We sat by the fireplace and it was warm, cozy with food and drinks served within reasonable time. The food is flavorful and bold. We tried a few items and are eager to try more. Great experience for our 1st visit. The staff was accommodating and our waitress, incredibly kind. As we left we were welcomed back by staff. Over all experience for a lunch date was perfect.

Very pleasant place to come and enjoy some drinks. It’s connected to the Sheraton Hotel, so you can drink as much as you’d like and still stay safe. The food was tasty. We ordered the Brazilian pizza — it was very flavorful and good, but quite thin. Don’t expect it to fully satisfy your hunger; it works better as an appetizer. I would definitely recommend the sprouts — they were absolutely amazing! The service was excellent. We were seated outside, and the waitress was always checking on us. Congratulations to the team for such amazing service!

I had an incredible dinner at Mosaic and can confidently say this place deserves all five stars. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding, warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The staff made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout the entire evening. The appetizers were a standout on their own. The Brussels sprouts were perfectly crispy and flavorful, the Red Curry Tomato Soup was so good that I ended up ordering it twice, and the shishito peppers were fresh, vibrant, and packed with just the right amount of heat. Every starter set the tone for an amazing meal. For the main courses, I ordered the Shrimp Pappardelle and the BGP pizza, and both dishes blew me away. The pasta was rich, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor, and the pizza was surprisingly fantastic. As a New Yorker, I have high standards for pizza, and this one absolutely held its own with great crust, balanced toppings, and bold flavors. We also tried a variety of cocktails, each one unique, beautifully presented, and delicious. It is clear the bar program puts real care into crafting creative and high quality drinks. The menu offered a wide range of options, and every plate that came out, from our table and around the room, looked amazing. You can tell this restaurant values quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. Overall, Mosaic delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish. Great food, great drinks, great people. I will absolutely be returning and recommending it to anyone looking for an elevated and memorable meal.

Incredible! I stayed at the adjoining Sheraton Hotel, but in no way would I refer to Mosaic as a "hotel restaurant." This location could function completely stand alone and still stand out! All my meals here were not out of necessity but out of preference :) The seating was always ample, no matter the time, and the service always friendly, accommodating, and punctual, no matter the customer presence! I really liked how they kept the menu simple, and discovered why when I took my first bite, QUALITY. There was something on the menu for everyone, even if a morning (or evening) beverage is all you want. I would easily eat here again, regardless of staying at the Sheraton, and recommend you to as well! There is a great little patio where you can be served and eat, AND the Sun Dial bridge is less than a minute stroll for some steps after a good meal! Thank you :)

Valentines day weekend date to the exploration museum and we ended up here for lunch. Nice atmosphere and the food was awesome. Tomato had a little spice and the brussel sprouts had layers of flavors.

Walking distance to the sundial bridge. Friendly staff on a busy evening. The Mexican corn soup was delicious. The blue berry drinks were refreshing on a hot day. The steak was tasty. Wings were a bit soggy but tasted great. Overall a solid spot for dinner.

The food was really good. Salmon cakes were well cooked and delicious, the sauce with the cakes was great. Burger was cooked to perfection as well. It took a bit of time to arrive though. Service was great, didn't hurry us(I was eating pretty slow) and got the check when we said we were ready.

Had a fantastic brunch / lunch stop on our way home from California back to Vancouver. Our server Kobe was very helpful and attentive to our fur kids even in 45 degree weather. Made sure they had water and ours was also full. Definitely recommend the marg flights so good and each one was different. great spot to stop the dogs loved the dog menu.

Alex, our server, was so good. Shocked our table of 8 by taking our orders without writing anything down, and everything was perfect. Every brunch dish was great from the stuffed strawberry French toast, omelettes, avocado toast with added egg, fanciest avo toast I’ve ever seen, to the salmon Benedict, which was amazing. The coffee was even great, not the typical restaurant tasting brew, and I’m a bit of a coffee snob. Highly recommend, and ask to be in the section with Alex.

Highly recommended to those who finish a nice walk at the Turtle Bay park and trails, and want to reward yourselves for a good, relax, and fun exercise along the beautiful river bank. We first ordered the House Sangria and Pear'd Up cocktails, they tasted really good. we then ordered the Ribeye Carpaccio, Miso Steak Salad and 1,000 Peaks pizza, they are all very delicious, we finished them all. Overall, the food and drink quality is good, the portion and size are just right for 3 people. The price, however, isn't that friendly. But you pay for the food quality and the location, I guess.

