The atmosphere is clean and well-kept, just like grandma's house. Truly excellent food and very reasonable prices. The place is always busy, so reservations are always recommended. The snails are top-notch. The frogs are superb, fried or in rice. The black cherry tart is better than the best pastry shop's. The apple pie is exquisite. For 4 people, €95. TRY IT!

One of the few trattorias in and around Pavia where you can still eat excellent fried frogs and fish. The risotto with frogs and snails, both stewed and bourguignonne-style, is also excellent. Everything is good quality and plentiful. We go there often and have always had a great experience.

A very quiet Trattoria with everything you would expect from a typical restaurant in Moncucco. Appetizers of fresh cured meats and very harmonious risotto with frogs. The best are the fried frogs and the snails. All accompanied by a good house red. Also recommended is the tiramisu!

It is an old-fashioned trattoria, this for me is a quality! A small town where this business is located. If you want to taste traditional dishes you have to get there and make a choice. There is a bar where people play cards, and on the other side of the room, served kindly, you can taste the local dishes. The small frogs, crunchy in every possible combination with rice or fried with small fish. I do not give the fifth star because the pastry shop should be updated but all this is a defect/merit linked to the history of the place. The bill is a pleasant surprise, honest!!

The price of the appetizer was absolutely unthinkable... €36 for three people. Obviously, all without prices, just to have a surprise at the end. The choice was between rice and tagliatelle with mushrooms and that was it. The ambiance was obviously what it is, but for what we were offered, I expected half the price. Three first courses, one appetizer for three, a small bowl of frogs and sorbet... €90? Not even in the center of Milan...
