Beautiful setting, pretty inside. I felt like royalty because the staff was so attentive! The food is good too!
Beautiful view of pond and trees from every room. Great cleaning and kind staff. Their Breakfast place was also great.
Amazing food with a friendly wait staff. Able to accommodate a large group despite being an hour early for our reservation due to a miscommunication. Very professional.
Wonderful food at a great price. Atmosphere is great. Will be going back!
A hidden gem! I have stayed at "The Inn at the Beaches" at least a dozen times and had a great stay every time. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful property. We ate in the pub part. Excellent food and service.
Went to the jazz festival is a great place
Easter brunch was awesome, everything we've been here for has been nothing less than great! Will continue to have events here!

Fine food, service great. Will be back!
Beautiful dining area, the copper is very pretty. Food was great!
Attended a luncheon at the Beeches. I had the stuffed pork filet, it was amazing! Would definitely eat here again.
Recently had my son's wedding reception at Beeches. Start to finish: Food Facility Staff Price 5 star
They did a great job at the event I attended. Arrive was phenomenal!
It is a wonderful family-owned place. They take pride in making sure that their guests are comfortable. I Stay there every year when I go to a film festival in the town
The Beeches has always been a very comfortable, classy atmosphere. They have excellent food and drinks, they host amazing Sunday brunches and their wedding services are exceptional.
Best stay for snowmobiling in NY!! Staff is excellent, rooms are clean. Food is good. Our snow club goes every year.
The Beeches Manor is a great venue for conferences and meetings. The wonderful staff combined with great food is a recipe for success.
Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and some of the best food we’ve eaten in a VERY long time!
We love going here.... great food, great service, and when we go on Thursdays, great entertainment.
The food, staff, atmosphere, and prices are exceptional in every way! 11/10
My favorite place to go snowmobiling out of they are right on the trail system the trail passes through their property when you stay overnight you get free breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel and at night the end at the beeches has a wonderful dinner selection upscale foods and bar foods and and Ice Bar
Always a great experience, food is amazing every time
Very sad to hear about The Beeches closing. Your hospitality to the Landcare pilots was absolutely fantastic, and I will never forget it. Thank you so much for the memories, and best of wishes to you all. Cole
Very nice place. Catered my companies christmas party and the place was very exceptional. Food was great and the staff did an amazing job. Highly recommended
The food was so good and very nicely plated. The ambience was nice, music in the background, lovely copper tables and decor. Really enjoyed our evening meal here!
Staying here always feels like coming home! I love that there is a mini fridge and microwave in every room it makes it so easy to bring back leftovers from the Savoy! I also LOVE the smell of the soap in the bathroom, it has a pure clean smell not the heavy purfumed scent you all to often find in lesser brands.
They have fresh clean rooms! A great place to enjoy a comfortable stay with natural beauty surrounding it! The bar is fantastic! When it comes to stiring up a Manhattan, they're pros! Excellent customer ssrvice, the staff were all very nice and welcoming!
Amazing food, service and atmosphere! Mushroom Swiss burger the best I've ever had. Will be returning to try more menu options in the future.
It's a great historical spot to check out in Rome. The decor makes you feel like you stepped into the past for a drink. The bar is well kept and the staff is very friendly. The grounds are beautiful and definitely worth at least driving through to see!
Professional yet friendly staff. Was my 1st time visiting but I will be back. Amanda made us feel right at home.
If you don't feel like cooking on a holiday.... The Beeches has you covered. Great homemade food where you can sit and enjoy your family!! Food! Food! Food! There will be something for everyone!! Dessert too!! Best part... No one has to wash the dishes!! 💯✔
Had our wedding reception here. The staff was amazing at anticipating our needs and wants. They were very flexible when Utica flooded and everyone arrived late. The staff are professionals. The food was amazing (we had bacon wrapped scalaps, caprese, spanakopita, chicken cordon blue and steak). I would highly recommend.
We enjoyed everything here at the Beeches from the soothing, welcoming feel of the estate-like grounds--with their wide lawns, ponds, and fountain--to our encounters with the smiling and helpful staff. Adding to the charm were little touches like evening turndown service with spring water, mints, and local apples. An all-around happy stay!
Great old historic huge home w/ amazing character! But on Sundays, the Beeches come alive w/ Sunday Brunch! The best in our area! You have to try it! The Mimosas & Bloody Mary's are the best!
Have been here many times for brunch or weddings. Have always had a good experience. Customer service is very good as is the food. Brunch there is excellent with an expansive list of items. Highly recommended.
