Enchanting Moments TCI

My husband and I dined at Lua for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Drinks were superb, food was fresh and tasty, and the ambiance and view was like no other. If you’re looking for a serene experience, Lua is the place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. 10/10! Amazing experience and service.

Our family had the pleasure of visiting Lua for the first time for dinner. The setting and atmosphere was the first surprise followed by the attentive service and amazing hospitality by their hard working staff. Cheers to the chef for top notch fresh dishes that delighted our palettes! We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try their pizza! Thanks to Maribel for this recommendation!

We had a great lunch at the Lua. The prices were also very reasonable considering the complex is the site of super rich villas. It’s an astonishing environment which was created around here.

I don’t give out five stars often but when I do you can be sure its an excellent meal and experience. This was far and away the best restaurant we visited on TCI. I have been to amazing restaurants in London, Paris, and New York in the last 8 months and this was a five star dining experience. $600 for dinner for three adults and two children.

Review of Lua in Turks and Caicos On our last evening in Turks and Caicos, we dined at Lua, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience. The evening began with an order of oysters, which were simply fantastic—fresh, briny, and perfectly chilled. The kale and avocado salad that followed was equally impressive, with flavors that were both vibrant and well-balanced. For our main courses, we indulged in the veal chops and the branzino. Both dishes were expertly prepared, showcasing the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the kitchen. The veal chops were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the branzino was light, flaky, and complemented by its accompaniments. We paired our meal with a bottle of Mockingbird Cabernet, which turned out to be exquisite. Its rich, full-bodied profile elevated each bite, enhancing the entire dining experience. Although we rarely order dessert, we couldn’t resist the tiramisu and the mille-feuille—and we were so glad we didn’t. It was probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. The mascarpone cheese and delicate puff pastry layers truly lived up to the “thousand leaves” promise. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors. Lua provided the perfect ending to a wonderful trip. From the ambiance to the impeccable service and outstanding dishes, it’s a dining experience we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommended!

Paula took such great care of us from start to end. We was greeted by Saviola with a welcoming spirit and smile. The food was great! I recommend the wild caught Jumbo Prawns.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner at Lua, and it was an incredible experience! The views were stunning, the decor was fresh and modern, and the food was creative and absolutely delicious. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated Chef Rajesh making special dishes just for me — they were amazing! Chef Dul added a sweet touch to our evening with a beautiful cake that made the celebration extra special. The cocktails were top-notch, and Damien, the wine sommelier, gave us some fantastic recommendations that paired perfectly with our meal. The service was outstanding from start to finish. GM Atila was in the lobby personally welcoming guests, which was such a nice touch. Executive Chef Neerul and F&B Director Tennyson checked in with every table, making sure everyone was having a great time. Lua has an amazing team, and they made our evening unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back soon!

If you are looking for the perfect blend of island luxury and incredible dining, Lua Beach House in Turks and Caicos is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you wake up until the stars come out, the experience is nothing short of wonderful. Breakfast: The Perfect Start The morning dining experience sets a high bar with a full three-course breakfast. Unlike many resorts that offer a standard buffet, the options here are plentiful and curated. Whether you want something light and tropical or a hearty start to your day, the quality and presentation are consistently top-tier. Lunch & Casual Bites The lunch menu offers a great variety of fresh, island-inspired dishes that are perfect for a midday break. A standout feature is the Wood-Fired pizza—it’s the ideal "quick bite" that doesn't sacrifice quality. The crust is perfect, and it’s a great option if you want something delicious without a long, formal sit-down. Dinner: Excellence on a Plate Dinner at Lua is where the magic really happens. The menu is sophisticated and diverse, offering excellent options that highlight local flavors with a modern twist. The atmosphere, combined with the high level of service, makes every evening meal feel like a special occasion. The Verdict: Lua Beach House delivers a seamless, high-quality dining journey. Whether you're there for the expansive breakfasts or a cozy wood-fired pizza by the beach, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended!

Lua Beach House was so good we found ourselves back for breakfast a second time. The food was consistently fresh and full of flavor, and the pastries truly stood out; light, buttery, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. There’s an effortless, beachy charm to the place, and the freshness of the food really shines. A perfect spot to start the day and one we’d happily return to again and again.

By far the best resto experience we’ve had in TCI. The setting, interior, decor and vibes are spectacular. The food was amazing. Aelisea (sp?) our server made the experience for us as it was our honeymoon, she’s knowledgeable and very sweet. We were there for dinner and will come back for lunch to see the spectacle in daylight. Thank you!

This restaurant was stunning! Everything about it: the ambiance, aesthetic, live music, hardworking staff. They were super crowded the night we came, but the staff juggled it well and would check on us. We loved sipping cocktails and listening to music, the popover rolls are to DIE FOR. Food is delicious, thank you!!

