seniors were dining, it was understandable.
I cannot stress enough how AMAZING Lain’s service was. It was only her first week, but our party of 15 could not tell because of how communicative, professional, and patient she was the entire time. She was such a joy to talk to and my entire group loved her. Despite problems with the online system and working night shift with an unusually small team , she still provided our very large group an incredibly satisfying and tasty late night 4 am breakfast.
Pleasant experience at this location for the second time, and I’m from out of state. Polite and respectful staff. They take their time with you and make sure they get your order right. Food is delicious and quality always brings me back.
Ellie was absolutely amazing she is the kindest person ever we love her! She went above and beyond! all staff was amazing sweet and the food came out fast! And tasted great! Best IHop ever!
The crepes were delish. We ordered on the app and called the curb side number once we arrived at the restaurant. The curb side service was not "curb side" because we had to get out of the car and walk inside and retrieve our food from the counter. I'm not sure what that was about. We checked our order when we got back in the car. The pancake, crepe toppings, and drink were let out of the order. I went back inside and the order was corrected. Check your order before you leave.
10/27/2025 Tiffany at this IHOP is a great server! She’s been there for only 5 days and is super professional, friendly, conscientious, and helpful to her guests! She deserves top marks! My significant other and I were wearing Dr. Pepper couples shirts 😂 obviously I ordered a Dr. Pepper. Alex had the Breakfast sampler, and I had the T-bone steak with onion rings. Thanks, IHOP and Tiffany! All the best to your future endeavors!
I had an amazing experience during my visit to IHOP thanks to our server, Ronnie. His service was truly exceptional—he was charismatic, attentive, and incredibly well-mannered from start to finish. Ronnie consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, without ever being intrusive. The food was amazing as always, and his professionalism and positive attitude made the entire meal even better. It’s rare to get such outstanding service, and Ronnie absolutely deserves recognition for the great job he does. I highly recommend asking for Ronnie if you want a wonderful dining experience. Thank you for making our visit memorable!
Food is always good. Breakfast is always delicious, eggs does not have that brown crust that tells you they were scrambled too long. My daughter and granddaughter always order the create your own egg omelette. The staff are very nice and patient and will make sure that you're well taken care. I'm a regular and have been for awhile.
Came in on the Friday before Memorial Day, early around 8:15. It was nice and quiet. Got quickly seated and served. Waiter was friendly. I wanted to try that $6 promo I was saw on TV so I ordered the ham and cheese omelette with 2 pancakes. Came out super quick and was photo worthy, just like what you see on TV. It was also delicious. All in all my meal with coffee came out to a little over $10. Not bad for this day and age and it'll hold me over several hours. Great!
Step in from there cold tonight into this 24-hour, diner vibe in West Plano. Miles and the team are courteous, efficient, and full of personality. My Country Fried Steak was perfect: crispy, medium, juicy. White gravy, perfect. Hash browns, perfect. Pancakes, perfect. Sunny-side eggs, runny and perfect. House Iced Coffee, cold brew, perfect. Also, there's one table by the front desk that has power outlet access.
"Red" was a great server. Big smile and great attitude. Funny how great service makes the food taste so much better. I ordered a 55+ Breakfast Sampler. So the portions were a bit smaller than IHOPs other over-the-top breakfasts. Which was perfectly fine with me. I did not feel over stuffed and bloated after eating a heavy breakfast. I subbed the blueberry lemon crepe for the pancake to make it a perfect breakfast. My daughters had strawberry banana french toast and blueberry pancakes. Unfortunately, the bacon came out over cooked. However, Red brought out replacement bacon before we even could say anything. I had already taken a picture of the food with the over cooked bacon! Our IHOP has a nice positive vibe among all the servers and business was bustling on a Sunday morning! For the money that you spend at a McDonald's for breakfast, you can sit down and be served at IHOP.

It was decent. They do have the best pancakes. Our server was very attentive. There were about four mosquitos swarming as we ate, so I’m not sure what that was about! Overall a decent experience.
It was after 8 pm on a Friday. Not very many customers. Very competent and customer friendly service. Missed out on $6 specials (had stopped serving them).