The Beeches Manor, is for anyone that does not appreciate those noisy chain restaurants. And those restaurants with absurdly loud music and patrons. The Dining room staff, is Five Stars. The chef is worthy of a couple Michelin Stars. The food, is probably what royalty is accustomed to. The Beeches Manor, is undoubtedly the best restaurant in the Copper City, and the menu can compete with any fine dining business in Utica, and the Turning Stone. The ceilings are copper-colored, as are the tables, and the bathrooms are copper plated. The bathrooms make you feel as if walking into a past era of richness and luxury. Copper decor, is historic symbolism of the Copper City. My Father had the broiled seafood platter. Mother, had the sea scallops and Risotto. Brother, had the Garlic Rosemary Chicken, which he described as the best he's ever eaten. Me? I had the Pork Osso Bucco. Cooked to perfection. Spiced perfectly. And all shared a mouth-watering stomach-filling plate of Lobster Mac & Cheese and Garlic Parmesan wings. The chicken wings, were not drowning in sauce, making the wings soggy. These wings were crisp, the garlic taste noticeable & not overwhelming, and loaded with freshly grated parmesan cheese. All restaurants, noted in the area for their wings, need make the wings as the Beeches Lodge serves'em. Best-of-all was the Dining staff. Not intrusive at all. And they give you however much time and assistance you need to decide upon a menu selection, and do not rush you to consume a meal, as many of these atrocious chain restaurants do, when their only goal is to serve as many customers as possible, per night, with frozen, pre-packaged foods. The Beeches Lodge, is fresh, inviting, stimulating, and addictive. Yes, it is large enough for meetings, groups, and private events. And also has a takeout by self-pickup only. Order some food, after a busy Wednesday, Thursday, Friday stop-by, and pick-up. It'll invigorate you and your palette. For the Summer of 2025, we'd like to see a couple steadfast steak options on the menu. New Yorkers, love their steaks. A sixteen-ounce Bone-in Ribeye, and a lean protein-packed cut of Top Sirloin(for us heart patients), would sell on weekends. Any television chef, parading themselves as the world's best, and any chef of the American Culinary Institute, would be very proud to have a meal at the Beeches Lodge.
Went there for my gbabies first birthday 🎂. The staff was helpful for set up or whatever my daughter in law needed. It was clean. Cloth tableclothes/ Napkins. Casual dress is fine. It looks really nice, kind of fancy but it's really a very relaxing, calming atmosphere. It was very nice.
The Pub was inviting, and service was great. Prices were comparable to other places nearby. Will definitely go again!
My sister just got married here. The coordinator did an amazing job. The drinks were great. The rooms definitely need an upgrade but if you're going for a rustic/ get away from technology vibe it's great
Been to the pub/bar area and that was delicious. The on a Friday night to the room in the back, long wait to order and even longer to get food. Sat down at 7, ate around 9.
This place is beautiful! Secluded and perfect for a cute getawayn with your significant other. There's 2 ponds with a local family of geese swimming around. They have smoking and non smoking rooms so whatever you'd like. Place looks like an cute little cottage. There's parking in the front for checking in and for guests you have your own spot out back in front of the door to your room. Highly recommend staying here
Impeccable vibes across the board for any ages. Live music sets an amazing mood For the entire restaurant. Will be returning for the people Service Music Atmosphere and FOOD
Went to a wedding reception awesome atmosphere for any event the food was great service was 10 plus every one was very happy
I have enjoyed The Beeches Manor as a patron of their restaurant/pub and as a facilitator for a leadership program. The food quality is consistently high, and the service is provided by friendly and attentive staff. As a facilitator, the setting for training larger groups is uniquely designed to enjoy abundant natural light overlooking the beautiful setting of the lawn and pond. This makes for an ideal learning environment. Again, the service provided as a host of training events is of excellent quality because of the staff's responsiveness and care.
Good food, excellent staff. I took my wife and her family there for her fiftieth birthday, and everybody was very happy with the venue
Wonderful place to eat. Friendly servers and great food
Fabulous! Interesting appetizer, (Corned beef, deep fried w potato) Excellent! Great service. +Atmosphere. A Good memory, Invited by a dear friend over 12 yrs ago. Then took my parents. ❤️ So Glad it reopened! Lovely Staff! Felt welcomed. Watch for Brunch buffet Last Sunday of every month! Will be there!
Tasty, well prepared food time after time. Service provided by friendly and knowledgeable servers. Can be somewhat noisy depending on your seating location. Large groups tax the acoustics. Prime rib is outstanding. 🤪
This is a beautiful banquet facility with multiple rooms available. Nice decor and ambiance. Food served buffet or plated. Efficient staff. Decorated nicely with linen tablecloths and chair covers. Good lighting. Nice dance floors. Ample parking and wheelchair accessible.
