This place is well organized. I have to give it to them when it’s real bad with snow and ice they were one of the few restaurants to be open it was busy. But they still were fast and keep the traffic rolling fantastic. Great good Sonic.

I think this is one of the fastest sonics I've been to every time I go there I wait no longer than 10 minutes and I just love and I just love 1 of the guys that delivers your food they're name Matt hes always friendly hes always in a good mood and he brightens my day I love this sonic I make a point of driving to this 1 even though it's not as close as 1 in my town...

I like this one. It's not often that I'll give a Sonic's a good review. This particular morning I had a breakfast burrito and some hash browns. Maybe it's because I was there at the right time, but unlike other Sonic's, their hash browns didn't have that odd after taste usually signifying old/overused oil, and the burrito wasn't half folded wrap. It was filled through and good as always. The service was prompt and the food was good.

did you know that you can buy ice at Sonic? I did not until my ice maker broke and I was forced to buy ice for a party.I don't know how they treat the water used to make the ice but the ice has a crisp, mineral flavor. And it's very soft if that makes sense. I recommend the ice!

Excellent customer service. It shows that management puts effort into hiring competent employees with customer service skills. Food is the same as other Sonic's but I prefer to come here because of the customer experience. They also help do fundraising for local groups which is great to see them involved in the community.

Food is good. My go to favorite is the #3 Bacon Double Cheeseburger. The fries were very well salted and fresh. Only thing is the slush machine wasn't ready during my visit. Hopefully it gets back running soon.

Today the service was top notch! Fresh hot food, Usually good food and good service here but somebody went over the top today. I always order a route 44 cherry ocean water. Usually the cherry is in the bottom, sometimes they forget it. But today it clipped into the straw prong. Just a perfect touch. Thanks for doing it the way you did, a bit of class in that.

Pulled up to one of the terminals and order a peach mango slush after craving something sweet. Had a cheat day in the middle of the week and it was so good. I was pleased that it did not take long to get my drink and the young lady that brought the slush out was polite and professional. I would stop here again in the future or recommend you stop for a peach mango slush.

This one in Red Oak give me an apology and a big smile versus the one in Fort Worth which didn't realize it took over 20 minutes get my food up. If you had taken 5 minutes to get my food out you would have had five stars.

I always like the Red Oak Sonic! They do a great job, their food is typical for Sonic they need more cheap food items however but everytime I have gine there they had a great, respectful and courteous way that they treated us! Lots of choices now days for my eating out money and although I like Sonic very much possibly over Mc Donds place I have now put the Red Oak Burger King as my over all favorite place! There menus and prices fit our situation the best and I like their food 98% of the time they get my order right! They also are fast and very nice most of the times too! They even have offered to replace mu food when they got my order wrong and were very nice with no confusion! I like them! So Sonic, Red Oak Burger King is my current fast food standard!

This Sonic was wonderful. Especially after yesterday's poor experience in Fort Worth. I waited only 10 minutes for my order, got an apology from the waitress and had no difficulties with the food. They even included both marinara and ranch dressing without my asking for it. The only thing missing was the mint. They even put the napkin on top where I could reach it. Yesterday, it was on the bottom and somewhat grease smothered. Are you listening Fort Worth? You could learn from Red Oak!

I went for lunch something I rarely do. Ordered a number 2 no tomatoes or onions with a medium sonic blast. The server was nice so I tipped her. Drove home to only be mad at my food. The burger was distasteful and my sonic blast tasted like it was made with spoiled milk. The only good thing that came out of it was the tots. The tots were good. Too bad the rest of it wasn't

The staff here are so helpful and pleasant. Each time I’ve been by I’ve had some great service. The ladies working the front are very welcoming and the gentlemen in the back are just as helpful. I frequent this store mainly to get drinks, so I can’t really give more stars for food. The inside is always clean.

Stop at sonic today april 11th at 5:30 purchase a cup of ice cream total was like 6 something when the woman brought it out I handed her a $20.00 she ask me if I wanted my change back ? I always tip but not a $13.00 tip on a cup of ice cream, since when did the car hops start asking customers for there change 🤔 iv been here several time because I live in the town and no one has ever ask me for money before, I just find it strange she would ask me for my change

Slow service at the Red Oak Sonic. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, not super busy. It took probably 20 minutes to get our order taken, and then for our food, two drinks and one large popcorn chicken, to be brought out to us. Sho7od not take that long for a small order. Carhop was friendly, and I appreciate the happy hour discounts. Husband's peach tea, my blue raspberry slush, and the popcorn chicken tasted good when they finally arrived.