First time visitors to Mosaic Restaurant. We stopped in for breakfast on a Monday morning. When we walked in, there was only one other customer in the restaurant. We were seated and our server was prompt with our drink choices. I enjoyed the theme of the restaurant. It felt comfortable and modern, with just the right touch of warmth. Breakfast was good. Prices were probably average or a bit above average, for these times. I gave it five stars for the ambiance and service. There is patio dining available for those who wish. We would like to return for a dinner visit. As a special occasion type dinner.

I have to write review because I believe this restaurant should score higher. We chose the nearest restaurant from our hotel and it’s surprisingly good! We started with wild mushroom soup and it’s delicious, creative and HUGE. The miso steak salad is good too! Never had anything like it before. Last but certainly not least, the star of the show, CHICKEN. Never have I ever loved any chicken breast in any restaurant, but this one is different. Chicken is tender and flavorful. The creamy smashed potatoes def make it extra scrumptious. The mushroom and spinach are also well blended together in a single dish. Also it’s a good place for date night because I can see a lot of couples are already doing so. Try it out! Also if you live in sheraton, they also deliver mosaic breakfast to door with reasonable price. We’ve ordered that for next morning and are looking forward to it!

Quick Summary Pleasantly surprised by how great the Sheraton restaurant was. Excellent food and service. Great location nearby the Sundial Bridge (they have a back patio but it's still about 5 minute walk to the Sundial Bridge; go to Branch House if you want a direct view of the Sundial Bridge while enjoying your meal). Lots of parking, but a hit or miss if you get a close spot Food- 5 stars Octopus panzanella- the octopus was cooked perfectly and it was pretty good. A bit on the saucy side miso steak salad- cooked perfectly and plenty of flavor. Really enjoyed this salad Harvest pasta- well balanced and absolutely delicious Olive oil cake- pretty good and a very large serving as well Service- 5 stars Excellent service throughout Bottom Line Excellent restaurant, especially if you're staying at the Sheraton (given the location). Guaranteed a great meal, service, and ambiance.

Wow! What an amazing dining experience. We seriously ordered almost everything on the menu over the two nights we stayed and dined at the Sheraton and Mosaic. The scallops were perfectly cooked, The Miso Steak Salad was wonderfully light and filling. My wife ordered the Mosaic Burger with a grilled portobello and it was a taste sensation. The Kids pizza is HUGE! we have two kids and I would recommend one pizza for two kids. Active Family Magazine thanks you Mosaic Restaurant

Friendly Staff, delicious food and drinks. I had the salmon and our table shared a charcuterie board. The Love & Mezcal had a smoky flavor and was the perfect pour. The ambiance was very nice and love the design. Perfect for dates or group gatherings. I'm a local and will be back!

Mosaic is a quality environment with beautiful natural views and direct access to the Sundial Bridge, River Trail, Little Animal Zoo, and kid play areas. It’s a true piece of American class and elegance—complete with a cozy fireplace, a wide selection of IPA craft beers, top-shelf liquors, and an amazing staff that truly cares. A special shout-out to Victoria, the Food and Beverage Supervisor, whose professionalism and warmth made the experience even more memorable. This place is doing an outstanding job—excellent service, high-quality food, and an inviting atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and visit today. You’ll be glad you did. Who is the best bartender in Redding? His name is Michael Schooner!!

Yum!! We stopped for lunch while visiting the Turtle Bay Exploration Park and it was all delicious. I highly recommend the Miso Steak Salad, medium rare. The combination of flavors is an explosion, and it’s incredible!! My husband got the waygu burger with an egg, cooked to perfection. Our son got the chicken tenders which were great. Their fries are delicious and so flavorful! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this hidden gem! It took a bit to get our food, but the service was lovely, and the atmosphere is very nice and refreshing. We sat in the back which they keep dimly lit, air conditioning. Great escape from the 105 humid heat! Next time I want to try their pulled pork sandwich.

Incredible dining experience from valet to dessert. We have absolutely no complaints. Gnocchi was one of our choices, flavor burst our taste buds. Drinks, pizza, dessert fantastic. Rocco our waiter was outstanding, saw to our every need. Definitely will be back.