Not very crowded (9 AM, mid-week) and the tables clean. Quick service but a little underwhelming in the taste and appearance departments. Hash browns had a light brown coat and white as driven snow beneath that was almost mashed. The Spinach and Mushroom Omelette had long/broad sections of 'greens'; chef didn't feel like chopping? The two cheeses were not mixed well - culinary style? Coffee wasn't piping hot but tasted better than 'drip' servers elsewhere but then Espresso is more my style.
Had to wait a bit once I walked in and it wasn't really busy. Also took a while to get my check and was in a bit of a rush. The server though was very warm, polite and professional. However she never came back after I received my meal to check on everything and wasn't offered a water with my other drink which normally happens. I got the split decision with cinnamon stack pancakes. Everything tasted very good. The bacon though wasn't extra crispy as I had requested. Overall it was a pleasant experience and a routine one compared to other IHOP's I have been to.
Wife and I ordered our meals Ordered appetizers. Well after waiting my wife's meal came out with appetizers. A few minutes later my order came. Was done with our meal and food was good considering there was not 1 other person in resturant at the time. After my wife finished here drink found small fly in her drink.
This location used to be very good. I had to drop from a five star in the past to a four star. (I do not use many four stars) Everyone was very nice and the place was pretty clean. But while eating a late lunch they were pulling booths apart to do some kind of maintenance right next to us. Food order was wrong on one plate and was cold on another, it was all corrected, tea was not refilled, our waiter had a personal emergency and had to have us pay out before we were done eating and really that is fine (Life happens). But how about getting someone else to step in and take their place. In my business when we have to have a team member bail, we have a fill in take over. Even if the fill in has to be the manager. The focus is that the customer is never aware of an issue and only sees great service. As soon as I saw the reviews were down to 3.8 from what i used to remember seeing as 4.2+ I was sure it was not just me. Corporate only needs to work on the basics of making the team aware how important they are and showing it. then that can trickle down to great customer service. As a customer I am paying 10 to 15% more for the food and service we are receiving from a few years ago. I get it, but would like for the service to not go down as price goes up.
I ordered two egg whites, two hash browns, silver dollar with fries. I received one egg white, no hash browns, fries and no silver dollars. I did get the fruit cup which was eliminated from a previous order last week. I understand at pickup at 10:45am they were short staffed with front desk. Lesson learned to check my bag for my order, I just trusted they placed everything.
If you order delivery from here or anywhere in Plano, there's a driver named Melvin M. that'll take food from your bag, leave it at the door and take off. Be mindful because you can't have that common expectation of everyone being polite.
Not my normal location, ordered on grubhub and this is the location is chose. My omelet was dry, i didn't even know that could be a thing. They ladies at the front were pleasant.
Because of lack of staff, sometimes there is waiting time for a service person to take an order. Getting a receipt and paying is also a waiting game. It's unfortunate that the service people have to tend to customers and clean off the tables.
Not really the greatest. But to be honest I don't expect any restaurant that stays open late like this to be any good. We waited for half an hour roughly for our food to arrive. The steak was overcooked even though we asked for medium rare. They gave us butter knives to cut with. The chicken was overcooked and dry. They didn't have balsamic vinaigrette nor any other type of dressing because they were out, so even though I asked for a vinaigrette I was given ranch. Not much else about the food. It was warm enough. The waitress was kind of attentive, she came a couple of times back to the table. Overall the experience was just a place to get something quick to eat. But nothing special.
My partner and I came in here on a late Friday evening. We were attended by Ronnie, who was running the whole floor by himself, and was very friendly. It took a while for him to get to us for our order and to give us our check because he was zooming through the floor waiting on about 6 to 8 tables at once, plus working on to go orders. It felt very inhumane but he carried a smile the whole time. There was a woman that seems to be the manager, and we would only see her walk out to the floor for a second and would go right back to the kitchen. While waiting for Ronnie to get our check, we asked the lady if she can grab our card to pay since Ronnie was busy and she just said he would be right with us. She was not that helpful to him on the floor. We live 5 minutes away from this location and although we loved the food and service, we would feel guilty to come back in to this location, knowing they only have one waiter running the show in the evenings.