This Sonic runs out of inventory to make and serve items more than any fast food place I’ve ever seen and I’ve worked plenty of Fast Food places. They are constantly out of certain ingredients and cup carriers… it’s like they’re caught off guard when they do business

Don't use the order thing at the end of the building. Used it twice in the last few months and never got the stuff I ordered. Sat there for a good few minutes before leaving. Thankfully I never used my card, so no loss there. I almost feel like something is wrong with it because the usual thing that is on the other ones after ordering at the bottom went away after a bit too, and went to the usual screen it has. I'm not mad, just a bit disappointed.

I go by and get their Rt 44 sweet tea w/ fresh lemon slices, during "Happy Hour" (2-5 pm, 1/2 price off, on selected drinks and slushes!..and .99 cent corny dogs!) and have noticed lately, the tea taste like sugar water, not TEA! Yuck!.. I ended up throwing it out.. so we picked up another Rt 44, at our other Sonic, and Yuck, same thing! This has happened a few times, lately.. I love their tea, which is a "Texas" good thing, since we love our sweet Tea!☺.. I am wondering if corporate is changing their tea recipe(how they make it), or the local store have taken it upon themselves to water the tea down, to save a few bucks? .. Anyway, i went by, and it wasn't happy hour, and i rcvd my usual excellent sweet tea, that i stop there, specifically for!☺🌻

How difficult is it to get a drink order correct. The drink was ordered from the online app so there was no misunderstanding what was ordered. This was not the first time. The service was very friendly but getting the order was slow. 15 minutes for one drink I consider to be slow.

Went here for some chili( seen the commercial thought i would try it) and was so disappointed. Its a small small cup of chilli for almost $3. You can go to Wendy's and get the same chili in a bigger cup for the same price and they give u crackers. But i love they burgers tho.

Horrible service. They have yet to get an order right. The manager actually asked me if my mom had a name. He continually called me "Madame" after i asked him not to, I do not own a house of prostitution nor am I French. He was rude and incapable of listening without interrupting. He didn't get the full information about the order, i honestly don't believe he cared. Stay far away from this place.

About a week ago, my card info was used without my consent. Had to file a complaint with bank and get a new card. Last time I used my card there was 10/5, on 10/24 there was 3 different charges at the exact same time for here. Be careful here.

THE SONIC IN RED OAK TEXAS IS AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE SCALE. FULL OF EXCUSES WHY YOUR ORDER IS NOT TIMELY OR CORRECT. 4 out of the last 4 visits where not acceptable. 20-35 minutes for burger and fries. I work at the aircraft company next door. And many people complain about this location. This is my last visit. Rather have Whataburger for this long wait and quality.

Honestly if you were going to go to the red oak Sonic, most of the time you should expect to get your order corrected in some way. Please please please always request fresh food! They try to be quick however they do not hesitate give you old food. The Sonic on hwy 77 is a million times faster with better service and fresh food.

Not pleased at all. I can't understand how and why some people in these eateries today will serve you food that they wouldn't eat. I couldn't do it. I've learned it's not the place it's the workers that deserves the bad rating... food was old, looked like it was cooked more than once. And they bring it to the car like it's hot fresh and delicious. NOT....

Ordered a large unsweetened tea with LITTLE ice, got EXTRA ice. A mini blast, had to go back for it and they shorted me about 4 oz of what is normal. Had to go back to the register for my change even though I pushed paying with cash. Not wasting my time stopping here again. There are too many restaurants in the area to choose from.

Whoever made my Reese’s Sonic Blast Thursday night 11/2/22 around 9pm…baby you the GOAT!!! That was one of the best Sonic Blasts I’ve EVER had at this location. The rest of my order was on point too. Thanks!! Update: They were doing good in 2022. It’s 2024, and I’m convinced the Gen Zers that work here refuse to read. Now every time I order, something is wrong. I order through the app 100% of the time and come to a stall to pick it up. It never fails that something is wrong and I’m not even getting anything that’s super customized. I just want mustard instead of ketchup and mayo on my burger. But when I get home I see my burger is SLATHERED in ketchup and mayo. No mustard. I want marinara sauce with my mozzarella sticks but I feel like I have to beg for sauce because it’s never included with my order. Gosh just read and follow instructions!!! It’s not hard!!! Let’s start reading and paying attention to details again!

Food is always pretty good and normally service us too. I usually always pay with credit card. My last visit I only ordered a slush, and paid with cash. The attendant brought me my drink, but tried to keep my change. When I let him know I was owed more change, he brought only half of it and quickly took off...lol. I just let it be because I figured he needed it more than me. Next time I will pay with my credit card....