Wow. No offense, but why is this place *here*? Driving from the SF Bay Area to Oregon and stopped here for a charge for the car. Amazing. Great service (ask for Wendy). Yummy food. Strongly recommended. We got the tomato salad (small but yummy) and a couple of pizzas. The smores dessert is wildly delicious- and somehow vegan? Definitely adding this to our list and will be back whenever possible.

Today I was an honorary guest cook on the chef's line @ Mosaic Restaurant! I can say that it was a very professional experience, and a clean atmosphere. Second time I've visited here, and this visit was from the inside. The kitchen staff, and serving staff is/are a fantastic group, and the food is very very good quality. In discussions from the back of the house, a few of the recommendations are: *The burger, yes the burger, it's impressive, I'm anxious to try it at a later time. *The pasta Carbonara, chef's recommendation, "I could eat this every day!" * And myself today I ordered the Duck, which was fantastically presented, as well as excellent in flavor. Even as a to go plate 🍽️. I don't generally write long winded reviews, but having worked in this kitchen today, I could not help but write it out. Thanks to the Mosaic crew for welcoming me into the kitchen, and thank you for the training and meal. Check this restaurant out it is high caliber, and high quality. 🦚

I absolutely love the food, the service and the atmosphere of this place. A bit more on the expensive side, but every time for me it has been worth it every penny. Get their Brussels sprouts appetizer, it’s divine. Their pizzas never disappoint, burgers are delicious too.

All around great venue! Fast friendly and attentive staff. The food was so yummy. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and it comes covered in crispy and melty slices of sharp cheddar. The pancakes were perfect too. It’s the perfect place to stop for breakfast before seeing the Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay. It’s open early so perfect for folks who want to get a jumpstart on the day.

Actually really good! The atmosphere is lovely especially in the outdoor patio, our waiter was extra nice. Pizza was great, down to the crust. Salad was mega delicious, and the drink I had was super yummy. If I’m ever in Redding again I would defs come back.

My friend and I have both been having a lot of struggles in our personal lives and needed a day off, so we decided to take a vacation day on a random Thursday and go to the Sundial Bridge so I could see what all the hype was about. Once we were there we decided that we absolutely deserve a nice lunch and a drink so decided to go to Mosaic and it was *so* incredibly worth it. We sat at the bar, and I'll be fully transparent here, it was a bad day for them. It seemed like they were short staffed, with all their FOH people looking like they were running around covering for at least one person who wasn't there, and their system kept going offline to boot. When I tell you that we had the best lunch, the most amazing drinks, and such a good time, I will go back on any day, including the days when it should have been miserable. Every single staff member was kind, but the bartender who was serving us was the best. He was apologetic when he felt he was behind, even though we never felt like we were being ignored or that anything was moving slowly. We were able to enjoy our food (we split the ceaser salad, and a french dip) when we asked him to make us a drink, based off color, liquor type and "sweet" he not only did so but made us probably the best drink I've ever tasted. The food was top tier, but beyond that we were able to sit there and talk about death and tear up, then switch to laughing over something ridiculous and still felt welcome to be there taking up space at their bar. I wish I lived closer I would go back regularly because the staff that was was so great. I cannot for the life of me remember our bartenders name, but it was Thursday July 24 so if management sees this please give that guy a raise, or at the very least some praise. He handled two frazzled women with grace, and when other customers were being unkind he never faltered and stayed professional across the board. 13/10 on all fronts, we will absolutely be coming back and hopefully soon.

Taylor was absolutely amazing!! Sat down at the bar and she greeted me with a smile and just an inviting tone. I she recommended a drink for me and it was delicious. I also let her pick the pizza I got and it was so delicious!!!! I then challenged her to make me a drink using Rum, and it she not disappoint at all! Loved the time here!! Taylor was so great! If you are in Redding, make it a plan to visit this place. Food is out of this world. I recommend the 1,000 peaks pizza. Outdoor seating is available. The parking is rough because people are parking there for the sundail bridge. But its worth it to eat at mosaic

L
LoLo

Taylor, the bartender was absolutely brilliant! Not only did she create a cocktail around what I was wanting, I watched her with others and she is just wonderful! ….. And I’m a hard sell! I hope you know what a gem you have in her and give her one heck of a raise because she could be doing this in the best of places! Thank you again Taylor for a great experience. We could choose to go anywhere and stay, but we chose to come here again predominantly because of her.