Lua Beach House completely won us over …the staff are warm and genuinely attentive, the resort grounds feel 7-star, beautifully maintained with the most breathtaking sunset spot, and the food is unforgettable (please order the Lobster Pizza… you’ll thank me, and the Red Snapper and Lobster Special are just as incredible). Their beachwear boutique is full of stunning pieces at very reasonable prices, and overall, we loved every moment here and will definitely be back. P.S. THANK YOU!!

The food was great! The atmosphere was amazing with the jazz music. Aleissea was very attentive during our time at the Lua Restaurant. I got the salmon and my mom got the lobster both very good dishes to the menu! The workers are very sweet!

Food was delicious. We had the red snapper and lobster pasta and finished with the souffle. Stefanie provided excellent service and was so pleasant. The atmosphere is very relaxed. They have a variety of dining options in the restaurant. Inside, on the deck, and on the beach. We would definitely go back.

You have got to be here for the experience and the ambience and then the food. Great atmosphere and lovely setting. We ordered the Atlantic Salmon, Alaskan Cod and chicken 65. Family enjoyed both food and the ambience

We stopped here for lunch on our way from the airport to our villa and was so impressed. The grounds are beautiful and the tofu bowl hit the spot. The watermelon crushes were great too! Perfect drink after a long flight. The staff was wonderful and kind- definitely a great place to check out for lunch, dinner or just drinks

We went to Lua on the last night of our vacation and it was the perfect choice! The ambiance, and sunset were amazing! It was such a beautiful place. We were there on a Friday and Fridays are when they have a pizza special with drink specials from 6-8. The pizzas were phenomenal, and drinks were just as good. Our server was so nice too! Overall would definitely go back for pizza and the sunset!

Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of dishes eating in the bar on our first night here. Thai beef salad, chili tofu, scallop tiradito, and Korean crispy rice were all quite good. Local beers from Turk’s Head are available but not highlighted on menu — way better than the more expensive imported Coors Light.

Spent four days in Turks with my best friend, and this place by far the best meal we had.Originally we stayed at the Ritz and were underwhelmed. We met a wonderful guy named Tenny who arranged for us to come to Lua, as you can see the restaurant is gorgeous. The sunset was just as spectacular as the food, true fine dining but still relaxed calm atmosphere. Our waitress was just the best, sweet, kind and funny who had a lovely singing voice- table next to us was celebrating an anniversary. Highly recommend.

Wow. Talking about a surprise meal. My wife and I had one of the most pleasant meal experiences of our lives here. The dishes were perfectly cooked. The quality and attention was worth the $. Don’t skip the dessert. The chocolate flambé and the cheesecake were an experience on their own.

K

Excellent experience from start to finish. Started with a cocktail in the lounge area overlooking the lagoon for sunset, very picturesque. Soba noodle salad starter was my wife's favorite. Jumbo prawns were biggest I've seen and cooked perfectly, could have used a veggie aside from just the cous cous. Tandoori celery root dish was very flavorful and just what I needed after so many nights of heavy eating. Wine list was VERY impressive, although priced similarly high as other places we visited on the island. We did find a nice half bottle that suited our meal perfectly and didn't break the bank. Vibe was energetic and chic. Paula our server was bright and fun adding to the already great experience.

Part of the Grace Bay Resorts group, Lua is one their newest restaurants, nestled in South Bank Resort on Long Bay. With their expertly executed elevated experience in a very sophisticated yet chill atmosphere, Lua’s culinary delights are worth the visit. We had dinner for two. You will pay a nice penny for this fine-dining experience, but it is worth it. Out of all of the premium locations I’ve visited, they had the best guest service experience. Our server was warm, as well as every staff member we met. They focused on steps of services and guest satisfaction. There’s also the option for handcrafted wood-fired pizzas, where you can actually sit in an open kitchen concept near the lagoon. It’s a beautiful experience at night. I look forward to having lunch here. On your visit to Turks and Caicos, PAY LUA A VISIT!

Wonderful experience from beginning to end! Gorgeous setting, and beautiful plating. The food was delicious from the brioche bread to start, to the chocolate souffle for dessert. Our waitress was especially wonderful. Friendly, helpful and just a delight! (I'm so sorry, I can't quite remember your name....I think it may have been Aleisha or something close to that? I really wanted to call you out specifically since you were so great!)

Visited Turks and Caicos from South Africa and stopped at the Lua for a lunch. The quality of the food, atmosphere and the kindness of the staff was top tier. We tried their freshly made pizza and it was so delicious we returned the very next day to get another. Cannot wait to come back !