Food heavy salt last two visits! Old trick with over salting to sell large drinks. Prices up food quality down😫 Next visit ordered breakfast burrito & coffee. Burrito was smaller than usual & coffee so old it could be used as paint thinner! This store should display a POOR FOOD sign😩

This place is terrible. Took forever to get food and it was all cold. Had to wait at least another 10 minutes to get change. Not first time to have problems. Have paid extra for bacon on a sandwich and didn’t get any. Last time I will go there

I’m not sure what the hiring requirements are but they must be very low. My order is wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. Not to mention when I sent my order back, they took my money and did not give me back my change. This sonic is awful.

Unless you are desperate for Sonic food, and don't mind sending your order back to be made properly, DON'T STOP AT THE ENNIS TX SONIC. We've lived in Ennis for 7 years. We frequented this Sonic at first then only occasionally because our order ALWAYS had mistakes. We began to joke about it, and plan on spending 30 min for our "fast food". We've lost our since of humor, towards this, and won't be returning. The days of earning the repeat business of your locals is over. Now it seems we must settle for whatever is given to us because the generation operating these businesses aren't listening and just don't care. Let's get some adults on the speaker and putting these orders together. I miss my breakfast burrito w/ BACON not sausage. I don't have time to wait for them to repair this each time I tried.

For most normally I don’t ever post reviews. But this was a very poorly experience and I don’t want anybody going through this again. But if I could I would even put a start. We pressed the Order button and waited 15 mins till that answer and we had 3 ppl ordering when we went to prefer one of our ppl said their order and they cut us off then we tried pushing e button again and we waited for another 15 minutes we finally got our food after we fuss which we don’t ever do. But yea, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SONIC AT ALL!

Every time we order food from this sonic location the food is always wrong. Today I ordered some mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce and got no marinara. Once we got chili cheese tater tots and there was no chili on it! The popcorn chicken is overcooked, there’s more bread/crust and it’s so hard that it seems like There’s no chicken inside. I’m not going back to this sonic anymore even though it’s 1 minute from me. I’ll just go to waxahachie. It’s a shame I have to do that.

15 mins for 1 sandwich, makes on sense....👎🏾(2years ago) 10/15/21 update. Still the slowest Sonic in the world, Waited another 15mins for a cherry limeade, hit button twice, told me they be right out. Watch every other car that pulled up after me get orders first, had to just pull off. I'm really getting tire of this place. Waste of time, will have u late for work or anywhere u are trying to go.

Worst sonic of all I must say!! The employees always act like new. No costumer service. Always very slow. & Don't get the orders correctly. I have been living in Red Oak for just 8 months and eveytime I go is always the same story since the very first time. Looks like nothing has been done because is pretty much all about bad reviews.

Update 7/2022: that's it, I will not be eating food from this location. There was a long hair in my chili cheesy coney and what chili? I needed a magnifying glass to see the chili. So disappointed ☹️ This used to be my favorite place. Update June 2022: just don't know what is going on at Sonic. They can't get my order right or they serve me cold food. I'm so sad because I am a regular customer and I tip every time. Hope it improves! It used to be great!

Spent 10.00 Mekala took my order she was rude. They brought my meal the fries were cold asked Mason if they had hot fries he said sure brought me Fresh Cold fries. Asked for onions on my coney dog. No onions. Just a bad experience all around went home after a 12 hour shift and fixed a sandwich. The oreo blast was good.

I visited this location and was dissatisfied. ordered Car hop.. when I got home, there was no lettuce or tomato on the burger and it was burnt and dry. I was also charged full price for a shake which should've been half price for happy hour. If you go to this location be sure to check your order before driving off!

Just so y’all know... yalls ice cream machine has some sort of grit in it (that’s the best I can describe) at first I thought it was ice crystals but when it wouldn’t melt and I hat to rinse my mouth out with water get it out of my mouth. Hopefully a good cleaning will correct the issue. For reference I ordered an M&M blast... no the M&M’s were not broken up in it to cause the grit.

I have tried this location several times since moving to Red Oak and they ALWAYS mess up my order. They are slow with service but that could be under staffed (not sure) but my order is never correct. I hate when I don't check my order before I leave or a family member don't. I've never regretted ordering food somewhere so much.

