This place had the best tacos I have ever eaten. The tortillas are homemade and are pretty good sized. I got the Alambre plate, which came with quite a bit of steak, which was perfectly seasoned. They were pretty busy when we got here, but still managed to get our food out pretty fast. The food was super good, the only thing that caught us by surprise was the price. Both online and in person their prices said around $12.99 for each of our plates but when we saw the receipt, the prices were $4 more for each plate. I attached the receipt. Other than that, everything was great! My family and I will definitely be back for these delicious tacos.

A gem of a breakfast place … food is delicious, fairly priced and the service is fast 💨. Also ask them for a fresh tortilla with butter … amazing. Did you know they make 1800- 2000 tortillas per day.

Everything you’d want in a classic breakfast taco one stop shop. Great tacos for the value, lots of delicious salsa options and quick + friendly staff. one staff member accidentally threw away my taco while i was up and offered to get me a fresh one since i wasn’t done. I’ll be back.

Some of the best-tasting breakfast tacos I've had since I've been in San Antonio! Hadn't been to this location yet,. But it is bustling with diners inside the small dining area and people lined up against the wall waiting to hear their name called, ready to rush out with their orders. I walked in and out in less than 10 minutes. I decided to enjoy my tacos on some tables set up outside. Good Lord are these some great tacos and salsas! I ordered (left to right): Migas taco, Trash Can, Chicharron con huevo a la Mexicana. Everything is so fresh and hot. The migas had the right amount of chips and cheese, the Trash Can is like 4 tacos in one ( egg, bacon, bean, guisado, cheese?), and the chicharrón was perfect! Crispy pueces of chicharrón and soft egg with chile, tomatoes and onions. Their salsa bar is no joke. Some of the best homemade salsas you'll find. You gotta visit this place. Such a great value and some unique creations. These tacos are STUFFED, and for about $10 for 3 ginormous, delicious tacos, you can't beat it! And even though it seemed like a madhouse, the staff was extremely friendly, checking on people by name, making sure they're happy. I'm going to have to plan to strategically knock out each taco one at a time! So good! Keep up the great work 🔥👍

This place has instantly become my favorite Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. My wife had the Alambre bowl with beef. Superb! I had the Alambre plate with beef, also superb! My brother had the beef fajita plate, it was very bueno! The food is great, but what stood out was the huge smiles and how welcoming the staff is. Very professional, polite and they have no problem explaining in detail what each item on the menu are. It's obvious they love serving people and place special attention to the food they serve. The staff all appear to have fun while working. We had a brief interaction with Mr. Angelo, the owner, he is a great guy and great business owner. He made us feel as if we were the only customers in the restaurant. He and his wife place God and his family first. I highly recommend this place. Just know it is very small. The only suggestion I'd have is to get a larger restaurant to work his magic. He mentioned they've been there 10yrs and have no plans on moving.

This place is so good! 1. The employees are so nice. I feel terrible about not paying attention to names, I kind of got too excited with the food . The cashier was able to have a conversation even with a line. She smiled and genuinely seemed, friendly. There was a guy filling the the pico de Gallo and he was working quickly and still had time for a conversation. It sounds silly but I feel like there are so few employees that are actually nice that this was a very pleasant surprise. They are super fast and bring the food to your table, even better! 2. The tacos are amazing. My husband told me to try the trash can and I wanted to the bacon and potato. Both so good and so full. The tortillas are the perfect consistency -thick enough to support the food but not doughy. 3. The prices! 5 tacos, 2 drinks, and chips under $16. Update- went for lunch today and also scored a breakfast taco (they have breakfast all day). Walked in and every table is full and yet three employees still stopped to welcome us in. Awesome place!

This place has some of the best barbacoa tacos I've ever had. The corn and flour tortillas are on point. Order the chorizo and egg, carne guisada, and barbacoa tacos for breakfast or lunch and you will thank me later. The tacos are overstuffed, which i wasn't complaing about. The place is small (10 small tables/16 chairs) but there is take out and the service is super fast and friendly. Highly recommended!!

My family and I absolutely LOVE Tacos N Salsa! One area for improvement, however, is the consistency of the queso at the 1604 location. We’ve noticed that it tends to be watery compared to the nice, thick queso at the Huebner location. Aside from that, everything else on the menu is fantastic! You’re definitely getting your money’s worth, and then some. Every bite was packed with flavor and fillings. What really made the experience even better was the top-notch service. Oscar at the front counter was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the whole ordering process smooth and welcoming. You can tell they take pride in great customer service. One of my favorite parts? The DIY salsa bar! You can mix your own green or red sauce to your liking and fill up little cups to go. It’s a fun, personal touch that you don’t find at every spot. Also, if you’re in a rush, their call-in orders are lightning fast. I placed a pickup order once, and it was hot and ready by the time I walked in. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is just because the seating area can get a little crowded during peak hours — but that’s just a sign of how popular they are. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving solid tacos and speedy service!

great food don’t get me wrong. They are over pricing here. There are 2 other locations that aren’t doing that. Staying true to its original pricing. I would suggest going to the other locations off Huebner & I-10 or off wurzbach. Original owner is still doing it right.

BE AWARE OF PRICES not matching the Menus. I ordered an Omelette, the website and even the menu in the restaurant said 7.99 and added bacon for $1.99, this should have been 9.98 plus tax. Well I paid $12.97, almost 13 dollars; owner said, they haven’t had time to change menus with new prices, well, it’s deceiving. Food is good tho.
