These workers were so nice! The person that took the order, the one who I talked to at the window, and then the 1 that brought our food out. Very good customer service! Plus my order was kind of complicated abd it was all exactly right :)

BEST POPEYES EVER VISITED!!!! The chicken was the ultimate chicken and the place was so clean and the staff was professional, courteous and it was also during shift change!! Amazing, I would drive to Livingston just for their chicken!! I live in Houston, my secondary (lake house) home is 10 miles from Livingston. My son and I are there alot and again, both of us were amazed at the quality of chicken and the cleanliness!! A MUST STOP!!!!
Compared to the other Popeyes in the surrounding areas they have great customer service. I didn’t have to wait too long for my food and it was fresh. Tanya was the person who took my order.
Ordered the Flounder burger for the first time. It was delicious. I always get the large rice and beans. The employees were very helpful and accurate with my order. We did get to eat inside. They weren't busy. Covid19 was also in affect.
So havent been here at this location in awhile due to bad experience with the night manager she was so rude but decided to give it another try last night and OH MY what a wonderful experience the manager last night was the sweetest pregnant women i came across and not only that she helped me out by goin through her own popeyes app and helpi g me decide on great deal for a family meal not only was i impressed by her but im in love hate that i did t get her name she was awesome and the fact i had to wait on my food that usually is a burden but this time i did not mind cause the execution was all well worth it great job this second chance visit was worth it 5 stars for the grreat service and beautiful smile
Drive thru experience: The line was sorta long, but moved at a good pace. That's a sign of a good location. Ordered the new Chicken sandwich (spicy) Bun was fresh, chicken was juicy, pickles had the elastic crunch, and the sauce had a light heat that wasn't overbearing. Definitely fit the hype. The spicy sauce, and the crunch of the breading are what really set it apart from anywhere else (Fast food wise).

This store had the best service I've ever received from a Popeyes. I came today expecting a long wait and decent food but I got a short wait and amazing food! Everything was cooked to perfection, tasted super fresh, and the staff was extremely friendly. Thank you so much for all your hard work guys, sometimes something as simple as fried Chicken can make somebody's day ☺️
The classic chicken sandwich is the best sandwich ever in life!! If you haven't tried it drop what your doing... Now..... I mean right now and go get you one!! It's freaking A AMAZING guys!!!!
It's been a long time since I have eaten at Popeyes but I got a random craving for some red beans and rice so I decided to stop by and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a chicken sandwich with red beans and rice along with a chilled mango lemonade and I am far from disappointed. The lady at the drive through was very kind and respectful. The chicken was ever so slightly overcooked but somehow still very juicy and I've completely forgotten about how good the spice mix is on their fried chicken! The red beans and rice were slightly liquidy but the flavor was still fantastic as was the flavor of the chilled mango lemonade. Overall, I really enjoyed this visit and it made me wonder why I ever stopped eating at Popeyes to begin with! My only hope is that future visits will be just as fantastic as this visit turned out to be!
This is one of the best Popeyes in Houston. Never fails when I come here. From the moment I ordered to the end of receiving my order. Very fast and efficient.
Clean, fresh, friendly. My family stopped in after running errands and were able to order fairly quickly. We got our drinks and found a table. Our food was out just after. Everything was piping hot and smelled amazing. The team looked very happy. I almost never get to see that. You could hear the chatter and banter between them. Great work culture that is RARE. If I'm on that side of town again, I'll pop into this establishment.
First time at this location and besides the mobile app not working, I had a pleasant experience. Also, even though the sauce that was suppose to be on the side of my hot wings wasn't on the side or on them in fact. The fact that the manager made up for app not working by giving me the app only offer in the store made up for my order not being correct. She didn't have to give me the offer but she did and I'm appreciative...keep doing what you're doing! I hate I didn't get her name! It was the Porter location.