I stopped by today around 4pm and the food was terrible I ordered the grilled cheese burger the bread was not toasted at all and had a ton of mustard and the tator tots were cooked to long they were hard and not edible very dark in color. Money wasted. Who ever is in charge is not doing a good job it falls on management. They really don't deserve one star but it was the only way to leave a review.😡👎

My 8 year old daughter wanted a bursting bubble drink so I took her to the Ovila rd Sonic, Red Oak. It took them about 20 minutes to get her drink and a milk shake out. I would have probably waited there longer if I had not stop a young man to ask about my order. Got my order and check the drink with bursting bubbles to see it they had add the bubble in the drink and to my surprise it has no bubbles . I called and they said they would replace the drink and a waited for 15 more minutes for ONE drink !! I had to get a young lady attention this time to ask AGAIN about the drink and she brought it out right away. I feel bad for the young lady because I was complaining very upset about how long I had been waiting and how Frustrating it is to waste your time to get two drinks. I know it’s not her fault but I was frustrated!! That was about 40 minutes for 2 drinks that is Seriously ridiculous!!!! I’m very upset for my loss time!! Never will I return to this sonic !!!

Ordered a cherry limeade and I was given a cup of red liquid no ice no cherries or limes. What happen to sonic ice???? I love ice 😔. I could handled it better but who gives someone a route 44 like that. Unprofessional and awful everytime

I went there today 8/13 a little after 6? 6:30? I sat at #13 and pressed the button twice. No one responded to get my order. I sat there about ten minutes or so and two other cars came after me, and were attended to immediately upon pressing their buttons.

I will never come to this location again. Waited 20 minutes for my food. I didn’t receive all of my order and they asked me to check the bag as if I did not do that. Then had to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of my food. My entire order should have been remade now the first order brought out is cold. Makes zero sense

I knew when I heard the girls voice my order would be wrong. Explained it 3 times, twice while ordering and at window after she read it back wrong. Sat there 20 minutes, order wrong still. Had to ask for receipt after my food because I could look at the bag and tell the order was wrong. Noone answers the phone to deal with issues.

In the last year I've been to this location about 4 times and every time i am reminded why i no longer come here. This Sonic needs some serious retraining or an entirely new staff

They are notorious for messing up your order. Every time that I have gone. They messed up a fresh fruit slush! I sent it back because the lemon that they used was bad and you could taste it. They brought the wrong corrected drink out... upon telling them that it was still wrong... they had the nerve to bring the first one back and only added more slush mix. I must say that the tots were fresh and the popcorn chicken was ok... So outdone

They take forever to bring out your order and most of the time, they don’t get the orders right. Tell me.. how hard is it to get a simple drink order right? Or a shake? I ordered a strawberry cheesecake shake with banana. Not only was I kept waiting for 15 minutes, when I get the shake, it’s melted. No strawberry. No cheesecake. No banana. I do not have the energy to keep telling them to correct my order every single time

This location is terrible every time. The latest stop, we ordered a Kids cheeseburger, plain and dry, tater tots and cherry sprite with extra cherries. We ended up with a kids hamburger, no cheese, with ketchup pickles and mustard. Tater tots were cold and no cherries in the sprite. I don’t understand how you can get an order so wrong. Every other time we’ve gone it’s takes 30 minutes to get your food/drinks. Won’t be going to this location anymore.

Improper training. This restaurant has too many bad reviews. It's very important to look at reviews. I feel cheated i couldn't eat this. Im not turning around in traffic to return this, why should i have to waste my precious time with people who clearly don't have any care about health standards and making good food..So no need to, get on here and apologize again "mr sonic." You've already done that 1k times. I don't need or want, your im sorry. BUT!! I will need a full refund!!!. If not I plan on disputing it with my bank. I did not eat this.. it went in the garbage where it belongs. I worked at sonic for 2 years, so I know the process back and forward. Always shake the oil off the 🍟 after they come up.. if not you'll see all the grease on your fingers like my, cold tots on this picture. If you don't clean the grill, after burgers it will be greasy also.. see all the residue stains from the inside of the burger container. That's a trip to the bathroom with stomach pains before you arrive at home.. I noticed the parking lot clear, and im still sitting in the car.. where's my order? The young lady came out and said sorry your order was lost!!! Lol... lost? 🤔 how's that possible i have years of experience at sonic that's not possible. I don't know what yall got going but I will stay clear of you guys location. I will not ever ever, even turn on the same street as that sonic... Yall don't have a clue of how to run a restaurant. PS THAT BURGER HAD NO SAUCE. NONE!

I was served a grilled cheese sandwich with MOLD, which was ultimately ingested. It's been well over a month and they simply do not care. So beware & be sure to thoroughly inspect your and the kids food because they obviously don't whike preparing it. The response I got from whoever answered the phone was "Wow! That's never happened before." I've since reached out to corporate and made a complaint with the Health Department since management/owner at this location has failed to be in touch regarding this matter.