I have been to Mosaic 4-5 times and the last 3 times have been great but this last visit was spectacular. It started with quick seating outdoors under trees and shade. Comfortable scenery and open to well behaved doggies. We went during happy hour so they had some amazing deals going on. Our waiter approached our table and quickly I thought is he old enough to work here? Well YES HE WAS! Do not question this server ability to take care of a customer. I asked him about the happy hour drinks and he was able to recommend and provide his personal input on the lemon drop. So glad I wet my whistle with this one. It was sweet but just the right amount and then the citrus le On hits your pallet and sings. I was a bit toasty after half a glass. So delicious and happy hour menu item. Then comes the snacky snacks! Fried pickles! Probably hands down the best, freshest and crunchiest pickles I have had. Spot on! Next the delicious wood fired 1000 peaks pizza. If you like pineapple on pizza this is a must try. JP checked and interacted with us the perfect amount of time, accommodated us and did not forget a single detail. Definitely will be back. Quality food and great drinks, upscale without out a hefty price tag. Go now!

Conveniently located next door to Redding Sheridan hotel, this is a casual suburban restaurant with pleasant decor and large screens in the bar area. Comfortable seating in a number of areas inside and out, and a nice busy buzz that allows for pleasant conversation. My husband ordered Redwood IPA and a burger he scored 7 out of his all time favorite 10. He reported it delicious and plentiful but wished for a few slices of bacon and more cheese. His heart is grateful for what he was served- ha! I enjoyed the beet salad with a grilled chicken tender. The fresh crisp greens were undressed which makes them less tasty. The blended beet dressing swirled into the bowl was dull. Dining room staff people were fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. Clearly they are making an effort to provide a good experience for diners.

Ate breakfast on a weekday about 8:00. Not real busy. Had to wait to be seated because the “ host” was going on a break. Sat on the patio. After several minutes I had to go in and ask for someone to come and take our order. Waitress came out after a few minutes, still to long wait for her to bring water and even longer for drinks to arrive. Finally our breakfast arrived. We ordered from the “sides” on the menu and we were surprised at the amount of food. Very good, warm, filling. I couldn’t finish all mine. I learned to ask for bill when our food arrived because we had an appointment. Would go back even though service was very slow.

I recommend the food, the portions are a bit small for the price but the food is tasty. I got the blackberry smash and beet salad with chicken.

A fine restaurant attached to the Sheraton. Food is good and we enjoyed sitting outside. They offer several game options if you are interested in that. I tried the meatloaf which was tasty.

C
Classic Girl

This was a great spot to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was amazing. The ambiance was pleasant. Shout out to the bartender who made the absolute best margaritas I've had outside of my own blender! My only critique is that the food lacked seasoning. Although I would still recommend Mosaic.

S
Sagar Fowler

The decor of this place is well done. Have nice cloth linen napkins. Ordered the Elk meat loaf and was excited tk try something different that might be full flavored. I asked to exchange esparagus for small side salad. This costs $2 extra on top of the meal that was already over $30. But I agreed and sat waiting for my salad. But apparently this place does not run by the normal order of food service in USA. I got my salad after my main entre. It was very small. My main disappointment was the mest loaf and potatoes. Meat loaf had very little flavor on its own so they had drenched it in the sauce they used. Sauce had a decent flavor but it was used to hide the fact that the mealaf had not flavor. The potatoes were not bad but also not good. They were just nothing I can find to complain about nor say anything positive about. There was only 3 tables with people and my water glass was empty for awhile before I had to request to get it filled. I think next time I am in this area I will not return.

B
Barty Prakash

The food was decent, average. I got the Lamb Smash Burger and I don’t think the description of the ‘Sando’ matched that I got. The description said two 3oz patties but the meat was very thin and flat. I liked the taste of the olives on the burger but I wish it had more flavor and weight. It was very light and the brioche bun was pretty dry. Rosemary Fries were cooked perfectly to my preference but again I wish it had more seasoning, as I didn’t taste the rosemary or enough salt. Cute restaurant overall.

L

I really wanted to give 4 stars but the Asparagus really disappointed me. They were about 6 to 7 but not tender and very much like chewing fiber! Avocado toast was good. Pizza was decent with thin crust which is good. Sadly, fries weren’t great. There was no hint of rosemary or garlic as mentioned in the menu, and they had some funny taste. Ice cream sandwich was superb! Kids loved it. My family tried vegetarian options and I wanted vegan and didn’t have any beverages so can’t comment on them. But glad to see so many choices for vegetarians. Will really appreciate if you add vegan burgers (use some beans vegetable patties, not just soy though). Service was very friendly and staff was great. It has good ambience too.

