I’ve been coming here for a couple years now I think, and after getting my order today I couldn’t help but think how perfect everything has been every time. Probably my favorite place in town to eat.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is such a cute place with an amazing selection of smoothies and food. Their menu for smoothies offers basic fruity drinks, "superfood" drinks, which are smoothies that contain certain ingredients like chia seeds, protein, ginger, and kale, and kids drinks. Their food choices consist of various flatbreads, wraps, quesadillas, sandwiches, bowls, and sides. If I'm not mistaken, you can order most of the menu with vegan/vegetarian substitutes and options. If you're in a hurry, their drive thru is efficient and fairly quick. Overall a great place to eat or stop by for a drink. Although some complain that their prices are too high, I personally think it's worth it; no matter what you order, you get a whole lot of food that's healthy and tastes great :)

I’d give them 6 stars if I could. This isn’t an ice cream shop like Google says (although they may have ice cream). This is a great cafe and sandwich shop with excellent food and fresh fruit/veggie smoothies. It’s modern inside and even on their second day open the service was fast and friendly. San Angelo has needed a place like this! 10/10 will be back very soon.

We have been here several times now, and we love everything we have tried. Not only is it nice to have the option of healthy eating, but affordable as well. I love the way the reward program works. Even our kids enjoy their food to.

Went 1050AM opening day, drive thru was open and only 3 cars in front of me. Took less than 10 mins to get my smoothie which is awesome for opening day! Ordered jetty punch which is strawberry banana. Its delicious. Seriously impressed by the amount of smoothie you get for $5. I'll be back!

The smoothies and food here are healthy and refreshing. I especially like the Mocha Madness and Avocolada smoothies, the chicken pesto flatbread, Thai chicken wrap, and berry granola Greek yogurt. Service is always fast and accurate here.

I've never been so disappointed with such a good smoothie... Ok so let me get this all out of the way, smoothies are great. Well worth the $5 and change. I'm from Los Angeles so I know smoothies. These are the best smoothies I've had. That being said since I'm sick I decided to get one to cheer myself up by getting one, but I can't taste it. I just taste... Generic smoothie (like yogurt but not yogurt, like the smoothie equivalent is yogurt) and banana. And I know it's not TSC fault it's because I'm sick.

My husband and I eat a Vegan/Plant Based Diet. So happy to eat here!! Best healthy smoothies and the staff worked with me to build a Chicken/Soy based sandwich with no dairy! They have a great selection, andcit is delicious!! One of my absolute favorite places to eat in San Angelo. 1st my husband went, then he swung by to take me, then went back with the kids, lol. They gave us a couple of free smoothies because we came 3 it's in 1 day! Awesome staff, and amazing food..your winning!

The smoothies are blended well, the food was nice and light. My biggest complaint is the seating. I'm not a fan of bar stools and the tables were full when I went. The seats were uncomfortable. There was plenty of staff and they were all pleasant. Order came out quickly and looked great.

the smoothie was good and the customer service was alright but rated them 4 stars because they only offer animal based protein powders and do not have a plant based option. As a vegetarian it was extremely disappointing. I'm glad I asked before ordering... Got a response from a manager who said that they do actually have pea protein and soy protein. The girl at the register just didn't know her stuff. Changed my review back to 5 stars for the manager being so nice. I told him they should educate their employees better.

If you’re looking for something different in San Angelo then I would recommend coming here. They’re typically fast, efficient, and it’s not fried chicken or Tex-Mex! Seriously though, their food is a breath of fresh air. They have tasty smoothies, sandwiches, and side items. You won’t be disappointed!

Absurdly good. Went their today for lunch with a buddy of mine and scooped a watermelon mojito and the hummus wrap. The wrap was perfect and out in way under 10 minutes. This place is no joke. I just wish they would add a tip line to their receipts because i don't often carry cash.

Good smoothies! understand everybody is understaff right now though it usually does take a little while but it's OK because it's fresh! I just wish they would at least be open until 9:30pm sometimes I work really late in my own store and literally like tonight I got out at 8:43 but couldn't make it there by 9 and I really wanted a peanut butter cups smoothie lol just saying... some things that would actually make them more money. That extra 30 minutes could make them an extra 1000,...2000 more dollars!!

I enjoy going to Tropical Smoothie. It's a fresh new twist for this area, and is Caribbean themed. It's a smoothie based menu with simple and healthy ingredients and meals, which speaks volumes here. The food and smoothies are light and refreshing, especially when it's hot outside. The sauces and salsas are unique. They give ASU and military discounts, but I'm not sure about Howard College or senior discounts. They even have a kids menu. They also let you choose a side of either appleslaw, a fresh fruit, or chips. If you order a meal you can add a smoothie for less than what you'd pay for buying a smoothie alone. The prices are very reasonable. The portions are smaller than most places, but the smoothies are very large. If you want to lose weight and/or eat healthier this place is a great choice. They have a drive-thru as well. You can also count calories, as they appear on every menu. If you're watching calories pay attention to the smoothies, as they can range from 180 to over 700 calories each. They built the building from the ground up, so my only complaint is that they should've built on a larger lot to leave room for more parking and a bigger dining area. The dining area, parking lot, and drive-thru can fill up during lunch and become chaotic.