What a great place! The wife and I were looking for a place to eat tonight, and she suggested the Beeches Manor...specifically the pub. I am sad to say that I haven't been here in many years despite living so close. First off, the remodeled areas look absolutely great. The place was so radically different I hardly recognized it. It was clean, airy and welcoming. We sat at a hi-top in the pub, and was greeted by a very nice gentleman, the bartender. He quickly brought our drinks over and took our order. My wife had the macaroni and cheese with chicken and said it was delicious...definitely homemade. I had the broiled seafood platter, and it was quite good. Sometimes seafood is hard to get right, but the fish, scallops and shrimp were all cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely... it was a huge plate of food, and I regretted ordering an appetizer (crab cakes -also excellent- no fake crab meat!) Did not have to ask for drink refills, which to me, is a sign of a very good conscientious server. It was very reasonably priced - not cheap, but worth every penny. I have no issue paying for good service and delicious food. We'll be back... The place has a large dining room next to the pub, which apparently fills up quickly, and so I would suggest a reservation. The pub only has about 6 tables, and I'm sure that fills up quickly as well. We were early birds for dinner, and didn't have a problem on a Friday, but as we were leaving, there was a good stream of people coming in. Great spot! Musician playing as well...
The food was exquisite, the atmosphere was phenomenal, and the service was top notch, everyone was very attentive. It was my first time there, but my lunch companion use to go there quite a bit many years ago, before the remodel, we both much enjoyed it and look forward to going back for dinner. Great, unique, historical venue, with a modern twist. I didn't get a picture of my beef on a weck, it was to good to stop but I did manage to get one of the lobster roll
My wife and I had our Wedding Reception here. The restaurant is great and stands out in the area as a romantic place to share a wonderful meal with your loved one(s). The staff are also very accommodating and friendly. March 2024 First visit since they reopened. Food was very good and service was quick and pleasant. It's very modern and bright inside and would make a great venue for an event. This is a great option for a fancy meal in Rome. We visited on a Saturday night and were able to be seated without reservations. It's a shame there was no background music as the only thing lacking was some atmosphere. April 2024 (Lucky) for us the restaurant was booked for a private event so we had to eat in the pub area. Entrees were off the menu so we got to try the pub menu and it was superb! Irish Keggers are like giant tater tots stuffed with corned beef. The nachos were tasty and well presented. I recommend pairing them with the pulled pork - the best I've ever tasted. My favorite was the sliced fillet mignon and greens sandwich. It was cooked perfectly and easy to bite and comes with a perfect horse radish sauce. Thank you to the bartender that made us feel welcome and helped us enjoy a wonderful evening out! December 2024 It's always a treat coming here. On Saturday they offer a mean Prime rib. Highly recommend this. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. November 2025 Haven't eaten here for a while but have ordered out. Saturday is the best time for us but it has been closed for private events whenever we checked. My wife and I enjoyed a good meal last night. I decided to try the Osso Buco (slow cooked pork shank) and it was superbly presented and was delicious even the day after when I reheated my left overs. Try this dish. It's fall off the bone goodness and goes well with their mashed potato.
We usually get burgers for our take out, but this time we tried the Philly cheesesteak. Everything we try has been top notch quality and taste. The beer cheese, peppers onions and mushrooms made it hearty and flavorful.
We celebrated a birthday with dinner at the Beeches. It was a perfect experience. Tanya was our waitress....very attentive and her suggestions were spot on. The best service we've had in a long time. We will be asking for her table the next time we go. The sea bass with "scales" potatoes was delicious. The prime rib tender and flavorful. A perfect evening.
ItIt was a nice stay, the wedding reception venue was perfect. Rooms are quite dated and could definitely do with updating and more maintenance.
Great Sunday brunch with a wonderful variety of breakfast and main dish foods. 2 for one Bloody Mary's for 4.99.
Nice menu selections and great live music !
Older type of place. Fairly clean. Breakfast is top notch. WiFi is bad unless given a personal router.
Was there for a banquet on 06 Mar 16. The room was setup nicely and very clean. Staff was very professional and friendly.
Easter brunch was excellent except there was no biscuits and gravy as advertised which was the reason I went there.
Clean, easy to get to, polite attentive staff. If you're looking for every amenity under the sun, this isn't the place for you, but if you're looking for a good deal, they take pride in their work, and it shows. I would stay here again.
Ate in the restaurant. Nice different decor. Excellent food and service. As far as i know, it is not a hotel anymore.
Clean and very friendly place to stay. Breakfast in thr restaurant is wonderful. Best place we have found for the price in 25 years visiting .