Understaffed. Wait time 5-10 minutes while restaurant is half full while Empty tables waiting to get cleaned. No person at Front desk for 5 minutes. Staff is doing multiple tasks while not able to be at 2 places at the same time. Bacon is subpar. Eggs are good. Toast needs butter. Waiters are good.
Service was great. However, the dynamic of this place is to short staff and keep the bare minimum of employees. You have one or two people doing everything in the store. If business is slow they can handle this no problem. If an unexpected group comes in they will be overwhelmed very quickly. They do the best the can but it's a very poor management style. The food is below average. Stay away from anything not eggs or pancakes.
If not for the server Roshonda I wouldve packed my stuff and left. My understanding of how waiting and food service works gave me the patients needed to sit through the tough day they're having here. But I just admit the understaff is no excuse for the delay process. I went out of my usual of getting a steak omelette and tried the tbone steak at the recommendation of Roshonda, despite the cook over cooking it the first time Ms. Roshonda ensured that they fixed it and cooked it correctly. Overall the experience was good food was great and I will be considering returning because of service.
Its ok to not get my order right once, I like certain foods certain ways. Sometimes, the cook isn't used to do something a certain way. It's cool. Just fix it and I'm happy. But, screw it up a 2nd time, I don't want it. I wouldn't care if I hadn't eaten in a week. On a bright note, our waitress, Miranda was great. She was friendly, prompt, and the reason this review got 2 stars.
Burnt Hashbrowns in my Father's Steak omelet which ruined his appetite. Cook put a wad of straight butter and chocolate chips on my mothers chocolate chip pancakes which made a huge hole. The pancakes, were disgusting and so were the chocolate chips. The pancakes were... peeling?? They're not supposed to do that either. Waitress was unexceptional and rude. No refund on the burnt steak omelet either. Never coming back, absolutely terrible.
Once we got there we waited at the front for about 10 minutes I finally a white gentleman came to the front and said I guess I'll go ahead and serve you since nobody wants to .several individuals of Hispanic origin saw us waiting so what's up there including the manager and the assistant manager I guess they're the picture was a stereotype that we wouldn't tip well that we'd be bad customers we finally received it close to the front the server who was Caucasian was very nice very helpful we saw the I guess the system manager a female Hispanic came to our table finally after she walked through asking everybody how their food was and finally asked us some there was a Spanish guy waiting at the front and some white people had came in after him do you know that they seated him after and when the I guess the manager came up there he said I've been waiting I mean the demeanor the atmosphere the ambience was of the worst the food was hot but I don't appreciate the fact that we were treated like second class citizens I even tipped the guy off of $30 ticket $10 because he was very professional and very helpful but I will never eat there again and they weren't even that busy and I understand why next time I go to Denny's
Just middle of the road generic food served by someone distracted by ANYTHING else than customer service. Place had all the charm of the DMV. Check that. That’s an insult to the DMV.
I don't even want to leave a bad review. Let's just say I waited give or take 5 min to be greeted. My order was a totally different price than listed and lady had an attitude when I asked about it. Menu needs to be fixed or price needs to be honored. Fries were cold. Day time may be better. I wanted a refund, but the attitude wasnt worth it. Shout out to the Chef bro made a great burger.
Was about to place an order but then I remember the last time I was there I ordered strawberry cheesecake pancakes, and received regular pancakes with strawberry drizzle in a cup . The pancakes tasted like how wet dogs smell. I could’ve gagged. I’m afraid to order again and have to go through the hassle of arguing with them or going through a refund process. Decided to read recent reviews, I think I’ll pass.

This place used to be very good. This morning after a long night work, I went there to eat. I asked for no hash Browns and white toast with my eggs. I got hash browns with wheat bread, then I got an extra hash Browns, and I'm sure that I told them I do not want hedge Browns. So they had to change my bread. By the time they changed my bread to a white bread.My eggs were so cold that I could not even eat them.server never came to the table to check if the food was OK or not or if we need anything alse . I had to go chase the server to ask for some napkins ,looks like she couldn't even communicate in English. We had get up and walk to her to ask for the check . We had get up and ask for service. It was horrible.!!
