Salt and pepper pork chops we're so tasty! Their vegetables dishes are really fresh & good portions.
Best Chinese restaurant in Richmond! Nice staff and great food!!
I love this place, not only do they deliver at marina bay but the food is quite tasty. So happy to have a great local place for a week night meal!
A very good restaurant. The Hunan chicken and the curry chicken we're both tasty. The Hunan chicken had just the right amount of spice.
Great authentic chinese food, I order here all the time, people are super nice, everything fresh to order.
Good food not real expensive either I had the Hunan chicken and shrimp fried rice with chicken and a lot of green onions
Good Chinese food at a reasonable price. Anything on their extensive menu is available "to go". Nice people too!
Every time I go to Jin Ye I'm impressed with the quality and quantity of their entrees. Highly recommend!!!
Good, quick healthy food in beautiful simple space. Lunch specials are on point.
Always quick, reliable and tasty. The portions are large and the lunch specials include soup and salad.
The best Chinese food in town! Fresh, on time. Not too greesy and prices are reasonable.
The food was amazing and the service was top notch. We will definitely be back.
Food was very good and efficient..got to say is now one of my new favorite spots in the bay area
This is my fave place to eat Chinese food! The food is excellent! Wonton soup is delicious! Great hidin 💎!
So good! The type of classic mom & pop that has been disappearing from the east bay. Low key atmosphere, awesome food!
First time customer. Every item that we ordered was excellent tasting. Service was a bit slow but that was due to only two people working the restaurant including the kitchen for to-go orders and dine-in. I will be returning in the future.
Great freshly cooked lunch, with more food than I expected! Included soup, spring roll, tasty little salad and the main course. Fast service, very pleasant.
One of the best Chinese restaurants I have been. Super awesome food. Friendly personnel and great atmosphere after the Reno.
Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Crab Rangoons and Ribs are top tier.
Great Chinese food in Richmond California I will absolutely come again it was incredibly cheap and affordable pricing food Was exceptionally and great surprise as I mentioned earlier I was incredibly surprised how affordable it was the restaurant itself is fully remodeled incredibly comfortable and beautiful the waiter was very very nice lady super hard-working I can tell she ran the entire restaurant by herself as far as waiter in which I completely appreciate are used to be working in restaurants before they hard job I will absolutely come again.

Wow this good was so good and reasonably priced! We were just passing through and needed some dinner, found this gem of a location. Wish we had good food like this where we live.
Excellent place for a quiet evening to enjoy the meal without distraction. Also too good place for Wonton Soup when you're feeling down.
Fantastic lunch menu and great service! We normally get our meals to go when we are ordering dinner and they really pack a ton of food in the boxes. Our favorite meals are the salt and pepper pork chops, fried wontons, fried rice, and noodles. We haven't had a meal that we don't love and we normally go every other week.
One of the bests Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area. Their food is always fresh, delicious and prepared fast! The workers here are always pleasant and accommodating. We really appreciate you staying open during these trying times … You must give them a try!
This is my "go to" place for Chinese food! Love the Hot & Sour soup (we always order a large so we can take home the leftover). We've always found the food to be fresh and delicious. I was really bummed that Little China closed for remodeling (though it really needed it), but the wait was worth it as the restaurant was transformed into a beautiful space, now Jin Ye.
Great local spot for some good Chinese dishes. They have had some interesting chef specials the few times I’ve gone - I recommend those. They are open later than nearby restaurants as well which is great. Very friendly staff - love coming here.
Jin Ye, formerly known as Little China is a great neighborhood spot. They've always delivered fantastic Chinese food, but with their recent remodel they now also deliver great ambiance. The place is looking better than ever and the Chinese food is like comfort food. Highly recommend.
Delicious, fast, friendly, and they take credit cards over the phone for delivery orders. My son jumps for joy for the chow mien noodles when the food gets here. Wish they were open earlier on weekends!
It's fresh, friendly, inexpensive. The lunch specials during weekdays are a great tasty deal. There is sugar in many of the sauces, if you don't mind that, then perfect.
Little China has been around for while but I just discovered it. A small neighborhood place, not much to look at but they provides consistently good Chinese food. In good time and reasonably priced. It was recommended to me when I wanted a good wor won ton soup and they did not disappoint. It had a lovely clear broth filled with won tons, chicken breast, beef, shrimp and bok choy. I've been going back about once a week ever since.

Good quality food. Mushroom beef was great, chicken chow fun great, 5 spice bbq ribs appetizer were good but resembled dusty lava rocks, bbq tofu great, delicious seafood clay pot, house chow fun tasty. I recently tried their unadvertised specials and the egg tofu was fantastic as was the braised Chicken. Fantastic !