It's rabbit food - really really good rabbit food, but it is what it is nonetheless. A good place to go after your yoga class, or whatever it is that rabbits do. #vegetarianfriendly #healthy

Only 1 person was making smoothies, using only 1 of 5 blenders. There were at least 4 employees that had nothing to do. I noticed that my order was done and removed from their queue screen after 5 minutes. I didn't get my order until 10 minutes after that. There seem to be some efficiency issues when only 1 person is using 1 blender with 4 others doing nothing but looking at their smartphones.

I ordered a chicken caprese and it had bbq sauce in it. I love tropical smoothie but was seriously disappointed.

I went in when they weren't that busy, a few cars in drive thru so went in to save time. 10 min go by.. Drivethru empty. They had given my order to someone that had gone through the drivethru, rushed to get my order (I'm the only person in there). I get home.. It's not even the right wrap.

I just went through the drive thru and ordered my normal blimey limey and it is so watery, it’s like there is no ice. The young girl at the drive thru knew there was something wrong when she handed it to me especially since my wife’s smoothie was made right.

After having my order repeated back 3 or more times by the obviously annoyed by my presence employee, I still got the wrong food 🙃 Called the store to see what I was charged for since I didn't get a receipt and spoke with a rude manager who basically told me it was my fault. Good food, but Always mess up my order! I normally order a Triple Cheese and Chicken Quesadilla, and 8/10 times they forget the chicken?? This time they at least included the chicken, yet the quesadilla was way undercooked and no salsa. I ordered my food 20 minutes ahead of time and I can still tell they forgot about my order as they were all on their phones and rushed to get my order started.

I went this morning to get my smoothie fix (I am a repeat customer) I usually go for lunch and I love it ! I went this morning as they were opening ordered a smoothie came home to be disappointed the smoothie was NOT smooth. I am very disappointed because I very much enjoy coming here but this morning has change my opinion, how can you make a smoothie and have chunks of ice to the point the mg straw can not suck anything .

The hours need updating. The drive thru opens at 10am, not 9am. It says that this was confirmed 9 weeks ago but we're waiting in the parking lot because the business drive thru is not actually open. Please update. Moreover, I always get items with the chipotle mayo and they never put enough. I can barely taste it most of the time. Surely it can't be much to add a sauce?

6 teenagers working. Was picking up a doordash which wasn’t started until I arrived. The male preparing the order and the girl working the drive-thru were the only people working. There was a female eating chips while preparing food and another female with AirPods in her ears singing a song and not working it.

My first time there and was looking so forward to it . I wanted a banana smoothie , but had to settle for strawberry and banana . 7 dollars for a maybe 25 oz smoothie , WOW . I don't think they use real fruit , it takes like liquid flavoring . And I can't even taste the banana . So disappointed because I have been wanting to go there for a while now . But won't go back . 😢😢😢

Staff was incompetent took 40 minutes to get my food when there were only 2 other people there. The register also stopped working delaying order even more. Ordered toasted by the time I got it it was cold.

Made an online order for curbside pickup. I say DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!!! Save your time and just go to the drive thru. Needless to say that we were waiting for our oder that was supposedly done by 1154 and got our smoothies at 1209 by then four cars got their orders before us that was in the drive thru. They were after we made our order. Oh and the Mango Smoothie tasted like ice with a hint of not mango, but more ice if I wanted to drink ice I'll just buy ice from the ice machine for less rather than here. I hope management sees this and fix the issue. At this moment I do not recommend.

Got a PB cup smoothie and it was just chocolate ice. No banana and no peanut butter. Just huge chunks of chocolate flavored ice. Awful.

So me and wife get food from Tropical Smoothie either by drive thru or delivery via Doordash at least once a week. Generally everything is good, this time however is sadly not the same. We order 2 combos and 1 kids meal through Doordash. Once our food arrived, we discovered that we were missing 2 of our side items. Due to the fact that our food was delivered, we couldn't just have the order corrected. I did call the Tropical Smoothie on Kickerbocker and reported the above stated, the lady only said "oh im sorry". As much as this Apology means, we still are missing our sides. Tropical Smoothie on Knickerbocker, please just read the damn orders and ensure that the orders are complete before sending the orders to families that are awaiting their PURCHASE. Step it up Assclowns.

The excuse we received is that they “portion it”. Very poor service and complete lack of care by a place that I have been going to for a while. I am very disappointed with the food I received but more disappointed in the carelessness by the staff.