Stopped by for drinks then lunch, excellent cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly efficient service in the bar area then moved over to the restaurant for lunch, good salmon bowl, but my burger was under seasoned, really good fries and the Coronas were cold! Like everywhere in Turks it takes a moment to get over the sticker shock!

LUA at SouthBank exceeded ALL our expectations! The food was outstanding and beautifully presented, with flavors to match. The entire staff went WAY out of their way to make our anniversary dinner so special. And waitress, Paula, was SO good. It really was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had in Provo. Don’t miss this amazing restaurant, situated on the beautiful SouthBank grounds. Be sure try the wood-fired lobster pizza, the Sobu Noodle Salad, the cod, and the branzino. And DO NOT miss the delish chocolate soufflé.😋 We’ll be going back the first chance we get!

Didn’t expect much upon the first look on the menu, but was pleasantly surprised with the food and especially the presentation. Looked beautiful and tasted really good too. I think this is one of the best restaurants in Turks.

Excellent food and excellent service. High end food. The red curry mussels and salmon bowl were our food choices and for dessert we had the shuffle and sorbet. Beautiful view of the marina. The staff was very focused on our experience. Highly recommend this place.

What a great and welcome addition to the upscale restaurant scene in Provo! What a beautiful space and vibe, the people are incredibly friendly and the food we had was delicious. My wife and I only had two dishes this time, but we will return soon to try more. The pepperoni pizza is one of the best on island. The sauce and toppings are super fresh and the crust was nice and thin and slightly crispy. The gazpacho was creamy and rich with just the right amount of vinegar to give it some sharpness. We sat at the bar and our server Ocelina, and actually everyone, made our meal experience even better. Go!

Lua and our server Paula provided absolutely fantastic service! Paula was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made our experience truly exceptional. Her professionalism and warm personality made all the difference. We’ll definitely be back thanks to her amazing hospitality! Cleveland the bartender came and check with us to ensure we are great and the drinks was good his drinks is absolutely on point. Thank you Lua

Lua was an excellent experience! 10/10 I recently had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant, and I must say, it was an all-around fantastic experience. The ambience struck the perfect balance between classy and cozy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef’s attention to detail and dedication to quality. Whether you’re a fan of hearty comfort food or more refined dishes, there’s something on the menu to satisfy every palate. The staff service specifically Stephanie was equally impressive. From the moment we walked in, the team was attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. Their professionalism and warmth added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. Overall, this restaurant is a true gem. With its delightful ambience, mouthwatering food, and outstanding service, it’s a place I’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended!

From the time we arrived, to include security at the main gate, our wonderful hostess Miss S., to our awesome waitress Ms. Paula, the experience and hospitality was ANAZING. The atmosphere was so pleasant and the food was delicious…. My birthday dinner in Turks was definitely a surprise and the staff here made it worth remembering!! Tionne from Maryland

Lua is absolutely a five star restaurant. The food is incredibly well prepared and while the service might be considered slow by some, it is extremely intentional. Each interaction feels like nothing is rushed and everything is worth the wait. We will be back.

We’ve spent almost three months in TCI, and had lunch or dinner at Lua nearly every day - that’s how much we love this place! I’m insulin resistant, so my diet needs to be wholegrain and carefully balanced. The team went above and beyond to accommodate me with special meals that were both healthy and absolutely delicious. The chef is truly fantastic, and the staff are some of the friendliest and most attentive people we’ve ever met. The food, atmosphere, and vibe are all amazing — Lua quickly became our favorite spot on the island. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year to see everyone again. Martina & Will

This place is very unique. We actually were not planning to go here at first. I had made reservations at another restaurant until a friend recently went here and told us we had to go. I cancelled the reservation I had and booked here. I took the chance and I am glad we did. The only negative is the location. It is in an area that isn't really built up yet, kind of in the middle of nowhere. They are building a large resort nearby. It is slowly being built up. Taxi was expensive to get here, mostly back roads but the experience made up for it. Pulling up, I didn't really know what this place was... a hotel, a sole restaurant? Its really neither. It is a place you can buy villas with the added benefit of having this beautiful restaurant. There really wasn't anybody there. Probably because of the location and being relatively new. Wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing. I did become a little skeptical at first. I just didn't know what to expect. We sat in the back, near the fire pit. Just a beautiful, relaxing setting. The beach area sits on a man made lagoon. It is interesting. I just pictured this place on the actual ocean, it would have been magical. Service was great. Not sure if that was due to the limited amount of guests. Food was shockingly PHENMOMENAL! So good! Not so much a kid friendly place. Definitely adult vibes whether you are with your significant other or group. If you are up for the journey to get here, I promise you will have a great night. My wife and I literally sat there for an extra hour and a half just enjoying the ambiance after dinner. It is that kind of place. We will be back. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely incredible meal at Lua at South Bank. The setting alone is breathtaking—dining right by the lagoon is so peaceful and elegant—but the real stars of the show were the food and the service. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The seafood was outstanding (truly some of the best we’ve had on the island), and you can tell the kitchen cares about quality ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for their wood-fired dishes or fresh Mediterranean-inspired plates, you can't go wrong. A huge shout-out to our server, Joseph, who made the meal unforgettable. He was attentive without being hovering, gave excellent recommendations from the menu, and had such a warm, welcoming energy. He genuinely seemed to care that we had a perfect experience, and he anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. He was quite funny as well! If you are in Turks and Caicos, this spot is a must-visit. Great vibes, delicious food, and world-class service. Thank you, Joseph, for looking after us so well—we will be back!