Always good food
I only gave a four this is my favorite Chinese restaurant but I can't understand if you want to take your leftover soup home you have to pay one dollar for the container
No msg but yes, chicken breast. Chow mein is flavorful without being too greasy. Small cramped restaurant and so I prefer to take food to go. Fast service and almost always get my Togo items just right.
I get my lunch takeaways from here. Had a craving for eggplant in garlic sauce. Note: their lunch specials include soup and salad only if you EAT IN. I got an egg roll with my special, so I was happy. Food was hot and yummy, enough left for a light bite at dinner.

The perfect local, for Chinese. Always to go or delivery Service is FAST and correct. It's not much to look at ambience wise but the food is solid and the service is fast and accurate.
I got the Hunan Salmon which is a house special, it was really good. They first serve you a little pot of tea and a couple fried wonton chips to start. Then you get your entree which was big enough for two servings. It's kind of slow when busy, but the food is good.
Good food overall. Enjoyed the chow mien and pot stickers. I liked the hot and sour soup but I wasn't wowed by it like other places. The hot and sour soup here is sweet, like sugar was added to it.

It was ok
Good if you eat meat their tofu was not good way under cooked but they were willing to re make for no charge. Even though she said that's the way the tofu comes.
Good little greasy spoon in Point Richmond, quality of food was excellent but the place feels Rundown. It is somewhat obvious that they prefer to do take out as opposed to table service.
I first want to mention the hours online are not accurate, even on their website. We were luckily taken in but after us there were about 5 parties of people turned away. The food was very fresh and presented nicely however everything was generally bland except the sesame chicken. The kung pao was not spicy at all. The prices are decent, but with all the Chinese options in the area, we most likely will not revisit. If you want authentic Chinese food I would also recommend elsewhere- this will not be your place.

The food is good but tonight the service was completely unacceptable. They piece mealed food to our table. We finished our soup, ended up having twice as much soup as normal waiting for the main courses. They brought one and then 30 minutes later I went to cancel the rest of the order since it seemed they had forgotten us . They said we should have ordered it all together. Thought we had! We have eaten here multiple times, never had this happen. We felt they made their poor service our fault. Since it seems they did have the rest of our meal ready, we took it to go home. By the way we ordered hot Saki, it never did show up. Not really planning to eat here again. Also, restaurant was NOT crowded and I saw only one take-out while we were there.
My husband and I went to this restaurant over the weekend. Not sure what all the hype is all about. The menu has fried chicken, and we received boneless fried something. The meat was too stringy to be chicken, so I am not sure what animal that was.

Nasty !!! Batter balls of chicken Dried out walnut shrimp dish. Burned fried rice. Little china?? Before Now! NASTY! Jin ye please call health department. Change name an look of building but not food. Close down already!!
I am an RN and stopped in to p/u dinner to go after a long shift in the ER. After 20 mins waiting out front I went in to check in my order. The person at the front desk waved her hand as if to shoo me away and with a rude voice said, it’s not ready yet! As a person of color, I took this personal. My husband who not of color was in the car and not a witness but was offended by anyone being treated this way. In these trying times, forgiveness must come into play but We will not ever support a business that allows their staff to behave in this manner. Stay happy & well ! Alta RN
the customer service was aloof, the lemon chicken was blah the fried rice was tepid , the only saving grace was the spr ing roll and pot stickers...run dont walk..away from this resturant
Came into the place twice food was pretty good but the service was very bad not good customer service all they worried about is taking my money they lost my receipt and took my credit card and had to print out another one before they let me take my food when I'm standing right there at the counter don't think I'm coming back again
This was an awful experience. We ordered take out and when picking up the food, we saw the cook drop zucchini on the floor to then put it back on the prep area and proceed to chop it. This obviously didn't inspire us great trust but we still gave it a try. Everything we ordered tasted awful: the breading on the sweat and sour pork was super thick and the meat itself really fatty. Potstickers were also a huge let down by being mostly dough and little filling. The vegetable chow main was ok.
This review is a long time coming. I discovered this place about 4 years ago. When I first found it, I actually enjoyed it very much. I thought it was a step up from some of the other near by small chinese spots in richmond. I used to always think the food was better then the atmosphere and that if they renovated it would really be a decent place to have lunch of dinner... The service has always been less then desired. Feeling rushed to get in and get out.. Then maybe 4 or 5 months ago they did renovate and it looks great! Inside is a much better feel but unfortunately maybe they are now lacking on their most important part.. The food!... Today my boyfriend and I called in a pick up order (which I highly suggest around lunch if your picking up because they get busy...anyways, when he came home with the food it was almost inedible and half way through, I found a big black hair in my chow fun... Which tasted gross anyways... It was way overcooked and tasted like mush.... And my fried rice was UNDERCOOKED.... This was a disaster and I will not be returning... Expect maybe to ask for a refund for today's lunch! A few hours later I got super sick and threw up and had to leave work so that really ruined my day and I lost hours.. 100% sure I got food poisoning from here today! Disaponted here for the last time! Not to mention my bf and I are professional chefs haha jokes on us! We should have stayed home and cooked.... consequences of being lazy!