The Popeye's in Porter is excellent. I do not know how much the food quality varies between the various franchises, but the one in Porter is very very good. Best fried chicken in the Houston area. Popeye's just opened a new restaurant in Kingwood, we will try it, but no way it can be better than the one in Porter. This review was written a few years ago. Now my recent visit. I wish Franchisees would go through their drive throughs unannounced and try to place an order. I know payroll is an expense, but it is in my opinion extremely critical that the person taking ones order can speak plain English. I placed my order, received it at the drive through and drove 10 minutes to my home only to find that the order was only 1/2 correct. I was billed for my proper order, but given the wrong order. I was the only car in line. It was not worth my time to return, but I will remove this location from my list for future visits,
Cashier had exceedingly great customer service, our food was fresh and hot!
It's almost all deep fried food. Small but tasty menu. They do have a good selection of sides & you can substitute any side for fries with the combo. The mango lemonade was tasty & fries are crisp & hot. We like the ghost pepper chicken. It's spicy, but there are no actual ghost peppers in the sauce. It's cayenne (of course- it's Cajun!). The chicken fingers are really messy, but enormous, & all the chicken at Popeye's is real chicken breast, not compressed meat, same with their sandwiches. Service is fast. Bring a sweater, they keep it chilly in there! Good value. The food is Cajun, so maybe not a good option for those who don't like it kickin'. Even the fries. Vegetarians can order fries, baked potato, cole slaw, mac & cheese, and lemonade. Not for vegans.
Excellent service, excellent value, excellent food! How is your Mac n Cheese so perfect every time? I used to love red beans and rice until my first visit to your store a month ago - and I just moved to Texas recently. (I've been to your location 3 times in the past month - you're becoming my go-to here 😆). It's a treat to be able to order at the drive through, have clear communication with the employee over the speaker who's working the drive through, and have delicious fresh food!!! Note: The chicken wings and legs were tiny - still so delicious!, but that's not anyone's fault - so please note that it didn't take away from the value or experience of my meal. ❤️

Although I entered at a busy time the employee didn’t notice and welcome me in when it was my turn to give my order. She did not rush me. She let me take my time to decide what I wanted.

Ok their new wings are pretty good! I tried the bone in wings, they come spicy, I did garlic Parmesan and let me tell you… I don’t like spicy, these are spicy, they were DELICIOUS!! I ordered them the other day and again today, go try them! I love their chicken sandwiches when they are fresh bc hot also but the kiddo LOVES the chicken, classic.. every day of the week!
Our order was messed up. The staff took care of the mixup. It is hard to hear the staff as background music is loud. The food was delicious once we got the order straightened out.
Drive through order taker was super friendly. My Cajun flounder sandwich was really good, as was my wife's spicy chicken sandwich. We had a large order, that was mostly right, however, the did mess up & give us the wrong sides on a couple. Overall, it was good.
The food was awesome (as always) and the frozen drinks were just as good. Front counter could have been a bit faster, but I understand, we all get behind, or overwhelmed. All in all, not bad.
Let us order a 12 pc meal in classic sent us to the window and THEN informed us it would be a 15 minute wait because they dont actually have classic chicken ready yet
I go here sometimes with my coworkers for lunch and I always get the 3 chicken strip meal with fries or just a basket of fries. The consistency is there and always good to stop by for lunch when we don't want What A Burger lol. 🤣 Sometimes the service is slow but the food is always fresh so I can't really complain.
Be careful... everything is extra hot (temp). Also, the chicken breast that I had, was not carefully cut. There was a section of tiny wing bones in it that could have been dangerous had I swallowed them. However, Popeyes Chicken and their sides really win best around flavor in this (Porter) area.
Left feeling a little greasy, but hey, I ordered fried chicken! Seemed a little pricey. I paid 8.32 for a number 3 combo. Thought I was getting a leg and thigh but it was a three piece meal. So it was really my fault I paid for more food than I wanted.
Second time in a row that we have gone through the drive through this week and they are out of something at the Kingwood, Northpark and the Porter locations. But we did get to sample the new fish burger and it was very good, much better than McDonald's and Arby's and definitely better than Burger King!