I ordered for curbside pickup. I called when I arrived multiple times and there was no answer. After 10 minutes I finally went inside. The first server that I saw I advised I had ordered for curbside pick up and he looked confused. After returning from the restroom I discovered that my food was on the counter. I ordered a steak omelette all of my meat except for two pieces was gristle. I should have just ordered an egg only omelette because that’s all I got, but paid full price for a steak.
I don’t get how all the local tour guides have given this place a good rating. The food is bad, servers are unbelievably rude- like they just don’t want to do their job. I would never come back ever again. Corporate definitely needs to do something about the servers and the managers
We went around 1am and didn’t get seated because the workers were too busy talking in the back. We left and went to Waffle House for a way better experience.
I really don’t know how they have good reviews. Literally the worst ihop around the area. Long wait times. Bad service. Worst food. The servers are unbelievably rude.
One of my worst experiences. I just witnessed the employees threaten kids with violence over them calling him “bro”, such an unsettling and rude experience by the server. Our experience with the server was distressful as well. Very bad service, no hospitality.
I ordered a delivery of th new buttermilk biscuit and gravy combo and added mozzarella cheese sticks, at around 5:15 last night for delivery. When I got the food it was all cold. The gravy was so salty, and barely any sent, I couldn't eat it. The 4 sausages were cold in the middle. There was 1 over easy egg, supposed to be 2, and I asked for extra crispy hash browns, but they were barely brown and gummy. The mozzarella cheese sticks weren't even warm and the cheese was hard liked they weren't fried long enough to even melt. I wouldn't recommend this platter or place to anyone!
Service was horrible. There was only two other tables in the entire restaurant. It took about 5 minutes for our server to get to us to get our drink order and another 10-15 to get our food order. Once we got our food she never came around to check on us, I wanted to ask where the different syrups were for our side of pancakes but by the time she finally walked near us we had already finished everything. No drink refills, didn’t bother giving us a check. We waited another 10 minutes by the register before we saw her again. We could have left without paying and she would never know. I think another table ended up doing that. They should have closed this down instead of the nearby Dennys, the food was better as well as the service. The food was mediocre, I got the jalapeño kick burger and the meat was just bland. Didn’t taste like much, fries were good as well as the pancakes, but my entree was mediocre
Stopped by this location and had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. An employee was aggressive toward kids, threatening them over something as small as the word “bro.” Instead of stepping in, the manager seemed more interested in backing up the bad behavior than actually managing. Totally unprofessional atmosphere — customers deserve better than this kind of treatment. Won’t be coming back.
They literally ignored the growing line at the door for national pancake day. Didn’t greet guests or tell them what the wait time would be, mind you it was EMPTY nearly. Horrible. I’ll never come back.
I went to this location around 1pm. The lady seated me but no one came to take my drink order or food order. I could hear the employees laughing and talking loud. After ten minutes of waiting I walked out. I will never give my business to this location again.
Came here at 615am monday morning for breakfast. Young lady who eventually greated me told me she is leaving and I cannot be seated because thier was noone to serve food.....what's the point? Had to go down the street for breakfast
Ordered steak tips medium, came out well done, hard and chewy. Order Tres Leche pancakes, got plain, Ordered a strawberry splasher got strawberry lemonade.
3/23/25 - my delivery order was missing some items such as a piece of bacon and an egg. My cinnamon dippers had no cinnamon/sugar on them. The Philly cheese steak wasn’t edible because the bottom part of the bun had some sort of substance on it. I’m not sure why they thought it was okay to deliver that sandwich. They could have switch the bread… smh terrible. SOME OF THE COOKS AT THIS LOCATION NEED MORE TRAINING.
Large chunks of beef on a hoagie is not a Philly cheesesteak. What was advertised on the online ordering platform does not match. This is not acceptable. I want a full refund of food and also waiting an hour to get my food for 1 order from the delivery service. I'm not okay with the outcome of this product.

