This is one of the very few times in my life where I consumed something more akin to art than food. We tend to be in such a rush… the staff, the atmosphere, and the food forced us to actually slow down and enjoy our meal. Absolutely recommend coming here and trying the mystery tasting menu.
Outstanding. Everything was just perfect. Lorenzo and his colleagues were superb and attentive throughout. The food was incredible (we had the 4 course taster menu) and dietery requirements well catered for. Location is amazing, especially as the large glass doors were open as a thunderstorm rolled in (it's a Middle East thing)

Once in a while I get caught out. I'm pretty economical on giving stars, you have to go a long way to earn a perfect 5. But once in a while there is a restaurant that sets a new standard and I immediately regret previous 5s. Ristorante Zu is that example. Impeccable service, food, wine selection AND recommendation, location all served in a humble environment completely respecting their art and tradition. They have truly built a "family" of like minded individuals and it shows. We applaude you and thank you for the attention to detail and intelligence displayed without effort by your entire staff... And yes we met the entire staff. Humbling to be served by you xx
Fabulous! We went on Saturday before Easter and we absolutely loved it. The 7 course tasting menu is a journey through local tradition and innovation. The wine list is superb, and the service is more than 5 stars. What about the settings? Stunning!!!! It deserves a Michelin Star

We had the 4 course menu and all the dishes were delicious! Also wine pairing was really good. One of us ordered a vegetarian menu and it was tasty. Beautiful views and very friendly staff. Highly recommended! ✨
Beautiful place with a great view of the lake, it felt so private. Although it was a rainy day, we still had a great view. We had Saturday lunch here and all we ate was awesome, all were delicious! The giant fish head was incredible, which was showed to us before cooking it more and plating it. It was a 'fuori menu'/special plate on that day. Also highly recommended the Risotto with Sarda di Monte Isola, incredible taste! They have parking by the road and also down near the entrance of the restaurant, so convenient. They allow pets, too ;) We will return to try more of their dishes.
We come for lunch every year on our way back from a skiing trip. We’ve never had a bad meal. The food is excellent, the staff very friendly and the views are magnificent. Can’t wait to come back.

Super amazing place. Not cheap but - imho - it's more than worth the price. All dishes and service were top. Ample parking space for car. The view over the lake is magnificent. Unforgettable dinner!
One of the best food experiences of my life so far. The little restaurant is located not far from riva di solta, approx. 30 m above lake level at the quiet road along lago di iseo. The Restaurant offers a great location with a wunderful garden and of course a a great view onto the lake. The Interieur is well classicly designed an offers a romantic charme. The food was fantastic as well the service was first class. I can truely recommend to visit and enjoy a the overall fantastic experience. Saluti

Wonderful location. However, a bit too pricy for the food. Pretty good quality, local ingredients and peculiar stories by the waiter!
I've traveled to different countries all over the world and dined at very high rated (multiple!!!) Michelin star awarded restaurants. Let me tell you, I can't recall, (ever!) encounturing such a non-accomodating staff at what is supposed to be a high class environment. I never would have expected for Zu's staff to be so ill mannered and treat their guests in such a rude way. We had reserved a table for dinner, party of 4. The only seating arrangement they offered was on the balcony over looking the lake. Lit areas around the lake at night tend to attract mosquitoes, and since we were already covered in mosquito bites we politely requested to be seated inside. The rude host basically told us you can sit at the table that I am giving you or you can leave!! I NEVER heard that in a restaurant, where a PAYING customer is dining, the customer can't choose to dine indoors instead of being outdoors, NEVER! So, guess what we did... we left! I just couldn't stand their arrogant demeanor. I was excited to dine there and I'm sure the food is great but if the customer is turned off by the rudeness of the staff to the point he just wants to walk out and not even sit down to try the food, then what's the point!! I rather spend my money at a multiple Michelin star award winning restaurant where I get service that meets the standard expected rather than giving my money to a place that has staff that doesn't even deserve to work at a truck driver's pit stop from how rude they are.
Extremely non welcoming and non hospital. The restaurant host was rude. They were not willing to allow seating in the indoor portion of the dinning room. We left and went elsewhere. Incredibly non welcoming, and non accommodating