Definitely check your food when ordering mac and cheese. Multiple times (no exaggeration) there was only a tablespoon of mac and cheese. The container doesn’t even be filled half way. Other than that food is fresh if you go anytime before 7pm
I tried this location again. Once again I was shorted an apple pie, a piece of chicken and biscuits. I had to request the sprite that came with the order. The wait was long and no communication on why. Horrible customer service. I sincerely hope my neighbor enjoyed the chicken as I won't be going back to this location. Someone can't count.
The chicken was dry and they forgot part of our order.

All I'm saying is check your drive thru order before leaving. The other day I ordered a side of mac and cheese (extra charge) from store on 494 in Kingwood, got fries. Today at the Porter store, asked for ranch for my tenders. it's on the receipt, got nothing.
Never have Mac & cheese. Always out of diet Coke and the employees are rude and condescending. Especially the one that thinks she is in charge. I never got my drink although I paid for it. I'll never visit that store again. And maybe get . My chicken at somewhere they care about their customers

Ordered sandwich through drive-through. After being asked to pull forward and s long wait, the worker asked what did you order they didn't put it in. I gave the order again for the one sandwich, and after another long wait, I got food and drove away. Got home, and it wasn't even correct. Seems this location may not be your best bet for a quick correct meal.
Came here to get a 16 PC with 3 large sides for my family, they left out the Mac And Cheese, when I'm naming what was on the order, they literally told me they don't serve rice... RED BEANS AND RICE IS RICE MAN! I kinda took the hint and disregarded the phone call, they did not believe me or were gonna help me, they even claimed I got the wrong Popeyes, I worked across from this one for 5 years trust me I know what location I'm talking about. Oh well some of the employees need to learn the menu I guess. Since I did not get to enjoy the one thing I wanted out of all the food paid for, yall get a 2 star. Hope things come together. Thank you
Went through drive thru ordered an 8 piece which should be 2 pieces of each instead we got 4 wings 4 legs and 1 breast. NO THIGHS AT ALL. My husband eats the 1 breast I ate all the legs. Not happy check your boxes before you leave
I’ve ordered delivery and pick up multiple times and they ALWAYS forget something. It’s to the point that when I get my food delivered I have to check the bag to see what they missed this time. From my sides, sauces, and even a whole combo missing.
I've come here many time's, & everything was good. But not tonight. Chicken was cold, & tasted old. Smh🤦🏾♂️
When I pulled up to the drive-through, nobody greeted me, then kept trying to upsell me after I said “may I please just get a chicken sandwich combo with lemonade that will be all”. When I pulled up to the window, I waited 5 minutes!!!!! until the window person acknowledged me. When she acknowledged me, she was still trying to upsell me! She didn’t even greet me after I paid for my food. She lazily walked over to the counter to grab my food, gave it to me, and then that was the end of the interaction. This Popeyes has no customer service and a horrible worker atmosphere. Edit: FRIES ARENT EVEN IN THE BAG I went to the parking lot to check the order, this is fresh!!!!!
Ordered delivery thought I was getting new caney but instead got porter and they forgot the fries and when i called the women that dropped off my items she said the only thing they handed her was the box and sauces called after an hr cause the first 30 minutes they weren't answering.when they answered they said no my bagger said she did put everything . First time coming to popeyes around 7:30 PM. They didn’t have their famous new chicken sandwich :( and as am walking in, the cashier is rubbing his nose before attending a customer. The restroom had the crust from the chicken all over the floor. (Most fast food are not that clean, but this one was a little too much.
I love Popeyes but this place is getting worse and worse First of all, they don't have ice in the lobby machine for a couple months or more and right now the soda machine isn't working, my chiken looks old and dry, very disappointed
Went to Popeyes first of last week, arrived home with no side order. Went to Popeyes today ordered chicken tenders they were so dry could hardly eat them I ask the drive threw person to check to be sure I received the side with the order, she thought it was funny that I ask that. She turned and told her coworkers what I said. They all laughed
I have a Popeyes that is located about 3 blocks from my house but will not go to it because the food is always old, i finally found this location and the food has always been surprisingly fresh. It is 23 miles from my house to this location and we frequent this place at least once a week, the last two visits the food was subpar, the first time. I did not say anything , thinking it was a fluke, but two times in a row, chicken was cold, beans and rice, mashed potatoes were cold and jad little gravy or beans. This was our last visit. People pay lots of mòney for food these days and you spend most of your time prepackaging so you don't have to work too hard. This is why i do not go to any other Popeyes, I thought you took pride in your work.