Food made my boyfriend sick the next morning, which is an achievement since anyone who knows him calls him "the human garbage disposal." My food was under fulfilling to make it simple. The wait was much longer, to be seated, greeted, served, and even pay then it should have been. not one refill was given. I don't expect a 5 star experience, but I'd assume they would give a bit more effort for a fairly empty restraunt. I'd warn people before I would suggest dining here. Review after 2 years : Horrible service from 3 of the staff we spoke with, wasn't given a coffee pot even tho we ordered coffee, salty waffles, raw and burnt bacon, I wouldn't suggest this ihop to my worst enemy
I went to ihop this morning as I thought they are trustable and will provide me clean tasty food but I was almost done with my French toast breakfast when I saw bunch of ants in my plate that was in maple syrup served with my meal, I can imagine how many fire ants I would have consumed , the manager Rafael Martinez was neglect and was not giving me incident report then I called the police officer then he bring the incident report to me to fill out as he thought I will walk away with food poisoning that was caused by fire ants. I am sharing video and pictures of my meal for refrence and I am not feeling okay I mite have to go to emergency soon
I say this everytime when I leave a bad review but honestly I didn’t see it coming. My friends and I went to IHOP late (currently 1:20am) at night. We were hoping to have some pancakes. We also understood they might be understaffed—it’s a Saturday night. Anyway, we showed up and met a customer patiently sitting and waiting for her to-go order. She said to us, “they aren’t sitting people.” About two minutes later, the hostess appeared and attempted to sit us. We let her know that, to our understanding, they aren’t sitting. The hostess responds that this might have been a misunderstanding—they were sitting people but there’s only one cook so the food was going to take about 25-20 minutes. We said that was alright but still the hostess didn’t sit us. A pair of customers then appeared and stood near the host desk. Shortly after, a staff member, male, appeared with food for the customer that was waiting. The customer confronted the man politely about being told they weren’t sitting people when to us, they said they were. The man said that this was the policy that the manager told him to say at first. He explained that the policy had changed (this changed within 10 minutes). He told the customer, “would you like to speak to my manager? Would you like to talk to the white one?” The lady said no and left with her food. He sat the pair of customers first after we told him we got there before them. Then waved at us from across the diner to follow him to our table. After witnessing his interaction, their poor attitude, and inability to address an issue and move forward with excellent customer service, my friends and I left. Not only did we leave, but we told any other potential customers parking their vehicles that this IHOP staff was being extremely rude, switching up on whether they were or weren’t sitting customers, and weren’t worth the trouble. I would give 0 stars if possible.
It stinks, you smell sewage or dirty mop water as soon as you walk in. I don't know how anyone could eat there. I didn't.I was just picking up the doordash delivery.
Worse branch here. Service is bad. People here dont understand basic english and takes too long. We had to make them understand about their offer which is weird. Like we are wasting our time for that. This is their job isn’t that their job to know about it all. Why would we do their job and over that they expect tip?! I dont understand?!
I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit. I placed a to-go order and used a gift card to pay for my purchase. The server who processed my transaction informed me that I still owed $8 and stated that she did not know how to complete the payment. Because this did not seem correct, I asked another server for assistance. He reviewed the transaction and confirmed that my order had already been paid in full and that no additional payment was required. This situation caused unnecessary confusion and frustration, and it significantly impacted my experience. Unfortunately, due to how this was handled, the visit was very unpleasant. I wanted to bring this to your attention and hope this feedback helps prevent similar situations in the future.