This is my second time here when I visited the area. I think when I came two years ago, it was slightly better. Good size pizza, cheese pasta dish was very heavy and cheesy. The chocolate dessert was heavenly. The fries have a slight twist to them and next time, we might order them plain.

Had lunch there yesterday with my daughter. I would say the food was okay, maybe good... it was a very long wait to get in, granted, it's a new place and there was other people that thought they would try it at lunch time, but when you are not acknowledged when you walk in, and have to wait 15 minutes to get a seat when there are tables available something needs to be improved after we ordered we waited 15 minutes and realized if we don't get our order soon, we won't have time to eat. Work schedules ask too much of us! ;) I asked if the order can't be ready soon to just make it to go and Wallah!!! We got our food. soup, salad and a sandwich shouldn't take that long that's for sure, but it was good, the soup was very good.. and salad how can you go wrong with that, brisket sandwich it was okay as well. I've heard of restaurants needing some time to sort things out but one should never run out of water. And don't expect I've in that water.. not sure the angle there. I'll try it again when the newness wears off.

**Thank you for the response, owner. I would be happy to talk with you, but would need your name/contact info.** The atmosphere is so good, right next to the sundial bridge and river trail. I was disappointed with the service and the food was good, but not amazing. After being seated it took several minutes for our server to come by. We had missed breakfast and asked if we could get avocado toast and/or eggs added to a lunch item. The server went to check, took him 10 minutes to come back and say, breakfast is put away, so sorry. The kitchen was directly behind our table. We ordered irish coffee, it took 10 minutes to arrive. They used canned whipped cream. (A good restaurant should use real heavy whipped cream). We asked for cream for our coffee, they brought it in a plastic to go container, see picture. Lunch was good, just not up a notch like I would expect at a nice restaurant like Mosaic. I know the service industry is struggling to keep great servers. I do have to say there were about 5 tables and 5 servers working, so.. some training and attention to service really needs to happen. Also, tried to find a "contact" option on the website to send this feedback, but couldn't find it. Pics: ketchup in metal container, ranch dressing and coffee creamer in plastic to go containers. Easy fixes.

S
Shane Lezzeni

Wildly overpriced. The food was competent. 24.00 for 6oz of flour, a few chunks of mozzarella and a few basil leaves is outrageous. The ingredients don't taste like they were made in-house, and nothing about the flavor profile demands a premium price. Four pizzas that were less than 14 inches in diameter cost me $120. The elk meatloaf was good, but again did not justify the premium price. Under seasoned and required a bit of salt and pepper. If they dropped the prices by 20%, I would probably add a star or two to this review, but after a price point I can't recommend it. If you're going for the "vibes" I want to feel good about yourself, maybe even a little bit pretentious, this is the venue for you. To each their own.

This, being my 1st time here to enjoy a great dinner, was disappointing. The restaurant entry area which leads to the bar, I guess, is extremely loud. Something ought to be done to quiet the loud voices for a more relaxing atmosphere. The interior temperature at the table inside the restaurant was very cold, I imagine due to the crowded bar beside the almost empty dining area. Our server was exceptional altho thru no fault of his the salad dressing in both our salad meals was watery and tasteless. Bummer.

A
Amanda Ortiz

Our food took an hour to get and was mediocre at best. Incredibly overpriced. $37 for a tiny piece of salmon and 4 baby potatoes, no veggies. The $25 pizza was not as good as other places that are half the price. Will not be returning.

A
Amanda Camprubi-Soms

This was a regrettable experience. I ordered an omelette and it was so small, practically no cheese or filling, it was dry and probably sat under the heating lamp while other meals were prepared. The side to the omelette were unseasoned “breakfast potatoes” with NOTHING on them, no salt, pepper, paprika, garlic….This was $18, and frankly WAY OVERPRICED. The burger my husband got was so-so, but for $25 it should impress. I complained to the waitress about the potatoes and she looked shocked I would call them out, she didn’t offer to take them to get something fixed or address the kitchen if it was a mistake. I’ve not regretted an outing so much. For a tiny omelette and two burgers it was $70! We also waited an hour for our meals. Which killed our time at the Turtle Bay Exploration Park, sad for everyone. NEVER going there again. BLAH!