Delicious Pizza & Relaxing Vibes at Lua Restaurant” For our last evening at South Bank Marina & Resort, we decided to head over to Lua Restaurant—and it was the perfect way to end our stay! We ordered from their pizza menu, and honestly, it was probably the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Every bite was spot on! Our waitress was fantastic—great fun and full of energy, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with a relaxing and eye-pleasing atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. If you visit for lunch, you also get access to the beach area while you dine, which is a great little bonus. Overall, I’d definitely recommend checking out Lua if you’re in the area. Great food, great vibes, and a place worth returning to!

Exceptional food, great atmosphere. Service was good but maybe just a little busy the night we were there. It's remote relative to other venues on the island but worth the drive IMHO.

We went on friday night. Ambience was amazing near the lagoon with the lighting and sunset time. Had vegetarian options. Butternut Soup and the other appetizers were amazing! pizza was great but on the saltier side which muted flavors. Overall, I would recommend for food. Service could be improved. Its evident all staff isnt trained. We walked in to the check in person to get seated. I asked to be seated in the lagoon area because I have a kid. It seemed like the guy started walking there but then he came back weirdly… so we came back…then I had to ask again, where are we sitting? Its not like we can seat ourselves at a 5* restaurant?? We started ordering food… and then after 5 mins server give a kids menu. If I had known there was a kids menu, we would have ordered differently. Also , my kid was given a coloring paper… but no crayons. Hope the management reads this and improves!

I recently visited Lua for lunch with my family, and while the setting impressed, the dining experience had its highs and lows. From the moment we walked in, Lua’s ambiance set a strong first impression. The space exudes a beautiful, bohemian charm, with warm wooden accents and calming earth tones. It feels peaceful and luxurious—an inviting atmosphere perfect for a relaxed dining. The menu leans toward a healthy-lifestyle aesthetic, which aligns well with the vibe. Service was another highlight. We were warmly welcomed by Joan, who was vibrant, friendly, and made us feel instantly at home. Our server, Paula, continued that positive experience with a bright, warm smile and attentive service throughout our meal. Both Joan and Paula delivered excellent customer care—truly 10/10. Unfortunately, the lunch menu itself didn’t quite match the ambiance or service. Compared to a previous dinner experience at Lua, the midday offerings felt underwhelming. Portions were notably small and not fully composed, often requiring multiple items to feel satisfied. That said, what we did eat was well-seasoned and thoughtfully prepared. We tried the salmon and the teriyaki bowl. The teriyaki scored a solid 8/10—flavorful and satisfying. The salmon was even better at 8.5/10, thanks to its freshness and seasoning, but it could have really benefited from a heartier base—perhaps wild rice or roasted vegetables—to round out the dish and still maintain the healthy feel. The watermelon cocktail was light, refreshing, and enjoyable, though not extraordinary. I’d give it a 7/10. For dessert, we tried the churros and bread pudding. The churros were excellent—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and an easy 9/10. The bread pudding, however, was a miss. Made with a croissant as the base, it didn’t hold up well against the cream sauce. By the time we got to it, it had turned soggy—unfortunately reminiscent of corn flakes cereal that's sat too long in milk. That one was a 2/10 for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors though, especially the pistachio addition, and the lightness of the cream sauce. One final note: the number of menus was overwhelming. We were handed five—a specials menu, a new wing special menu, the main dining menu, a wine list, and cocktail menu. It made the ordering process unnecessarily complicated and somewhat confusing.Thankfully, Paula stepped in and supported with the selection process. Overall, I’d rate our lunch experience at Lua a 6/10. The atmosphere and service were top-tier, but the food, while flavorful, lacked substance and cohesion in the lunch offerings. With a few adjustments—especially to portioning and menu presentation—Lua could turn a good experience into a great one.