We have come here several times and every time we come we sit for over 30 minutes for our order when we only order 1-3 items. Tonight we went and ordered a shake, a sundae, and a sonic blast. We waited over an hour for our order and couldn’t leave because we had already paid. I pressed the red button again to ask for a refund or to see when our order would be ready, they told us they’d be with us in a minute, and said it with a tone in her voice that seemed she really didn’t care. We then waited another 20 minutes until it actually came out. When it did it was melted and our order was wrong. We left with our order because at this point it was already 9:15 and we had to get home. I then called them and asked for a manger, the man on the phone said, “ok you’re talking to one”, with a bad attitude. I had told him what had happened with the order and how long we had waited, he responded with “ok.” And it went silent. He didn’t say sorry for the inconvenience or anything just said “ok…” with a bad attitude. I would 100% not recommend this Sonic to anyone! And we definitely will be taking our business elsewhere.

Online order made 4/4 burgers ordered wrong. They remade the order and made them wrong again try 3 they got 2/4 finally correct. Red Oak Sonic is terrible won't go back.

I ordered online and didn’t mind waiting. Although when I got my food the server was rude and had an ugly attitude. Definitely doesn’t need to work in service industry with bad service. I also was halfway through my burger when I found a long blonde hair in my food. And this was after they mixed our food up with another car. No apologies no kindness only anger and ugliness. Were for sure not coming back here

Worst Sonic I have ever been to! Messed up my order. Charged twice for my order. Asked for salsa and ketchup and did not even get that. The lady on the speaker taking my order sounded like she just didn’t want to be there which is OK but go find a new job!

Me and my husband stopped by sonic today 09/22/24 around 4pm I have never had a problem with Sonic’s before today, today the lady taking our order messed it up I asked for a Diet Coke with my meal and she gave me a red slush and also messed up my burger that was supposed to be plain she added bacon even though I didn’t ask for it, which I could have looked past I alerted her when she brought us our food and drinks that was drink was supposed to be coke and my burger was supposed to be plain to which she said yeah it has cheese and I was like yes but I didn’t want bacon and she gave me such a bad attitude and was like welll then after staring at me and making me feel bad for asking for my original order said she could have them replace the drink she brought out for my Coke I said no cause I didn’t want to deal with her attitude and knew she was mad. This all could have been looked past except that when I got home after eating I felt extremely sick from the food and drink and had to lay down for awhile cause I felt like I was going to throw up. Needless to say I won’t be back to this sonic for awhile

Nice people from what I can tell, but management doesn't care enough about the customers to fix their ice machine and sell a cup in the hot summers. This has gone on for years. I encourage everyone to DROP A STAR on their ratings here until this location stops making excuses and starts consistently serving the paying public. Together we can, y'all.

In all my years visiting this location I've had a few bumps in the road. Whether my food was incorrect or even the worse, my banana split a melting mess because it took so long to get it. But regardless it's been and up and down experience here. But this evening, well needless to say I was very frustrated. I use the Sonic app when I place my order, I've been using that app since it came out. My order this evening was very simple, a large Coke. I pulled up and entered the stall number I parked at and sat and waited for my drink. While waiting cars pulled up and got their orders and left. I began getting frustrated, all I had was a simple drink. But others pulled up and ordered food and within a few minutes their food was delivered. But I still sat there waiting for my simple drink. After a while one of the girls there, a carhop I've known for a while and who knows me, came up to my car and asked if I've already gotten my drink. I said no and she said she'd go check on it. A few minutes later a young man, carhop, came out and gave me my drink. No apology for taking so long, just about 15 minutes waiting, and not even a thank you. He didn't say a word. He handed me my drink and my straw and walked away. I was dumbfounded. I hadn't complained or pushed the button to ask where my drink was at. I just sat there patently waiting. Actually wondering how long it was going to take. But yeah, he didn't say a word. But the other lady, who checked on me, came out and apologized for the wait. I didn't say a word and just smiled. When I was a teenager I worked at my local Sonic. The first thing that always went out the door was drinks. Just as soon as you ordered it we were out the door with it. But this evening it took just about 15 minutes to get a simple drink. And I watched the employees going in and out taking orders to stalls, so there were plenty of employees working. So my question, that I can't help but think, is that if you don't include a tip on your mobile order do the employees push that order back and make the customer wait longer? I get tips are a very important thing in the service industry and believe me I go far and beyond when it comes to tipping, well past 20%. So I get it. But for Sonic I carry cash with me. So if my order comes out quickly then I hand the carhop cash. Or if I know who's working, or see that person(s) working, I include my tip on the app. But this evening, just wow. The unprofessional way this young man delivered my drink was astonishing to me. Not a word. Very sad. But I was grateful that the other young lady came back out to apologize. So now, well I may just go to another business to get my drinks or food items.