I was here for 50th HS reunion brunch. Buffet was well thought out and the food was very tasty. Being a Sunday morning one might think that the service may suffer. However, the staff was very attentive attentabnd quick to serve. Being the site of our HS prom 50 years ago, it's nice to see that this fine establishment still maintains it's high level of service after so many years.
This is a hidden gem. Quaint breakfast place. The usual choices, but very reasonably priced and a great atmosphere. This is not the main restaurant at the Breeches, it is down back near the apartments. Not just for guests though. Open Monday through Friday Six to ten and Saturday and Sunday eight to noon. Will be going back.
Great food and service at the conference center. Rooms suck. The Desisto family needs to decide whether they are interested in keeping this business ... it seems that they're not rumors as if they're trying to sell a business. They certainly are investing in it I used to stay at the Beeches but the rooms are so terrible ... I no longer do. Be glad talk to Frank Desesto and that would be helpful
The food was good, but the service was very slow but very friendly, no wine list and very noisy. They haven't been open long so hoping it will get better.
Wonderful show with amazing singer. Very pretty spot to enjoy for sure. Wait staff excellent and sttentative. Only thing that was difficult was going thru ,2 lines to get all your food and the hot gravy was at the end. Tasty food for sure
I'm glad I gave them a second chance from the first time. This experience was extremely better than my first! We only sat in the bar area but our drinks were great, the Rueben Fritters were on point (delicious) and our bartender was perfect! Great comeback from my first experience since they opened. Can't wait to go back!
Came in for lunch and really liked it. Food was good, service was as well. I had their beef on week and my wife had their chicken and greens sandwich. I was a little surprised that our lunch for 2 sandwiches and no drinks (we just had water) was over $40. I would say I liked it enough to come in again. Loved the pub style vibe.
I have stayed here a few time and have always enjoyed my time. It's an older place so keep this in mind when you stay here. if you are use to all the "new" hotels go somewhere else. But for a feel like grandma's house atmosphere I would say yes. The rocking chairs out front with a cup of coffee watching the evening go by....awesome. The restaurant on the site has bigger sized portions and the food was good. Breakfast was nice and the people treated me like family.
Had the pleasure of a stay at the Beeches Inn for a family gathering (Aug 7-11, 2014). The bathroom was new with a roomy shower. The room had nice furniture, was pleasant, clean and no odors (a must for me). The mattress slept great, better than I have at home. This is not a vanilla box of a chain hotel, rather an updated 50's era motor court motel (Colonial theme), where you park your car at the back door to your room (much easier to load/ unload), and the family can gather out the front door on the veranda overlooking rolling greens, pond and watch the ducks, geese and the occasional egret. Very relaxing. We gathered for the inexpensive breakfast in the cafe restaurant every morning, along with the local senior regulars. Staff great, servers wonderful. Every night, a small basket of water/apple/mint chocolates appeared. All in all, a very pleasant stay on a former country estate, but just 5 minutes from downtown.
It is a good experience. Staff is friendly place looks great. Band on Thursday, nice crowd but plenty of room left for more. Entrees are very good. Had fish fry it was excellent.
Went for Sunday Brunch. Atmosphere is excellent. Choices for brunch were median. Food was good. Deserts were lacking in choices.
We've held multiple events here, and the staff can be difficult to get ahold of, and never seems to be ready to let us in when we have to start setting up in the morning. Food was fine, atmosphere is good, a little outdated
Staff is wonderful, however there was a ring of bacteria around my bathtub, stains in my blanket, etc. Place also needs some more modern amenities, no wifi or hdmi tvs.
Beautiful location, large grounds, great woodsy feel with a pond, grounds are maintained well. A lot of property to walk on with motel style accommodations, or cottages, have not stayed here. From what I have heard the hotels are kind of run down, need cleaning, and updated.
The staff is very friendly, but the rooms are outdated for the price. Somewhat clean though our room had gnats all over. Don't know if it's just the weather but there has to be a way to keep them out. TV channel selection was great.
I want to start by saying the waitress was great she did a good a decent job for big group we had. Couple things we ordered the 2 kids meal first only got one. My daughter had to wait over 2 hours for her food at that point she didnt want to eat cause she was to tired. We got there at 5:30. Didnt eat into closer to 8. Food wasnt the greatest. Chicken cordon bleu sandwich dry, usually ham and turkey are stuffed in the chicken no it was placed on top.of the chicken no sauce. Chicken tenders, no taste little hard, my oldest barely ate hers. The food did not come all together so everyone was eating at different times. Food was cold. Bf food wasnt great at all. Some of our party food really had no taste to there food maybe cause it was cold why it didn't taste good idk first time coming here. Over 600 dollars to get cold food with no taste, dry, and hard. And not be able to get together with our party. Disappointing...