Came through drive thru twice on two separate days and the lady taking orders was not listening at all. Once we pulled up to the window she asked what we ordered even though she charged us for an order already. Had incomplete order with missing items both occasions. Will not return to this location.
This place is so unorganized. From the design of the drive thru, the service and not having enough food prepared. I pull in the order Lane and had two other vehicles order and never did get service. I order two chicken sandwichs and they said it was a 15 minute wait. For fast food, POPEYE'S SUCKS

Uber Order Chicken Nuggets tasted old and cold. Chicken meal was cold Red beans and rice, cold Missing Strawberry Bisquit. Wish I read reviews before ordering here, seems like a common issue the Management does not want to address.
Room temp food, ridiculously slow drive thru times, and no utensils provided. This place needs to be shut down.
This was the first time to eat the chicken sandwich that had such high reviews. The sandwich sucked had no flavor and was about half the size of the small bun. I ordered the spicy sandwich and it had no flavor, I took it back and the manager told me that the chicken itself had no spices on it that the spice was the mayo and pickle on the sandwich. The chicken had no flavor I expected it to have the spicy flavor of their chicken. The fries were also cold which they replaced with hot fries. I will never order the chicken sandwich again from there and I don’t recommend that anyone does, if you want a real chicken sandwich go to chick-fil. Always good there, I think most likely the first sandwiches may have been better and the second round the corporation thought that could fool the public. I am very disappointed with Popeye’s chicken.
I went this past Thursday, I got a family meal. You expect a nice hot meal but thats not what I got. The chicken was cold and the fries were cold as well. It seems it was there for a really long time. Pieces didn't have meat at all. If I was you, pls ask for hot chicken or recent chicken.

Every time I go here I get Fu#%ed at the drive thru! Either the chicken is old and cold or you get something you didn’t order. I truly believe they just give you what they want you to have and hope you don’t turn around to throw it back at them. Drive past here and stop at the other location on north park.
In drive thru line over 39 min. Last night. Car in front of me was at window about 15 min. I call them from my car. They said sorry. Then they called me back and said that I had called the wrong store. I looked up the number again and it was the same number. They lied.
I would highly recommend you see a current health inspection report. It’s been 2 months since I reported to both Popeye’s corporate and our local county health department. No response from their corporate office. I don’t like to leave negative ratings. But a cockroach fried into the batter of my elderly parents chicken was enough to ruin their desire to ever eat at this location again! The assistant manager refunded the dinner, for some reason the manager never came out of the office. We didn’t want a free meal, we want a clean facility with food minus the extra side of a roach!
Cashier Lady at the window was very rude! We overheard her saying she had been working 8 weeks straight with No Off days. I work Monday thru Friday and I am not rude to my customers. You should always greet your customers with a Nice Attitude.
Good luck getting your food how you order it. EVERYTIME I go there and order the chicken sandwich with only pickles, NO MAYONNAISE, they do it wrong and put mayonnaise on it every freaking time!!!!! Also they like to add more food on there than what you order. This time, again, mayonnaise on the no mayonnaise chicken sandwich AND two extra chicken sandwiches. I checked the receipt and yes, I paid for them. Btw, chicken is gross if being reheated, so two chicken sandwiches in the trash. Thanks again!!!
