We went for brunch and it was a great experience! There was a lot to choose from for my husband and I and our kids. They even serve fruit and tiny cinnamon rolls as part of the meal. Will definitely be back.

Mother’s Day lunch. Picked an invisible spot outside Dallas for a great experience. So much rain on Mother’s Day but didn’t drown the touches Mac’s made happen. The Cinnamon buns/fruit app off the bat no expectations was something I feel puts this place in top 5 Grapevine. Service was great and busy morning she really shined. Every plate was well done and enjoyed the atmosphere and service.

This was in November and was a last minute booking on a Saturday. We were seated at the back which is the quieter part of the restaurant. Server was attentive but not intrusive. And out drinks were regularly topped up without asking. So service was top notch for us. Bread (sourdough) was complementary and fresh. It was a good start. We went with the recommendation for the starter of crab cakes. The breading on the crab cake was really lightly breaded and crab filling was fresh. Crab cakes in other restaurants can be mixed especially if they are not using fresh crab and you can taste the 'fishiness.' Macs' version is fresh so it is a wonderful starter. Our mains were the pork chops with mash (though we added vegetables) and the special of Grouper (you had a choice of blackened or grilled) with Crawfish Etouffee over rice. The meats were cooked perfectly. The pork chops were tender and seasoned well. The steamed vegetables still had a bite and not overcooked which is the way we liked it. And the mash was creamy. The presentation on the grouper has much to be desired but was tasty. I wasn't too keen on their rice (the server said it was Jasmine but I don't believe this was the case or they didn't cook it well). It was the first time I had etouffee and unfortunately it is not my cup of tea. Overall we liked our experience in the restaurant. They also have a pop up menu from time to time (called The Hidden). And they participated in this year's restaurant week (we had the lamb chops and they were excellent).

One of our local favorites. Never been disappointed with Macs On Main. Tonight I had the charbroiled pork chops. They were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Exceptional service as usual. Our waitress Heather was on point. Courteous and informative about the menu.

Super service from our waitress! She was on point and made great recommendations. We had meatball, crab claw and quesadilla appetizers, all wonderful!! Steaks and Halibut special was outstanding!! All with wine for a great value!

I've been to Mac's many times - this specific visit was a brunch session with family. Mac's is always consistent with great service. I do wish their menu had more variety and had a few fresher/greener elements throughout, but definitely a solid experience each time.

This restaurant had a good atmosphere, and we had a nice waiter that was very informative on their cuisine. However, the food was very disappointing. Everything lacked flavor and just did not live up the hype. My son’s chicken fried steak came with a black obvious hair cooked into it which the waiter apologized for and expedited a new one cooked. However, no one asked if he wanted a complementary dessert or even comped that dish due to this situation, so that was a little strange. I would say another interesting thing to be aware of is the salad is definitely not complementary. The waiter asked if we wanted a house salad and bread and we said, of course, not knowing it was $5 a person for the salad which definitely was not worth the price. Informing customers there is an up charge for items is essential. My wife got the grilled shrimp and subbed quinoa brown rice for the white rice, and it was overcooked. The star of the show was my daughter’s kid chicken strip and fries’ plate.

I'm writing this review as I'm sitting at the restaurant so show how disappointed I am with the food and service with this place. I ordered my ribeye medium rare and because of how freaken thin the steaks are cut it came out medium well. The steak has little to no seasoning and for a dry age steak I am sorely disappointed as it lacks any flavored Our side was supposed to be wilted spinach however half of it was still raw and again...no seasoning what's so ever. The steak potatoes that accompany the steak while beautifully cooked was again lacking any flavor.... So I guess that's the theme of the evening...lacking a flavor I've honestly had better steaks and potatoes from outback steak house...

Will no longer be a customer of Mac's main after dealing with the horrendous manager. There was a viewing and baby shower occurring within the same retail center and sadly that retail center has very limited parking. Instead of being understanding, the manager decided to harass and threaten people for parking LEGALLY because he wanted to be selfish and only wanted customers for his restuarant to park there. Being rude to people who were either celebrating or mourning a life is classless and quite sad. Especially when one couple showed the viewing information to prove they were legally parking to enter the retail center and yet, the manager still called them liars. I thought everyone else should know. This a place I will not spend my money at. If this is how he chooses to act when someone passes. This shows a lack of compassion from him. I feel sorry for the employees that work for a heartless man like him. They clearly need better leadership.

First, the people here are very sweet and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. We paid $70 for two to-go Ahi Tuna with Rice… and it came with a side of rice that seemed to be a microwaved package from the store, and the tuna was stored grade as well. For $70 I would except a lot more quality…

This is a difficult review because this restaurant has always been one of my favorites. The food and service is usually great. The inside is cozy. Despite this, I may never come back. This time, we had parked in the retail center parking to attend a viewing for a dear friend of mine. We had not even shut the doors to our car when the manager came running from across the parking lot yelling at us that we needed to move. He was aggressive and did not give us an opportunity to tell him where we were going. Confused, I asked whether or not this parking lot could be parked in for other retail businesses in the immediate area. He said yes, and I proceeded to show him that the business I needed to go to was directly connected to the parking lot in which we had parked in. After showing him the address, he continued to raise his voice and yelled that us parking in this parking lot is affecting his business and that he was "going to call someone." We were there to mourn. It wasn't until 2 other friends were walking by to enter into the same business that we intended on going to when I called out to them to confirm where we needed to be. Only then did this manager start to back off. Even then, there was no apology for the misunderstanding. No I'm sorry. Just this manager loudly explaining to me that lack of parking hurts his business. He hurt this business more than anything else. I really can't believe a restaurant I like so much could make me feel this way about it. I don't know if I will ever return knowing this man works there and treats potential and past customers this way.
