One of the best food experiences of my life so far. The little restaurant is located not far from riva di solta, approx. 30 m above lake level at the quiet road along lago di iseo. The Restaurant offers a great location with a wunderful garden and of course a a great view onto the lake. The Interieur is well classicly designed an offers a romantic charme. The food was fantastic as well the service was first class. I can truely recommend to visit and enjoy a the overall fantastic experience. Saluti

I've traveled to different countries all over the world and dined at very high rated (multiple!!!) Michelin star awarded restaurants. Let me tell you, I can't recall, (ever!) encounturing such a non-accomodating staff at what is supposed to be a high class environment. I never would have expected for Zu's staff to be so ill mannered and treat their guests in such a rude way. We had reserved a table for dinner, party of 4. The only seating arrangement they offered was on the balcony over looking the lake. Lit areas around the lake at night tend to attract mosquitoes, and since we were already covered in mosquito bites we politely requested to be seated inside. The rude host basically told us you can sit at the table that I am giving you or you can leave!! I NEVER heard that in a restaurant, where a PAYING customer is dining, the customer can't choose to dine indoors instead of being outdoors, NEVER! So, guess what we did... we left! I just couldn't stand their arrogant demeanor. I was excited to dine there and I'm sure the food is great but if the customer is turned off by the rudeness of the staff to the point he just wants to walk out and not even sit down to try the food, then what's the point!! I rather spend my money at a multiple Michelin star award winning restaurant where I get service that meets the standard expected rather than giving my money to a place that has staff that doesn't even deserve to work at a truck driver's pit stop from how rude they are.

Extremely non welcoming and non hospital. The restaurant host was rude. They were not willing to allow seating in the indoor portion of the dinning room. We left and went elsewhere. Incredibly non welcoming, and non accommodating