March 1st drive thru I ordered a chicken sandwich combo with red beans and rice. I paid for my order at 1:12pm, she gave me my drink and change then left me waiting. She came back to window after about 3 minutes and said "I'm sorry but they're cooking the chicken and it will be 2 minutes, is that okay" I said yes, she told me to pull up and she will bring it out. I waited 15 more minutes for her to come out without my food to tell me "I'm so sorry but we are out of the chicken for the sandwich" I said "what, why did it take you this long to tell me that when you told me they were cooking it, I've been waiting here for 15 minutes" she said "have you really waited that long" I gave her my receipt to show the time I paid and prove that I waited 18 minutes. She apologized and asked what do I want them to do. I was very upset and hungry. I said just give me my money back. They wasted my time and I didn't have time to go get food or time to eat. I don't understand why they left me waiting so long and I don't understand why they were out of chicken for their new advertised special sandwich. Why not offer me chicken breast meal or anything!! Two days later this still aggravates and disappoints me
This location is the slowest Popeyes I have ever been to, they are slower than the other one on 494, in Porter, TX. I waited 20 minutes for my food which consisted of 4 sandwiches and 3 fries. I was told it would be a 10 minute wait on 2 of the chicken sandwiches because they needed to "thaw out the patties and fry them". I agreed to wait the 10 minutes but ended up waiting almost an additional 20 minutes. There were several others parked in the parking lot waiting on their food also. By the time I got home with our food the ice in my tea had completely melted and was watered down. That's how you know you were made to wait way, way, way too long. This location needs to do better.
Make sure you check your order thoroughly if you're getting something to go. I went there at 9pm on Friday night. This franchise closes at 11 pm. I ordered a mixed 9 piece box. I got 7 dark pieces and the 2 white pieces of chicken. The white pieces were so old that I couldn't even break it with my fingers. Also got some red beans and rice and mashed potatoes as my 2 sides. No utensils were put in the bag. The biscuits were so hard and old also. If you decide to go to this particular store, please make sure you check your order. This is pitiful. I'd bring it back to complain but I live too far away.
The lady taking orders in the drive-thru was clearly not listening. She was giggling for the whole first half of the order, and couldn’t seem to get the order right. When we got our order, which I will say was nice and quick, we didn’t get any straws, plasticware, or the sauce that she specifically asked us about (which shouldn’t be that hard considering these things go into ever to-go order)! We also didn’t get the dessert we ordered. We went later in the afternoon and they were out of two of the three desserts, even the brand new one they were advertising. Kind of ridiculous all around.
I could give negative stars I would! I placed a delivery order, and received the wrong order. They have absolutely refused to help in any way! My order was over $80!!! Any time I call to speak with management I’m told I’ll receive a call back, it’s been over a week and no one has bothered to call me back! I’ve tried contacting corporate but apparently they don’t care either, bc I haven’t heard anything from them either.
Did a online order for my lunch. I only have a hour for my lunch. I waited 30 minutes in line. Cars were leaving and I would of left myself but I placed a online order so I paid in advance. Finally got to the window and no I'm sorry , no explanation. Waited a additional 10 minutes at the window. Got my food drove back to work. Took a bite of the red beans and rice. It was ice cold. Like they just dumped it out of the bag and did not heat it up. The worst food I've ever received from that location but the service was just as horrible. That whole location needs a class in customer service skills. Good customer service is what drives your sales. Instead it's lack of is gonna drive your customers away. Way to go Popeyes, your employing the worst management and associates.
It was a Sunday night, and I had a very simple order: 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 medium fries and a regular order of Mac & cheese. It took entirely too long for someone to greet me at the speaker and take my order. When I got to the window I paid, then the guy came back and said "I'm sorry, we don't have any mac & cheese right now" and didn't even offer to substitute it for something else, I had to ask. When they handed me the bag I checked it only to find my 2 sandwiches with a handful of fries just laying in the bottom, and that was literally all. He looked surprised when I asked for the rest of my order. Everyone in there was either on their phone or just not paying any attention to their work. I worked fast food for over 8 years, and I know that it is not that difficult to get an order like that right and be attentive to the customers & your work. I will not be returning any time soon.

I just went to order food, the second lane was closed didn’t no, until I had already drove up to the speaker to order. When I placed my order, the guy that was taking my order kept putting me on hold and he didn’t even get my order right and then when I go to the window I get charged for three extra sauces when I ordered two combos and a sandwich. On top of that, they didn’t have any Cajun fries and that was a reason I was there for.
