It's hard to give this place a bad rating. It is a place that is under transformation. A pearl in the oyster. A little high for the construction and the condition of the place, the rooms, and the pool, which is now non-existent, but the people, service, and free breakfast more than made up for those items. Look forward to seeing the Pearl when it is polished. LUV YA DEBRA!! ❤️

I feel the way they have the menus set up is a little deceptive. I got the nachos and the price for them mentions 15 for the large, above that though it has the meat prices. I didn’t know this was related as usually that kind of thing would be below the entree. They explained it to me which was nice of them cause I was a little thrown off by the total. They also charge for WATER. Was not told this. -The food: The food was alright. The avocado sauce was kind of a let down cause I was under the impression it’d either be an actual avacado or guacamole but no it’s a green sauce that lacks taste. -The meat, was alright they gave a decent amount for the total portion size, however it was pretty bland and seemingly unseasoned. For it being allegedly fajita steak, I was pretty dissatisfied. -The portion size: pretty small for it being the full order but filling none the less. The service: Seemed a bit detached but not unkind in any way to me. It would’ve been nice to have been told the water came with a charge. It’s a bit pricey like quite a bit. It’s the most I’ve ever spent on a plate of nachos. For that simple fact I won’t be coming back because the quality did not justify the price. If you’re going to charge 5 dollars for Bistec, at least season it.

1/8/26 Have to edit my review. Food and service was still good by $2.40 for a 12 cent bottle of Sam’s water is ridiculous. Did not disappoint again. Great food and service … plus covered parking! Music was a little loud, but tolerable since I ate alone. The Tacos Pastor were outstanding and the service was great as well. And now you can eat in comfort! I am glad to see that they FINALLY hired a real AC company to design and install a sufficient cooling system to keep the place comfortable after years and many attempts to get by cooling the old service bays “cheap”.

Food is always good. I ordered a 32 oz of beans and rice for pickup tell me why it was 50$??? Definitely delicious but if i wouldve knon i would of canceled before i got there. Just a heads up. Nothing else to complain about

Tacos very small and overpriced to be honest . Couldn’t order couple fish tacos it needs to be a full order, asada tacos was like boil meat.Been an a restaurant business most of my life and I always accommodate my customers.

Not what it used to be. We just moved back to Odessa and were excited to come back to this place—we used to visit every other Friday and loved it. Unfortunately, it’s really gone downhill. The food was overpriced and not good at all, and the salsa bar (which was one of the highlights) is gone. From the start, the waitress seemed annoyed. She didn’t bring the beans that normally come with every plate, and when we asked about chips, she told us they only bring them if the customer asks. Overall, the experience was disappointing and nothing like what it used to be. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Taquería Reynosa still offers excellent food and friendly service — the quality of their tacos and plates remains top-notch. However, removing the chips and salsa bar really took away what made this place special. Without it, the experience feels like any other taquería. Sadly, it’s no longer worth the extra drive, and I’d rather visit a closer spot for the same type of meal.

Make sure if you’re a table of six or more to know, it’s a gratitude of 18% which it’s fine when your server does a good job. Our server only went one time to check on us and the gratitude was $20 and it was only three adults two kids and a baby in a stroller. Food was great and the atmosphere but just that part.

I would rate it 0/10 if it had gave me the option. As soon as we were seated, the waitress was already trying to rush us into ordering. We had never been and we had questions about the menu. Our tacos were cold and the waitress said it was because of the onion and cilantro. One of the people that was with us didn’t order any toppings and their tacos were cold too. We had it sent back and she stood by the wall right across from us and watched us eat the whole time. Overpriced, no seasoning on the meats, the meats looked the same, bad services 0/10 do not recommend at all .

Would not recommend this place. If I could give a 0 I would. After me and my husband left this place we had to go back home despite having to run some errands because our stomach started hurting. I order my tacos and my husband order the papa asada and we are both feeling sick. We pretty sure we did get food poisoning from the meat. It’s already been more than 6 hours since we ate here and we been vomiting from the food they gave us. I also ate one of the raw tortillas before checking if there was anything wrong with them. But of course one would think they would gave you cooked tortillas. I have never written a review before but I don’t recommend this place to eat unless you want to get sick and miss a couple days of work
