A classic osteria with a refined and relaxed atmosphere, generous portions (very!), but above all, the best fried frogs I've ever eaten: small frogs (so local) fried to perfection, absolutely dry and crispy. One leads to another... Discreet and timely service. Excellent value: appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, coffee and digestif for two, two bottles of water and two of wine, total €100! Already booked to return a second time with family and friends! PS: Four-legged friends are welcome.

We've known Patrizia and her legendary frog risotto for almost 40 years. Coming here every time is like coming home. The frog risotto is the signature dish, but the other specialties are also top-notch (fried frogs and fish, frog omelette, stewed snails and bourguignonne). Mario, in the dining room, is a guarantee. Try it...you won't regret it!

The food and service are always excellent. Note the classy nature of the regular coffee in a small cup and the double coffee in a matching cup. It's the details that make the difference. Thank you.

We went to this restaurant today and it was a fantastic experience. On the owner's advice we started with some appetizers (mixed cold cuts, Russian salad and pickles), one better than the other. We then continued with the local specialty, frog risotto and then moved on to the fried frogs and snails. All very good. Unfortunately we had to give up dessert... because we were full!!!! All accompanied by good red wine. The price? In our opinion it was already more than honest but the owners also gave us a discount!!! Very nice experience to definitely do again. Thank you for a lovely day you made us have!!!!!

Can you give a trattoria 5 stars? Absolutely. An incredible place where you can feel all the authenticity of times gone by! A place with few frills and lots of substance, recommended for the vertical tasting of frogs and snails. Every dish was a crescendo, from the appetizer to the final breath, dessert. Everything was washed down with complimentary house wine and liqueurs. It probably cost 40 euros (for three people eating for portions of 6). The host was friendly and kind, and the cook was superb! All topped off by the legendary Mario and company (a regular customer), who played and sang all the traditional Lombard songs on his guitar.

The atmosphere is clean and well-kept, just like grandma's house. Truly excellent food and very reasonable prices. The place is always busy, so reservations are always recommended. The snails are top-notch. The frogs are superb, fried or in rice. The black cherry tart is better than the best pastry shop's. The apple pie is exquisite. For 4 people, €95. TRY IT!

It is an old-fashioned trattoria, this for me is a quality! A small town where this business is located. If you want to taste traditional dishes you have to get there and make a choice. There is a bar where people play cards, and on the other side of the room, served kindly, you can taste the local dishes. The small frogs, crunchy in every possible combination with rice or fried with small fish. I do not give the fifth star because the pastry shop should be updated but all this is a defect/merit linked to the history of the place. The bill is a pleasant surprise, honest!!

The price of the appetizer was absolutely unthinkable... €36 for three people. Obviously, all without prices, just to have a surprise at the end. The choice was between rice and tagliatelle with mushrooms and that was it. The ambiance was obviously what it is, but for what we were offered, I expected half the price. Three first courses, one appetizer for three, a small bowl of frogs and sorbet... €90? Not even in the center of Milan...
