No frills grab-and-go shack with delicious, real, home-made food. Nothing is hidden from sight, reassuring you of the fresh and quality ingredients. Bosnian Burger was huge and delicious. The cook was happy to give recommendations and strike a conversation. I will be coming back for more!

Been going for 10+ years, consistently good food

Food is soo good here. We got the Sudzuk/Suxuk sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, cucumber salad and baklava dessert, they were all delicious. We haven’t ordered one bad thing. Customer service was great too. Will be returning!

Amazing, fresh food and fast service. The pljeskavica (pita bread burger) fills you up for a good few hours. The čevapi are really good too. The place is super tiny and seating is limited but if you're looking for quality take out, this is the place to go.

This has been both myself and wife’s go to place for a very long time for authentic and delicious Eastern European takeout! We always order the Roasted Red Peppers with feta & Shepherd Salad to start then 10 pieces of Cevapi and their signature Pljekavica, and both are always incredible. The Cevapis are always perfectly cooked, and the Pljekavica has such a generous, flavorful burger filling. The kids always love the Bosna Express nuggets, think more than McDonald’s which is a HUGE WOW FACTOR in itself. PS: Do NOT forget to order extra Pita bread and the Cucumber Salad, dalish :) Everything tasted like it was made with care, reminiscent of a home-cooked meal. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it a fantastic value. Service was quick and friendly, too. If you're looking for comforting, homemade Eastern European food, this is the spot!

Great Bosnian food, came from Canada to see my NY family. Had to get Cevapi of course. Great Cevapi, it’s not cold for us here during winter as a Bosnian Canadian . There are so many people in NYC, everyone honks. Reminds us of Bosnia 🇧🇦

Awesome food. Adding this to my regular local places. Had the chicken pita burger and it was absolutely delicious! Grilled to perfection and loaded with toppings. Also got fries which were great. Food is made fresh to order and great quality. Check it out!

A Bosna Burger is the best if you're looking for an express taste test. Giant patties, round and delicious. Subtle spices to fulfill your wishes. Authentic hole-in-the-wall. Bench outside. Try it out and take your tongue for a ride.

The food is awesome, but the prices went up to high, way to high. I would eat here 3 times aweek.. a pljeskavica, costs over $15, i remember when it was only $8, double the price for no reason.. which is not worth the price they sell it at all.. the meat, to the ingredients, does not cost that much.. very unhappy.. DJERDAN in astoria, makes way better food, very very authentic balkan food, and the prices are better.. does not make sense to be greedy..

My experience was good the 1st time but the 2nd time not so much and I make my observation of the rice since it was not of the day, very dry and tasteless, I found the presentation of the gyro over rice and the cucumber salad very unpleasant fresh, sorry but I won't go back there. If I would recommend Cevapi

I’ve been going to Bosna Express for many years but I’m done with them. Food is tasty, I have to give them that but they’ve become way too money hungry. They charge you extra for everything. I asked for a platter to go. The guy asked “with everything?”. I told him not to put hot sauce but put some more white sauce. He ended up charging me an extra $1 without telling me that I’ll be charged extra. Last time I was there I got charged extra again. Their prices keep going up, portions keep getting smaller and extra charge for everything. I didn’t even get a plastic fork. How the hell am I supposed to eat it? I was afraid to ask for one because that probably would’ve been another $1. The photo shows my platter with the extra white sauce. Does it look like I got that much more white sauce?