this is the worst place ever i went to get breakfast around 5am i assume they were waiting on shift change did not want to take my order after close to 10 min they finally came and you could tell they were not happy we ordered our food and had the waitress repeat my order just to make sure we were on same page i swear 4 min later our food was ready i thought wow that was quick but we were the only people there so didn't think much about it till i went to start eating the food was fairly warm gravy was cold bacon hard and covered in dripping grease the ham was so small its like they took a regular piece of ham and cut it into 4s eggs were the only thing over cooked toast was lightly toasted and half cold it felt like they just had the food under heat lamps ready to go soon as it got to our table boom all the food was cold so i obviously not eating this i sent it back and that's when all went worse the manager came pist off told me i have to wait till the next shift arrived if i wanted fresh food i declined the food that made her even more upset told me i was going to pay for the drinks i had regular size drinks and she charged me for large drinks told me thats just how they charge all the drinks i told them thats was not ok she said everything has gone up what do you expect the bill came out to $8.42 mind you for 2 regular drinks i gave her a $20 bill she went to back to get my change came back and said don't worry im not gonna charge you the 42 cents i told her not to do me any favors and gave her $1 to cover the $.42 cents she told me they don't have change for one dollar i couldn't make any sense out of the whole interaction and would just call corporate and let them no what is going on because that was crazy what we went through the night manager has no business holding that title long story short i would never ever recommend or suggest i hop on plano parkway it is the worse place to go food was horrible and the service to match if you find yourself at this location do your self the favor and CHECK YOUR RECEIPT i guarantee you are being over charged for your order i can't stress that enough CHECK Your Receipt if i could give this place 0 stars i would i will have all my friends come and leave review we have to help the people and get there rate down NO WAY they are 3 stars NO WAY!!!!both food and services are terrible hopefully i can help someone from getting ripped off or worse food poisoning i normally would never leave a review but this place is definitely a roach coach at best i would be doing a disservice if i didn't address this issue i really hope i help at least one family from going through this situation
I came in here with some friends. I used to come to this location growing up as a kid and wanted to see how it is. First thing I see is some guy in another stores uniform behind the counter being loud with an employee. They ignored us and kept talking. The whole time we were eating, he was in the back even in the parts where they were cooking the food, which is a major health violation. The whole time the waiter was very rude, ignoring us not saying anything. They put charges on the bill that we did not ask for. Overall very disappointed in what it was like coming back. I think they need to do some employee training and teach them about food safety not having random people in the back.
Hello everyone, this happened today 11/15/2025 around 12 PM (Noon). I went to the restaurant on a whim since I had not been there in a while. First thing I noticed was the restaurant was relatively dark. All the windows seemed to be covered up. It felt somewhat gloomy, also it was very cold..The host took me to a table that was not clean. He cleaned it while I waited next to the table and when he said he was done, I picked up additional scraps and handed to him. He did not seem to care. The waitress seemed nice, and I ordered the berry crepes with a side of bacon. She took the order. I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, no one was checking on me, I waited, and waited, and waited, finally after 27 minutes (I checked my phone to see when I arrived I thought I waited 20 minutes but obviously longer) I placed a couple of dollars on the table for the Pepsi, and asked to see the manager. I told the manager I was leaving and placed the money on the table for the drink. I told her I had been waiting approximately 20+ minutes. She said "Twenty minutes?" I said yes, she then said "We have 30 minute ticket time". Nobody told me it was going to take 30 minutes to get crepes and berries. She was not apologetic, or contrite in any way. I told her she had a poorly managed restaurant. There were a lot of empty tables and a wait at the front of the Restaurant. Obviously they're short on staff, but they need to give there customers a heads up. If I would have known I would have gone somewhere else which I did. Thank god for Pancake House who took care of me very well and were very efficient and friendly. I will try IHOP again but not this one.
I had a horrible experience last night. Went with a group of friends. It wasn’t too busy. One guy at our table received silverware that was ripped, he didn’t want to make a big deal, ok cool. He ordered fruit but they didn’t have any so he was brought 2 cups of apple sauce at end of the meal and instead of it being take off the ticket the server told him it’ll come from his pocket, so the guy just paid for it because he didn’t want it to affect the waiter. We had no condiments on our table, my order wasn’t made how I liked it & I don’t feel we even received bare minimum service. I.e Checking on guest after 2 minutes, name introduction, drink refill etc. the people I went out to eat with were like it’s ihop what do you expect , so ig our standards will be lowered and still be expected to tip. I work in service industry so I’m compassionate, but this was pure negligence and it ruined my evening.