I went 10 minutes before they closes and they had already shut the store down. They were joking around and eating when I tried to pull up thinking the intercom was broken. They ignored me until they saw that I was staring at them. Then they just tried to signal they were closed and eventually opened the window to say that they were closed. I said that yall are still open for 10 more minutes and they were like we have been out of chicken for 30 so we just decided to close. I said that's not how hours of operation work and they said well we don't have any food and closed the window. First time trying to use the Porter location and completely disappointed in their staff.
If I could give it less than one star, I absolutely would. This particular location is a disaster. If I knew who owned or franchise this location, I would make sure never to step into any of those restaurants ever again. I would automatically know how awful it would be.

I ordered a combo with a large drink and a 2 piece combo. The gentleman taking my order asked me what sides I would like with my meals but forgot to ask me for my drink order with the 2 piece meal. I came up to the window to pay and told him that he forgot to get my drink order with the 2 piece meal and from then on he started arguing with me, telling me that I should have told him that they were combos in the first place. I explained to him that I ordered the combos and that it wasn't making any sense that he would ask me what sides I would like with my meal if they weren't combos as well as take my drink order for one of the meals. He handed me my food and I was waiting for the drink that I ordered in the first place and he asked me what I needed and I said I'm waiting on my drink. He then went on to argue with me again about how I should have been specific. I went ahead and cancelled my order. This employee has ruined my experience here at this location, making me no longer want to be a customer here. I will be making a complaint with upper management about this employee's behavior towards me!
Food was old and cold. When I complained about it tasting burnt as if it was fried in old grease. They tried to tell me that it would be a 20 minute wait for fresh chicken. I asked for spicy and it was too bland. The workers have a horrible attitude. They need to realize without customers the doors would close and they would become unemployed.
I went to popeyes i order a 4 pice combo at the drive tru the chicken was dried and cold i returned the chicken in the front lobby and ask for fresh chicken i was told it would take 15 minutes i agreed to wait for the chicken when i got hom i got home 3 pices we're hot but the chicken breast was cold hard and dried. When I called the restaurant the manager lied and began to tell about camera footage...this was the worst ever popeyes experience I will not be recommending this popeyes location in porter tx next to taco bell to anyone.
So where do I start. 😂 Just to have in mind we ordered the Family Meal 12 ps spicy. 2 sides ( coleslaw and mashed potatoes) *We waited more than 20 min in line . *Had no plates or box for buiskets ( they placed them inside with chicken) *The chicken was a MINIATURE version. * I know I like my chicken crispy but man this was almost like if they forgot to take it out the fryer 😭 * Half of the box was just wings. * Obviously the chicken was DRY. And just to mention we buy Popeyes chicken all the time. We know how big the chicken is. But it was the first time in this location.
I stopped going here as every time I would go I ordered a three piece meal. Two of the three pieces are always chicken wings which if they are even edible are literally one bit of food. I would pay 10$ for the meal and would always still be hungry after I ate. The picture I attached to this is two pieces of chicken. It’s truly sad when a corporate company is ripping people off of their hard earned money. When I spoke to a manager she was rude to me and I just feel this company does not deserve the money it’s customers pay them. Horrible product horrible value
They were out of all the sides, that sucked but not the reason for this review. I asked for gravy and they had it, pretty sure they charged me extra for the gravy too, got home and they didn't put it in there. The biscuits were cold and to top it all off the tenders were tiny, very small and looked like there were bites taken out of each one!!! Not one good thing to say about this place. Threw away 15 bucks. Go to the one in New caney because you won't feel hungry and robbed after you visit that one. Here are pics of the skinny already bitten tenders.
location is nothing but a joke! Tonight was the last straw. Put 2 containers of red beans and rice in the bag upside down! They never can ring up a coupon and always end up ringing it up some weird way and then charge you for things on the coupon. Last 3 times I have been in there they never have the mac and cheese even though they have a big sign on the counter. Always some excuse as to why they don't have it. Never going back again. Churches is up the road and from now on I will avoid Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen
