Fun times with friends overlooking the La Cantera Resort & Spa. Homemade pretzel was delicious along with the chicken sandwich. Simple and relaxing atmosphere

Fantastic service and food. Wanted to try so much more on the menu than we were able to eat. The staff was extremely attentive. Would definitely visit again!

Had lunch at this location where we order some nachos and some seasoned fries as well as some drinks. Place was great definitely gotta check it out.

Visited this place after a long day at six flags and I do not regret it. I was just a tad skeptical on the reviews about the burger here being so good but they're right, the burger is spot on! The service was good as well. Lastly, there is a nice view if you choose to sit outside or near the window.

Diego was great and super attentive, he made sure we were able to watch our football game comfortably on Sunday. The atmosphere here was great and we enjoyed our food. Definitely coming back for football Sunday!

Best Burger 🍔 we have had ever. The fried egg and thick bacon with double meat and cheese. Sam has great customer service and made us feel welcomed. Like the Big screen TVs and bar is fully stocked. The name of the burger is double double cheese burger. Sorry no pictures got right to it when it came out hot and fresh.

We went here for breakfast while in town on vacation and it was wonderful! We did get an orange juice that was bad but as soon as we mentioned it the server replaced it immediately and the second one was fine. All the food was delicious, good variety of options even with a smaller menu, and service was great as well!

Place has really nice views. Food was good, tomato soup stood out. Service is prompt Perhaps a floor mopping here and there a few times. Worth the visit!

This place has the view of the golf course. I ordered a club sandwich and a salad. It was the perfect lunch. The waitress was both friendly and professional. The bartender created the drinks I asked for which were a tequila sunrise, tequila moonrise, and a fusion of the two which I called the La Cantera Eclipse. All three drinks were amazing! The ambiance was peaceful and enjoyable.

Stayed at the resort over Christmas break, and this was one of the restaurants on site. It was very relaxed and we were some of the only people. It was perfect. The beer and food was delicious and our waiter was super cool. Thanks!

Nicole, the manager and our waitress was very friendly and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our visit at their restaurant. They were very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely return on a future visit.

I had the Mac and cheese bites for appetizer, they could've used a little more salt for flavor but otherwise, it was a perfect visit with great service.

Food is great. I recommend the cheesesteak sandwich! One star off cause the service was a little slow. Beer is ice cold and cocktails are tasty. They have live music sometimes. Heard a cover band that had an impressive range.

The biggest burgers in San Antonio, and very tasty! Start with the Brussels, they were a nice change from the usual chips and salsa. I recommend Grille 254 even if you aren't a guest of the resort, definitely worth it!

Really good food and good drinks, great views over San Antonio. A little difficult to find in the resort, it's not well signed, but ask and staff are happy to give directions.

Sat outside. Lovely view of course and surroundings. The server was incredibly friendly, capable, and never missed a beat. Had a cobb salad and it was very good.

Visiting San Antonio and staying near the area, friends suggested to meet here for happy hour, waitress and bar tender were super friendly and helpful. Food and cocktails were good. The place wasn't over crowded which made me feel better with the pandemic surging, I felt comfortable enough to relax and enjoy my vaccinated friends company with the beautiful scenery.

This place has really nice amenities and appropriate seating. The bar is large and has specialty cocktails for everyone. The entry is a little misleading but there are several entry points. The outdoor views are gorgeous and show the nicely kept golf course. It has a very nice outdoor walking area as well.

I ordered the honey habanero fried chicken sandwich, which was tasty, but needs to be more habaneroy. He ordered the blackened Cajun burger. He said it was really good. Their iced tea was lack-luster...why don't restaurants brew their own tea??? It isn't that hard to do! To end this meal, we got their amazing strawberry layer cake...it was divine! Coffee was good too.

It's a cool place for a late afternoon happy hour. It doesn't get too busy but I was out of there before 7pm. It's a full service restaurant, with a full bar, wine, and about 20 craft beers on tap - most of them brewed in Texas. Monday through Saturday from 3p to 7p, they have $5 wells, $5 drafts, $7 burgers and appetizers. I'd hate to see what their prices are like AFTER happy hour - OUCH! The patio/balcony kicks @ss, but there's no table service out there. However, if you order food at the bar, they will bring it out to you. Awesome views of the golf course and it's up on a hill, so on a clear day you can see the city skyline WAAAYYY off in the distance. The signage to find the actual building is lacking, but if you use Google Maps (DON'T use Apple Maps!) it will get you to the parking lot and then you can use the walking feature of Google Maps to locate which building it is. There are a couple of non descript buildings here that all look the same. But again, Google Maps got me exactly where I needed to be. Didn't have food, just drinks.

Everything is absolutely perfect for a chill happy hour. Service, staff, and food were all wonderful. The only downfall at the time was low on beer selection due to vendor issues. The next time we went, all the tap beer was out. Next time we'll call ahead...because we really enjoy the place.

It's a bar at a golf resort. They only have bar food. Don't be fooled into thinking you'll get anything more than beers and burgers here.

The COBB salad is not a COBB salad. No chicken. No blue cheese... it comes with 2 boiled eggs, 6 specs of bacon and 3 tiny pieces of avocado. I should have stuck to my guns and just had fried pickles!

When we arrived there were 3 seated tables. Waited 35 minutes for food. The burger was great , fries where cold. Service was meh . Two burgers 50 bucks in a high end resort. When I mentioned my concern for the cold fries I got apologies and “it’s not usually this packed” 4-5 tables seated by this time ?You can get great burgers at lots of places so it’s no for me.

Pickle spears were difficult to eat, a knife was required. The brisket was also very tough. The chicken sandwich was ok. Fries were good, onion rings were ok. Food came out slow for only having three tables. The server was very pleasant

I ordered an all American burger as medium and it came out well done and the burger itself was so flavourless and cold. Wings are alright, and fries and amazing. Overall I only ate alright wings and fries, won’t come here again👎

Wedge salad was terrible, burger was ok, onion rings were way over cooked, no onion left and the mustard for the pretzel was bland and lacking flavor. Service seemed low staffed for a Saturday. Had to go pick up my own beer from the bar.

We went here only because we were late getting to a formal event at the hotel. We realized when we arrived that it's a golf clubhouse, but it's the worst high-end one I've visited - and I played golf for 35 years. Onion rings had a spicy teriyaki-like batter, so they were not the traditional crispy style rings we get in this area. And the onion was raw! The burger meat had a frozen, low quality taste. The brioche bun was about the only thing that was not sub-standard. We were surprised when we arrived that only two tables were occupied in the entire place, then we found out why. And the $4.25 iced tea........!

Terrible food!! Burnt chicken sandwich, fries don’t come with your food on time. Slow service! Would not recommend at all. Skip this one and go to Hopdoddy instead if craving great burgers.

Extremely slow service in its entirety. over 30 minutes for us to even receive our cocktail orders - only to send them back. Very long wait for our food to arrive, to then receive a meat burger instead of the impossible patty I requested. As a vegetarian, this is horrifying and just unacceptable. Poor, and insanely slow service. We will NOT be going back.