We went there for Mother's day. Right after we sat down with our food, thethe leaf of the table gave way and spilled a full plate of food all over my mother-in-law's dress and blouse. The staff was tardy coming over and coming to our assistance. Finally, they moved us to a dark corner of the restaurant. (I guess that because there were so many people eating dinner, caring for such problems was not a priority). We would up taking our own dinner plates filled with food, our water and wine glasses and napkins to the table because the staff was not on the ball. We sat down and all our food was cold. So the owner of the restaurant comes over and pompously offers to pay for the dry cleaning but didn't offer to pay for the dinner of my mother in law. When this possibility was mentioned, he became defensive and after some harsh words asked my wife" What do you want me to do...gravl on the floor". Such unprofessional conduct was bad enough but after being shocked, we looked over to the table of the incident and saw another party had been seated there. I went over and spoke with a nice gentleman. When I told them to beware of the faulty table, he then stood up and told me he had sat on food that was left in the chair from our mishap. Evidently, the staff was so busy that they failed to clean up the dirty table. I think all the higher ups care about is making money and comfort of the customers is secondary.
My fiance and I looked at Beeches for our wedding reception. We fell in love with the outside but the inside could use a facelift. Anyway, we had one question for the owner (lady named Dawn was suppose to get back to us). I've called several times, and the last thing she said "he just got in, let me ask him and I'll call you right back".... that was almost 3 months ago, still no call. Needless to say, we booked a different venue.
I ordered the Shepards Pie. Worst ever. A shepards pie is a layer of ground beef with a layer of veggies, topped with mashed potatoes and then baked so that the potatoes form crust. What I got was a bowl of soupy ground beef with veggies mixed and a squirted on layer of potatoes. No additional baking. It was awful. Couldn't finish it. It will be a very long time before we will ever return to the beeches.
For the price the rooms are very outdated. Pool is way too far from rooms and our room said it was a poolside room. You have to drive to it and then walk through the grounds to get to it and it closed at 5 during the week. And when they had events like weddings on the grounds access to the pool was restricted. Our toilet was broken and stained. Mold on ceiling above the shower and holes in the blinds. Air conditioning didn't work well and the room stayed damp so our towels never dried and the washcloths smelled from staying wet. Other than paint I honestly dont think the room had been updated in 30 years. It was quiet which was nice but otherwise disappointing. Back in the day I'm sure it was a nice place to stay and with some upgrades it could be a very nice place again.
Went in for happy hour and to get dinner, drinks. We ordered our dinner appetizers came out in a normal timeframe, but then we proceeded to wait over an hour for our main courses with zero communication from our server/bartender(guy with snake tattoo) I think after 50 minutes or so, he realized either he screwed up or the kitchen screwed up with preparing our food And then disappeared into the back for about 20 minutes. We then had our food delivered by a new server (food was average we got the cheese steak sandwich and pulled pork Mac and cheese) two things that shouldn’t have taken that long to prepare. We took a few bites of our food and we’re ready at that point to box it up and go home for the night so we waited for our original server to provide us with the check and hopefully an explanation for what happened with our food, but we are informed that he went home for the night. Just an overall bad, first experience at the newly renovated beeches. Bathrooms are nice though! Copper sinks!
I was at your restaurant tonight with a group of about 10 people at a table to watch showtime in all my friends in order their food ahead of time and when I got there Magnum was left in my seat but I did not get to order when the lady finally brought the food because nobody came over in between time we are over so I could order and she gave us and walked away after she gave the sweet potato fries and some dip for another person at the table I have been there every time with the bands and the lady behind the bars the one that always served us but this time service was horrible it was a young girl blonde hair with glasses and a ponytail very disappointed tonight
I attended a wedding here... Meh. It's seems like the couple could have got a better value elsewhere but who knows. The entire industry is crassly expensive
terrible, musty smelling, curtains from the 80,s old tube tv, rust everywhere, dust two inches thick on lamps, chairs and head boards, found bug on the pillow and poop on the floor in our room, no other hotels in the area, made them move us to another room just as dirty but not musty smelling can't believe people stay there
It's a ghost town, there lounge doesn't even have a pool table, or anything that would keep guests amused yet there crazy high on there prices.. I'm sure it used to be a nice place way back .. but now? Nope.
Lovely venue, so-so food, offensive Christmas skit that was really terrible. The singer however was very good but his attire was inappropriate. After all this was supposed to put you in the Christmas spirit. Very disappointed. Visited on a senior trip November 30; 2017.
